Get ready to swoon with “Riding The High,” the sizzling third installment in the Silver Pines Ranch series! When straight-laced sheriff Cole Ashby and free-spirited congresswoman’s daughter Ginger Danforth wake up married after a wild Vegas weekend, they strike a deal to keep their nuptials under wraps. But as these opposites are forced together, their pretend marriage starts feeling all too real. This steamy small-town cowboy romance delivers forbidden love, fake marriage tropes, and enough heat to make your kindle melt! Perfect for fans of spicy contemporary romance who love their cowboys with a side of scandal.

If you love an adorable love story and a cowboy, Paisley Hope is the author to turn to! She just writes the most darling, adorable and relatable books! Absolutely loved it

I HAD READ THE FIRST BOOK AND THIS WAS EVEN BETTER. HOOKED FROM THE START. lOVED IT SO MUCH. MUST READ. GET IT TODAY.

Thank you to Paisley Hope, Random House, and Netgalley for this arc! Riding the High was another great story featuring our favorite family and friends of Silver Pines Ranch! This book focuses on Ginger and Cole, which I'd been waiting because of all the tension and banter felt between them in the first two books! While their story is less cowboy romance and really focuses on friends to lovers, it was still just as good as the previous books. Cole and Ginger have been friends for awhile and always felt an attraction to one another. But it never progressed from their due to Ginger being younger and best friend's with Cole sisters. But the attraction always simmered and finally sparks years later when they find themselves married after a night in Vegas with the crew. From their Cole and Ginger decide a temporary solution to make it work just for the summer and the love story unfolds from their. I really liked how Paisley showed that they had an established friendship prior to the story-one deeper than us readers may have ever guessed. I felt like the foundation of their friendship made their banter and chemistry natural. One of my favorite things about Paisley's writing is how the characters feel authentic and relatable. I also like how within each book theirs tender moments, funny moments, and some very spicy moments. This was a fun, sweet and fast read!

I literally read this book in one sitting bc after the first page I couldn’t put my kindle down, this is what a true friends to lovers done right looks like

This was absolutely my top favorite out of all of her books. If you’re in your spicy modern ranch era, this is perfect! Chefs kiss. Paisley is the queen of catchy dialogue and amazing characters.

I LOVED this book! I've enjoyed this entire series but Cole and Ginger are probably my new favorites. I loved the progression of best friend's brother, to best friend, to surprise wedding - such a fun take on the marriage of convenience trope. Their banter and chemistry has been great since the first book but I didn't expect to love their story this much! Can't wait for the next book in this series.

I loved the first two books in this series, and this one totally held up. It’s less of a cowboy romance but gives a great love story (a little swoony, a little emotional, very spicy) and felt like all of the happiness I needed. The long backstory between FMC/MMC made the quick love feel natural, and it was heartwarming to watch this little family grow.

“Eyes here, baby. I’ve waited years to give in to this. I want all your attention now.” 🤍
Pack your bags babe, we’re going back to Silver Pines Ranch. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if Paisley writes it I’ll read it. Riding the High is probably easily my favorite of the Silver Pines Ranch series this far. I’ve waited so long for Cole & Ginger’s story, and they stole my heart. There has been so much anticipation for their story and book, and it did not disappoint. Cole Cole Cole.. what a man. 😮💨 That mouth! And let’s not forget about Ginger! She’s sassy and a little smartass-y. She has a comeback for everything, she knows what she wants and deserves, and she’s a strong ass female main character. Paisley really nailed friends to lovers, which doesn’t always land for me. 🤍🥹 But then again, she never misses.
Thank you so much Paisley Hope, Random House, and Netgalley for the arc. I absolutely fell so in love with Cole, Ginger, and Mabel. I cannot wait for my preorder to come in so I can shelve this alongside the rest of my Paisley Hope collection.
Riding the High releases May 6, 2025 and is now available for preorder on Amazon. 🤍

Thank you so much to the publisher for this ARC!
I have been so excited for more in this series! Cole is Ginger’s best friend’s brother. They grew up together and were there for each other. When they were teens, Ginger had a big crush and kissed Cole. He turned her down. After he became a father with the not so nice Gemma, he relied on Ginger’s friendship. When the marriage was failing, he always called Ginger.
After his divorce, Cole became pretty promiscuous but always watched Brooklyn 99 with Ginger. After they accidentally get married in Vegas, they have to figure out how to protect their reputations. They decide to hide the marriage and Ginger will stay at Cole’s for the summer to help with his daughter. Mabel was very cute and loved Ginger.
When the two begin hookin up, feelings definitely get involved.
Ginger and Cole’s marriage is supposed to be for only the summer, but will it last forever?
I don’t love OW drama, especially when they’re the mother of the child. I also felt the secret of the marriage went on too long. I’m excited for what’s next in this series.

I’ve been excited to read Cole and Ginger’s story for a while and let me tell you.. this book does NOT disappoint. Paisley Hope is easily becoming one of my favorite authors. Riding the High has left me with such a big smile on my face. Cole and Ginger have had so much chemistry since the first time we’ve met them and add in an accidental marriage, you have a recipe for a good read. Their genuine friendship that was revealed in this book and the longing they both felt towards each other were both shown to the reader right at the beginning and really made you root for them. I loved the connection built between Ginger and Mabel as well. I can’t wait to see what’s next in this world!

Riding the High by Paisley Hope is a wonderful addition to the Silver Pines Ranch series. As someone new to this author, I focused on her writing style, particularly how she develops her characters and settings. I’m happy to say that her writing is both engaging and enjoyable. The story moves at a fast pace, keeping me entertained throughout. Since the characters appeared in previous books in the series, I was already inclined to like them, and this installment did not disappoint.
Cole and Ginger were so fun to read about, and watching their growth as characters was truly wonderful. I especially appreciated how the dynamic between Ginger and Cole's daughter evolved over time. It added depth to the story and made their interactions feel authentic. Overall, this book is a fun and heartwarming addition to Paisley Hope’s Silver Pines Ranch series.

I read it in a day! I’ve been waiting for Cole and Ginger’s story since Nash and Cece’s was over. I love how there was so much more to their friendship going on behind the scenes in the previous two books that came to light in this one. I’m so happy Mable finally has a mom she can count on now! Fingers crossed there will be a fourth book in this series because I need to know why Olivia had bite marks on her neck 😂

The couple we’ve all been waiting for! Ginger and Cole were such a simple, sweet love story about friends becoming more in an unlikely way. The chemistry between them has been noticeable since book one, but they certainly didn’t disappoint whatsoever. I’m rating this book 3.75 stars, purely because I rated Holding the Reins 4 and nothing can beat that one for me (sorry!) But I really did love this book a lot.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book! I will say the lack of chapter numbers was a bit strange, but something I could get over and did not ruin the story. That also goes for the minor capitalization and punctuation errors. I loved Mabel's and Ginger's relationship and even wanted more! The epilogue 7 years in the future definitely helped to imagine what their world turned out to be but I just wanted more! I wanted to see everything from more of their day to day to even Mabel finding out she will be a big sister. But all that being said I really did enjoy this book! Cole + Ginger = <3
PS - I just hope there are more books in the series! Love the little community in them!

This was such a fun read! I had an amazing time reading this! A detailed review is already up on goodreads and i'll be posting another one on my bookstagram tomorrow!

This book is yet another great one from author Paisley Hope.
True friends to lovers story, single dad troupe, secret accidental marriage, secret pinning. Fabulous. I devoured every word like it was my dinner.
The kids add extra layer to the story. Kids in books are always hilarious.
The story is so good. I love how the MMC and FMC are completely oblivious as to how they feel about each other but everyone else sees it. Until they so see it and sparks fly.
5/5 stars
3/5 spice (But dang was it good spice!)

This was my first Paisley Hope book, and it did not disappoint. I was worried about jumping right into the end (or it could be middle-there might be another book?) of a series and had no problems getting sucked right into the Silver Pines world.
If friends to lovers, best friends’ brother, or single dad, is your jam then this should be a good one for you. I’m sure you could add more but that’s the meat of it. You’ve got Cole, the town sheriff and single dad and Ginger, a teacher and best friend to Cole’s sister. They’ grew up together but became better friends when Cece, (Cole’s sister) went away to college. If one of them needed an advice, a ride, anything- they were always there to support each other. Fast forward to present day- a group trip to Vegas for a for Cece’s wedding, changes everything.

“I know without a doubt that when my lungs pull in their last breath, my final thoughts will be of you”
yes yes yes! this is my favorite Silver Pines novel so far, which is saying a lot because I LOVED the first two. I adore everything about Ginger, Cole, and — of course — Mabel! all the anticipation that was built-up in the previous novels absolutely delivers in Riding the High! and the spice y’all?! yes, please! Paisley Hope just gets better and better!
