4.5 stars. I have been waiting for this book and I am so grateful for this arc from netgalley! Secret friends to lovers, best friends brother, single dad, forced proximity. Paisley Hope never disappoints with her filthy mouthed main characters! The spice was top notch! I loved that their friendship was so strong that even a drunken night in Vegas couldn’t ruin their relationship. Cole is the towns sheriff and a single dad and Ginger is off for the summer so she’s free to “nanny” his daughter as the perfect coverup for their drunken night. This is the sweetest “always been you story” they make a great team and I loved the story!

I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of the Riding the High, and I absolutely loved the entire series. While book 2, featuring CeCe and Nash, is my favorite, Cole & Ginger’s story definitely earned a solid 4 stars from me.
Their chemistry was undeniable from the very beginning—no matter how much they tried to fight it. And sweet Mabel? She was the perfect addition, bringing even more warmth to their already fiery relationship.
I highly recommend this book and the whole series! It’s a must-read.

Riding the High was so forbidden romance coded, you'll love this. Ginger and Cole were so cute. From their banter to their spice. Everything about this one was perfect. You're gonna need tissues and a pillow to punch. Trust me. You're gonna fall in love with this one.

This book had so much potential! I was hooked right away with the best friend’s brother trope. Their banter was amazing and I just kept wanting to read it. The angst just flowed. I was fully enjoying everything about this book, and then I felt like it went a little downhill. Then at about 50% of the book I just got an ick from not only the spicy scenes but the timing- just seemed a little off. Trust me I like spicy in my books but I did not like how the MMC was dirty talking it just seemed cringe worthy to me… I still wanted to see what happened so I just kept skipping the spicy scenes from that point on. I just felt that the MMC was just too controlling… but not enough for it to be dark romance. I just wasn’t a fan of the spice aspect of the book but the overall plot I enjoyed.
Thank you NetGalley for giving me this ARC for my honest review.

This book could be a good option for you if you like these tropes: single dad (to a girl), sheriff of a smalltown, grumpy sunshine, smalltown meddling/gossip, open door scenes, it’s always been you/pining, drunken marriage in Vegas, she’s kind of his nanny, and best friends older brother. This was definitely a spicy one, balanced with heartfelt moments between Cole and Ginger and his daughter. If you liked Heartless by Elsie Silver, you’ll probably like this one.

Thank you NetGalley and Paisley Hope for giving me the opportunity to read this advance readers copy.
Riding the High is the 3rd book in the Silver Pines Series. The story follows Ginger. Cole, and Mabel from childhood friends to a crazy night in Vegas. I really enjoyed how the Paisley used a game of truth and dare to evolve the relationship of Cole and Ginger.

I love this author and I love this series! I swear each book in this series gets better and better. I love love loved Cole and Ginger !

I was so excited for Cole and Ginger’s story! This one was definitely the spiciest book so far! Their chemistry was off the charts. I love friends to lovers stories and this one was super well done. I felt that things dragged a bit here and there, otherwise this would have been a 5 star read for me. Read if you love single dad, friends to lovers, small town, town sheriff vibes! Pick up your copy on May 6th! Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced reader copy!

Law Daddy & Ginger are officially my favorite couple that Paisley has written!
The banter between the two was top tier. The balance of plot + spice was expertly done and I will truly be thinking about this one for a while.
The found family is what sticks out the most with paisleys books and I when I’m reading, I honestly feel like I’m sitting at Mama Jo’s kitchen table with the family or at Sangria Sunday with the girls dancing to Shania Twain 💃🏼
The icing on the cake was revisiting the other couples and getting a glimpse into their continued HEA’s 🥹
Ecstatic for book 4!!
Big thanks to Paisley & netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review 🫶🏼

The 3rd book in the River Ranch series follows single-dad Sheriff Cole Ashby and his sister’s best friend Ginger Danforth.
When a game of truth or dare turns into an accidental Vegas wedding, these two come up with a plan to protect their reputations by secretly staying married for 90 days.
But when Ginger agrees to help Cole with his daughter over the summer, they begin to realize maybe this makeshift family isn’t accidental at all.

I was so excited to receive an ARC of this book. When reading Holding the Reins, I just knew there was something between Cole and Ginger. Watching their relationship in the background of the first 2 books, I knew their book would be something special. And I was not wrong!
This has been my favorite book of the series so far! The genuine friendship between Cole and Ginger make their relationship so believable. One of the best friends-to-lovers books I’ve read in a while. And we all know I’m a fan of a single dad. I loved seeing Ginger seamlessly fit into the lives of Cole and Mabel. Their little makeshift family was perfect.
And as much as I love Cole Ashby (and I do!), Ginger was the character that shined in this book. Her personality, witty banter, and genuine love for her people explodes off the page. And her relationship with Mabel is just the sweetest!
So if you like romances that are small-town, friends-to-lovers, forced proximity, single-dad and loaded with witty banter… then you should check this one out when it comes out on May 6th!

book *sighs* was so freaking good! First of all Cole is an amazing MMC! He is such a dedicated father to Mabes and super sweet and romantic when he wants to be but ooooo so deliciously naughty with his girl. Then there is Ginger who I want to be besties with because she is amazing! She’s tough, funny as hell, sassy and has a beautiful soul! Now the best part of the book in my opinion is the friendship and banter between Cole and Ginger. There were times I literally snorted a laugh out loud while reading (not giving any spoilers all I’m saying is it involves a safe word and is probably one of my favorite scenes from the book). The way the MCs and Mabes interact is so sweet and beautiful I just loved it all! I will say this book was quite a spicy little nugget of goodness so just know it’s in there if you are not looking for that. Love love loved it!

Thank you to Paisley and NetGalley for the ARC!
I swear, I will read and love anything Paisley writes! Ginger has been one of my favorite characters from the start and the fact that even with all of their banter in the first two books that she and Cole had a secret friendship made me so happy. I loved watching them play house while skirting around their feelings. And of course Mabel was amazing and watching them both with her made my heart so happy. This one of those where I was yelling at the book because they both were denying their feelings even though they were both stupid in love with each other for so long. And it made me so happy when they finally admitted it to themselves and each other, they didn’t break up. They had a moment, but strong willed Ginger knew what she wanted and wasn’t going to let him push her away. We love a heroine who goes up to the hero and is like “nope we’re working through this because dammit I love you and am not giving this up!”

WOW. I absolutely loved this book, i haven’t read the previous two but reading Ginger and Cole’s story i just know the other books are just as good and will be reading as soon as possible. I didn’t like the slight miscommunication (honestly, the miscommunication trope always has me screaming at my book/screen begging them to just talk to each other) but Ginger being the badass woman that she is, made Cole talk to her, and got things resolved. I loved Ginger and Mabel’s motherly-daughter relationship they had throughout the book, that scare they had at the cabin broke my heart. Ginger feeling guilty but Cole not blaming her, and just wanted both his girls being safe 🥹. Such an amazing read and can’t wait for others to experience Ginger and Cole’s story.

Cole and Ginger have secretly pined for each other since they were teens, but she’s his little sister’s best friend, and now he’s divorced with an adorable, young daughter. Also, over the years, Cole and Ginger became really close friends. Neither wants to risk the possibility of damaging their friendship. Everything changes when they go with the family on a bachelor/bachelorette trip to Las Vegas.
This heart-warming, spicy, small town romance is book three in the Silver Pines Ranch series, but could easily be read as a stand-alone novel. If you care about tropes, this one is friends to lovers. The main characters are charming and well-rounded, and the secondary characters are a community of supportive, funny, quirky folks. Cole’s eight-year-old daughter, Mabel, is particularly smart and endearing.
It’s worth mentioning that the first few chapters felt a bit slow to me, but after the Vegas trip I was hooked. If you have the same experience, keep reading. It’s worth it!
Will post to Goodreads after publication.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was a refreshing and captivating experience, and I found the writing to be both engaging and accessible. The story flowed smoothly, making it easy to stay connected to the plot and characters without feeling lost or overwhelmed. The author struck a perfect balance, keeping things interesting while still making the content feel approachable. Overall, it was a wonderful read, and I would definitely recommend it to others who are looking for an enjoyable and easy-to-digest book.

Riding the High is the kind of book that leaves you grinning long after you’ve finished reading! Cole Ashby, the newly appointed sheriff, and Ginger Danforth, the congressman’s daughter, might’ve made the most impulsive decision ever when they tied the knot in a Las Vegas chapel after a game of truth or dare. But, oh boy, did it make for one entertaining ride. Did I mention that Cole is CeCe's brother Holding the Reins and Ginger is her best friend?😏
I’d fallen in love with Cole and Ginger’s dynamic in the first two Silver Pines Ranch books, and I had been anxiously awaiting their story. Their chemistry was undeniable, even when they were doing their best to resist each other. It’s like watching two people who are clearly meant for each other but are too stubborn to admit it. When they find themselves secretly married and forced to spend more time together, I couldn’t help but root for them as they navigated the highs and lows of their accidental relationship.

💒 Small Town Romance
💒 Friends to Lovers
💒 Single Dad & Nanny
💒 Accidental Marriage
💒 Dual POV
Dare I say, this was my favorite in the Silver Pines series so far, even despite some of my least favorite tropes being used.
The dynamics of relationships with different people in your life, coworkers, exes, friends, family, all contributed to the story. I’m usually very skeptical of friends to lovers, but this one worked for me.
There were some lovely tender moments both romantic and family related, lots of laughs, depth to the characters, and some delicious spice. Everything you need in a small town fluffy romance is wrapped up in this book with just the right amount of drama, humor and spice. Highly recommend!
Thanks to NetGalley and Paisley Hope for the e-arc! IG post to be shared closer to release date and will update accordingly*

Riding the High by Paisley Hope is Cole and ginger's story that we all have been waiting for and it was everything! Especially that not everything in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
Their tension and chemistry was time coming and inevitable and their dynamic works so well. Cole is caring, sweet, a single dad that does his best and Ginger is the perfect to meet to match. It's the perfect friends to lovers full of banter and fire between them and seeing two friends finally get it together and be together. I loved their relationship and seeing them realize what everyone saw. My favorite so far from this series. I loved it!

Thank you Net Galley for the advanced reader copy! I have been waiting for Cole and Ginger’s story since the first book! I think this book was my favorite book so far in the series. I loved the banter between the two during the book!

“If you don’t want to be my one-night stand, then it’s a good thing we’re in Vegas. I dare you to marry me, Ginger, so I can properly fucking worship you.”
Has anyone else been obsessed with Cole and Gingers "relationship" since book? Because I seriously have been counting down the days until their book! DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Law Daddy Cole is seriously everything I could have wanted!
Ginger is all sass with a little bit of bite, especially when it comes to CeCe's brother. Honestly, she and Cole are more than acquaintances, they're basically secret best friends. And after everything they have supported each other through, how did they just not see that they were meant to be each others everything?
“It’s not because we’re just friends. It’s because you were made for me. You know every single button to press. Every single thing you do drives me fucking crazy.”
I can't even explain how much I've adored this series! I'm so excited for Hayden and Callie in November, I know these two are going to be wild!
