Absolutely loved being back with the Silver Pines gang. I loved Cole and Ginger and the fact that they had been hiding their feelings for each other but finally decided to act on their feelings.

I'm such a sucker for a single dad romance and I knew I was going to love this one instantly because it was written by Paisley Hope!

My absolute favorite thing in this book was the banter between Cole and Ginger! I was laughing out loud at the dynamic between the two characters! I loved how that played into how bossy Cole could be and how Ginger helped to balance him out.

I really enjoyed that there was a little more suspense I this book! It wasn't a ton, but it definitely helped to move the story along and made it hard to out down!

I will forever be in love with the Silver Pines series and this was an excellent addition! I highly recommend!

I was really really hoping to enjoy this one, because I love the premise. Unfortunately, Ginger & Cole's relationship was just incredibly shallow. I wanted more intimacy without sex, if that makes sense. My favorite part of this whole story was Mabel & Ginger's relationship.

Oh. My. God. Cole and Ginger were everything I ever wanted from them. I have been WAITING for their story since their banter in Holding the Reins and Paisley did not disappoint.

Cole, aka Law Daddy, is single dad to little Mabel and best friend to Ginger… (GASP I did not see that coming). He is the new sheriff and focused on his job and his daughter. He loves his community, his family and his friends. He’s protective and he is the BEST daddy to Mabes.

Ginger is a spitfire and I have loved her from the beginning. She is hilarious and always has her girls’ backs. She is a full time teacher and part time bartender. She is super independent and doesn’t need a man in her life, well other than her BFF Cole.

Their banter and friendship was perfection and I loved their chemistry. I’m obsessed with the Vegas trip and their accidental marriage, but I especially loved that their little tryst led to them realizing their chemistry and opened the door to their feelings. When Ginger moved in for the summer to help with Mabes I was kicking my feet excited because we all knew what was going to happen.

On top of Ginger and Cole’s amazing friendship, the bond that Mabel and Ginger developed was the sweetest. Their little garden was so cute and I’m so happy that Mabel gets an amazing role model in Ginger. The fact that Cole was worried that Ginger wouldn’t want them as a pair was so thoughtful, but we all know there was no question that Ginger wanted them both 🥹

Each book in the series has gotten better and better, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Things I Loved:
Truth or Dare
They’ve had each others back for a long time
He brings her flowers
Nash and CeCes wedding day
Tell me something true
He calls her Vixen
My wife
We’re a team - Me, you, and daddy

I just loved Cole and Ginger’s story. From the snippets of their past to the way they have always been there for one another. Their chemistry is undeniable. The way Ginger loves Cole’s daughter, Mabel, is so special. Getting to see their friendship evolve to more was so fun! I couldn’t get enough of them. This is the third book in the Silver Pines series, if you haven’t read these yet, you’re missing out!

A really cute small town romance. The single dad/live in nanny trope always does it for me no matter how many times I read it. If you love Heartless by Elsie Silver and Lost and Lassoed by Lyla Sage definitely give this a try.

I loved Cole and Ginger’s dynamic and how she respected his boundaries with his child but also kept him in check when he needed to loosen up a bit. That is always a balance that I find hard to pull off in fiction and Paisley Hope did a great job. The writing was quick and funny with lots of banter and years long jokes between the two characters.

The only thing that didn’t work for me is the police officer “law daddy” thing but that is more of a personal issue and nothing against the author’s writing.

Trigger warning(s): none

I feel so bad to say this, but I was very disappointed. I gave the previous book 3.5 stars and I was truly anticipating this book and their story, it's why I applied for the ARC, but I was just so let down. I don't want to talk bad about it, cause it has such a great concept for a storyline, but I just could NOT get into it 😭 Everything about this book just kept dragging and I truly wanted to DNF it but I wouldn't let myself since it was an ARC. I thought the previous book was too much with the $mut, but this one just felt like it depended on it. I HATE when the only "chemistry" for characters is when they have to have $3x. Like it has to be more than that for me, it needs to be emotional and make me feel like I am living in their moment, ya know? OMG AND THE WORD DADDY WAS USED WAY TOO MANY TIMES if I ever see that word again I swear 😭

Cole Ashby is the new sheriff in his hometown, and a scandal like getting married in Vegas is NOT what he wants on his record. He has apparently crushed on Ginger for years, even though in the past books it didn't feel like that long but who knows. He is also a great dad to Mabel.

Ginger Danforth is CeCe's best friend (book 1) and has had the BIGGEST crush on her bestie's older brother for years. She's a high school teacher who is looking to make some extra cash over the summer, so what better way than with the man she accidentally married in Vegas? She knows and loves Cole's daughter, Mabel, and is just a great fit for that family dynamic.

Book boyfriend? uhhh I'm gonna say no on this one, but thats also because of the overuse of "law daddy" 🤮

Paisley Hope infused so much heart, yearning, and fun into this story. Such a sweet friends-to-lovers, marriage of convenience, single dad romance.

I’m sorry, did Paisley Hope just make me fall in love with the Friends to Lovers trope?! Cole Ashby gives the king of single daddies (Kai Rhodes of course) a run for his money! Honestly, I could not tell you who I love more.

This is a small town single dad nanny story with a BIG TWIST setting it a part from all the others. I was laughing, crying, and kicking my feet 😉 the entire time. And the squeals! I squealed so much my dogs thought I was losing it. No one does it like Paisley Hope. “Title of your sex tape.” This is easily one of my favorite romances of all time. Cole and Ginger’s story is utter perfection.

P.S. Paisley I SCREAMED when I saw H.O.L.Y. perfect choice!

Thank you Net Galley, Dell Publishing, and Random House for an ARC of this book.

Riding the High delivers everything I love in a small-town romance—an accidental Vegas wedding between secret best friends, a swoon-worthy single-dad sheriff, and the most adorable 8-year-old sidekick. Ginger and Cole’s slow-burn chemistry had me hooked, especially with their years of unspoken pining finally coming to a head. While I would’ve loved more emotional depth in their relationship (and fewer lust-driven moments early on), their dynamic was undeniably charming. The found-family feels between Ginger and Cole’s daughter, Mabel, melted my heart, and the lack of a third-act breakup was refreshing. Though the sheriff election subplot added mild tension, I mostly just wanted more quiet, domestic moments between the leads. Still, this was a fun, low-angst read with plenty of humor and heart—perfect for fans of small-town settings and best-friends-to-lovers tropes!

The way I’d been waiting for this one!! I knew Cole & Ginger were going to be good after the glimpses of them in the last couple books, and I loved them. I ate up the banter between these two. Cole & Ginger have both been hiding feelings for each other, and when they unexpectedly end up married, there’s only so long they can fight those feelings. I adored watching Ginger and his daughter and how close they got, and I completely swooned over Cole in dad mode. I loved watching these two break down their walls and realize it’s always been them. I was living for the friendship Cole & Ginger had built through the years, and realizing just how much they’ve always shown up for each other. I also loved getting to see the rest of the Silver Pines gang too! Cole & Ginger are sweet and spicy and bring all the feels, and I just loved it.

Listen, we all know that I love Ms. Paisley Hope and her Silver Pines gang. I was excited to read it, especially because I was ready to read a single dad romance from her and soooo happy Cole's book was next.

I loved these two, I feel like they had the best banter so far out of the three books. I mean for knowing each other for a long time, the banter showed that they had a connection and they could roast each other. But then of course one drunken night changed all that and put Ginger and Cole on to a path that they were not prepared for. I think what I loved most was the relationship between Ginger and Mabel.

Everything wasn't supposed to work out, but it did and everything was delicious about it. The spice was spicing and everything you expect from Ms. Paisley!!! Silver Pines continues to be a world that I want to live in and be a part of. I can't wait to see what comes next!!!

I've read all three books in this Silver Pines Ranch series and this book is definitely my favorite. I love Ginger and Cole AKA Vixen and Law Daddy. She is his sister's best friend, but they have had a secret friendship, too. When she was younger, she knew that she could rely on him, and he would do what he could to help her. That "friendship" continued into adulthood, too.

Ginger has secretly pined for him, but after her attempt at kissing him years ago, he pushed her away. Since then, she has kept her feelings to herself. Cole and Ginger's sass and banter back and forth was so good. Their chemistry was amazing. I could actually feel it coming off the pages!

A weekend in Las Vegas leads to a drunken wedding between them. This could be terrible for the town's new Sheriff and the Congressman's daughter. But what if they kept it a secret?

I loved everything about this book! The friend group, Cole's eight-year-old daughter, the texting, the steamy scenes and the conflict.

Thank you so much to Dell Romance for an advanced readers copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is such a great series. When I got this DRC I started the whole series. I finished the series up to this point in 4 days! The series is captivating and endearing! I love all these characters and I cannot wait for the rest of the series.
Cole Ashby and Ginger Danforth have had such great chemistry through out the whole series and the banter,...gosh the banter is to die for! The whole series have these amazing men who are all rough and though on the outside but these soft and doting boyfriends/husbands when they are with their person. Cole is my favorite by far! A single dad and a sheriff mixed with a reforming playboy how can it go wrong! Ugh I just love them all!

Highly recommend this series to any romance reader!

💞Ginger & Cole💞

I'm not sure who I love more Wade (Training the Heart) or Cole, honestly, please don't make me choose! As with TTH, this book was perfection! Cole, recently appointment as Sheriff, is working to try and clean up the mess his predecessor left, while also trying to raise his daughter as a single parent. Ginger is just trying to live her life and break free from the stress and perfection required of her as the daughter of a congressman.

The two have secretly been ride or die friends for years now and after a drunken night in Vegas wake up married! The issue comes that neither can have risk an annulment right now. They just need to make it 90 days, till Ginger's dad is re-elected and Cole is past his probationary period. Ginger agrees to move in to help watch Cole's daughter for the summer (and cover their tracks is anyone comes sniffing around about a fake marriage) but turns out, maybe their marriage wasn't meant to be temporary.

I'm a sucker for these tropes:
💐Drunken Vegas Wedding
🪻Single Parent x Nanny
🌷Best Friend's Brother
🌻Secret Friends to Lovers
🌹Forced Proximity

Thank you to the author and Random House Publishing for the e-ARC!
