I couldn't wait to read this one.. I love Cole's daughter, Mabel, so much!

Cole and Ginger stole my heart! We've seen the tension and banter between them for 2 books, and now they have their own and it was so so good.

They've been friends,in secret, all along. Especially after Coles marriage fell apart. Ginger would happily show up for him, even when her feelings are very strong for him. But she knows the deal- he doesn't want a relationship and goes out of town for hookups.

Lines are blurring while they're in Vegas and a drunk night leads to rings on their fingers in the morning, and flashbacks of a hot night. Deciding to keep it quiet, they stay married and Ginger becomes the live in nanny for his daughter for the summer.

Yeah... you know how it goes from there. 😍
There was even more tension and banter while they live together, Cole getting a glimpse of a life with a present wife and a stepmother, whose more of a mother to Mabel then her own. And I love that the most in single parent books- when the other person loves the child as much as their mom or dad. Ginger and Mabel formed such a special relationship that summer.

“You don’t have to ask me. I volunteer. I know exactly what it means to love you, Cole. I think on some level I’ve always loved you. And I want it all. Every last piece. Especially Mabel.”

As with all small towns, there is gossip, jealousy and politics. I ate this book up, reading it so fast. I didn't want it to end, but had to see how it did.

& that flash foward epilogue. 🤌 stop. I would not have expected less from Cole and Ginger and their life.

LAW DADDY!!! I mean, really, need I say more?

I absolutely devoured Cole + Ginger's story - I love love loveeeed them both so much! From their secret close friendship to their even more secret marriage, their relationship and dynamic had me giddy the entire time. Cole's protectiveness + caretaking left me absolutely swooning for this man. And I loved Ginger's sass and confidence and the way she automatically stepped in and stepped up for Mabel. Even sweet Mabel was so well-written and had her own impact, I felt all the feelings during her tummyache scene and just wanted to tell her everything would be alright!!

As with all the Silver Pines novels, the found family in Riding the High gave me all the warm & fuzzies and I loved every minute of it (& of course Papa Dean continued to shock us all with his commentary).

Of course, the spice was spicing and there was PLENTY of it to go around.

I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for Freeing the Wild!!!

i absolutely loved this book.

the friendship between the two before their relationship started was believable and that’s usually what i tend to look for. their friendship separate from the group was really good and i wish i got just a little more of that.

ginger’s step parent role with mabel was done perfectly and i enjoyed reading their little moments together. you can feel that she was meant to be a mother figure in her life.

ginger and cole’s growing relationship was really sweet to read and it was nice to finally see them admit to one another what they so desperately wanted, which was each other.

their story is definitely one i’ll look back on and miss!

This series is really hard to pick favorites from but I think Cole and Ginger have made it to the top! Save a horse, ride the sheriff… right? 🤭

I loved getting to learn more about Cole and Ginger’s background and seeing how deep their friendship truly was. They supported each other through so many big moments; their relationship developed so beautifully.

Paisley wrote their relationship with the perfect amount of yearning, tension and love. Ginger is a free-spirited firecracker and we love her for it! Cole is always thinking about everyone else above himself and he’s never missed an opportunity to help and support Ginger. And the spice !!! I knew from the first two books that their chemistry would be insane 🔥 Getting secretly married in Vegas brought it to another level 👀

Aside from the romance, Ginger and Mabel’s relationship was one of the best story lines! Ginger was the perfect motherly figure Mabel needed in her life. Their dynamic was so cute and comical every time they teamed up on Cole.

Being back in Silver Pines is like a warm hug. I can’t wait to be back for book 4!

Finished this in one sitting. Can’t decide if I like Cole better than Wade but I did like the storyline for this one better. Cole and Ginger had me laughing and giggling with their banter. They were made for each other.

Another great cowboy romance by Paisley Hope. Single dad & sherrif. Accidentally marrying sister's best friend in las Vegas. Recipe for a roping good time!! Loved the cameo's of past couples. Looking forward to the audiobook version.

Ok ya’ll….here it goes. This book. There are so many, many things that I want to say. I thought that I loved Wade Ashby (and I still do). However, let me introduce you to Cole Ashby and he’s going to rock your world. He is a single dad, whose world revolves around his daughter. I haven’t read many books with the single dad trope, but I’m here for it and I loved every second of it. Then throw in a filthy mouth and the fact that he is depraved in the bedroom and I was literally swooning over this man. Throw in his protectiveness over Ginger and he is the ultimate package. Their dynamic is wonderful! The banter between the 2 is fiery and made me blush and giggle.

I swear each book in this series keeps getting better and better. Cole and Ginger’s story was much needed after watching them interact over the course of the first 2 books. Their tension and yearning was spot-on and we finally got the relief that we needed in this book. The passion between them was well-done and not over the top; especially when they finally get together. And when they got together, boy did they get together. The handcuffs, the sex toys, the sexy Macarena (just to get a rise out of him).

Our MMC, Cole Ashby, aka “Law Daddy” is the man that we all want. He is passionate, caring, hardworking, family oriented and one of the best romance MMC’s that I’ve read in a while. While our FMC, Ginger Danforth, is sassy, fiery, loving, and everything that I love in a strong FMC. I could not get enough of these 2! And then when Ginger uses his job issued equipment on him…I died. That scene had me sweating 💦

Overall, this book was a 10/10 for me. I LOVED everything about this book: the characters, the storyline, the drama. ALL. OF. IT! I am obsessed with this series and cannot wait until book 4 comes out. This series lives rent free in my head and I’m here for it.

Ginger and Cole’s story was everything I needed it to be! Cole was the perfect dad to his little girl, Mabel. Every single scene that included a moment between him and Mabes gave me all the warm fuzzies. I also loved the relationship between Mabel and Ginger!

FINALLY!! I've been waiting for a Cole and Ginger story after finishing Training the Heart. I loved every page of their story. I laughed a lot, and I was swooning all throughout the book. I love how each book brings back the characters and continues to show us their tight-knit bonds. Law Daddy Cole is 🔥🔥🔥Ginger is a lucky lady!!

This was such a quick and sweet read! I’ve been waiting for Cole and Ginger’s story, and it did not disappoint.


Law Daddy was adorably overprotective of Ginger, and their flirty banter and friendship had me swooning!!


Gotta say, Ginger was hands down my favorite character. The way she connected with Mabel was so heartwarming, and the way she carried herself throughout the book was just amazing.

Y’all know I love everything Paisley writes so it comes to absolutely no one that this is another 5 star read for me. I had been anticipating Cole + Ginger’s story since Holding The Reins. It didn’t disappoint in the least. I love them so much! I loved seeing cameos of past characters as well. I always enjoy updates on Nash + CeCe and Wade + Ivy.

What starts as a wild Vegas bach weekend turns into an accidental Vegas wedding for Cole + Ginger. Their banter and chemistry was off the charts. The fact that they had been secret friends for years was actually one of my favorite parts. The way they were there for each other, swoon. I loved Ginger + Mabel’s relationship too. It was downright heartwarming to see their relationship blossom. I thought Cole was such a great father and Ginger seamlessly stepped into her role as a step parent for Mabel.

Riding The High is book 3 in Paisley’s Silver Pines Ranch series. I absolutely cannot wait for book 4, Freeing The Wild. Who am I kidding, anything Paisley writes I’m going to devour and immediately beg for more.

The way I ATE THIS UP 🙂‍↕️

Cole and Ginger were the epitome of best friends falling into shenanigans while not realizing how in love they are with each other! They literally were orbiting each other for years, always within reach but just not close enough to go further. The tension between them built up in such a way that left me absolutely feral for them.

And don’t get me started on the way that Ginger seamlessly integrated herself into Cole and Mabel’s family. The way this trio went through the summer and became more family without even realizing was so precious, so sweet.

I just loved how organically everything happened throughout the story. It didn’t ever feel like anything was forced or added for sake of plot device. The addition of flashbacks from Cole and Ginger’s past really added another layer to how far their friendship went, showing that they really were best friends - always holding out for the other 🥹

Seriously - if you haven’t read this series, do yourself a favor and get to it!!

Paisley did it again! Another absolutely amazing addition to the Silver Pines Ranch series. I have been waiting for Cole and Ginger’s story since book one, and it was so worth the wait. 

Ginger has been keeping her friendship with her best friend's brother, Cole, a secret for years. After a wild night in Vegas results in a drunken wedding, things start to change between them. 
I loooved their friendship, and watching it slowly turn into more was so satisfying.

Cole is a single dad and the brand-new Sheriff. Ginger agrees to stay married for the summer to avoid scandal. She also becomes a caretaker for his daughter, Mabel. I loved their relationship, and how they bonded over gardening and being “daddy’s girls”. 

Definitely check this one out if you like a little forbidden friends to lovers vibe. It’s perfect!

Cole and Ginger were perfect together. They had great chemistry and I loved all the tension leading up to them getting together. But they also had such a great friendship especially with all the banter.

I loved the town and all the friendships they have!

Whew, is it hot in here or is it just this book because damnnn Mr. Cole Ashby do you have a way with words?
This was a hot af friends to lovers situation.
After going to Vegas to celebrate a bachelor/Bachelorette party Cole and Ginger wake up the next day married and with a situation on their plates. Cole is the new sheriff in town and after the last sheriff's scandal, this town doesn't need another. And ginger is the daughter of the state congressman who is up for re-election. Basically, neither of these 2 can afford to have a drunk wedding in Vegas scandal. They both agree to just fake a marriage for a few months and then get divorced......what was not discussed was these feelings they have both been harboring.
God the Pining, the filthy words I'm not gonna lie I would've buckled for both of them. Ginger is confident and sassy asf with everyone and her banter with Cole is like on another level. And Cole 🥵🥵 lord Jesus this man can talk a nun out of her panties 😂😂
But the relationship they have is beautiful. They were true friends who were essentially each other's ride or die. Anytime they called they would show up for each other. I loved this story and just seeing them become a family better yet a team, oh my heart was full by the end.

Accidental marriage? Sign me up!!! Cole and Ginger did not disappoint. This is the third book in the Silver Pines Ranch series and can be read as a standalone.

I absolutely loved their friendship, banter, and chemistry. They developed such a good foundation for a relationship without even truly realizing it, so I love that they accidentally got married. Their secret friendship really showed their connection. Also, Ginger was great with Cole's daughter, and Cole was a great dad who tried his best.

I love Paisley's writing and this series. This was a fun and spicy read, and I definitely recommend it.

I loved this story. It was sweet and easy. Cole and Ginger have been friends for a long time. He's a single dad- HOT- and the town sheriff- also HOT. They go to Vegas for a bachelor/bachelorette weekend and accidentally get married.

I loved Cole so much, even when he was going through his playboy phase I still loved him. The deep friendship that he and Ginger have is so beautiful. Ugh and when she watches his daughter all summer- I melt.
