I was excited to read Cole and Ginger's story.

And then...

Paisley Hope goes and makes Cole a Yankees fan. I have never been hurt so quickly in a book like I was with this one. (I'm joking)

Once I was able to get passed his love for the Bronx Bombers with some help of Ginger's Cincinnati Red's fun and Cole using his safe word like a good Law Daddy, he was everything.

My favorite is when friends turn to lovers especially when there was always feelings there. The man even got something permanent done. Law Daddy had it going on. Of course protective of his little girl Mabel and Ginger. He was able to let go a little of his control when it came to his daughter and became a team with Ginger. The jealousy this man had, had you chopping at the bits to see what he would do and boy did he do it.

I loved how fierce Ginger was and spoke her mind. The teasing and banter she and Cole had you knew it was going to be explosive when they could no longer hide what they felt. It was that little tug and pull of who was going to make the first move everyone knew was coming.

Such a good story!

Friends to lovers, Single dad romance and hot nanny!!! Sign me up!!

I loved the chemistry between Ginger and Cole and how the sexual tension had built up over years of friendship. Their nicknames for each other, Vixen and Law Daddy, literal perfection! Makes me giggle lol!

This book had tons of hot banter and silly jokes and is a must read!

I love the Silver Pines series so much and I have been so excited for Cole and Ginger's story. Paisley definitely delivered with this one, just like the others Riding the High did not disappoint.

The accidental Marriage/Marriage of convenience was top notch add that to the mix of single dad, forced proximity, friends to lovers all in the small town we have grown to love is the recipe for perfection.

Riding the High

Riding the High is a truly one-of-a-kind love story.
An ever-endearing push and pull from Cole and Ginger keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the story. Yet captures a little bit of your soul by the end of it.

Cole “Law Daddy” Ashby is back—and this time he’s the hardworking, order-loving, swoon-worthy single dad of our dreams. Ginger? A full-on firecracker. Feisty, fun, loving, and just the right amount of chaos to turn Cole’s perfectly structured world upside down.

Their secret friendship turning into a drunken Vegas marriage? Unhinged in the best way. The friends-to-lovers energy is banter-filled, full of chemistry, and loaded with that slow-burn goodness we live for. Add in some small town meddling, surprise feelings, and family chaos? Yup, it’s giving all the rom-com drama.

I loved seeing familiar faces from the earlier books—this crew just keeps getting better—and Mabel continues to be a tiny, hilarious legend. Her bond with Ginger was such a sweet highlight, and the “team” vibe was pure cozy joy.

One star off because, as much as I adore Cole and Ginger, they didn’t feel quite as vivid here as they did in earlier books. I wanted more depth and personality to match the fire they brought before. Still, this was a fun, feel-good ride through cowboy-adjacent chaos with all the heart I’ve come to expect from Paisley Hope.

I absolutely loved this book so much. Cole and Ginger were everything. Gah. I think it might be my fave Silver Pines book so far! 🥰

I loved this one....an absolute delight from start to finish! I am such a sucker for a “married in Vegas” setup, and this story delivered all the chaotic charm and swoony tension I crave in a romance. Getting to dive into Cole and Ginger’s story was such a treat...their chemistry was electric, and the slow burn? Chef’s kiss. The spice built up so perfectly that by the time it delivered, I was practically yelling at my Kindle.

A fun, flirty, and heartfelt romance that totally stole my heart. Huge thanks to Dell and NetGalley for the ARC!

Thank you Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine | Dell for the ARC!

I have been dyyyyying for Cole and Ginger’s story since their first interaction that we saw back in book one. The banter and chemistry was there from their initial encounter on page and every time since then that we witnessed them together just had me frothing at the mouth for them. Riding the High did not disappoint! Paisley nailed their chemistry but layered it with depth and emotion throughout. Ginger is the type of FMC that you root for while wishing you could be more like her. Cole is what dreams are made of and I was giddy seeing their relationship progress. LOVE this series so much!

Paisley Hope has done it again! I knew Cole and Ginger's story was going to be good, but Riding the High completely blew me away. The tension and romance between them was incredible, and the spice? Absolutely phenomenal. Cole is the perfect, filthy-mouthed southern man I needed, and he might just be my favorite of the Silver Pines MMCs. I loved the plot and all the interwoven storylines: Ginger and her friends, Cole and Gemma/Brent, Ginger and her parents, and the adorable relationship between Ginger and Mabel. This book was absolute perfection! 5 stars!

I think I have a sheriff kink now…
You could truly tell how far Paisley has come as a writer reading this book compared to her debut! The dialog was *chefs kiss* and the storyline was a perfect balance of sweet and steamy. Cole Ashby was everything 😭 and him and Ginger together were the perfect couple! Will definitely be recommending this!

I loved the previous books in this series. Cowboy romances are one of my favorite type of romance books. I loved the tropes on this book - single dad and best friend’s little sister. It’s got some great spice and a little drama to keep things interesting.

I loved this. These idiots were clearly so in love but didn't want to admit it. Ginger is so good with Mabel and she fit right in with their family. Seeing Ginger and Mabel tend to the garden every day and talk about plants made my heart so happy. Cole was hardcore denying himself. He wanted Ginger so bad but was worried that she wouldn't want an instant family. It's a ridiculous notion but he's an idiot so I'll let it slide. Ginger and Cole are made for each other and I love that they are now a family.

I received an arc through netgalley.

Someone check on me because I am NOT okay after this book.

Ginger & Cole?? Literal perfection. Give me all the swoon, the tension, the healing. Their chemistry? Off. The. Charts.
And that ending?? I’m crying, kicking my feet, smiling like a total fool.

If you love small town romance, emotionally guarded hotties, strong women with soft hearts, and a good friends-to-lovers arc—this is it. This is the one.

I devoured it in a day. Couldn’t put it down. Honestly, this might be my favorite in the series (so far).

I loved seeing Ginger shine—she’s fiery, funny, and impossible not to love. And the way she is with Cole’s daughter, Mabel? My heart.

Friends-to-lovers, grumpy/sunshine, a whole lot of heart, and banter that had me grinning like an idiot. I’ll read anything Paisley Hope writes at this point.

There are no words to describe Cole and Ginger. I mean their nicknames for each other are Vixen and Law Daddy?! I seriously cannot say enough about this book. It is developed BEAUTIFULLY (the MCs relations, and the team they become with his daughter). I truly fell in love with both characters. Their personalities are just so real and authentic. The attitude that Ginger has really speaks me; Cole is the sweetest father; he is so protective of his little girl. Everything about these two makes you love them more! When they finally give in to the accidental marriage their relationship blooms and you see them become a family. You can really immerse yourself in the story. Also, the *spiciest* of the series so far!!
Paisley Hope is blowing my mind with every book she writes!

I thought this was the first in the series so I have to read the first two before getting to this one. Thank you for the opportunity though.

I have heard so many great things about the author and I was just excited to read this book. The tropes were perfection for me, small town,, single dad... But for me it felt flat for me. It total it was a fun book if you were looking for escape.. this is the right one for you.

I have been waiting what feels like forever for Law Daddy!!! Cole and Ginger had the sweetest story. From their differences in baseball teams to their banter and everything in between I loved them as a couple. Mabel was the sweetest thing and I loved the bond she had with Ginger. Cole is the best dad to her. The family dynamic was the cutest. This may be just a me thing but I wish we could have had a little more focus on Cole’s job. I felt like the book breezed over what made him “law daddy”. While I liked the whole accidental marriage trope I felt like it was resolved kind of quick. There really wasn’t that shock factor I was hoping for from either Gemma or The Danforth’s. Overall I did enjoy this book and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

What a fun ride!!!! This one follows Cole and Ginger (my favorite couple so far) and they didn’t disappoint. I’ve been waiting for their book forever. How perfect it was that I got an early arc of this, I’m so grateful!!

Riding the High follows Cole and Ginger as they navigate an accidental marriage while keeping it under wraps to avoid a small town scandal. Cole is a single dad to Mabel and Ginger is a free, spirited girl who has been in love with her best friends brother for years (and he’s always had eyes for her too).

This was my first accidental marriage (married in Vegas) and honestly? I think I love this trope! My favorite movie is What Happens in Vegas so I’m not surprised.

Riding the High had just about everything: yearning, spice, heartwarming moments, and made me laugh out loud!! Paisley Hope has a way of writing her characters (and spice) in a way that I just love. I’ve really liked each book in this series and can’t wait for next!! Thank you to NetGalley for giving me an early eARC.

📖 Rinding the High by Paisley Hope

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quotes:
" When it comes to Cole Ashby, Im starting to wonder if there's anything I wouldn't do."

" Ginger may be my friend, but I'm pretty sure is quickly becoming my Obsession too."

Well, hats off to you Ms. Paisley Hope because now I'm just "riding the high"... after finishing that book! I am a complete gonner for Ginger Danforth and Cole Ashby! 😍

Ginger Danforth is our FMC. She is sassy, loving, and wild in the best way. Ginger is on summer break after her first year teaching.

Cole Ashby is our MMC. He is a tall glass of water, the best dad, and the town sheriff.

Ginger and Cole grew up together. Ginger is Cole's sister's best friend! They become best buds as the years go by. Now, Cole has a daughter, Mabel, and has to figure out how to entertain her all summer long. Cole decides to have Ginger move in to help with Mabel for the summer.

I'd love to say the story is as simple as that but it's not. To get the full story you'll have to read it yourself!

I absolutely loved this book. Ginger and Cole have the best friendship and really entertaining banter. Don't let me fool you by not saying much about Mabel; she has my heart. She is the star of the show just as much as Cole and Ginger. This book and these characters had wanting to keep reading!

This book is a MUST READ! 🥰😍🫶
