I can’t get enough of Skyland!
Or Hendrix or Maverick. Or Hendrix and Maverick. I’m in LOVE. Every book from Kennedy Ryan’s is her best yet and Hendrix’s story has been well worth the wait.
Hendrix is the caregiver to a mother with Alzheimer’s which makes her story one many people can directly relate to as a lived experience. If they can’t relate now, they unfortunately might be able to relate in the future.
The other part of Hendrix’s story that hits is her finding a love she doesn’t have to settle for. She’s a thick, 40 year old Black woman who hasn’t taken the easy path in her career. And we get to see her have it all.
Okay so Hendrix is a BOSS. She’s a very successful publicist and certified rich auntie. She’s also the life of the party everywhere she does which is how she catches the eye of Maverick. Maverick is also a boss. He just sold his tech startup and landed himself in the billionaire circle.
And landed himself at the top of the list of Hendrix admirers.
At first Hendrix resists because the two of them getting together would be … complicated. Maverick pursues her in the way that he would pursue anything else in life, full throttle.
Maverick raises her bar for life, not in terms of monetary items, but in how he shows up for her.
Maverick takes a lot of opportunities to show up for Hendrix. Whenever there is a crisis, he’s chartering a private jet to show up by her side. Or delivering a farm field worth of flowers to her home. Or just laying it down.
The two of them face a lot of life and the story is painfully relevant in terms of social issues discussed. But above all, we get to see love be the star.
Obsessed with this story from now until forever!

One of the most perfect books. Everything was so well done. Full of emotion, romance, and a little bit of drama. A great ending to an amazing series.

Can’t Get Enough is the third novel in Kennedy Ryan’s Skyland series and I absolutely adored it. You are introduced to Hendrix in the previous novel and get to learn how passionate she is about her career and her independence. Can’t Get Enough features the Hendrix you already know and love as she falls in love with billionaire, Maverick Bell. While Hendrix and Maverick’s relationship is central to the novel there is also exploration of Hendrix’s transition to caretaker as her mother’s Alzheimer’s disease progresses. I truly found Hendrix’s experience and struggle with her mother’s health to be particularly moving. Kennedy Ryan is masterful at crafting such beautiful stories filled with romance and character development and depth. I truly cannot recommend Can’t Get Enough enough! Thank you to Forever and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC!

I’m really sad to say this but this was kinda disappointing for me. I love the way Kennedy Ryan puts so much care in writing hard topics and strong women. I was really excited to read Hendrix’s story because of how much I loved her from the other skyland books. What I struggled with in this was the romance. The connection between Hendrix and Maverick felt forced and rushed and missing more of an emotional connection that I was hoping for. Also the “forbidden” aspect felt a little childish. Overall this one wasn’t for me

This was my first book by Kennedy Ryan and I enjoyed it greatly. So many things I love but here are the biggest ones:
- I really appreciated the minority perspective that was brought into this, a look into the reality for so many people because of the color of their skin.
- There is truee difficulty for working women in the business world and it is often the woman that sacrifices their career when they get in a relationship or have kids. Thank you for addressing this huge topic.
- There are women that don't want kids, and that is a choice! Society often makes it seem like motherhood is what women are destined for, and while I love being a mother, I know it's not for everyone. And that's a fantastic choice for them! I especially loved the note about her still giving in a mothering way to the people she cares for. YESSSSS, it looks different for everyone and no once choice is the right one for everyone!
- Women should build up women. Well, people should build up other people. I loved the emphasis on a good relationship - that is on where you are each looking out for the best of the other. You want the other to succeed, you want to put the other first, you love the unique person that they are and what them to shine.
- Some decisions for our careers may change because the right thing to do changes. Changes are ok, and they don't feel hard when they're aligned with what your values are.
- Love wins every time.
My only beef is that I was surprised when it ended because I thought there would be another big uh oh moment between the two main characters because it felt fairly easy for them in the grand scheme of romance books. Maybe I've just been traumatized with really sad parts before they get their HEA, but I was surprised when I suddenly got to the epilogue. I thought there'd be more conclusion with the Vipers or some sort of reconciliation with the ex. Everything all of a sudden was in a neat tidy bow.

📖 Book Review 📖 In all the seemingly senseless wars this country seems to be fighting, medical research for advancement in the treatment and cure for Alzheimer’s and dementia is one I wish would be advocated for louder and more widely. Caring for a loved one, for a parent at any age or stage in your life with that diagnosis is extremely challenging and heartbreaking. And for ambitious Hendrix at the top of her A-game running her own business in the entertainment industry, it leaves little time for romance. Until Maverick comes along and shakes everything up. Kennedy Ryan serves up a beautiful novel with so much emotional depth that nothing could have prepared me for this wildly cathartic journey.

The story of Maverick and Hendrix was absolutely everything. The way that they encounter each other initially is messy. But What is love if not a little messy sometime? The way that he pursues her, the way that he sees her, the way that Man loves her is something that everyone deserves. This book had me laughing, shedding tears and desperately seeking more. I knew the conclusion for the Sky Land series would be at least as good as the first two. But Miss Kennedy Ryan never disappoints and this one was better. Hendrix deserved a love that was so all encompassing that she had no choice but to submit herself to it. Maverick came in and knew exactly what he wanted and stopped at nothing to get it. The way that this book shows sacrificial love is beautifully done. The side story of Hendrix Mother battle with Alzheimer’s really opens your eyes to the way a family struggles as they love someone who is appearing to lose a little bit of themselves. Not to mention the racially charged elements that mirror the political climate of the current day. And even though there are questions that are left unanswered, the book still feels like it ended well. I am sad to see the series end, but cannot wait to see what is next from this author.

Kennedy Ryan can do no wrong.
And while I really enjoyed the final installment of the Skyland series, it was not my favorite of the bunch. I loved Hendrix, but Maverick was just kind of “meh” for me. In fact, to me, the romance was the least interesting part of this book. I thought the caretaking storyline was much more compelling, and even the conflict between the characters. I’d also like to add (as I have for previous Kennedy Ryan books), it’s so refreshing to see mature women as main characters, especially ones who still know how to have fun.
Thanks to @readforeverpub for this ARC in exchange for my unbiased review.

I was thrilled to get an advanced copy of the newest in the Skyland books from Kennedy Ryan, as I loved the first two about our trio of best friends. I adored Hendrix as a side character in the first two (Before I Let Go and This Could Be Us), loved her hilarious one-liners, her badass business woman attitude, and her elite auntie status of the other two's kids. And now she gets her own love story? Sign me right up.
As could be predicted, it takes a truly magnificent man to sweep Hendrix off her feet, and the man of the hour is (almost) billionaire and tech mogul Maverick Bell. The sparks fly the moment these two meet, but things are complicated, because Mav just got out of a very public relationship with a woman Hen is teaming up with to produce a television show, and she's not about to sacrifice her ambitions for a man. Adding to the stress is Hendrix's mom's advancing Alzheimer's, but as it turns out, that's a problem Mav is very familiar with.
I really enjoyed this one, although I think it is my least favorite of the three, surprisingly. The romance tropes (forbidden romance, ultra wealthy) are not ones that appeal to me, so I guess it shouldn't have been a surprise. (For some reason pouring a $60k bottle of alcohol on a naked body as a form of worship just doesn't do it for me.) And of course, we get to see Hendrix as a more fully fleshed main character, rather than just her hilarious snippets from the previous books. If there's one thing Kennedy Ryan is excellent at, it's pairing the swoony romance with the really, really tough stuff of life, and Hendrix's tough stuff is TOUGH. Alzheimer's is devastating no matter what, and it certainly is in this story.
And as always, my favorite scenes were the ones that featured our three best friend characters. As Ryan writes, these three are the true soulmates of this series, and I love that so very much.

One of the more creative and different approaches to epic romance by Kennedy Ryan!
I have been anticipating this read for so long. I out it off out of fear of saying goodbye to this series. But truly wow. What a well earned HEA! Kennedy has blown me to another universe with this one.
Loved it so much!

Thank you to Forever for the ARC! (Out May 13th )
Can’t Get Enough was one of my most anticipated books of 2025 and it ABSOLUTELY lived up to my every expectation. I think for the best experience with this series, you should start with Before You Let Go, because this is a tight knit group of friends and you will see them in every book. But, Hendrix has a lot going on on her own, so you can absolutely follow the story if you haven’t read the other two books.
Hendrix is the life of every party, a networking queen, and BA businesswoman. When she finds out the man she thought she just had a meet cute with is actually her business partner’s long term boyfriend, she’s ready to forget any attraction she felt. What she doesn’t know is that they broke up a month ago, and are just waiting for the right time to tell the press. But even after the breakup becomes public, she doesn’t think a hot guy is worth creating drama in her work life. But he’s convinced he is going to prove her wrong.
I was craving this level of angst from a romance. It set the stage for billionaire-level wooing, while they also had so many emotionally intimate moments while getting to know each other. I have been excited for Hendrix’s book since we met her in book 1, and this book was everything I wanted for her and so much more. I think this one takes the prize for “swooniest grand gesture” that I’ve read this year.
In addition to the romance, Hendrix is close with her mom, who is needing more care due to her Alzheimer’s condition. This element was written with the care that Kennedy Ryan approaches all difficult topics, but take care of yourself if this is a difficult topic for you to read about.

Can’t Get Enough, the third installment in the Skyland Series by Kennedy Ryan, gives us the unforgettable story of Hendrix Barry—a fearless, bold woman we first fell in love with in Before I Let Go. Hendrix is a fierce, free-spirited, sexually liberated, and fiercely independent woman. Like many women who wear their strength like armor, she craves real love but keeps deep emotional connections at arm’s length, afraid of the pain they might bring. But all of that begins to shift when she meets tech billionaire Maverick Bell.
Maverick, despite his immense wealth, is grounded, kind-hearted, and full of depth. While he enjoys the luxuries of life, his sincerity and substance shine through. He and Hendrix form a powerful bond over shared experiences caring for family members with Alzheimer’s—an emotional thread that deepens their connection in unexpected ways.Maverick is completely captivated by Hendrix and sets his sights on winning her heart. But as their romance heats up, Hendrix faces a tough choice: pursuing a love that feels dangerously real or protecting a career opportunity that could change her life.
I was absolutely giddy reading this story—Maverick has officially claimed the top spot as my favorite book boyfriend! Can’t Get Enough is hands-down my favorite of the trilogy. Kennedy Ryan delivers a sizzling, passionate romance with real heart and emotional depth. A magnificent conclusion to a beautifully written series.

An absolute captivating story that had blended the storytelling of caregiving, love and friendship. If I could give a gajillion stars, I would.

I will forever read anything Kennedy Ryan writes. She has this incredible gift for crafting characters who feel heartbreakingly real layered with vulnerability and complexity, and always navigating themes that strike straight at the core.
I was so excited to return to Skyland and dive into Hendrix’s love story. While I did enjoy being back in this world, there were moments that felt just a bit repetitive, and I found myself craving a deeper emotional connection between the couple which is why I think it took me so long to read. I wasn’t really craving to pick up my kindle to read the story. :(
Maybe it’s because Before I Let Go (book one) is truly a god-tier romance for me, I kept waiting for those same gut-punch feelings to hit, but they never quite came.
That said, one of my absolute favorite parts of this novel, and the series as a whole, is the portrayal of sisterhood. The friendships are so raw, loving, and supportive. The way these women show up for each other made me ache for that kind of authentic connection in my own life.
I kept hoping this would be great, but it landed more in the “good” category for me. And there’s nothing wrong with that, it just didn’t quite reach the heights I was hoping for.

This book was so beautiful. As a person that cared for a loved one with dementia, those scenes hit me extra hard. Also it was nice to see Hendrix be the boss I know she was from the other books.

4.75 🌟
Hendrix’s book was everything I hoped it would be—heart-wrenching, hilarious, powerful, swoon-worthy, and just plain beautiful. Kennedy Ryan has this unmatched gift with words. Her writing grabs hold of your soul and doesn’t let go. I was completely immersed.
Hendrix’s journey left me in awe. She’s a fierce, resilient, badass FMC and I adored every piece of her. The sisterhood she shares with Soledad and Yasmen? So pure. So grounding. It’s the kind of friendship circle you dream about and feel lucky to witness, even as a reader.
And Maverick? Whew. He is the definition of “if he wanted to, he would”—and wow, did he ever. He was thoughtful, patient, tender, and everything Hendrix never asked for but truly needed. Watching her let her walls down for him? Chef’s kiss. 💋
The representation of Alzheimer’s was handled with such care and emotional depth—it was heartbreaking and deeply moving. Kennedy Ryan continues to amaze me with how she brings awareness to real-life challenges in such a respectful, honest, and impactful way.
I loved this book. It’s one of those stories that stays with you, lingers in your thoughts, and makes your heart ache in the best way. I’ll carry Hendrix and Maverick with me for a long, long time.
Thank you to Forever and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this early.

Hendrix, with her hugely successful business in Atlanta, returns home to visit her mother, and arrives to a disturbing situation. Her mother is suffering from dementia, and in the short time Hendrix has been gone, her mother has gotten much worse and cannot be left alone. Hendrix changes her life to help her mother, and in her journey, finds romance and a new way to live. This is a wonderful, heartfelt story that treats dementia and caring for loved ones with such knowledge and sensitivity.

Kennedy Ryan’s new Skyland novel hits different. In Can’t Get Enough, she gives us Hendrix – brilliant, stubborn, and stretched thin between her sky-high career goals and taking care of her sick grandmother. Enter Maverick, a self-made billionaire who makes her wonder if she can actually have it all. Spoiler: life’s not that simple.
What makes this book stick with you isn’t just the sizzling chemistry (though trust me, it’s there). It’s how Ryan writes about the raw, unglamorous parts of love – the 3 AM hospital visits, the missed opportunities, the choices that keep you up at night. She gets that love isn’t just about the butterflies; it’s about showing up when things get hard.
The characters feel like people you know. Hendrix isn’t some perfect romance heroine – she’s messy, she makes mistakes, and sometimes she’s too proud for her own good. Maverick’s billions don’t shield him from his own demons. Their relationship builds like a slow-burning playlist, full of sharp dialogue and moments that’ll make your heart squeeze.
Ryan writes about family obligations and Black excellence without turning them into after-school special topics. Instead, they’re woven naturally into a story that’s both achingly real and hopeful enough to make you believe in love again.
Fair warning: this isn’t your light beach read. Ryan goes deep, and she’ll drag your emotions through the wringer. But if you’re ready for a romance that’s more than just stolen kisses and happily-ever-afters, Can’t Get Enough delivers. It’s messy, beautiful, and impossible to put down – just like love itself.
Perfect for readers who like their romance with a side of real life, and who don’t mind ugly-crying into their wine glass at least once per chapter. Definitely one of 2025’s best.

Hendrix’s story has arrived, ladies and gents - and it does not disappoint.
Hen’s love story is untraditional and perfect for her. Mav is a recently single, unbelievably talented, incredibly rich, disgustingly beautiful man. He sets his sights on Hen, and he’s a man used to getting what he wants. Hen, on the other hand, is all of those things in her own right. She don’t need no man, but oh how she craves Mav in every single way.
I have always admired the way Kennedy Ryan can merge the real with the imagined, the sexy with the heartfelt reality of life. Her characters are not perfect, they are everything.
Thanks To @netgalley and @kennedyryan1 for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!
