Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC in exchange for an honest review!

I was so excited to get an ARC of the 3rd book in the Skyland Series- I absolutely adored the first 2! This book is Hendrix's- a badass business lady who has never let a man tie her down! Hendrix is also openly childfree in this book, something which I really appreciated to see representation of. She is a proud auntie who spoils her best friends' children, but knows she doesn't want any of her own!

Hendrix's world is turned sideways when she falls for billionaire Maverick- which is extra sticky as his ex-girlfriend is Hendrix's business partner. This book doesn't shy away from this conflict. Also, Hendrix is dealing with her mother's recent Alzheimer's diagnosis. Again, Kennedy doesn't shy away from this topic that will surely relate to many readers. It's a tough read at times but so important!

Overall I really enjoyed this book, but I still think Sol's story in book 2 was my favorite. The romance takes a co-starring role in this book with the conflicts, which I think many readers will enjoy! I will continue to be a Kennedy Ryan fan, and can't wait to see her what her future projects will be now that this series is over!

This was my first book by this author and it won't be my last. The author did a great job researching some sensitive topics. The love story was beautiful and left me wanting more..

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my gifted ARC.

She did it again!

I loved every minute of reading Can’t Get Enough! Ms. Kennedy, I am in awe of your penmanship. This is my third book I’ve read of hers, and once I start, I simply cannot stop. I was looking forward to this one because I just love Hendrix and couldn’t wait to read her happily ever after. And this did not disappoint. I am, for one, not the biggest on billionaire romance, but if Kennedy Ryan writes it, best believe I will be SAT.

I think what I love about Hendrix and Maverick’s story is how we see a different side to Hendrix. We usually see her as the cool, funny, very independent, and fiercely protective over her best friends. But here, she’s more vulnerable. Her struggles with her mom’s Alzheimer’s take a toll on her, and it doesn’t help that she lives and has business to run in a different state. While she’s going through this tough time, she meets Maverick. The timing isn’t perfect, but little by little, she starts to trust him with her heart, and it’s beautiful to read.

Just know Kennedy Ryan is THAT girl, and I will always buy anything she writes.

I enjoyed reading this book. This book felt a lot like hope. The circle of life is going to keep circling. There are always going to be some bad guys out there doing bad things. Finding love with yourself, family, significant other, and community conquers many of the negatives of life and makes the tough times easier.

I voluntarily read an early copy.

Hands down, Can't Get Enough is my favorite book in Kennedy Ryan's Skyland series! Hendrix is a heroine so many women are going to see themselves in. We need more Hendrixes in the genre. Ryan expertly gives us romance, spice and husband-worthy MMC in Maverick Bell, while also shedding light on the highs and lows for caregiving and taking up space as a Black woman. This is on of Ryan's best works.

Thank you to Forever, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing, for the Advanced Reader Copy!

Kennedy's Skyland series is a masterpiece rooted in community. The three books in the series are a masterclass on how to love people well through different dimensions of care (as a daughter, a friend, a partner, a godmother, a dog mom, a supervisor, a caretaker, and perhaps most importantly, how to love ourself well).

I lived for the love and partnership between Hendrix and Maverick in Can't Get Enough. These are two characters who have built a life they love and are not interested in sharing that life with anyone who is not actively contributing to theirs. They are true friends, partners, and advocates for each other whether they are at a Waffle House in Atlanta, on the beach in Malibu, or caretaking in near Charlotte.

What I most enjoyed about Can't Get Enough is the unshakeable, irrefutable self-love and self-confidence. It was beautiful to see this inform Hendrix's response to people who tried to make her feel less than for being a Black, plus-size woman and for her decision to not have or want children. Maverick is steady, patient, and determined when he wants something in business or in life - he is not willing to compromise his values for success.

This book is reflective of the world we are living in where programs and funding for diverse entrepreneurs are getting cut and attacked every day, while ironically and harmfully citing laws put in to place to protect Black and Brown communities. It leaves us to explore how might we support and invest in our communities in different, creative ways.

Hendrix and Maverick also bond over grief and the shared experience of having a loved one with Alzheimer's. To know this pain intimately and choose to sit with someone walking in that season of life is deeply generous and moving.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading the Skyland series (or anything by Kennedy Ryan, really) for loving, learning, and enjoying! <3

The Skyland series is my favorite romance series of all time. The strong women overcoming hardships, the female friendships and the way they show up for each other, the love stories that allow them to be completely true to themselves as they find the partners they each deserve, the authentic and sensitive treatment of health conditions. It's perfection.

While I loved Hendrix and Maverick, and I really appreciated the Alzheimer's storyline so that we could see how much Hendrix valued her family, I wanted more depth to her story. The professional conflicts Hendrix faced seemed to be too easily resolved or forgotten, and having a lot of money played a large part in making life easy for Hendrix and Maverick. I didn't find this story as relatable as I did the other two in the series, and I wanted more for Hendrix since she is such a strong and loveable character.

The final installment in the Skyland series and, unfortunately, the worst.

I am happy to have closure on this series, and it was nice to see Yasmen and Soledad again, but this was definitely my least favorite in the series. I was not as enthralled and addicted to this book as I was with the other two.

Hendrix’s mom was heartbreaking but I did enjoy her storyline.
Skipper and Bolt were………. interesting.

Something I love about the Skyland series is the setting, and that was lacking from this story until the very end.

Some of the things that Maverick did felt like love-bombing. I found myself struggling to like him. No matter how genuine and kind he seemed, he was still out of touch and it irked me. If a man showed up to my house with a $200k bottle of alcohol, I would tell him to return it and donate that money because that is simply absurd. While I personally have never tasted alcohol of that caliber, I cannot imagine it tastes all that different from a standard expensive bottle. That part just really bothered me. I also struggled to feel the chemistry between him and Hendrix. It felt a lot more like trauma bonded lust than love.

Not the most memorable or enjoyable book.

I am thankful to the publisher and Netgalley for the advanced copy of the book in exchange for my honest feedback.

I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley and am voluntarily posting a review. All opinions are my own.
After loving Kennedy Ryan’s first two Skyland books, Can’t Get Enough was one of my most anticipated books of the year. However, while I enjoyed aspects of what this had to offer, I felt incredibly underwhelmed by this book overall.
Hendrix, or Hen, is an absolute boss, as anticipated. But I loved the layers and vulnerabilities to her too. She’s a thriving businesswoman working to help her uplift her fellow Black women entrepreneurs, and I love that she doesn’t let anyone keep her down. But I was personally most touched by the storyline of her caring for her mother, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. My family has been navigating caring for my elderly grandparents, so these aspects absolutely hit home.
I have somewhat mixed feelings about Maverick, however. In some ways, he’s an ideal match, being equally successful and wealthy, and not intimidated by her. But he’s dating someone at the beginning of the book, and while I’m not opposed to some “Other Woman” drama, it just felt a bit out of place, especially with Hen being such a boss.
Drama aside, the romance was ok for the most part, and I did feel like they had a deep connection rooted in similar traumas in their past. But there were also some cringe lines that killed me. “That man can fuuuuuuuukah!?” That’s supposed to help sell me on this relationship?
Plus, this was LONG. I don’t expect super lightning-fast pacing from Kennedy Ryan books, but this was incredibly drawn-out, and I felt incredibly bored at various points while reading.
While I was underwhelmed by this book, I appreciate what it was trying to do in bringing light to some tough topics, like caregiving and self-advocacy (both professionally and personally). And based on the Goodreads reviews, I’m clearly in the minority, as others enjoyed and even loved it.

Hendrix has everything she needs: a fulfilling career, a strong circle of friends and family, and the freedom to live life on her own terms. Romance isn’t part of the plan. But when she meets a man at a party, their connection is instant—grounded in shared ambition and the emotional weight of caregiving for loved ones with Alzheimer’s. That man turns out to be Maverick Bell, billionaire entrepreneur… and Hendrix’s future business partner’s ex, making him strictly off limits. Yet as she leans on him through the challenges of caregiving, their bond only deepens. Now Hendrix must choose: stay the course she’s built her life around, or risk it all for a once-in-a-lifetime love.

I loved this book! Kennedy Ryan delivers a romance that’s layered, mature, and full of genuine tenderness. The emotional intimacy between Hendrix and Maverick lit me on fire. Their connection is magnetic from the start, but it’s the way they show up for each other and trust one another that makes this story unforgettable.

In addition to the romance, Kennedy Ryan weaves in timely, weightier themes with care and intention. The way these plot points are written strikes the perfect balance between entertaining and thought-provoking.

This book is a must read if you love a slow burn, forbidden romance dripped in tension, and characters who feel real in every messy, beautiful way.

Thank you Forever for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

ARC Review – Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan
⭐️ 3.5 stars (rounded up to 4)
📚 Release Date: May 2025

I’ve been waiting for Hendrix’s story since book one, and Can’t Get Enough finally gives her the center stage she deserves. She’s bold, child-free by choice, and emotionally layered—and seeing her navigate love, caregiving, and vulnerability made this an incredibly heartfelt read.

Her romance with Maverick Bell, a grounded billionaire with his own emotional scars, was tender and intimate. Their shared experience with Alzheimer’s in their families gave the relationship real emotional weight. One of my favorite recurring lines was Maverick’s simple but powerful “Wagwan, Gorgeous”—it served as a verbal hug, showing up in the moments Hendrix needed grounding the most.

Spice Level: 4/5 🔥
While the chemistry between Hendrix and Maverick was undeniable, the steam was a bit much for me personally. The scenes were bold and consistent with Hendrix’s past as a free spirit, but I found myself wishing for more emotional breathing room as she stepped into a new, more reflective season of her life.

The pacing took a while to pick up, and a few plot elements—especially the subplot involving the assistants—felt more distracting than necessary. Still, Kennedy Ryan’s writing continues to shine in its emotional honesty and rich character development. The cameos from other Skyland favorites were a sweet touch for longtime fans.

This book brought back feelings I thought I’d tucked away—reminding me of the emotional journey I took with my own husband. Through the highs and lows, I saw myself in Hendrix, and that made this story special.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this touching story.

Kennedy Ryan is back!!!!!! I am obsessed with this series and I knew saving Hendrix's story for last would be the one I was most excited to read. I swooned and loved every page.. I knew with the serious subject of Alzheimer's connecting her and Mav, there was no chance for me. You will cry and laugh and love meeting these characters and reading their story. I am a forever Kennedy Ryan fan! ALL THE STARS!

I have some pretty conflicting feelings on this book. While I loved Maverick and Hendrix's story, I often got lost in the semantics of it all.

Hendrix, as a main character, is so great. I have been so excited for her main character moment, and she lived up to the HYPE! I loved that there was a focus on her adamancy about not having kids. I feel like the concept of child-free women is on the rise, and I loved seeing a powerful woman get everything she wanted and not being chastized for not wanting kids. Even though she doesn't want kids, she is still so supportive of her friends who have kids and the kids themselves. "Rich Auntie," as she puts it.

As for Maverick, he was such a swoonworthy hero. His passion for the ones he loves is so sweet. I loved that once he made up his mind that he wanted Hendrix, he didn't back down. I also loved how protective he was of his father and how he tried to help fulfill his father's dreams. Together, they make such a beautiful love story. There is such a big focus on grief and dealing with heavy issues, and how not to let that overtake you. The way Maverick and Hendrix's other friends were there for her in her time of need, no matter how hectic life was for them, was truly beautiful.

Where I struggled was with the subplot of Hendrix's mom having alzheimers. Look, I read to escape reality, and every time we came around to being back at home with her mom and how she was deteriorating, I checked out. Or I started to drift away into the what-ifs. "What happens if my parents get Alzheimer's?" etc., and spiraling from there. My parents are both healthy individuals, but as someone with anxiety, that is just where my head goes. I would never consider this a trigger for me until I was in the story. It made me think of how my grandparents deteriorated from their illnesses etc. I don't hold it against the author. This story is necessary and realistic ,and is it's still an incredible story overall.

Read if you like a billionaire romance with BIPOC representation and a focus on blood and found family. Thanks to the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review. This book releases 5/13

Can’t Get Enough is the third book in the Skyland series and unfortunately for me it fell flat. I was really looking forward to Hendrix’s story but feel like I didn’t learn anything new about her. We know she loves her friends, family, and career but only those things were repeated for the entire book. As for her love interest, Maverick, he also felt very one dimensional to me and their relationship was unnecessarily messy. I did like how Hendrix’s opinion on not wanting kids was portrayed and I loved the tension we got between Hendrix's and Maverick’s assistants. Even though I didn’t love Can’t Get Enough, I think this is a great series and will still recommend it to people.

Thank you Forever and Netgalley for the e-arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

The first two books in the Skyland Series, Before I Let Go and This Could Be Us are two of my all-time favorite romance novels. I was so excited to jump into the third and final book of the series, Can't Get Enough, but unfortunately I didn't feel it lived up to the first two books.

What did I love? Well, actually, the non-romance content. Hendrix is juggling her career and personal life while also trying to care for her mother who has Alzheimer's. This portion of the book was EXCELLENT, seriously, no notes. It was raw, beautiful and heartfelt. I could have read an entire book focusing on this aspect of the story.

What was a miss for me? Well, it was the romance itself. Romance tropes and story beats are so personal, I'll tell you what didn't work for me and if you like these types of stories you may love this one! Hendrix turned Maverick down several times, with a firm no. She wanted to put her own goals first. And Maverick did not take no for a no. To me, it was beyond persistence, it was straight up disregard for her clearly communicated wishes. And I didn't find that sexy. I also felt it was a bit insta-lovey. I don't understand how they both fell so hard so fast, I don't think we really saw it. And I wasn't so into Maverick being a billionaire. When he pours a 200k bottle of liquor on Hendrix I thought, man, what a waste. 200k could do so much good in the world! And jet setting back and forth on a private jet, I couldn't help but think of the environmental impact. But that's just me.

At a certain point, it felt like a kitchen sink worth of conflicts was being thrown into the book and I was just ready for it to end. The one exception was the Alzheimer's subplot, which was perfectly executed.

✨ If there's one thing I absolutely love in a romance, it's a story that grabs me by the heart and refuses to let go—and this book? It did just that and more. I was completely swept up in the characters, the emotion, the passion... and yes, I gave it a glowing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because it truly deserved every one of them!

💼 Hendrix—aka Hen—is a powerhouse of a woman. She’s building a business dedicated to empowering Black women entrepreneurs, managing high-stress clients, and being a full-time caregiver for her mother who’s living with Alzheimer’s. Love? It’s not even close to the top of her priority list. But fate has a funny way of stepping in, and when she crosses paths with Maverick, sparks fly—and not the kind you can ignore. Their chemistry is instant, undeniable, and charged with emotion. But with that connection comes tough decisions. For Hendrix, love might require sacrifices she’s not sure she’s ready to make. 💔

🔥 Then there’s Mav. Ohhh, Maverick. He is everything. He’s the epitome of a “real one”—the “if he could, he would” kind of man... and spoiler alert: he does. He doesn’t dim Hendrix’s light, doesn’t flinch at her ambition—instead, he fuels it. He sees her, supports her, and shows up for her without hesitation. His love is steady, grounded, and unwavering, and it’s impossible not to fall head over heels for him right along with her 🫶🏽.

💫 As the final book in the series, this story delivered all the feels. From raw vulnerability to steamy slow burns to the kind of devotion that stays with you long after the final page, it was everything I hoped for and more. If you're looking for:
💖 A heroine who owns her power
💖 A hero who champions her at every turn
💖 A romance that’s tender, passionate, and real
…then you need to add this book to your TBR immediately.

Thank you #ReadForeverPub for the e-ARC. To see the Skyland series ending is heart wrenching. I love this trio of friends! Hendrix is a full-bodied woman who completely lives by independence. If I had to give Hendrix a song, it would be Independent Women Part. 1 by Destiny’s Child. The definition of Rich Auntie. She is bold, beautiful, and successful in every way possible…except in her love life. Insert Maverick Bell. A rich almost there billionaire who on the surface has everything going on, from the Supermodel girlfriend, all the right investments, etc. It was an instant attraction, invisible threads that pulled them together.
In the first half, I was not invested in Maverick’s character at all. I think it was because he was so calculated in getting Hendrix rather than understanding her as an individual. It was repeated that this was a “calculated risk.” I understand that he is a businessman but I didn’t understand how he was truly feeling about her until after the halfway mark, I felt like that’s when we understood the mind of Maverick and his feelings for Hendrix. I really enjoyed Hendrix’s character — badass through and through. He wasn’t letting no man stop no career goal of hers. She’s driven in such a way that is beyond inspiring. We were already aware of what Hendrix can do but to get her perspective into her world, I was in awe. I’m very glad that she decided to let her walls down with Mav. She deserves to live her soft girl life and by catered to. Mav is the type of man who speaks in love language and he ensured to speak to Hendrix in her love language — acts of service, quality time and gift giving.

There is something so rich about Kennedy Ryan's writing.

The third book in the Skyland series felt like a homecoming. Hendrix was such a powerful figure in the previous book. She is a self-proclaimed rich aunty, but in reality, she is so much more.

Hendrix is a giver, and she pours herself into her career, her friends, her family, and her community. Yet she has not been pouring into herself. Enter Mav.

Maverick is rich, handsome, and immediately enamored with Hendrix. But he is also patient, and by pursuing her, he helps her nourish herself.

Like in the previous novels, Ryan does not fear complicated situations. This meet cute had me stressed! The way she has Hendrix balance her career, an aging and ill parent, her friendships, and somehow trying to fit in a relationship feels real and raw and perfectly described.

It is refreshing to read about an MC in their 40s. Hendrix's maturity is evident on the page, and her notion that something (someone) is missing from her life. Her struggles with her mother, who has Alzheimer's dementia, were challenging, but I love how Mav was so supportive.

Mav is the type of man to SHOW UP. He was intentional with his giving, both giving her the words of affirmation she deserved and spoiling her with physical gifts. I adored the way he cared for not only Hendrix but also his dad and his community.

This book addresses many vital issues, and I loved how Ryan drew from real life. From women's venture capitalism to the lack of Black leadership in sports, Ryan puts her characters in real-life situations with ramifications for both themselves and their community. I love an in-depth, relevant romance novel, and she delivers!

Finally, the women in this book and their friendships are stunning. The way Hendrix, Soledad, and Yasmin love each other is so full of compassion, fun, and just being present. I truly think their connection might be my favorite romance of the series: the love between these friends.

Full of compassion, powerhouse career MCs, and wonderful body-positive representation, Can't Get Enough is another fantastic Kenndey Ryan novel.

Can’t Get Enough

“We find ways to pour love into the world, to shape the world for good without bearing a child. It’s not about our wombs. It’s about our hearts and how we share them.”
💜
So so so much to love about Hendrix Barry. I think Mav put it perfectly when he said “The juxtaposition of power and vulnerability, of brazenness and restraint-it’s got me wide open.” I loved Hendrix in the first two books so I was really excited to read her story and for the most part it didn’t disappoint! I felt like this third book focuses more on Hendrix and Mav separately, especially the first half and that’s the part I didn’t love, it took a minute for me to get into. The first half focuses a lot on their separate careers and on Hendrix’s mother. There’s something to be said about finding someone who can relate to you so deeply about something that leaves you feeling so alone at times and reading about their shared experiences with Alzheimer’s was heartbreaking, but also beautiful. I think the tension and romance really picks up the second half and honestly this one felt most domesticated of the three for some reason and I wasn’t expecting that lol There’s definitely a simplicity to their story. Dual POV *chef’s kiss* and we get some spice, though not as spicy as I was expecting from Hendrix lol I think seeing a woman who simply doesn’t want children should be represented more and I loved that about Hendrix. Overall I loved this series, I was so happy to be back in Skyland (do we think there’s a book four with Bolt and Skipper?) but I think the first is still my favorite! I would recommend reading this series in order, technically I think you could read as a standalone, but I think you appreciate the journey of all three women more if read in order! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌸
“Maverick trusts me to choose where I pour my love instead of making the assumptions culture imposes on who should receive it. I’ve felt desired before. I’ve felt needed. Now I know what it means to feel seen. To feel known.”

Thank you Kennedy Ryan, @readforeverpub and @netgalley for this e-arc, it comes out May 13th!
