The more books I read by this author, the more I’m convinced that she’ll never be able to top the way Before I Let Go made me feel. I recommend that book to everybody I know!
This book wasn’t bad though! I definitely enjoyed myself and will continue to read anything that this author publishes. I do love a book with a billionaire that’s down bad.
Spice was good, characters were nice, storyline was solid. Good job 👏🏼

I love K. Ryan’s books because I always know I’m going to get a well balanced story that packs a punch of emotional depth, spice and humor!
Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan is more than a love story—it’s a profound journey that stirred my soul. As someone stepping into my 40s soon, this book gave me a rare sense of hope and excitement for what’s to come for me. Hen and Mav’s relationship feels like something we all dream of—a love so real, so consuming, that it leaves no room for insecurity. Mav’s devotion to Hen is awe-inspiring, a reminder of the kind of love that sees you fully and loves you deeper for it. That line—“I search for self-consciousness, but can’t make room for it, not with him.”—left me speechless. There were so many bars in this book— her writing is emotionally resonant and just completely captivating:
🌹 “There’s a sizzle where our skin meets, and it burns through the thin skin of my fingertip.”
🌹 “But I want to give you everything, Hen. You work hard. Let me make things soft for you.”— 😮💨
This story also felt like an ode to Black excellence, a love letter to all of us striving for greatness. Kennedy Ryan weaved this sense of power and possibility into every page, making you believe in the extraordinary. Another thing I loved was the fact that Auntie G + Hen’s mama really had an unshakable faith in Jesus, reminding me of the quiet strength that anchors so many of us. & can I just say that the way the church community was portrayed in this story truly embodies what the Church should be everywhere! It was a reflection of the beauty that comes from deep, unwavering support of true community.
Lastly, I really felt seen in Hendrix’s character in ways I won’t say right now but just know that this book touched me deeply, resonating in ways I can’t fully explain. It’s an unforgettable story of love, faith, and the limitless potential within us. Five perfect, and well deserved stars!

It saddens me to write this review because this was one of my most anticipated reads of the year. The first two books in the skyland series made its way into my top 10 reads during the year that I read them.
Unfortunately Cant Get Enough missed the mark on several levels for me. For starters, this Hendrix felt much different than the one we’ve been introduced to in book one and two. Of course we were suppose to get different shades of her in her own book and I thought she would shine, but Hendrix felt one dimensional to me. And to think of it, all the characters did.
Maverick as a MMC is someone I could never get behind. I’ve had this conversation with multiple friends who got the ARC and we all agree. He seems to bounce around and doesn’t really know what he wants.
- SOME SPOILERS BELOW-
Them as a couple felt weak. I honestly wish we didn’t meet Mav the way we did. He could have been literally anyone. Just another man at the party who she meets either through Zere or just organically. The whole Hendrix, Marv, Zere thing was unnecessarily messy.
I could never feel their connection and because of that. I could not root for them as a couple.
Mav has this I don’t want to be serious with anyone unless it’s Hendrix vibe, But we never get to the reason as to why he’s so attracted to her. He sees her dance on top of a table at a party and is instantly drawn to her and they have a conversation where they share family trauma but thats about it. I don’t see how that one instance made him want to go out of his way and Cant get Hendrix off his mind and insistently pursues especially when she’s saying no. Why does Hendrix like him??? The night after the party she’s thinking that anyone would be lucky to have him?? Why does she think and feels this way after one interaction? She doesnt dont know him. There emotional connection needed more development.
I also could not bring myself to like Mav because if we really look at him. He gives the impression that he doesn’t even like Zere. Let alone wasted both of their time for 3 years and claims he loves her.
I feel that Hendrix’s decision for not wanting kids was a plot device to make her fit into Mav’s life because he doesn’t want kids. Towards the end when asked if he would want kids if Hendrix did he says yes even though he was extremely adamant about never wanting anymore kids. Why? What makes her so special that he would change his entire outlook on life for her?
The side interactions with Skipper & Bolt??? It felt like it was trying really hard to play into typical rom com troupes that made it hard to read. That entire "side plot" could have been cut out.
I did enjoy the bits between Hendrix and her mom and aunt, and of course with her Yas & Soledad. I have a lot more to say on why this didn’t work for me, but I don’t want this review to be extremely long.
Hopefully this does not sound too harsh, because I am not trying to be.
All that said. I’ll always be a Kennedy Ryan fan. I love what she has done for the book community. Her books enrich lives by educating us while simultaneously pulling at our heart strings. Cant Get Enough felt like it was trying to accommodate and appeal to the readers of the romance genre who prefer a certain type of romance. If this wasn’t a Kennedy Ryan book I would have DNF around the 20-30% in. Of course there are people that will love this. This one just did not work for me.

I don’t think it’s possible for me to read a Kennedy Ryan book without getting emotional. Can’t Get Enough was just as amazing as the other two books in the series, and I feel like I’ve learned so much from it. The way Kennedy Ryan handled Alzheimer's—showing not just how it affects the person diagnosed but also their loved ones—was so well-researched and deeply moving. She never fails to bring real, important topics into her stories, and this book was no different.
As someone in my 20s still trying to figure out this thing called life, it was so refreshing to read about someone like Hendrix—someone who refuses to let society put her in a box. Would it be crazy if I said she’s officially one of my role models? I aspire to be like her. She’s successful, confident, and doesn’t settle, even when it comes to love.
The support system in this book? Absolutely beautiful. It’s exactly the kind of circle I want for myself one day—people who truly want the best for you and stand by your side through the highs and lows. This story really emphasized the importance of fostering healthy relationships and building a strong community.
And I have to mention this line from Hendrix: “But these two women are just as much my soulmates.” That part had me SOBBING. Our girls have come such a long way, and seeing them happy was everything.
Honestly, I’m not ready for this series to end. I need more! I don’t want to let them go just yet.

This book was absolutely amazing! I loved the glimpses of Hendrix from the previous books in the series, and getting more of her did not disappoint! Hendrix is such a loving, caring woman that absolutely deserves every bit of success and joy. I love the depth of her character - career, family, love, being childless by choice. Kennedy is so talented!

SO FREAKING EXCITED that I got to ARC read this, it was such a perfect and emotional read 😭 the entire book is so Halo by Beyoncé and the way the MCs choose each other is The Alchemy by Taylor Swift, I'm so incoherent rn 🥲
Both the MCs had beautiful character arcs, I loved reading about their careers and their fight for the community. The FMC is also a caretaker for her mother with Alzheimer's, and every scene was written with so much care and love <3
Also, there were so many women friendships and found families in this book, I could cry. We have Hendrix's bffs from the previous books in this series and multiple groups of Hendrix's work friends, and every conversation between them all was >>>>>
ALSO also the romance? Freaking perfect. The slow-burn and the swoon and the showing up for each other legit made me tear up 😭
I'm very sure I've missed a lot of other stuff I loved about this book (Skipper and Bolt!! Can we get a novella??? Please???), I highly highly recommend people pick this one up when it releases ❤️
TWs - parent/grandparent with Alzheimer's, death of parents (past), racism and targeted attacks on laws designed for racial equality
-- ty to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for an advanced copy!

A very heartfelt story! I felt so connected to Hendrix, our main character, which was absolutely a testament to the writing style and choices Kennedy Ryan makes. She writes such strong yet vulnerable women and men who are so patient with their woman. I think if you've never read a Kennedy Ryan book, you're definitely missing out. I absolutely loved our MMC here, he spoiled her and was so down bad which he showed through his actions, it was amazing to see. I loved how mature both our main characters were even with some messy plot lines happening.
Even though the romance was so gripping to me, the friendships really stole the show in my opinion - I love when women have each other's backs! I also loved the fact that Hendrix is childless by choice because in a society that makes it so you only have worth as a women if you have a child, it's amazing to see representation for those who don't want that and it still means they are a woman who has worth. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This might be my favourite in the series. There was just something about Hendrix that I really connected to - her drive, her passion, her desire to succeed. Maverick was very humble even given his fortune and the two of them together felt like fireworks on the page!! These are two MCs who I really wanted to see succeed independently and together. Their relationship felt extremely authentic and real. The conflicts in the book felt real and thought out, and I really applaud Kennedy for her ability to invoke such emotion and her ability to write thoughtfully about these issues. I really, really love this series - this was a phenomenal read!!

Kennedy Ryan does it again! This book felt different from the other two in the series, but in the way that each FMC has their own voice. Hendrix is out-going and fun, but she also has a soft side that really shines bright in this book. As someone who has had a grandmother with dementia, this story executed the vast highs and lows that come with it beautifully. Having someone like Mav who understood this, and went at Hendrix's pace (and pushed where needed) was also very heart warming.

I absolutely loved Hendrix's story. It's rare to see a romance novel that doesn't end with a baby and I loved the representation of a strong female character who is childless by choice. Ryan does such a fantastic job at representing female friendship and community too!

I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN!!! i rushed to read this could be us so i could start can't get enough. kennedy has a way with words that just pulls me into the world and plants me right next to these characters and feel for whatever it is they're going through. i've felt like i related to hendrix, so when it was time for her book expectations were high. let's just say, mrs ryan did not disappoint. thank you so so much netgalley for the arc. i'll be thinking about this one for... well forever.

-The third book in the Skyland (Before I Let Go) series which follows the individual women in a group of best friends
I was so ecstatic to get this NetGalley arc as I loved the first two in the series. This followed the third and final friend, the most boisterous of them all. I was thinking we’d get a very lively, fun read. Instead it was much more vulnerable, centering around her fight for social justices and her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s. I still really enjoyed it, but with the romantic relationship being long distance it took the back seat and was slow for me at times compared to the first two books.
However, I still recommend it as I do pretty much anything Kennedy writes! (Start by reading books 1-2 and check this out when it’s released in May!)

I am always down to eat up a Kennedy Ryan book. Her writing is beautiful, and the characters she breathes life into feel like friends. After reading the first two books in the Skyland series, I've been not-so-patiently anticipating book three, "Can't Get Enough."
In the first two books Hendrix, our FMC, is painted a tough badass boss lady who is always there for her friends. Kennedy already had me pinned in Hendrix's corner before I read the first page in this novel. To say my expectations were high is an understatement.
The way Kennedy handled the deeply personal and challenging topics interwoven into the story was wonderful. She doesn't shy away from the discomfort readers will feel as they are thrown in the middle of an Alzheimer's diagnosis, racial and economic injustice, and the exploration of what makes a community. This was my favorite aspect of the book by far.
The book begins with an author's note about the research and authentic experience Kennedy has with dementia, which I found admirable. Having lost my own mother to dementia last year I was looking forward to the emotional connection I was sure I'd experience with these characters and the book. But I didn't get that.
The connection between Hendrix and Maverick begins strongly with their shared experience of Alzheimer's. Hendrix is a caregiver for her mother with progressing dementia, and Maverick lost his grandfather to it a few years earlier. A scorching mutual attraction and pining unwinds and, based on several circumstances, Hendrix finds it ill-timed.
Maverick is persistent in his pursuit of her, even when she clearly says, 'no.' His decision that he *will* have her didn't sit well with me in an age where women are screaming "listen to us!" And, unfortunately, the more I read the harder I found it to root for Hendrix and Maverick. I found it disheartening that despite being a very strong woman, Hendrix caves and breaks promise after promise to herself when it comes to Maverick. I understand all characters have flaws, but this one made Hendrix almost unloveable after the buildup of the first two books.
Hen and Mav's "we shouldn't, but we're gonna" felt like too big of a focus, pulling so much attention away from the emotional tie of the book--Hendrix's role as a caregiver. "Can't Get Enough" felt spicier than the first two books in the series, which is fine, but I wasn't expecting it and was caught off guard.
I wanted to love this so much--it was one of my highest anticipated releases for 2025--but it fell flat of what I expect when reading a Kennedy Ryan book.

CAN’T GET ENOUGH by Kennedy Ryan the final installment in the Skyland series was one of my most anticipated reads this year that follows the story of Hendrix.
Like Kennedy Ryan’s other books, this story was captivating from the very first page. The prologue alone had me in tears. You can tell how much research and personal experience Kennedy takes into learning and writing about sensitive topics into her stories. She puts so much care into her books and characters.
Her ability to write characters with so many layers to them: who are equally strong, confident, doubtful, and vulnerable always blows me away. You always feel connected to them, seeing a piece of yourself in them.
The moments between Hendrix and her mother were beautiful. the connection between the two women is so strong and heartbreaking as they are going through a challenging time of Hendrix mom’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
I also admired Kennedy Ryan's discussions surrounding Black entrepreneurship and the obstacles that they are faced with, especially as it relates to our current environment today.
Furthermore the topic about the role of the women when it comes to motherhood was something I connected deeply with and important to recognize and understand especially the pressure it comes with the it.
When it came to the romance between Hendrix and Maverick, you could automatically feel the connection and chemistry between them. I liked how they were able to connect over having a loved one affected by Alzheimer's and be supportive of each other during trials and tribulations. I wasn't a huge fan of the drama surrounding their relationship that involved his ex-girlfriend, Zere. Even though I understood where Kennedy was doing with it, I don’t think it was needed. Despite that you can’t deny Hendrix and Maverick were made for each other.
Overall this was a deeply emotional read and a great way to end the Skyland Series. The sisterhood between Yasmeen, Soledad, and Hendrix is beautiful, would love to have friendships like they have. They support each other deeply and keep each other accountable
Although l loved many aspects of this book I do wish that’s we had an opportunity to see Mavericks relationship with his daughter and see Hendrix adapt into that family dynamic.
Thank you Netgalley for this opportunity to read the advance copy, grateful.

This was so heartfelt and so good. My heart loves Kennedy Ryan. She never fails to incorporate real situations and characters into her stories. This ability makes her such a great story teller. I cannot wait to read more from her.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me an advance digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
Kennedy Ryan has done it again. What a fantastic book!! Even though I am very different from Hendrix, I felt so connected to her while reading this book. The author’s ability to write characters who are equal parts strong and vulnerable is so refreshing to see for Black women. One of my favorite things about this book was how loud and proud Maverick was in his love for Hendrix. Both through his words and, more importantly, his actions. Of course him being a billionaire and have the ability to spoil her was an added bonus, but his care for her emotions and encouragement/support of her career are what truly made me love him for her.
I didn’t know how much I needed this series, and I hope we can come back to this world somehow. I Can’t Get Enough of these books! At its core, these books are about the sisterhood of three amazing Black women, each with their own unique strengths and personalities. We need more stories like this in the world!

"Can't Get Enough" by Kennedy Ryan is a refreshing and heartfelt romance that stands out in the genre. It’s a joy to read about two mature, thoughtful adults navigating love with the wisdom and self-awareness that comes from truly knowing who they are. The story feels grounded, with well-developed characters who are easy to root for. The romance unfolds naturally, supported by a refreshing storyline. Kennedy Ryan captures the beauty of finding love as an adult in their 40's with authenticity and grace, making this a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable read.

This book is the perfect end to a perfect trilogy. Ms Ryan writes such well done nuanced romances. I can’t recommend them enough. Hendrix’s story lived up to all my hopes.

The prologue was beautiful and had me in tears. I also appreciated the encouragement around black women in the entrepreneurial space.
Hendrix didn't deserve this type of storyline. I found myself wanting to move on to see if it got any better and it just didn’t. About less than halfway through, I became distracted and disinterested because Maverick was contradictory and not mature for a man his age. I definitely expected more.

This book is everything. Infinity stars.
Not only was Hendrix’s story exactly what it needed to be and more, but the finale to the women of Skyland was beyond words. Hen and Mav are both adults and act like it. It’s so refreshing to read about responsible people with adult issues and how they navigate real life. They truly deserve each other and their story is heartfelt, warm, and reassuring.
While watching her love story play out was worth the wait, the depth of the friendship between Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmen was beautiful. These women are soulmates in the best ways possible and their story over the course of the three books will forever be a favorite of mine. Perfection.
Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the arc of one of my most anticipated reads of the whole year. This book is released May 13th. Mark. Your. Calendars.
