Cole Ashby and Ginger Danforth, I always knew you were hiding something. 😉
In books 1 & 2 of this series they were the brother and her best friend that were always bickering, trading jabs and maybe flirting….yeah totally flirting 😍
I love this series so much and dare I say that single dad, Cole is my favorite. He and Ginger are absolute fire together but also, they make a pretty spectacular home and safe space for his daughter, Mabel. Their long history, secret friendship and now romance is fun, beautiful, steamy and really just everything you want in a book romance.
I adore this whole series and this book was perfection. 🩷

I am not always a fan of single dad romance, but I thought this one was great! Not only was the spice delicious in this one, but the fact that Cole was such a wonderful father and partner made me weak in the knees. Ginger was also a wonderful character and I loved that she is quick with a comeback. The tension in this book was great, the steamy scenes were just right and Cole's dirty talk had me blushing.
If you are a fan of Elsie Silver's western romances, I think you would also enjoy this series.
Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine | Dell for access to the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I knew I would like this story when I saw it was an accidental wedding in Vegas. I just love it when an unplanned marriage happens and the feelings cannot be fought anymore. That is exactly how it was for Cole and Ginger. I absolutely adored watching their love story bloom after years of fighting it. Honestly though, I think their timing was just perfect.

I knew I would like this story when I saw it was an accidental wedding in Vegas. I just love it when an unplanned marriage happens and the feelings cannot be fought anymore. That is exactly how it was for Cole and Ginger. Ginger is so much like me that reading her POVS were giving me life, especially when it comes to her teasing. I love how much she loved to pick on Cole and kept it fun and on your toes. She is my kind of girl through and through. Cole was such a perfect girl dad, and the love he shows his girls was melt worthy. Not to mention when he goes al protective mode. HOT. I absolutely adored watching their love story bloom after years of fighting it. Honestly though, I think their timing was just perfect.

SCREAMING over Ginger and Cole.
I fell in love with Ginger and Cole as individuals right from the start of this series and then as it went on, all I could hope for was for them to be together!
This was truly such a heartwarming, comforting, sweet story. The character building for these 2 from the start of the series is amazing. I really enjoy getting to know characters deeply so I can feel everything that is going on in the book within me through the characters perspectives. The storyline and plot are amazing. Single dad is one of my favorite tropes and Cole is just next level sexy single perfect dad. Their longtime friendship really sets this book apart from other accidental marriage books. The way that they truly care about each other is felt so deeply and the little mix of scenes to back in time really bring everything they feel for each other together. Perfect amount of spice that's done SO WELL and it fit both the characters personalities perfectly. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I cheered, I smiled wide, ALL the feels!!

Riding the High by Paisley Hope is the perfect mix of small-town charm, accidental marriage chaos, and slow-burn romance that sneaks up on you in the best way. If you love the oops, we got married in Vegas trope with a side of found family, this one is a must-read.
Cole Ashby has just landed the job of sheriff, and he’s determined to prove he’s the steady, responsible man the town—and his young daughter—needs. Ginger Danforth, a congressman’s daughter and elementary school teacher, has spent her whole life trying to keep up perfect appearances. But one impulsive game of truth or dare in Vegas later, and suddenly, these long-time friends wake up married.
The setup alone is golden, but the real magic happens when they decide to stay married—for reasons (a.k.a. their reputations). What starts as a temporary, keep-it-secret arrangement turns into something much harder to deny when Ginger steps in to help care for Cole’s daughter. The forced proximity, the undeniable chemistry, the way they both start to forget this was ever supposed to be fake—it’s all so, so good.
Paisley Hope does such a great job of making this romance feel real. Cole is the ultimate devoted dad and protector (hello, swoon), and Ginger’s journey from rule-follower to risk-taker is so satisfying. If you love small-town romance, single-dad softness, and a marriage of convenience that turns into so much more, Riding the High will have you hooked from page one.

Amazing!! This was my absolute favorite book of the three in the series. I wanted Cole and Ginger to get together from the start. The accidental marriage and long time friends trip is absolutely fabulous!! The sass of Ginger and the attitude of Cole mesh so well together. I was laughing throughout this book. The family aspect of this book, as well as the other two books is clearly present and wonderful. The dynamic between these two characters is great. I loved this beyond measure!! As much as I love all the characters in the first three, I do hope Liv gets her story and happy ever after too.

Read this in one sitting because it was so addictive!! I’ve been on the arc team since holding the reins and Paisleys writing keeps getting better and better! This was so much fun and so easy to get immersed in,
Both main characters were so believable and you can truly see the connection between the two. And knowing the other side characters and how they interact in the story without being overbearing or flat is such a huge bonus.
Cole and Ginger will always have a place in my heart <3

4.5⭐️ so excited I got my hands on this ARC thank you Dell/ Ballentine.
I have been anxiously waiting for Ginger and Cole’s story and it did not disappoint! I love her relationship with Mabel and the bond they all share! A really got take on secret friends to lovers story 🤍

Each book in the Silver Pines Ranch book keeps getting better and better! Seeing Ginger and Cole interact in the first two books had me panting for their own book. I've given all three books in the series 5 stars! Paisley Hope has quickly become a favorite author of mine. She writes with the perfect amount of banter, heart, sass, and spice. This series pulls on your heartstrings while making you laugh
Cole Ashby is trying to survive being a single parent and the new town Sheriff. He's known for being a player but he wants to prove that he's taking the job seriously. Ginger Danforth is tired of being the perfect Congressman's daughter. She wants to let loose and getting under Cole Ashby's skin is the perfect way to do it. What the town doesn't know is that Cole and Ginger have been secretly leaning on each other for years. After a drunken Las Vegas wedding, Cole and Ginger find themselves in a predicament. They need to keep their situation secret from loved ones until the marriage can be annulled. What happens when the time for annulment comes and both parties want to keep on being married?
I heart Cole Ashby but the main star of this book is Ginger. She is so fiery and has the best personality. I just love the dynamic between the two. The push and pull along with fantastic banter. Ginger has such a special relationship with Cole's daughter, Mabel. At this point, I would read anything Paisley Hope writes. She gets me to fall in love with tropes I've never been interested in before.
Tropes: accidental marriage, married in Vegas, secret friends, small town, single father, nanny/boss, family series, secret pining, forced proximity, playboy hero, complicated family dynamics, dirty talk, baby mama drama, "my wife", Brooklyn 99 references

I loved this book! I feel like it’s definitely the best out of the three.
I loved Ginger and Cole! I loved how they really showed up for another and how they put Mabel first in all of their decisions. I read this book in less than a day and it just ticked every box for me.
And honestly..that’s how you do an epilogue!

I’ve loved this whole series but this is by far my favorite. The banter between Cole and Ginger is amazing and let’s be honest who doesn’t like a single dad romance. I can not wait for the next book in the series.

Another fun cowboy romance!! I have eaten up the rest of the series before this and already knew this would be the same

Small town vibes and lots of fun tropes. This book is your classic fluffy, spicy, romance! A great quick read when you need something to pull you out of a slump or just get through in one day! This book is trope heavy and very similar to other small town books so if that’s your vibe you will love this! Didn’t get very attatched to the characters or story in this one but certainly a breeze to read!

I was new to this series & these characters - Hope swept me off my feet! I fell right into this couple’s world and was rooting for them so quickly! I loved the mature topics and the unique challenges - making the ending even better! Forget a 3rd act breakup this is how friends-to-lovers is DONE!

This was a cute read. They’re always tension and banter this is one of my favorite authors and I love it

Paisley Hope writes the absolute best epilogues for all her books. This book was truely amazing. Cole and Gingers friendship turned romance is hypnotic. For being “friends”, Law Daddy sure has a dirty mouth on him and Ginger is a firecracker! Huge thanks to NetGalley for the approved request.

This is my favorite read from Paisley Hope and I’m so happy about that. Riding the High was friends to lovers perfection with a great cast of characters!

My husband and I are currently rewatching Brooklyn 99 so reading all of the jokes/quotes made me so happy!
I think this is my fav of the series so far! Iam always excited for the couple who have been antagonizing each other throughout the whole series. I loved that we not only get the relationship of Ginger and Cole, but also Ginger's relationship with Mabel.
Was I maybe a little disappointed that there wasn't an explosive "my wife" moment? But we got plenty of my wife texts, so I'll take it.

5 🌟
Spice: open door
I have been waiting for this one since their first interaction in book one. I just knew these two would have such a fun ride. Their banter is some of my favorite I've read in a while. I love their relationship and the way they have been mutually pining for each other, please! This one has so many of my favorite tropes rolled up to make such an incredible book.
