Ahhhhhhh finally Seojun and Jugyeong get together, it's everything I've been waiting for!!!! There are struggles and I felt so much for Seojun and his struggles with work and trying to provide for Jugyyeong, even though all she wants is him!! There is definitely some miscommunication happening but I know my loves will figure it out!!! Honestly so scared they won't be endgame!

I'm not a big fan of miscommunication and there's a lot of that here and just lack of communication altogether that would be more suited to younger characters like middle school aged. I was happy that she starts to date Seojun but then we see them have even fewer interactions and of those they do have, there's not much substance. I'll be continuing with this series but I hope there is more going on in the next volume!

This is my favorite of the physical releases. Volume 6 focuses more on Jugyeong finding a place for herself outside high school, falling back into the makeup world, and trying to sort out dating and relationships. While she faces that self-discovery drama, Seojun is facing hardships related to his mother's health and having to become the family's provider. Can they help support each other, or will they both continue to shy away from sharing the "hard" secrets? For those of us who love Seojun, he is heavily a part of this volume, which follows episodes 64-79.

Yaongyi writes fun female characters. You don't understand the choke hold the fmc had on me as a kid. The beginning of this series was so fun, seeing the author use their strengths/experiences to give their characters life. You know people like this in real life. Her character work is something to be studied.

The main fmc when she is not dealing with the romance plot lines is very fun. She is real. She does makeup, explains why she does what she does, has friends, makes mistakes, etc. She is her own person. It feels like she could be your friend in real life. You would trust her with her makeup. You get annoyed at her, you know why she makes the choices she does.

However, once the fmc is dealing with the romance aspect, things get a bit bland. Now, this is a romance manga. We all know that means there are going to be misunderstandings, jealous characters, love triangles, etc. I just wish the author did more with it. Her character work is advanced. People respond to her characters. I wish there was more nuance with her plot.

It is clear the author has that spark and grasp on what makes people love to read their work. I loved this series growing up. I look forward to seeing her career going forward and hope she continues to write romance manga. ❤️ I think she would be great at writing romance movies and shows too.

Read the series. It is fun. The plotline can drag on, and you will be able to guess a lot of where the plot will go. But you will have fun with the characters the whole time.

I really need to start watching K-dramas because if they are this dramatic, I think I'll like them. TRUE BEAUTY Volume Six is filled with the drama of the other volumes, but we finally see the relationship between Jugyeong and Seojun begin. They are so cute! I still think Jugyeong is the only one who cares about her makeup, but it was nice to see other sides of both characters. I'm very curious to see where the cliffhanger will take us!

I read this series long ago on Webtoon and was so happy to see that the series has been published physically! I love the humor, the art style, the drama, and the romance between the characters.

I adore this story. I love the main characters and getting to see them growing and changing is so satisfying. And honestly, them finally getting together in this one is so exciting!!! 🥹 this entire series is so good, absolutely recommend!

I’ve been waiting for this part of the story! I love these two together! The art is beautiful as always and I just fell in love with the characters all over again.

I am definitely loving this series! I appreciate always having the next volume available on NetGalley to read before it comes out. The story is very sweet and I love how the art changes so much when the main character is presenting herself with makeup and without. Welcome back to the world of True Beauty! If you have not read the previous 6 volumes and this is your first time hearing about this supper cute webtoon graphic novel, I suggest you run and pick them up!

I have followed along with True Beauty for a little over a year now and I absolutely love this story! It’s such a fun light graphic novel that reads like a k-drama. The graphics are absolutely beautiful. If you like Kdrama’s you will love True Beauty! It is a very easy read and throughout the story it has been suspenseful at times, and an absolute page turner. Every single time I finish a volume I’m wishing the next one was already out!

Absolutely one of the best volumes for True Beauty! I love watching the characters grow individually and move from friends to lovers. They are realistic with their struggles which makes them so relatable. I will always recommend this series and so glad it is finally in print.

I love True Beauty and was addicted to it when it was on Webtoons. I am so happy and excited that it is being released as volumes for people to collect.

Volume six is when Seojun and Im Jugyeon finally get together. You get to see the struggles they both go through as they navigate their new relationship status and how they both care about each other in their own ways. It’s so cuteeeeeee I love it so much.

I love this story and the artwork. I enjoyed the live action Kdrama and was excited to find this graphic novel to fill in the gaps of the drama.

YES!!!! Ok I am so hooked into this series! I don’t want it to end ever! I love it. The illustrations are also so amazing. Sometimes I just leaf through it to enjoy them.

I love how the way the characters and relationships feel realistic. I love the added almost make tutorials. Adds another layer to this graphic novel. I’m here for the long haul. If you knew to this series jump in! It’s worth it.

Rereading these webtoons have me kicking my feet! Coincidentally, I’m actually rewatching this kdrama on Viki right now and they did so well with the casting because everyone, especially Han Seojun, looks just like the characters in the manga!

This part of the story is my favorite because I love how Seojun and Im Jugyeong finally got together. Their relationship was more natural to me compared to her and Lee Suho because I think since her and Seojun had a better friendship than the former.

I do feel bad how Han Seojun constantly felt like he had to work multiple jobs to provide for Im Jugyeong when all she wanted was him. I hated how small he felt in these scenes especially with the rude lady with the trash!

Really enjoying this series so far!
The characters are funny, especially our main female protagonist, and I love how funny she is! The art is so nice and I really need to watch the live adaption of this!

I love this series. It may not have the message I normally love from a book (that you have to put on an act to be liked), I’m hoping that the end of it all (once I get there) will justify the rest of the series.

This volume is when we get the beginning of the relationship between Jugyeong and Seojun. I love them together, even though I may love the love triangle even more, so I’m going to coast through the next couple volumes happy.

This story-line and artwork are always so well done and beautiful.
Every time there is a new volume released I tell myself to take it easy and savor it, only to binge it immediately the first chance I get.

After watching the Korean drama adaptation, I am reading True Beauty for the first time. So far, it's been a decent read and I am excited to keep reading. If you haven't experienced this series, I would recommend the K-drama as it might be the superior experience. However, if you are a fan of the drama or not, the webtoon is still pretty good. The physical releases of these are pretty nice as well.
