Dark fae politics, secret societies, and Joy trying not to lose herself while juggling romance and responsibility. It’s very “hidden world drama” with lots of moving pieces, sometimes overwhelming, sometimes deliciously twisty. The romance simmers, the stakes rise, and the writing keeps that dreamy, eerie vibe.
If you liked Indelible, this one deepens the lore and ups the danger, though it can get tangled in its own mythology. Still, it delivers on creepy magic + messy teen emotions.

I did the mistake of reading this series not realizing that the book is part 2 of a series, but it was so great that now i need to read book one. It was a little hard to follow with out book one, cant be read as a stand alone. I have never read a fairy story either and this one did not disappoint as my first and probably not my last. I cant wait to now read book 1 and the rest of the series.

First, let me start by saying this book was better than the first. My love for the twixt and ink and even joy, who is my favorite character though she annoys me sometimes (which I will explain later), has grown a million times in Invisible. This wonderful sequel surpassed all my expectations and makes me want more! NOW!! :)

This book has it all, adventure assassins and of course the person that just wants it all. I loved this book, the writing is great and the plot is perfection! Author Dawn Metcalf did a great job with this one.
