This anthology is truly a breath of springtime air. I was excited to read these novellas by one of my favorite authors, Fern Michaels, and Lori Foster and Carolyn Brown who I've read and enjoyed recently. All three stories are family oriented and full of emotions, romance, and HEAs (of course). I highly recommend this sweet book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Lilac Time is the latest anthology from three of the loveliest authors in the industry. All three stories are a breath of fresh air. There is definitely something for everyone here. While I enjoyed all of the stories, my favorite was Everything She'd Ever Wanted. I loved watching Annabeth and Devlin finally give into their attraction. Annabeth has yearned for a forever family. Devlin, his daughter and uncle are exactly the people she needs in her life. It's such a sweet story. I highly recommend this one as well as the others in the anthology.

A trilogy of stories by three of my fave authors. I shall return to finish my reviews as I read each story.

SWEET AS HONEY * Fern Michaels
Natalie has escaped a dud ex, maybe that's not the author's words but it is what it is. After her father has broken his hip and needs help it's time to spend the summer back home. She finally takes the time to appreciate a slower pace, reconnect with old friends and involve herself in the community. Contemplating staying permanently she didn't expect to find love that was real.

EVERYTHING SHE’D EVER WANTED * Lori Foster
I really enjoyed this sweet tale. Annabeth is an old man's neighbour who she regularly checks on. His nephew who is single dad to his young daughter drops by checking in to. Their paths have crossed for close to a year before his interest takes a second look. With so many things in the way of a chaotic life will they take the time to really get to know each other? A wonderful story of family and love.

THE MEMORY CABIN * Carolyn Brown
Three women united in grief, a support group formed by themselves. Every year for a week they gather at Jenna's lakeside cabin. This year is different with two of the women ready to move on. Finding love and other commitments having them move overseas.
This was a beautiful story of new beginnings and love.

What a wonderful group of stories to read, I've loved every moment.

This is a book with 3 quick novellas. These stories are about falling in love when you least expect it.

Sweet As Honey
3.5/3.75
Natalie is in a rut after her boyfriend broke up with her and she needs to go home because her father was injured. She needs a new lease on life and maybe some new friends. She meets a beekeeper who may be a little grumpy, but he ends up become a friend and maybe more. This was a short sweet read, but I just could not get into it.

Everything She'd Ever Wanted
5 stars
AnnaBeth is always helping out her sweet neighbor and his nephew, Devlin, isn't that bad to look at. Devlin is a single father of a sweet, intelligence, ball of energy Mia. He is also smitten with his Uncles neighbor and isn't sure if she feels the same. AnnaBeth and Devlin are sweet together and I truly believe they are meant to be together. After AnnaBeth's childhood and things that have happened to Devlin, I am so glad that they get their shot at an HEA. This is a quick paced sweet read that you can't help but love.

The Memory Cabin
4 stars
Jenna lost her mom a decade ago and still misses her every day. She has her friends and their support, but her art is the best outlet. Carson is the new Park Ranger in town and is totally smitten with Jenna. I think that Jenna and Carson are great together, they truly understand each other and are their person. This was an emotional story, but it was great all the same.

Received ARC from author for voluntary honest review.

Lilac Time is a great anthology of three fantastic short stories by three amazing authors. In Sweet As Honey by Fern Michaels, Natalie has moved home to help her parents while her father recovers from surgery. Natalie can't stop thinking about the hot local beekeeper, Garrett, after a run-in at a farmers market. Will Natalie's opinion of Garrett change as she learns more about him and his passion for bees and beekeeping? In Everything She'd Ever Wanted by Lori Foster, Annabeth has loved Devlin, who is a single father to Mia, since moving in next door to Devlin's Uncle Sony. Devlin has been attracted to Annabeth but has decided it is time to make his feelings known after seeing Annabeth take control when Mia is sick after visiting with her Grandmother. Can Devlin show Annabeth how special she is? Can Annabeth depend on Devlin's love for her? Will Annabeth finally find the family she always wanted with Devlin, Mia, and Uncle Sony? In The Memory Cabin by Carolyn Brown, Jenna has moved into the Texas lakeside cabin her mother left her when she passed away. Her and her two girlfriends gather for a week each year to remember good and bad memories. How will Jenna react when her friends tell her news that will change their futures? Is Jenna's heart open to a romance with the new park ranger, Carson? I would highly recommend getting Lilac Time by Fern Michaels, Lori Foster, and Carolyn Brown. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Good book. This book has 3 novellas written by Fern Michaels, Lori Foster, and Carolyn Brown. Each book told a different tale, but was very much enjoyed.

If you're looking for a romantic read, I definitely recommend reading this book.

Sweet as Honey:
This story overall was not for me. I felt like the author kept hinting at something the whole story and it just never happened so it felt like why even mention it. I really like Sally and Robert they always seemed to have something sassy to say that had me chuckle. I did like Diana she seemed like a genuine friend and person and someone who you would want in your corner.

Everything she ever wanted:
This story reminding me of the saying "That blood doesn't make family". I love how Annabeth had the biggest heart and for those in her life and helping those was well. She was super quirky and when stressful situations happen she was all for finding a positive spin on things. I loved Mia that girl and her energy just jumped off the pages and always had something to laugh at her and Annabeth were two pea's and a pod. I really had fun reading this light hearted story.

The Memory Cabin:
This story hit a little different for me as I am in the middle of the grief process this author was talking about in this story. I loved the friendships between Jenna, and her friends it felt like each one of the ladies was in different place in life however everyone of them was helping each person, and build each other up. I liked Carson he was fun and while I get the story was about the women in the story I so wanted more of this story. Overall this was a fun story and the author kept it clean. However if you are or have ever lost some one grab tissues you will need them.

Thank you to NetGalley, Kensington Publishing and the authors for this ARC.

This was just ok for me. Giving an overall three. The middle story saved this book for me.

Story one: SWEET AT HONEY*Fern Michaels - While I was initially intrigued with Natalie and her path in life, I was quite bored by the end. There was a lot of repetition, not much energy in the movement of the story and practically no interaction with the MMC. 2 stars.

Story two: EVERYTHING SHE'D EVER WANTED*Lori Foster - Annabeth was sweet and adorable with Devlin, Uncle Sonny, and Mia. Living next door to Uncle Sonny gave her a front row view of the family she longed to belong to. Annabeth and and Devlin were secretly obsessed with the other, had fantastic banter and had me smiling during their journey. Mia and Ruby were adorable to boot. 4 stars.

Story three: THE MEMORY CABIN*Carolyn Brown - This one was a little sad dealing with the loss of loved ones and Jenna's struggle to move on. It is not normally my cup of tea but I felt the connect between Jenna and her friends and their support of each other. Add in Carter with the attraction between them and helping the other really move on. It was sweet and had a little touch of romance to keep my invested. 3 stars.

EVERYTHING SHE’D EVER WANTED by Lori Foster
I really enjoyed this story from Ms. Foster. It was sweet, heartwarming, and a little sad. In a different lifetime, I was a version of Annabeth. Not the one who grew up in foster care, but the one who wanted her own little family. My feelings changed as I grew up and older, but there's still a small part of me who wishes things had turned out different.
Huh, I didn't expect this little novella to bring out such feelings in me, but here we are!

I have not read the other 2 stories in this collection, but if I do, I'll come back and update this review.

Sweet as Honey - Fern Michaels

Enjoyable read about family and a coming home of sorts.

Would have loved more in regards to Natalie & Garrett’s storyline.

Everything She’d Ever Wanted- Lori Foster

A beautiful story about found family. I thoroughly enjoyed AnnaBeth, Devlin, Mia and Uncle Sony.

The Memory Cabin - Carolyn Brown

The saying “grow through what you go through” really resonates with the stories in this book. All of the characters are dealing with grief in their own way and time.

What a wonderful book to start your Summer reading with a trio of stories by some great authors. Each character comes to life in these stories. The authors descriptions and settings are realistic and appropriate for today's times. You'll want to grab this one and any stories by each of the authors: Lori Foster, Carolyn Brown, and Fern Michaels. They're always a delicious guy to read.

A free ARC was provided by Net Galley and the publisher, but all thoughts and opinions are my honest feedback.

I enjoyed all three of these stories by some of my top favorite authors. I am usually not a huge short story fan but these all felt like a full story to me. I hope they combine to do more. Don't miss this one!

I enjoyed these three short stories by all three of these great authors.

SWEET AS HONEY was great! I loved seeing Natalie go home to help her parents and find her way! She found that she was way happier back home again with her family and her friends. She also found out that she could do what she loved but tweak it just a little. In the meantime, she finds someone special also!

EVERYTHING SHE'D EVER WANTED was so sweet! I loved this story with the elderly neighbor and the dog that wins the heart of everyone. Annabeth doesn't really have anyone in her life but her little dog, but she gains a whole family by adopting her sweet neighbor. It turns out great for everyone!

THE MEMORY CABIN was definitely a great read by Carolyn Brown! She turns on her southern charm in this story. Jenna has a great cabin on the lake where her two friends come to visit her for a week. They have the best time and get to know the new park ranger. This year is the year they all move on for the better.

Great stories!
