Single dad? Sister’s Best Friend? Yes please!

Ginger and Cole are such a cute couple. They play off each other so well and just fit. This book is definitely worth reading if you are looking for a fast paced, no 3rd act break up book with the perfect amount of spice and sweetness.

Thank you Net Galley for the chance to be an ARC reader for. Riding The High!

Book 3 in a world I adore. Law Daddy Cole and BFF to fmc of book 1, Ginger get under each others skin. But they've been friends for years, and been there for each other. And for the longest time, they've pined after each other.

They drunkenly get married in Vegas and keep it together for everyone's benefits.

There's some serious spice in this book. Some sweet moments with Daddy Cole and Mabey Baby. And Cole's ex wife is an absolute b. I. T. Ch and a terrible mother. The relationship between Mabel and ginger was killing me slowly in the best ways. And the "my wife" and "husband" moments were *chefs kiss*

In the epilogue I was incredibly let down because she said ""Thank god he finally got his beloved boy when our son Luca was born."

Absolutely not. Absolutely not. The biggest turn off as a mother of girls. Nope. Nope. Nope. So what a bummer of a way to end the book.

Am I gonna read book 4 when it comes out? Heck yeah.

3.5 stars. I really enjoyed this latest visit to Silver Pines!

I liked Cole & Ginger, both individually as characters and together as they grew into their relationship. They very clearly had chemistry for years and years, and it took some luck and liquid courage to bring them together.

I think there could’ve been more support in some of the plot elements: we get glimpses of Cole’s work as the sheriff, and we know Brent is up to something, but it feels very back burner. And is resolved fairly quickly as well. And, while the spicy scenes were nice, they bogged down the pacing of the overall story.

I love this series and cannot wait to return!

Thank you to NetGalley, Paisley Hope, and Dell Romance for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Paisley Hope does it again with Riding the High!!

I think we’ve all been waiting for Cole and Ginger’s story and it was everything and more!! My new favorite in the series!

These two have always had chemistry, but remained ‘just friends’ until one drunken night in Vegas.. Cole and Ginger are electric! Their years of friendship made for the best kind of love and I ATE IT UP. I couldn’t put this down.

What to know:
Small town romance
Single dad
Accidental marriage
Secret marriage

During the first book I was so excited to read Cole and Ginger’s book and this did not disappoint! I loved the banter between these two so much. Cole with his daughter was the best part of this book for sure. I highly recommend!

Cole and GInger have a secret- they're married. But it's not a secret that they have a spicy steamy relationship. This latest in the series of sorts is once again an easy read that's trope-y but fun. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC.

I didn't love the first book in this series but have seen so many rave reviews so I thought I would give this author another chance. Turns out her books just aren't for me. There wasn't enough meaningful dialogue for me and the plot moved too slowly. I found myself cringing in too my places for me to really love this one.

Thank you Dell for allowing me to be an early reader. All thoughts are my own.

oh 🥵 my 🥵 GOD 🥵!!!! Riding the High is the perfect combination of sweet, all-consuming love and dirty-talking, kinky sex. Cole and Ginger are so so amazing together. Their transition from sister’s best friend/brother to friends to best friends to lovers is so seamless you don’t notice the new title until it’s said. Their love is effortless and genuine.
Sweet, empathetic, adventurous, carefree Mabel makes the plot of the story so impactful. You want her to get that constant mom figure in the end. She brings an honesty that’s refreshing when our MCs are dancing around the topic and each other!
It was awesome seeing the CeCe/Nash and Ivy/Wade relationships continuation throughout Riding the High. Though I do believe the side characters make less appearances in this one compared to the others in the series.
I do believe the epilogue is my favorite part of this novel. Seeing the fruits of everyone’s love, labor, and third-act doubt/miscommunication is so satisfying. Overall Riding the High made me so happy and got me out of a month long book slump!!!

Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing Group, and Paisley Hope for the eARC copy of Riding the High in exchange for my honest review.

Riding the High by Paisley Hope

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 3/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, Dell, Netgalley, and the author for access to this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Riding the High was such a fun, cute read with depth and a wonderful happily ever after! This is the third novel in the Silver Pines Ranch series. It was super exciting to get a book for Cole and Ginger and to see the small town, found family aspect.

Cole, the MMC, is appointed Laurel Creek’s interim sheriff and wants to prove himself. He is a single dad who wants to establish roots for his young daughter. Ginger, the FMC, the daughter of a Kentucky congressman, wants to embrace adventure. Ginger and Cole play a game of truth or dare in Las Vegas and, after too many drinks, end up getting married. They decide to secretly stay married until Ginger’s father is reelected and Cole lands the sheriff job. Sparks continue to fly though and their accidental marriage seems very real, making them forget they were ever pretending.

Riding the High has a great storyline, a fantastic romance, and awesome character development. One of the best parts of this one though was definitely the beautiful, and sometimes complex, relationship between Cole, Ginger, and Mabel. The emotional depth, humor, banter, and chemistry between Cole and Ginger was absolutely amazing and it made their journey so special. The baseball rivalry was also so fun and the epilogue was perfection!

Overall, Riding the High is a fun, spicy, and enjoyable read with so many great tropes that fans of contemporary romance will definitely appreciate!

Tropes:
- Accidental marriage
- Marriage of convenience
- Single dad
- Best friend’s brother
- Friends to lovers
- Forced proximity

I am so sad to finish Riding the High but so freaking happy because I absolutely loved everything about it!

Ginger and Cole’s story was so perfect and I loved being able to get both POVs! It really made you fall in love with their characters and feel the yearning between them! I was so excited for their story after reading the first two books in the series and their story was absolutely everything!! The build up to their story was so freaking good! Their chemistry and banter was amazing!

I loved the relationship between Ginger and Mabel! It was so sweet and I loved Mabel’s character so much! Cole, Ginger, & Mable are such a great team!

Riding the High was absolutely incredible and this series will forever be one of my favorites!

Cowboy/small town romances are starting to feel a little similar to me. Not that it's bad, but I'm thinking I need something different to switch up the formula on these stories.

Cole and Ginger, they rock, my best book of the whole series, hands down.

I was looking forward to it for a long time and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. All that tension we saw in the other books finally came to life and it was the best of the best.

Paisley you did it again, thank you so much for this ride.

I really just love everything Paisley Hope writes.
Each book in this series has been getting better and better. The build up and anticipation from the first 2 books of seeing Cole and Ginger interact with each other left me wanting to see more of them, and this absolutely DELIVERED.

The moment I met Ginger & Cole in HTR I knew their story was going to be special. I loved being able to experience all the small moments that we didn’t get to see in HTR & TTH. Their relationship grew so easily because they established a friendship before. Their chemistry and banter was everything I could have wanted for these two. They were just so freaking hot together that I needed to fan myself several times 🤣

This book had me kicking my feet and swooning because of all the flirty and heartwarming moments between Cole & Ginger.

Friends to lovers is a top tier trope. I will die on this hill. Mix in banter and I'm a gonner. This has been my favorite of the series this far, and I loved the other two as well. I had a feeling Georgia would be my favorite.

Paisley writing keeps getting better and better! The pacing in this novel is perfect. We get lots of past memories for context and to build the story, and dual point of view really progresses the story and all the feels. This is definitely the spiciest yet but Daddy Cole is perfection.

Paisley Hope is quickly becoming one of my go to authors for a good small town romance. I'm a fan! Thank you Random House, Paisley Hope, and NetGalley for this ARC!

Cole Ashby is the newly appointed Sheriff in town and is a single dad to a beautiful little girl that I fell in love with from the beginning. Ginger Danforth is an English high school teacher and has been in the Ashby family for a long time because CeCe is her best friend. As a Not So Angel, she gets into all kinds of trouble and Cole is there to help her in all occasions. Cole and Ginger are secretly friends and get on each others nerves, so you could call them frien-enemies? What happens when they go to the combined bachelor/ bachelorette party for CeCe and Nash? Cole and Ginger get accidentally married in Vegas! It was only suppose to be a one night thing and they are supposed to get it annulled but with Cole's job and Ginger's father's reputation to think of, they can't.

They stayed married but Cole has his little girl to think of especially since this is the summer, so Ginger agrees to watch her for him. Nothing could go wrong... right?

When I first read Holding The Reins, I was so excited to read Cole and Ginger falling in love with one another! I mean a hot Sheriff, single dad, sometimes cowboy falling for the wild child that is Ginger sign me up! I can't tell you how many times I squealed, kicked my feet and just genuinely enjoyed myself going back into The Silver Pines Series! Ginger gave Cole a run for his money and Cole made me want to shake him! I mean he more than showed Ginger that he loved her for a long time. I mean the man was pinning for her for years, just ugh, swoon! I loved this swoony story! I need more and can't wait for the next book! I will patiently be over here. Thank you Paisley for this beautiful swoony read!

After receiving this ARC, I realized I needed to read the other 2 books from the series before getting started. I really liked the first 2, but honestly, this is my favorite story in the Silver Pines Ranch series. I absolutely loved the relationship that Ginger developed with Mable while being her nanny for the Summer. I also loved how easy everything was with Cole and Ginger. It felt like a breath of fresh air every time they were together. I love a good Friends to Lovers trope anytime but I think Paisley Hope did a fantastic job with Cole and Ginger. They still had fun witty banter while showing they truly found their person. I could not put this book down. This book gave me all of the feels. I was giddy, laughing, nervous, anxious and even teared up a little. This was a great book.

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!

Finally Ginger and Cole’s story! I have been waiting for their book ever since we got a glimpse of their sexual tension in book one. I loved reading how after a crazy night in Vegas where the two of them get hitched, they decide the best way to solve their problems is for Ginger to move in with Cole to be his live-in babysitter for the summer. I loved how good Ginger was with Cole’s daughter. The three of them just fit perfect perfectly. The way that he would say "my girls” had me swooning!!! I do wish that when the two of them got married in Vegas, that they didn’t sleep together since they were both drunk. I feel like we should’ve gotten to read their first time together. That being said, the story was a great one and I love how there was no third act breakup! Cole is one sexy book boyfriend in a sheriff uniform!
