Molly finds a Fabergé egg left behind by her Gran, who has passed away. It is revealed to be a precious antique worth millions of dollars which Molly plans to auction off. However, the egg is stolen and Molly sets about recovering it.
This book was my least favourite out of the three in the series so far. Half of the book was centred around Molly's Gran's back story, which didn't interest me. When it wasn't focused on her Gran's back story, it was focused on finding the egg, and I missed the immersion into her job and the happenings at the hotel that was so central in the first two books.
