Last year I have read 25 book written by Catherine and I can't get enough of her writing!
All the missing pieces is another testimony to her romantic suspense genius! If you love this genre you know Catherine's books, if you are new to it - it is a great place to start!
Nothing I tell you here would do this book justice - I would just gladly encourage you to go and check it out!
Better do yourself a favour and make this year'a goal to read as much Catherine's books as you can!
I prefer to listen to audiobooks because the cast Cathrine chooses delivers each and every time! This time Andi Arnd and Sebastian York did absolutely amazing job by bring Ridley (fun and curious podcaster) and Colt (broody but caring sheriff) to life.
They were able to cover all the range of emotions and the connection between the characters! Couldn't think of a better pair to do the narration!
I loved this book with all my heart and looking forward to reading new masterpieces by Catherine!

"There was so much beauty in her strength."

"What about no sleeping in the same bed rule?"
"Don't you know Chaos, I have been breaking all the rules since I met you."

He calls her Chaos. She calls him Law Man. I call them everything I want in my romance suspense audiobook. All The Missing Pieces by stellar romance author Catherine Cowles fits perfectly into the romantic suspense genre.

Ridley's twin sister disappears the night before their college graduation changing Ridley forever. Five years later she travels the country, with her spoiled adorable three legged cat Tater, chasing leads to rescue abducted women, using her true crime podcast. All the while she's collecting evidence that will hopefully lead to her sister's abductor.

Landing in the small town of Shady Cove, hoping to interview a woman who escaped the abductor that may be responsible for her missing sister, the last thing she needs is the attention of the grumpy, and yes ruggedly handsome, Sheriff Colter Brooks. Colt feels the same about the woman turning his town, and his heart, upside down.

Voice performers Andi Arndt and Sebastian York excel at sexy enemies to lovers banter. When her van is vandalized and she's hurt, Colt's growly, "Who.The. Hell. Did.This.To.You?," is truly drool worthy. Then he brings her home for safe keeping and the night ends with one sentence, "Grab the headboard Chaos."โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

The suspense is just as exciting and I have to say I was shocked by the abductor's identity. There's angst, tears, grief and fear, but how these two heal one another proves this writer found all the missing pieces for a five star suspenseful romance.

I received a free copy of this audiobook from Dreamscape Media via #NetGalley for a fair & honest review. All opinions are my own.

This story was captivating, combining romance and suspense to perfection. Catherine Cowles has a particular talent for creating complex, engaging characters, and her writing style kept me on the edge of my seat every time.
I'm afraid to say too much, but I loved this book's deep emotions and incredible suspense. The chemistry and the tension between Ridley and Colt were so freaking good.

If you love Small Town, True crime podcaster, Sheriff & Suspense, then this book may well appeal to you.

The audiobook performed in dual narration by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, and thanks to them, I felt even harder for Ridley and Colt.

Already one of my TOP READS of 2025!!! Wow. Catherine Cowles did not come to play with this one. I'm SO OBSESSED!!! I listened to the audiobook, and I didn't want to stop listening at all. Literally kept me at the edge of my seat. The banter, the mystery, the suspense, the intensity, the angst, it was PERFECT!!! The only sad thing is that this is a standalone, and I WANT more books in this world. Lol

Ridley has a crime podcast after her twin sister had gone missing. She went to a small town, Shady Cove, to talk to people in that town about a case that was never solved. There she met the grumpy, sheriff, Colt. Colt didn't want Ridley near the case at all. I remember I was so shocked when we know why he didn't want her near it. I didn't see that coming. There was a lot of disagreements and back and forth between them, but as Colt starts to see who Ridley really is, he started to warm up to her.

Love Ridley and Colt so much. Both of their feelings and life was never the same because of one thing. Ridley made it to a positive change, while Colt made it a negative thing in his life. It took Ridley to come to Shady Cover for him to realize it. Totally adore them!!

Please pick up this one. It's so good and amazing.

I HAVE NO WORDS. Catherineโ€™s writing always makes me go through all the feels but this story is just so damn heartbreaking. My heart ached for Ridley, Emerson, Colt and all the pain theyโ€™ve gone through. I truly couldnโ€™t get enough of these characters. I was floored when all the pieces came together in the endโ€ฆ as always Catherine blows my freaking mind with these twists. My jaw is honestly still on the floor.

Colt + Ridley were everything. I loved how they challenged each other, how Ridley didnโ€™t put up with Coltโ€™s asshole attitude and how she brought out the best side of him heโ€™d been missing since everything happened. I just canโ€™t say enough good this and will be thinking about this story for a long time.

I secretly wish this was at least getting another book with Emerson & Trey buuuuut thatโ€™s wishful thinking๐Ÿฉท

I LOVED this book! It was gripping, I could not stop listening and when I had to, I was counting down until I could listen again. I loved the plot, it was fast paced and a unique storyline with Ridley being a podcast host. I thought Ridley and Colter had great chemistry and banter. And I was definitely surprised in the end of the book. The twist and turns this story took kept me on the edge of my seat. I wish there was more to come in this world because i would read all about it!

I devour everything Catherine writes, but I have to say that sheโ€™s outdone herself with All The Missing Pieces! This standalone novel (pleeeeease make it a series!) is more suspense driven than usual and I was here for it! Weโ€™re talking edge of the seat excitement, twists and turns a plenty, a jaw dropping revelation and the most delicious grumpy x sunshine romance along the way. And did I mention the sprinkle of growly โ€œwho did this to youโ€ goodness? Swoon!

Catherine has a knack of creating the most realistic and engaging characters and their POVs help the reader get right under their skin. I loved Ridleyโ€™s commitment to helping others and her joie de vivre as she tries to live life to its fullest for both herself and her missing twin. Her dynamic with closed off, grumpy Colt was epic and I loved seeing her chip away at his walls and help him to start really living. The tension between these two was butterfly inducing and Coltโ€™s protectiveness of Ridley was romance goals! And the spice. Was. Spicing!

There are so many great side characters and I adored how Ridley won the quirky town residents over and created a found family for herself.

Rule number one of a CC novel is suspect EVERYONE, and I had a giant list of potential villains as I read this! Suffice to say, I did not guess the killer, thanks to the genius plot twist! One of these days โ€ฆ

I read the book first, then went straight to the audio and I loved it even more the second time around! Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are two of my favourite narrators and they perfectly brought grumpy Colt and sunshiny Ridley to life. They had me laughing, blushing and on the edge of my seat and I loved every minute!

All The Missing Pieces is a clever, twisty and achingly romantic story that had me in a chokehold from the start. If you havenโ€™t got this audio on your TBR yet, then youโ€™re missing out!

All the stars โ™พ๏ธโญ๏ธ and emotions! I didnโ€™t want this book to ever end.

This is the first book by Catherine Cowles Iโ€™ve read, and Iโ€™m kicking myself for taking so long to finally do so.

I have her Sparrow Falls series to read next and Iโ€™m excited to delve into the worlds CC has written.

๐Ÿฉต:
AtMP has everything I look for in my romance books:
- great writing
- seamless writing/transitioning
- more plot than steam (steam is just fine but I donโ€™t want an entire book of it, I need an actual plot/story).
- tough topics handled delicately & w/ respect (if applicable)
* strong FMC always a bonus, esp when character growth is shown

๐ŸŽง:
I was invested immediately after starting this book on audio. I finished it in just one day.

The narrators did an excellent job portraying Ridley and Colt!

๐Ÿ’˜:
The genre mashup of romance with mystery and some suspense was chefโ€™s kiss ๐Ÿ’‹!

When I say this book was everything, take it from me and be sure to add it to your tbr.

Catherine Cowles is the queen when it comes to romantic suspense. She literally writes it like no one else. And to no oneโ€™s surprise I didnโ€™t figure out this one either! ๐Ÿคฃ

The whole vibe of this story I just ate up! Ridley being a true crime podcaster and the reason why was truly unique and kept me hooked. I loved seeing her connection to cases and following her through the investigation.
Coltโ€ฆOMG. This manโ€ฆ๐Ÿซ  Law manโ€ฆeven though they were โ€œenemiesโ€ there was an undeniable pull with them. They could really relate to one another more than anyone else and I just loved their relationship. And his nickname for her is absolutely my favorite. Chaosโ€ฆit was so perfect!

I am still thinking about this book weeks after finishing it. It has catapulted to one of my favorite Catherine books ever! It had me hooked from the jump and guessing till the end. I cannot wait to read more about Shady Cove. Thank you to sourcebooks and Catherine for the arc.

Catherine Cowles is my favourite romantic suspense authors - no one does it like her and I ate this up! I was immediately hooked by the prologue and I felt like I was along for the ride with Ridley.

I also listened to this on audio. It is narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York - a match made in audio heaven! They were both so great at portraying the emotions of Ridley and Colt. I really enjoyed their performance and would definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed the concept of this book, and I loved that Ridley had such high stakes in her career, and reasoning for doing what she was. I loved Ridleyโ€™s passion, determination and the connection that both Colt and Ridley had to the story. Their connection was palpable and the banter, push and pull between them was everything.

I hope Catherine decides to turn this into a full series because I need Emersonโ€™s story like I need air!

Off the rip, I was in my feelings from the dedication. It was so heartwarmingly touching.

The prologue that was the kick off for the high level anticipation that filled me during my read. I know a character hate to see a Catherine prologue coming cause they already know itโ€™s the end. My hurt was broken for Ridley before I began the first chapter.

No matter how many Catherine Cowles books I read, she never fails to have me on the edge of my seat. Even with her formulaic brand of storytelling, thereโ€™s this addictive captivating appeal she brings to every story leaving it with its own unique magic. All the Missing Pieces isnโ€™t any different.

The small town of Shady Cove and its residents added heart and humor. Along with leaving me eager for more stories to come! And Tater, absolutely cannot leave out Tater whose tooth hugs and loving โ€œaffectionโ€ of Colt had me laughing out loud.

When I tell Lawman and Chaos sizzled with their banter, chemistry and spice. I love the way Ridley let Colt have it and wasnโ€™t afraid to tell him about himself.

Colt may be a brood but when he fell and opened his heart, he became as swoony as he wanted to be. Ridley was a sweetheart with a fearless spirit and genuine heart. These two bother harbored so much pain from their past. They didnโ€™t just find love in each other but healing.

Now, Iโ€™m usually always wrong even with my endless list of suspects but this time I was truly and honestly clueless. Catherine seriously shook me this time.

To no oneโ€™s surprise, Andi Arndt and Sebastian York were just outstanding in their performance. Their narration brought out all the emotions and beauty of Colt and Ridleyโ€™s story.

All the Missing Pieces is unlike anything I have read and listened to in a while! This unique storyline was full of emotions, sizzling chemistry, and so much suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing from page one to the very end. Colt and Ridley's chemistry was sizzling, and the banter between all the characters had me falling in love with the small town of Shady Cove. I can't wait to go back for more in this new series by the incredible Catherine Cowles!

โ€œShouldโ€™ve told you before now. You look beautiful. A kind of beauty that would make any man stop in his tracks. But itโ€™s only matched by your fierceness.โ€ Those brown eyes sparked gold. โ€œShow no mercy, Chaos.โ€

Catherine Cowles has done it again with another banger series starter! Catherine will rip your heart right out with All the Missing Pieces. In turn, she gives us one of the most beautiful, gripping love stories Iโ€™ve had the pleasure of reading. When a mysterious podcaster and a grumpy sheriff meet, sparks (and claws) fly. Can the short-fused lone wolf and the traveler who speaks in half-truths and threadbare trust see eye to eye long enough to find justice? I love the new community of Shady Cove, Catherineโ€™s world building paints a vivid setting of this bucolic yet anguished small town. Her new community of eccentric characters is compelling, funny, and contributes to the suspenseful tone of the story. This is a must-listen for any true crime podcast-loving romance reader! Colt and Ridley were a lovely balance of grumpy/sunshine; She is the vivacious optimist to his gritty pragmatist. I thought they had a genuine, well-rounded maturity that, though beyond their years, was a refreshing attribute in the MCs. From their fiery banter to the HEA, I enjoyed it all.

Sebastian York and Andi Arndt were perfectly paired to bring All the Missing Pieces off the page! I always know Iโ€™m in for a captivating, amusing, heartfelt listen when I press play with these two. Sebastianโ€™s performance as the buttoned-up, gruff, guilt-ridden Colter Brooks was fantastic. He captured the tongue-tied grump with an edge of humor and seduction. Andi gave a flawless performance as Ridley Bennett, whose penchant for cherishing gratitude and joy after soul-altering loss is only matched by her voracious desire to hunt for the truth behind her sisterโ€™s disappearance.

4.5 stars!

"All the Missing Pieces" by Catherine Cowles is a wonderful book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this well-written, page-turning romantic suspense novel. I must admit, I have not read a ton of the romantic suspense genre, but if they are all as good as this one, consider me a fan. I have not read any other books by Catherine Cowles, but now I am excited to go back and read her other work because she does a spectacular job of bringing these grumpy/sunshine characters and this small-town mystery to life in a captivating, engaging, interesting way. I really enjoyed watching this mystery slowly unravel over time as Ridley, an intelligent, savvy true crime podcaster with an actual reason to want to help victims and get these stories out there to the public, tries to get justice for a woman who survived a horrific event as a teenager. I loved the banter between Ridley and Colt, the town's gruff, attractive sheriff. Colt has a reason to want Ridley out of his town and away from the victim: she is his sister, and he is protective of her peace. I also loved all of the town's secondary characters, who get in on the banter and shenanigans throughout the story. Finally, Andi Arndt and Sebastian York bring this book and these characters to life in a spectacular way. Seriously, they are some of the best audiobook narrators out there! Absolutely incredible narration work here. I loved this book, and I think you will, too!

Thank you to NetGalley, Catherine Cowles, and Dreamscape Media for the complimentary ALC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.

The way Catherine never misses! Literally did not see it coming! She always does this to me and I love it! Such a good book. First time reading about a true crime podcaster. Absolutely loved this book. Definitely a must read. Definitely loved the grumpy sunshine aspect of this book and the banter between Ridley and Colt. Tatter the cat was hilarious.

If you have not read a Catherine Cowles book, I do not know what you are waiting for!!! Go pick this book up!

in this romantic suspense book we follow ridley and colt. 5 years prior, ridley tragically lost her twin sister and the culprit was never caught. as a result, ridley takes on cold cases in her true crime podcast in hopes of bringing more awareness. her podcast brings her to shady cove where she meets colt, the local sherriff. colt doesnโ€™t want her sniffing around his town and bringing up bad memories of the past.

i enjoyed this one! the suspense part was my favorite and i loved watching everything unravel. iโ€™ve never read a book where an mc is a podcast host which is cool!

ridley and colt def had their rough start but ended up being so good for each other and understanding each other, especially when it mattered most.

thereโ€™s also fun pets in this one!! especially love princess tater and her tooth hugs ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿซถ

def pick this up if youโ€™re looking for a good romantic suspense- or any catherine cowles book for that matter, she never misses!!!

Catherine has done it again!!! Another incredible romantic suspense where I am 100% convinced I know the suspect andddd I still get it wrong๐Ÿ˜† The way she writes suspense is incredible as it keeps you guessing until the very end while changing your suspect many times! She is my go to author for romantic suspense but add in the true crime element of this one and it just made it even better!

Ridley runs a true crime podcast covering cold cases after her own loss of her twin sister who was never found. She goes from place to place in her van and her next stop is the small town of Shady Cove. For this case, the woman got away but the person responsible was never found. However, the sheriff in town, Colt is not pleased to have her in town looking around.

AUDIO REVIEW:
WOW!!! What an incredible casting for this book that perfectly captures the demeanor and personalities of these characters while keeping you on the edge of your seat with their performance!!! Itโ€™s a dual narration by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt that completely elevates this mysterious and emotional story!!

Andi is one of my all time favorites for Catherineโ€™s stories!!! In this book she makes you FEEL the suspense while brining out such intense emotion in her voice that was so stripped down and raw at times making you feel everything Ridley is going through! At the same time, the tone she uses captures the feeling of the suspense as it builds up which keeps you hooked right into the story!

Sebastian as a grumpy copโ€ฆperfection!!! This man also couldnโ€™t have been better for this role! His deep, gruff tone showcased the grouchy demeanor of Colt and his fierce protectiveness of Emerson. Then as the story goes on and the relationship develops you can hear how his voice softens with Ridley as well. It just gave so much life to Colt and made him feel like a real character!

Overall, this is one I highly recommend listening to as it will give you an even more immerse experience of this story!!!

I love everything Catherine writes, and this was no exception!

The way that Catherine writes romantic suspense makes me so excited for every new release she has, and being a true crime junkie, this was the perfect premise for me.

We follow Ridley, a true crime podcaster with a traumatic event in her past, and the local Sheriff, Colt, work to investigate an unsolved abduction of a local resident who happens to be Colt's sister. Through their investigation, they get closer, but can they catch the unsub and can Colt keep Ridley save?

A great small town, romantic suspense to add to your TBR!

Thank you Catherine Cowles and Sourcebooks for the ARC in exchange for my review!

I LOVED this book! If you love listening to true crime podcasts and romance books, then youโ€™ll LOVE this one!

I always love being introduced to new small towns written by Catherine Cowles as they always feel like home to me straight away even though Iโ€™ve never actually lived in a town like the ones she has created.

Weโ€™re introduced to Ridley who is a true crime podcaster visiting Shady Cove as she thinks this is where a serial killer had his first victim, however she meets Colt, the town sheriff who doesnโ€™t want her sniffing around and bringing up the past again. Ridley is determined though so she doesnโ€™t let Colt stop her and suddenly finds him helping her look into the case.

I loved the tension between Ridley and Colt and was obsessed with his nickname for her, Chaos. They both have a stake in the mystery theyโ€™re trying to solve and are broken by the thing they have a shared experience of which pushes them together and makes them more determined to get to the bottom of what is happening. Colt is super protective and commanding but itโ€™s all from a place of love, while Ridley is such a free spirit who draws people in.

I loved the way their romance unfolded and couldnโ€™t stop reading. This was such a good story of overcoming your trauma and grief and finding someone who loves you no matter what youโ€™ve been through. Itโ€™s the perfect grumpy x sunshine romance filled with so much emotion.

And as always, Catherine continues to keep me guessing whenever I think I know who the bad guy is!

I really loved this book and the audiobook was amazing. I highly recommend.
