Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down, Ginger and Cole’s secret friendship is one of my favorites where they aren’t rival families, cause why is there friendship a secret, that’s just how they want it and I love it. I also loved the truth or dare game at the beginning of the book, reminds me of one of my favorite books, and so I was addicted to this book from the start. Cole is a single dad and running for county sheriff so he keeps his life clean well until he gets secretly married in Vegas to Ginger and then they do what they can to put on a show that Ginger is helping with Mabel during her summer off, and so she lives with them as well.

Ginger has been in love with Cole for as long as she can remember but she does so well with making sure her feelings aren’t obvious and it’s so much so that until she hears Cole say his feelings a million times that she finally starts to believe they can become something more. They have such a good friendship, they understand each other, don’t expect more than the other can give, and I don’t see any disrespect between them so this was a great friends to lovers that’s so believable that these two really do love each other, and took the long way to get there.

I can’t wait to see what comes next from Paisley Hope because I’ve loved all three books I’ve read from her so far!

5 juicy stars!!! This is Paisley Hope’s BEST yet!!!! I love a single dad romance and this ticks so many favorites. Reformed playboy, former hockey player and cowboy. Grumpy x sunshine. Controlled x Chaos. I have been intrigued by these two from book 1 and it did NOT disappoint. I am so in love with the family dynamic and Cole’s daughter. I love this sloppy night of a Vegas wedding ALL SO SHE WOULD SLEEP WITH HIM!!!!! The man is down bad, props to him for that. I loved the slight drama with his job as well and her father. All in love, great amount of tension and drama wasn’t too distracting from the plot of the story.

𝗠𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦: It was so nice to be back in Silver Pines again & I loved getting to read all about Cole & Ginger’s love story! Ginger is a freaking hoot & I want to be part of the Not Angels because I love every single one of the female characters in this series. Cole is your overly protective single dad who has rules in place & Ginger comes in breaking allll of them with her fun little self. Ginger & Cole both balance each other out so nicely & truly bring out the best in one another. Mabel (Mabes) was the cutest kid ever & I loved the connection she had with both of them. I absolutely loved getting to experience Cole & Ginger’s journey that encompassed such friendship, love & respect!

Silver Pines Ranch Series: Book 3
18+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️

This was such a fun and sexy book, I ate it all the way up! I loved both Ginger and Cole so much! I was immediately hooked from the beginning with Ginger and Cole’s flirty banter, undeniable chemistry and tension, and secret pining for one another.

Ginger has always had a thing for her best friend’s brother, Cole, but when Cole rejects her, they remain friends who never dare to cross that line again. That is, until one crazy night in Vegas, that leaves them with memories of a steamy night together and wedding rings on their fingers when they wake up.

When reality hits, Ginger and Cole are forced to spend more time together. Cole has to navigate his new position as the town sheriff, being a single dad, and pretending with the one woman that’s always drove him crazy.

Aside from the sexy spice, I loved the way Cole and Ginger could always count on one another as friends and always knew exactly what the other needed in each moment. They seemed to calm each other like no one else could because of their friendship first. 💕

If you enjoy small town, single dad, best friend’s brother, and dirty talk that will make you blush, go read this book!!! 🔥

Thank you Random House Publishing Group and NetGalley for this ARC!

This MMC was plucked straight from my dreams & the FMC is me, I am Ginger. #daddyissues

Going into this book without reading the blurb was the best thing I could have possibly done. I was SHOCKED. I already knew Cole & Ginger’s story was going to be my favorite (the childhood friends to lovers that pick and fight all the time is my favorite).

Cole is SUCH an idyllic MMC. Small town single dad that does everything for everybody in his circle. He was given a shit hand when he got pregnant with his now ex-wife, Gemma. Even thought it was unexpected, he strapped down and became the best man for his daughter despite how awful Gemma was. At the start of this book he is about to be sworn in as sheriff and endure every work day with his deputy sheriff, his ex-wife’s new boyfriend.

Throughout the years he and Ginger have gotten close. Ginger being CeCe’s best friend (Cole’s little sister) they have kept their friendship a secret. Ginger has always had a crush on Cole, but after a late night teenage misunderstanding, they never broach the subject again. That is until they find themselves waking up in a Las Vegas hotel room with wedding bands and precariously ✨sore✨ bodies.

This story follows Ginger and Cole as they navigate their accidental marriage and possible divorce all while pretending nothing is going on in the political public eye. Cole ends up needing a nanny for the summer & Ginger just so happens to be free.

When I tell you Daddy Cade is no competition, I am being genuine. Cole has a filthy mouth and knows how to put Gingers sass in its place. Their relationship journey is tension filled and beautiful. Nothing is more heart wrenching than best friends to lovers and you cannot change my mind. Also, the tender moments between Cole, Ginger, and Mabel (his daughter) are adorable and I may have shed quite a few tears.

I have enjoyed the Silver Pines series and could not wait for Ginger and Cole’s story! I knew from Ginger’s personality in the other books that this one would be entertaining and it definitely was!
Mabel is precious and watching the bond between her and Ginger grow was so sweet.
Over all- I loved the storyline and characters. Where the book fell short for me was the spice- it was just too much and I definitely felt like it took away from what could’ve been a beautiful love story.
Overall it’s a sweet read with great characters and if you like a LOT of explicit scenes in your books, you will love this one!

This whole series has been amazing! I read the first 2 books in the series as ARC’s so I was excited to get this one. Paisley Hope has become one of my favorite authors.
Cole and Ginger’s story was top tier and by far my favorite in the series so far. Paisley you got the friends to lovers on point and did not disappoint with this story. I highly recommend this book! Thank you for the opportunity to have this as an ARC! Can’t wait to see what comes next!

This book was so perfect! I love the plot and the characters had me laughing out loud and in my feelings!

The big secret was great and I didn’t feel anxious about people finding out which helped me enjoy this book even more. I was able to pay attention to the characters and not worry if they were gonna get caught.

Cole was amazing and I love his character! He had a lot of depth! Ginger was one of my favorite characters because I could kind of relate to her! She had me laughing out loud with some of the things she said, and she was genuinely funny. She also seemed very sure of herself, even when she was in doubt.

This friend to lovers novel is so so good and I recommend it so much!

Thank you to the publisher, NetGalley, and the author for this ARC! All thoughts are my own!

Have I ever said how much I love a Drunk Vegas Wedding! So many fun memories (just kidding you don't remember anything). I love love love Ginger and Cole! Love!

The banter, the secret friendship, the secret mutual pining, these 2 had everything going on and I ate it up! I love how whipped he was for her.

There was so much more to Ginger then I thought, and I loved learning more and more about her!

My erk, her refusing to believe the words he is telling her, and her saying I don't know where is head is at. We do honey, your his! It may be in moments of passion but still pretty true!

I loved seeing the whole crew back together! I am so excited to see what comes next for them.

Riding the High reminded me exactly why I’m a sucker for a good friends-to-lovers romance! The relationship between Cole and Ginger was so fun right from the start, but the tension underneath definitely had you on your seat waiting for what was to come!
Ginger is the queen of playful sass, and I loved how she constantly poked at Cole just to get a reaction. Their banter was SO GOOD. Underneath it was years of trust, affection, and feelings they’ve been too scared to admit and watching it all come to the surface… UGH. My HEART.
And then there's sweet little Mabel. Seeing Cole, Ginger, and Mabel form this beautiful little team had me grinning like a goof one second and wiping my eyes the next. I mean, team Daddy’s Girls, COME ON! The bond between Ginger and Mabel felt so pure and real, and the way Ginger talked about loving her was everything. I loved how Ginger knew Cole and Mabel were a package deal and it just made her want to be apart of their team that much more.
And when Cole and Ginger finally admit their feelings, they don’t tiptoe—they JUMP. Their love was deep, honest, and sooo worth the wait. My chest was full the whole time.
Also… I did NOT know I had a thing for small-town sheriff romances, but THANK YOU to Paisley Hope for unlocking my LAW DADDY era. The spice? Top tier. The emotion? Off the charts. The cozy small-town vibes with the feels of a lifetime? Perfection.

4.5 ⭐️ Paisley Hope has done it againnnn! With the glimpses of Cole and Ginger we’ve gotten throughout the series so far, I was SO excited to have their story and it doesn’t disappoint. Their banter, the emotions, the relationship development with not only Ginger and Cole but also with Mabel?! My hearttt 💜 The dynamic and progression of the three of them becoming a family was written beautifully. Bonus: The spice was SPICING (the handcuffs? Come onnnnn now 😮‍💨)! Cole’s dirty talk had me weeeeeak 😩

Cole and Ginger’s story was heartwarming, fun, and so damn delicious! Their story is my new favorite – their friendship was so real and authentic and stole my heart from the start. The tension in this book was mouthwatering, I could not put this book down. These two together were explosive. Her nickname for him is so damn good! The spice in this book is exquisite! I’m still riding the high from this book! The last two sentences, my gosh! SO DAMN GOOD!

I loved catching up with the crew of Silver Pines and loved that they played such a huge role in this story. If you are following the series, you are in for such a treat!

I picked up Riding the High expecting a lighthearted accidental-marriage romance—and it absolutely delivered on the fun. But what I didn’t expect was how emotionally grounded and quietly beautiful the story would be.

This book is a swoony, emotionally rich romance that blends small-town charm, accidental chaos, and deep character chemistry into an unputdownable read.

Cole Ashby is everything I love in a romance hero: steady, protective, and deeply devoted to his daughter. The fact that he’s trying to prove himself as the new sheriff while navigating this wild, unexpected marriage makes him even more endearing. And Ginger? I loved her. A congressman’s daughter with a rebellious streak, she’s torn between the image she's supposed to maintain and the life she secretly craves. Watching her unravel those layers was incredibly satisfying.

Paisley does a brilliant job balancing heartfelt moments with playful tension. The dynamic between Cole and Ginger feels real and earned—the kind of connection that simmers under the surface even as they pretend to keep it under wraps. Watching Cole juggle fatherhood, public responsibility, and his very not-so-platonic feelings for his accidental wife makes for both laugh-out-loud and lump-in-the-throat moments.

This isn't just a romance. It's about trust, vulnerability, and what it means to build something lasting in a world that’s full of reasons to walk away. The stakes feel personal, the emotion is genuine, and by the end, you’ll be rooting not just for the couple—but for the quiet, stubborn hope that love can show up when you least expect it and change everything.

OOOOOO MY GOODNESS... COLE IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

I devoured this book in one day, nothing could stop me from putting this book down. The friendship between Cole and Ginger is full of trust, banter, and tension. Paisley did an amazing job of showcasing the relationship Mabel has with Cole and also Ginger. I also enjoyed the fact that the morning after, we only got a few details of the wedding night. Those details were perfect and spicy.

This is probably the first book where I love the nickname son both sides, Vixen and Law Daddy. I enjoyed the fact that Cole has always called Ginger Vixen. I bookmarked so many pages that I want to go back to later on, especially since the book is also in audiobook form. I can't wait to listen to this book!

5/5 stars

The last Ashby sibling's book was by far my favorite! Cole and Ginger's attraction has been blatantly obvious since the 1st book of the series. Ginger is our HILARIOUS party girl and gets her kicks by annoying Cole, the new sheriff.

After a trip to Vegas ends with both Ginger and Cole accidentally married, both secretly choose to stay married for personal reasons. These two kept me laughing and swooning! Paisley knows how to write romance!

“You can lie to yourself all you want, but the only way I’m letting you come tonight is if you admit the truth and tell me this soaking cunt is all mine.”

Thank you to the author and NG for the ARC!

Well yall, Paisley put out another banger and this might be my fave of the series so far.

I absolutely LOVE a single dad and a hot nanny trope and this one was HOT but also so sweet.

Cole is the local sheriff and a single dad to Mabel who is 8 years old. He and Ginger have been friends for years but they both have a thing for each other.

Cole is known for being the local playboy, never wanting to settle down since he left Mabels mom. He's afraid to get attached to anyone and would rather have his fun and move on.

Ginger has been a constant in Coles life. Always there for him. They know each other better than anyone else in their lives.
A trip to Vegas to celebrate Coles brothers turns into so much more- like accidentally married more.

Needless to stay what happens in Vegas comes home with Cole and Ginger and they have to figure out how to handle this problem.

I enjoyed Cole and Gingers story so much. The friends to lovers, reformed playboy, single dad/nanny tropes just hit in the BEST way. Also, Mabel is the cutest little girl and the bond she forms with Ginger just absolutely melted my heart.

The picnic scene and the swimming. SO FREAKIN HOT.
Ginger is a spicy red head and I just love her character so much. She gives Cole a run for his money and isn't afraid to tell him what she wants and how she wants it.

Riding the High is out NOW! It's available on KU as well!
Thank you so much to Paisley and @penguinrandomhouse for the ARC and opportunity to read and review this book.
I absolutely loved it.

As always, thank you so much NetGalley for the incredible opportunity of receiving this arc. I will forever be thankful for this. 🫶🏻

Rating: 3.5 ✰

➼ I really enjoyed this one, and I want to say that if you want to pick this book up you don’t need to read the other ones because I didn’t and it didn’t make anything confusing. But if you do, you will probably get more the dynamic of the friend group, small town and the family. I will probably pick the first two books eventually because I want to read more about these characters.

➼ I really like Ginger, she was feisty and sassy but had depth to her. She reminded me a little bit of Willa from Chestnut Springs. I also enjoyed Cole and how he was such a good dad and always put Mabel first no matter what. They had chemistry and tension from the start and I liked that we got their friendship but at the same time since they got married in Vegas at like the first 10% or something, I feel like we didn’t get to see more of their friendship before it became lusty (but that can also be because I hadn’t read the first books). This is a spicy book, as soon as they crossed that line they were doing it almost every other chapter which I don’t mind my smutty books but there were times that it was too much because they used that as a mechanism instead of talking about their feelings.

➼Overall it was a fun spicy time and I can’t wait to read more about this characters and the families.
