Kennedy Ryan is the master of emotional, consuming romances with real people finding real love. Saying farewell to this series is bittersweet but so satisfying.

“I’ve felt desired before. I’ve felt needed. Now I know what it means to feel seen. To feel known.”
Kennedy is a talent. I’ve adored the Skyland series, and I was CHOMPING at the bit to receive this ARC. I was so excited. 🤍
Can't Get Enough - there is a genuine authenticity in the writing of this novel. You will feel empowered by these characters, you will feel emotional, and you will follow Mav and Hen through a journey of self-reflection.
Hen, our fiercely independent, ambitious and strong female lead. She has such a beautiful spirit, and I loved how her friendships and family were interwoven throughout her chapters. Mav, our brilliant billionaire businessman. OH how this man pursued Hen! 🙌 I adored watching this magnificent man chase our heroine. He put such effort in understanding Hen and all of her facets- as a friend, as a woman, as a career driven individual, as a life partner, etc.
One of the most beautiful things about this book was the emphasis of self-love, female empowerment and the importance of uplifting all women. For Hen, there was a moment where she realized that she deserved both the career and the person standing next to her. This message sung to my heart.
Kennedy wrote a powerhouse FMC, a hero who loves our heroine as her authentic self. A man who supports his woman’s dreams, stands beside her – not in front of her – supports her through grief, and sacrifices in love. Mav is THE man. His adoration, devotion and drive. WOW. And in true Kennedy fashion, she did all this while also discussing deeply moving and personal topics. Alzheimer’s disease plays a large role in this novel. Like many of us, I have experienced the hardships of this disease with a family member, and the written sacrifice, love and the importance of savoring every moment was a message I deeply connected with.
A moving and emotional love story. This novel releases May 15th, and trust me, you don’t want to miss it!
Thank you Forever Pub , Kennedy Ryan and NetGalley for gifted ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This author is as amazing! This book was just lije the others and pulled me in an emotional hold. Wow, I was rooting for this couple and I love every single character!! What a great and deep lasting romance series

OH MY GOD this book was perfect. I loved it so much. He falls first and he falls hard. Kennedy Ryan knows how to create realistic characters with so much detail. I loved the slow burn tension between Hendrix and Maverick. Hendrix is such a strong, independent woman who doesn't need a man but she leaves to open herself up to accepting love. Maverick's love language is acts of service and HE SHOWS UP!!!!!! I also love that Hendrix wants to live child-free and there's so much power to that. We don't get enough stories about child-free adults and adults who choose not to have kids!!! Ever since I read, "Before I Let Go", I was ready for Hendrix's story and this one is by far my favorite! The subpot of taking care of her mother was so devastating but also so loving. urgh, I love this book and I can't wait to get myself a physical copy!!!

I started the Skyland series about a year and a half ago, and I can't believe it's over. To say I have loved these characters is an understatement. Hendrix, Soledad, Yasmin - they've been through so much, and we've been right there with them. These ladies honestly felt like real-life friends. I'm genuinely going to miss them.
Hendrix immediately became my favorite the moment she made her appearance in Before I Let Go, and I was so happy to finally get to read her full story; it felt like such a reward.
Kennedy Ryan has this unmatched ability to write complex, powerhouse Black women who are fiercely independent, deeply layered, and unapologetically real. Hendrix is no exception. She's stylish, successful, and headstrong - basically living the life most of us have on our vision boards - but she's also juggling some very real, very heavy stuff behind the scenes. Between running her booming PR business and caring for her mother, who's battling Alzheimer's, Hendrix is carrying the emotional weight of the world and still managing to show up for her people. If that's not the definition of strength, I don't know what is.
Hendrix has always been strong and very independent and didn't need a man to hold her down, but then Maverick Bell enters the picture and flips Hendrix's world on its head.
Mav is that rare kind of love interest who's not just hot (although let's be real, he's very hot), but also emotionally intelligent, kind, driven, and respectful of Hendrix's boundaries. Their chemistry is electric from the get-go, and once things start to heat up between them? Good LORD. The steamy scenes? Yeah, they were definitely steaming. Hendrix and Mav are the very definition of a power couple, and I loved watching their relationship unfold and how they overcame the obstacles in their way.
What I also appreciated was just like the stories before it, this book isn't just about romance. It's about caregiving, grief, ambition, legacy, and community. Hendrix's relationship with her mother, who's slowly declining due to Alzheimer's, was gut-wrenching and beautifully handled. The scenes with her mother and her aunt felt so grounded and real - I teared up more than once. Ryan doesn't shy away from the messy parts of life, and she never sugarcoats what it means to care for someone who's fading away piece by piece. But she also shows the love, the resilience, and the sacredness of those relationships. It was honestly one of the most moving parts of the book.
And I can't not mention the friendships. One of my favorite things about this whole series has been the depiction of deep, nourishing, ride-or-die female friendships. Hendrix, Yas, and Sol have each other's backs in a way that feels both aspirational and so familiar. Their bond is one of the strongest undercurrents in the series, and it continues to shine in this final installment. I think I mentioned the group of strong Black women I knew in Houston who lifted me up and showed me how to live in my truth. I am forever grateful for their friendship and I saw each of them depicted in some way between these pages.
There's also something so important - and necessary - about the way Kennedy Ryan weaves in social commentary without making it feel like a lecture. As a white reader, I find her books to be eye-opening in the best way. They push me to consider the systems in place that still hold Black communities back and what allyship really means in everyday life. Her stories aren't just entertainment; they're education and empathy wrapped in stunning prose and compelling plotlines.
Bottom line? If you haven't started the Skyland series yet, what are you waiting for? If you love character-driven romance, strong women, vulnerable men, and stories that make you feel all the things (and I mean all the things), then you absolutely need these books in your life.
While I'm sad the series is over, this was the perfect finale. It was sexy, emotional, empowering, and unforgettable.

I was so happy to be able to read Hendrix 's story finally. While it might not be a 5 star read for me, it's still a book I'll cherish and consider one of my favorites.
Kennedy Ryan masterfully portrays real-life struggles and triumphs. Hendrix's journey as a caregiver, her experiences as a Black businesswoman, and her choice to be childfree are all explored with depth and sensitivity. The romance between Hendrix and Maverick is a heartwarming highlight, showcasing a powerful couple that embodies balance and mutual respect. Their relationship is a testament to the importance of building trust and equality
Hendrix, Yas, and Sole bond is the heart of this series for me.

💧Drip-o-Meter: 💦💦💦
💗Something I Loved: The whole women supporting women/female empowerment of it all… from the way Hendrix supports black female entrepreneurs through the Aspire Fund, to the soulmate level friendship she has created with Yasmen and Soledad, to the fierce independence she has nourished within herself. “This one’s for the girls…” Hendrix has been my favorite character in all three books of this series and Can’t Get Enough only cemented her place. As a conscious non-breeder myself, her views on motherhood deeply resonated with me and I thought Kennedy did a wonderful job of showing that perspective, of creating a character who is unapologetically herself, who knows what she wants, and in this case doesn’t want, and feels not only content in that decision, but unequivocally sure of it. This is such a rare perspective to find in romance and just like all types of representation, it matters.
🫤Something I Would Have Changed: I have no complaints other than that it’s over.
🥰Favorite Moment: I mean, probably the epilogue (I know a happy ending when I read it)… but also countless other moments throughout that had me in my feels, pulled at my heartstrings, and made me laugh.
🌶️Spiciest Scene: Chapter 29… coming in a coat closet never sounded so good. 🥵
📚Standalone vs. Series: The 3rd book in the #SkylandSeries. Each book can be read as a standalone, but they do share characters and storylines.
📖Would I Recommend: For sure. Absolutely. For me at least, this was the perfect ending to this series and was exactly how Hen’s story needed to play out. CGE may be a romance at heart but I personally appreciated how the romance itself didn’t overshadow every other facet of her life—there is so much more to Hendrix than just who she romantically shares her life with. Instead the romance was balanced with her ambitions, friendships, and duties as a daughter, and showcased each aspect of her resilient, funny, caretaking nature. She deserved to have it all, including a partner who was as devoted to her as she was to caring for everyone else, and she found just that in Maverick, the literal epitome of “if he wanted to, he would.” And while I don’t normally love when a series ends with some open ended storylines, I actually appreciated it this time. I didn’t need to read about the end of her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s or know the final result of the court case against Aspire, for example… all I needed was to know that she had someone to walk with her through all of the good and bad moments her future held and I know with certainty that she has that in Mav (and all of her found family in Skyland). Overall I thought this was a fantastic ending to this series and can’t wait for what Kennedy writes next.

Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan
Rating: 3.5 stars

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Forever Publishing for my advanced copy!
Can’t Get Enough wraps up the Skyland series with a story that’s emotional and full of heart.
Hendrix has a thriving career, amazing friends, and a family she deeply loves. She’s confident, ambitious, and completely unapologetic about who she is, which made me love her the first time we met her in Before I Let Go. On top of everything, she’s caring for her mother who’s battling Alzheimer’s, and Kennedy Ryan handles that storyline with so much honesty and care.
Then comes Maverick Bell, tech mogul, smooth talker, and maybe the only man who can actually keep up with Hendrix. He’s sweet and totally swoon-worthy…but I didn’t fully buy into the romance. It felt a little rushed and I’m not a fan of how it started, or of how hard Hendrix had to fight for it. I didn’t connect as deeply with these characters as I have in Ryan’s other books, and that was a little disappointing.
The real star of this series for me is of course the bond between Hendrix, Yas, and Sole. Their friendship is strong, supportive, and just feels so real.
Overall, Hendrix’s story is powerful, the spicy scenes definitely deliver, and Ryan continues to prove she’s one of the best at writing strong, layered women. I’ll definitely be picking up whatever she writes next!

Can't Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan

Listen, when I say I've been WAITING for Hendrix Barry's book since she walked onto the page in book 1, I mean I've been checking my calendar more often than I check my bank account after a Target run. And Kennedy Ryan really said, "Let me serve you a full-course meal with dessert."
Now, I went in expecting Boss Energy™ and spicy scenes (which DELIVERED, by the way). What wasn't I expecting? I got completely blindsided by the absolutely raw, gut-wrenching portrayal of caring for a parent with dementia. As someone who lived through it with my grandma's journey with this disease, I found myself ugly crying at 2 AM, clutching my Kindle like a lifeline.
Here's the thing about Kennedy Ryan's writing - her characters aren't fictional. They're flesh and blood people who've somehow stepped off the page and taken up residence in your heart. Hendrix, with her perfectly curated life and unshakeable independence, meets Maverick Bell (tech mogul, walking thirst trap, and the EXACT kind of trouble she didn't schedule into her 5-year plan).
The story hits every note:
✨ Powerful woman who refuses to dim her light
💗 A romance that actually makes forbidden fruit worth the risk
🧠 Real talk about caregiving that'll have you hugging your loved ones
💪 Female friendships that feel like home
What Kennedy Ryan does best is give us strong, fully realized characters who aren't perfect but are perfectly real. Hendrix's journey through vulnerability while maintaining her strength? Revolutionary. And when she finally let Maverick in? I ascended.
This isn't just a romance - it's a love letter to all women who carry the weight of the world, a meditation on family bonds that dementia tries to break, and a reminder that sometimes the hardest thing to do is let yourself be loved completely.
Kennedy Ryan can quite literally do no wrong. I don't just want to visit this world - I want to join their group chat, attend their brunches, and have them adopt me.
PS: Keep tissues on standby and hydrate because the tears will FLOW.

There were times when I considered DNFing, but I’m glad I didn’t because the epilogue was super cute. The rest of the book, though? It had its moments, but otherwise I didn’t love Hendrix’s story as much as I did Yasmen’s and Soledad’s.
What I love about Kennedy Ryan’s writing is that she represents real life with such care. Hendrix’s journey as a caregiver to her sick mother; the trials she faced as a successful, Black businesswoman; and the topics of being childfree by choice were all thought-provoking. And most of all, the moments of sisterhood between Yasmen, Soledad, and Hendrix were my favorite!
As for the romance between her and Maverick, it felt very forced. I wasn’t buying the connection they felt at the party. They didn’t even connect on much besides their shared experiences of having family members with Alzheimer’s.. Their interactions throughout the book hardly made me swoon (other than the epilogue!), and I hated all of the drama with his ex.
As for Maverick, he felt like a very one-dimensional character. Other than being an almost-billionaire who liked to surf and advocate for his people, I couldn’t tell you much about him. I didn’t understand the point of making him a dad as his daughter was essentially nonexistent in this book. He may as well have been childfree to further sell the point of both characters wanting to have no (more) kids.
And finally, Bolt and Skipper?! Why do both have dog names? 😭

Thank you to Forever Publishing for the ARC 🥰 This was such a sweet billionaire romance 🫶🏾 Hendrix got the happy ending she deserved. Kennedy Ryan also did a great job of capturing the realness and grief of Alzheimer’s. All in all, this book was really sweet.

What a beautiful conclusion to this trilogy. I can’t even truly express in words how much I love these books and Kennedy Ryan. They are all written so beautifully with such strong and relatable characters. What I truly love most about Ryan’s writing is she brings real issues into her books and writes in a way that brings awareness to these issues. Racial issues, mental health, financial, anything that can happen to someone in real life is brought to these characters and brings awareness of how they handle it.
This book almost made me cry many times with the mother storyline. My grandma has dementia and even though Alzheimer’s is much more aggressive, it’s still scary to see how much it can affect the mind and everyone around their person. I’m forever grateful to read this beautiful book and to see how Hendrix and her aunt deal with the fear and pain of what this disease can do to a loved one.
The romance was so precious. Hen and Mav are a truly a power couple and what I hope many women aspire to look for in a relationship. All relationships must be balanced and even though it takes time to build trust and true equality, it is how it should be.
All romances have a happily ever after but I really liked how Ryan left a certain issue unresolved and if you read the acknowledgments she talks more in depth why. Such a great ending.
Thank you Forever Publishing for reaching out and letting me read this early in exchange for an honest review.

This one was an emotional rollercoaster. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a cute love story to follow along (Mav is a perfect billionaire book bf) but there are a lot of heavy parts as well, including caring for someone with Alzheimer’s. If you have any experience with the disease, this will punch you right in the gut.
I appreciated Kennedy’s tact when tackling this subject and making it as accurate as possible. Considering her own experience with it, that’s no surprise. I just find her books are always so authentic in every way possible.
This is Book 3 in the Skyland series and if you read them out of order like I do, don’t be worried! They are still stand alones that can be read in any order.
Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for this eARC!

After meeting Hendrix in the first two Skyland books, I couldn’t wait for her story—and wow, it did not disappoint. I loved how fiercely she loved her people. The way she uplifted her peers, fought for their success alongside her own, and stood so firmly in who she is? Unmatched. And you know who else loved her? Maverick. From their very first meeting, he was completely enthralled. And listen, he was persistent. But honestly, it was clear from the start—what they had was instant and magnetic.
What made their relationship so special, though, wasn’t just the chemistry (though hello, it was there). It was the companionship. I lived for the little moments—inside jokes, shared silences that said everything, the way they ran toward each other when things got heavy. Their bond felt warm, real, and deeply earned. Watching it bloom felt like a soft, satisfying exhale.
And while the romance swept me away, what truly stayed with me was how this book tackled Alzheimer’s. It’s such a complicated, emotional reality—caring for a loved one while trying to protect your own heart. Hendrix navigated that with all the messiness, guilt, and grace that comes with being a caregiver.
As I shared in my latest Abby Jimenez review, I have a personal connection to dementia and caregiving as I took care of my grandmother for the last year of her life. Reading Hendrix’s journey hit close. The way her mother tried to fight through the fog. The way her aunt gently calmed her during a flare-up. The way Hendrix’s helplessness was written with such quiet, honest pain. It hurt.
But it also healed something in me to see the community rally around them. Everyone—Hendrix, her mother, her aunt—was cared for. And just as importantly, the book didn’t only dwell on the hard days. We got glimpses of the good ones, too—the ones that remind you life isn’t just about enduring, but about finding joy where you can. It was raw, real, and told so beautifully.
And we have to talk about the Skyland sisterhood—Hen, Sole, and Yas. These women are the heart of this series. Their bond is vulnerable, funny, deeply loyal, and full of the kind of strength that makes you want to call your best friend the second you turn the last page. Hendrix in particular is the kind of heroine we need more of: bold, independent, unapologetically child-free by choice, and grounded in her truth. I want to be in their circle. I want to be them. Thank you, Kennedy Ryan, for writing characters that feel like friends. I love this series—10/10 recommend.
✨ Can’t Get Enough hits shelves May 13, and I’ve already pre-ordered my copy. Manifesting Toronto dates for the tour because I need to meet the woman who wrote my fictional besties.
Thank you to Kennedy Ryan, Forever Publishing, and NetGalley for the ARC! All thoughts are my own.

A terrific finale for the Skyland series. Since I thoroughly enjoyed the focus on mothers in the previous two installments, I had a little trouble in the beginning getting into this one as Hendrix is childless and lives a lavish lifestyle. However, once I got immersed and invested in the tale, I ended up really enjoying it. Hendrix is an admirably strong and independent individual, and it's interesting to see Maverick enter her life as an unexpected source of help with her mother's struggles due to Alzheimer's. He joins previous male main characters Josiah and Judah as gold standards for the genre by being incredibly attentive and supportive of Hendrix's needs while unafraid to take a chance on love with her. The book is loaded with excellent writing and observations by Ryan, and she expertly weaves in a lot of valuable information about Alzheimer's that I was previously unaware of. There is even a very timely development within the third act based on a real event that reflects the injustices ever present in our current world. I love how even though this series focused on the romances of these women, it never lost sight of the resilient friendship between the three of them that serves as both its cornerstone and primary love story. I am sad to see Skyland come to an end, but am so glad that Ryan gifted us these three tremendous novels.

Because what is for me, is for me. I don't have to worry about somebody stealing it, and I don't have to prove that it is or ever was mine. Even if it begins in the wrong place, with the wrong person, if it's meant for me, it will find me. He found me.
Kennedy really saved the best book in the Skyland series for last. I could not believe how fast I flew through this book, trying to get more of Hendrix and Maverick! My favorite part about them is how Maverick loves Hendrix because she deserves this type of love that is all-consuming and continuously shows up again and again.
At one point, I realized I was at the end of the book. Thankfully, I had the epilogue, but I didn't want it to end. I could have read 300 more pages of Hendrix & Maverick. I feel so lucky to live in a time where I get to experience Kennedy Ryan's writing!
Thank you to Forever for this early read of Can't Get Enough!

Kennedy Ryan has done it again. Beautifully written!! This an amazing way to end the story of the TRIO friend group!

Rating: 4.5/5
Thank you Kennedy Ryan and Forever for an ARC of this book via NetGalley!
After meeting Hendrix in the other two Skyland books, I was so excited for hers! I loved how much she loved her people. I loved the way she supported her peers and fought not only for her success but also theirs. And you know who also loved her? Maverick. From their first meeting, Hendrix had him enthralled. Seriously, he was *very* persistent in pursuing her. But it was obv their connection was instant. I loved the easy rapport they established and that's what I loved most about their relationship: the companionship. Yes, there was crackling tension and physical chemistry, but I lived for the moments when they shared inside jokes, when they shared their experiences to be understood, and when they ran to support each other. And watching that bond grow between them just felt good.
As much as the romance was central to the story, this book shined in its depiction of Alzheimer’s. It’s such a complex situation, to care for a family member who is ill and have to balance what is good for them *and* you. And Hendrix embodied that imperfect juggling so well. Not gonna lie, it was hard. The way we saw her mother struggle to fight through the fog taking over her mind. The way we saw her aunt calm her mother in the midst of an outburst. The way Hendrix felt helpless as she realized she didn’t truly know the extent of her mother’s condition. It hurt to see but I felt heartened when their communities rallied behind them so *each* of them was taken care of. And I so appreciated that the bad days were not the whole of what we saw. We got to see the good (not perfect) ones and it reminded us that it’s not simply about fighting through the doom but also taking strength in the moments when things are okay. It was real and raw and so powerful.
CN: open-door romance, family member with Alzheimer’s and care for them, mentions of deaths of family members

Kennedy Ryan has a gift for storytelling that goes beyond romance—she writes with heart, purpose, and an unflinching commitment to portraying real life with all its beauty and pain. Can’t Get Enough, the final installment in the Skyland series, is no exception.
This is Hendrix’s story—a fiercely ambitious, successful businesswoman juggling her thriving career and the deeply personal challenge of caring for her mother, who is battling Alzheimer’s. Romance is the last thing on her mind… until she meets tech mogul Maverick Bell.
As always, Ryan tackles heavy topics with grace and nuance. The depiction of Alzheimer’s and the emotional toll it takes on both the person diagnosed and their caregiver was heartbreakingly real. Hendrix’s quiet grief, her fierce protectiveness, and the tender, complicated moments with her mother were some of the most moving parts of the novel. The love that fills their home—with Aunt G offering her unique warmth and wisdom—radiates off the page.
And let’s talk about the Skyland sisterhood—Hen, Sole, and Yas. These women are the backbone of this series and shine just as brightly here. Their bond is unwavering, supportive, and full of the kind of vulnerability and strength that makes you want to call your best friends the second you finish reading.
Hendrix, in particular, is the kind of heroine we don’t see often enough. She’s bold, independent, unapologetically child-free by choice, and deeply rooted in her sense of self. Kennedy Ryan excels at writing women like her—fully formed, emotionally complex, and unapologetically powerful.
Maverick Bell is swoon-worthy in all the right ways—supportive, emotionally intelligent, respectful. But I’ll admit, the romance didn’t completely hit home for me. While the chemistry is there and the spice is definitely there, parts of their connection felt more like trauma bonding than natural romantic development. I also struggled with the subplot involving Maverick’s ex and the emotional weight it placed on Hendrix, who already had enough on her plate. That storyline pulled focus in a way that made the romance feel a bit uneven.
That said, I would absolutely read a spin-off about Hendrix and Maverick’s assistants—those dynamics had just the right spark 👀.
Overall, Can’t Get Enough is a beautifully told, emotionally honest story that balances difficult topics with genuine connection and heat. While the romance didn’t fully land for me, I still found this an incredibly rewarding read. Kennedy Ryan remains a one-click author, and I’ll always be eager for whatever she writes next.

I may be alone in this, but I'm deeply uncomfortable with the way this woman was pursued. I know I'm supposed to think her affection was so strong she...idk, reevaluated her priorities, but the thing is that truly wasn't his initial attitude. He basically said, sure there's this thing she's always wanted and I will absolutely wreck that for her, but I want her so I'll have her despite her real and rational objections.
