Marilyn Monroe has been a popular topic of books ever since her untimely death. What sets this book apart is an overview of an older Marilyn as seen through the eyes of a hotel maid. This Marilyn has been beaten down by life but still has the spark that has made her an icon. A multifaced novel that deserves to be read by all.

I loved this book. I adore Tatiana de Rosnay. Her writing just pulls you in and keeps you hooked.
I loved Pauline and her love for the wild mustangs and the land outside of Reno.
I liked her relationship with Billie Pearl and how they supported each other through everything.
I liked the relationship she develops with Marilyn Monroe and learns that sometimes life gives you unexpected blessings.
This is a beautiful and emotional read.

I could not put this incredible book down!! It was just marvelous! I always love a great story about Marilyn Monroe and this was unlike any I have read.
