Chaos & Lawman were everything we needed and more! Loved this story and the characters Catherine Cowles created with All The Missing Pieces! Ridley the FMC was so strong and brave, who used her voice to give victims a voice with her Podcast!! Colter Brooks the Sheriff who took the job of protecting the people of his town very seriously. They banter was top their and set the mood for amazing connection! They help each other to solve the mystery and in the end their love won over and was beautiful!

Like all Catherine's books this was an easy read and one that screamed "suspect everyone, trust no one". Well, except maybe the broody Sheriff, Colter Brooks, our MMC, and the ray of sunshine that is Ridley Sawyer, our FMC. The banter and emotions between these two were off the charts. From start to finish, this story will keep you guessing and falling in love with Shady Cove. I love the way Catherine brings the whole town to life, along with everyone you meet.
While I was able to guess the plot twist and person responsible for the crimes, I still enjoyed reading this one. There's even a "grab the headboard" scene.
If you love small town, romantic suspense, broody x sunshine, emotional scars, or a 3 legged cat that gives tooth hugs then you would love All the Missing Pieces!

Thank you Catherine Cowles and NetGalley for the ARC and ALC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

🚲 What’s it about?
Ridley had a true crime podcast and she drives around to different cold cases to report on them. Occasionally she’s diligent and gets lucky and solves one.
She shows up at a small town for her podcast, but in this case the victim is still alive. She made it out. But the town doesn’t like her prodding, especially Colt, the grumpy, hot sheriff.
But this case is special to Ridley beyond just her usually investigations.
💜 My thoughts:
This book was addictive. I got so wrapped up in the cold case and equally as invested in the romance. Ridley is such a fun, brilliant, adventurous character, and I love how she makes everyone around her love her.
Colt took some warming up to, but once I got his story, I thawed toward him.
The mystery is interesting, and I couldn’t put it down.
🎧 This one is expertly narrated by romance legends Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. Definitely worth the listen!

This book has just climbed its way to the top as one of my favorite Catherine Cowles books! I was lucky enough to receive both an ARC & ALC copy and let me tell you, immersive reading made this story that much more amazing, I loved having these narrators in my ears!
Catherine's ability to create such unique stories with attention grabbing plots amazes me every time and of course I was hooked on this one immediately. The true crime podcast aspect was so much fun to read and I loved how it all tied into the bigger picture of the book's mystery.
Ridley Sawyer felt a piece of herself vanish the night her twin sister disappeared. But she channels that loss into hope, traveling the country covering cold cases for her true crime podcast. She might not have found justice for her sister but that won't stop her from finding it for others. Until Sheriff Colter Brooks gets in her way. Colt's not about to let this stranger stir up trouble in his town but when the cold case turns hot, Colt has no choice but to step in and help Ridley. She becomes so much more to him than he could've imagined but as they get closer to the truth, the game they've been playing might just turn deadly.
Ridley & Colt had me so invested, I could not stop turning the pages. The budding romance, the lingering grief, the mystery that keeps you on your toes, their story has it all. These two are both broken in their own ways but with each other they find the missing pieces and everything feels so perfectly complete.
It took me until almost the last second but l've finally guessed a Catherine Cowles bad guy correctly! She never makes it easy so l always expect the least expected. Ridley & Colt's story was so perfect, the narrators truly brought them to life. This story was so much fun to read & listen to!

“Don’t,” she whispered.
“It’s a bad idea,” I rasped. “We’d be playing with fire.”
Those ocean eyes sparked. “Then let’s watch it burn.”
Catherine Cowles is a master of writing suspense, mystery, and romance all together. From the storyline, to the podcast, to the nicknames…the creativity is flowing in this book!
Ridley Bennet, aka Chaos, lost her twin sister 5 years ago, where this story begins. She is now the host of the “Sounds like Serial” podcast in which she takes on cold cases of missing people which often leads to solving said cases. Her latest venture leads her to Shady Cove in which she immediately has a run in with the town sheriff, Colter Brooks, aka Law Man.
Colt is not just a protector of his small town but of those he loves. Years ago, his sister was a survivor in the kidnapping that Ridley is researching causing his grumpy side to come out in full force.
“Law Man,” she started cautiously. “You okay?”
“Who. The. Hell. Did. This. To. You?”
Cowles had me invested in the characters and the storyline from page 1. While this is a slower burn, the chemistry between Chaos and Law Man is evident and I couldn’t get enough.
Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did a phenomenal job with the audio, per usual. They both added so much emotion to the story and the pacing was perfect. I found myself getting so lost in the story while listening to these two talk and I couldn’t be more happy about my listening experience.

I am going to go ahead and crown Catherine Cowles the Queen of the Romantic Suspense.
Her last few books have totally shocked me with the "who done it". I devoured this book in a day because I just could not push pause. Andi Arndt and Sebastian York were absolutely perfect with their performances of Ridley and Colter. Andi brought the fire and strength of Ridley and Sebastian brought the broody yet protectiveness in Colter.
This story brings us Ridley, who is the host of a podcast true crime show. She travels around helping people solve the mysteries that the police have basically given up on. Now she is trying to find the connection between her sister that disappeared years ago and what she believes is the killer's first victim...Emerson.
Emerson happens to be Sheriff Colter Brooks's sister. Colt doesn't take too kindly to Ridley showing up in his small town stirring the past up. Colt wants to protect his sister at all costs and not help some podcaster with her show. That is until he finds out the reason Ridley is really there and the connection to his sister.
I loved seeing these two banter the way that they did and how they slowly turned from enemies to friends to lovers. I loved that the majority of this book is based around the mystery of Emerson's kidnapping and what happened to all the other victims. Ridley and Colt's love story was just a small aspect which is definitely what this story needed. I am so excited to see what else is in store for us in Shady Cove. Knowing Catherine, she will knock us off our feet.

I always know when I pick up a Catherine book that I’m in for a wild ride. In this book we are following Ridley as she tries to solve what happened to her twin sister years ago. Her true crime podcast has brought major attention to unsolved crimes and finally given people answers they have been searching for. But this case, in this town is linked to her sister’s disappearance. The last thing the people in this town want is Ridley digging around and asking questions, especially Colt - the town sheriff.
Before I used to listen to audiobooks all the time, I was obsessed with podcasts, especially true crime podcasts. So following a FMC who hosts a true crime podcast was a fun time. I loved the narrators and I did not see the twist coming for this one. Excited to continue this series!

No one does romantic suspense like Catherine!!! And this one with the true crime aspect I was sucked into the story the entire time.
Ridley hosts her own true crime podcast and is headed in her *van* to a super small town where she thinks she can link a cold case to others. Colt, the local sheriff, and her have a NOT so cute meet cute and get started on the wrong foot. They instantly can't stand each other but find out quickly they will be working together on this 10 year old cold case.
Once again I was completely lost as to where this suspenseful ride was going and didn't guess a thing.
Colt was the grumpy and bloody sheriff and Ridley was so quirky and fun!
Thank you to Catherine, @dreamscape_media, @netgalley and @sourcebookscasa for this ALC & ARC

A fabulous new enemies to lovers’ novel from Catherine Cowles that ties in with the rise in popularity of true crime podcasts. Her heroine in All the Missing Pieces Ridley Sawyer is a podcaster, travelling the country in her teal-coloured VW camper van, driven by the fate of her missing twin sister, determined to find justice for other families and bring them a modicum of peace, personally aware of the pain that not knowing brings. When she arrives at the small, picturesque mountain town of Shady Cove on her latest case the local sheriff Colter Brooks definitely isn’t happy to see her. His sister was a victim who had survived and the last thing he wants is the past raked up and reporters descending on his town. But for Riley his sister’s particular case may have a more personal connection.
The Queen of romantic suspense has done it again, giving readers a fantastic romantic suspense novel balancing out the intrigue without skimping on all the feels and emotions in her storytelling. Guilt over what had happened to their respective siblings had shaped the lives of the hero and heroine, affecting their behaviour in different ways, Colter had become uber-protective while Ridley felt she had to make every second count. As for the whodunnit element of the story, well it kept this reader guessing. Not once did I consider this person a suspect. So, if you’re looking for a book that’ll keep you guessing till the very end, I highly recommend you give this one a go. You won’t be disappointed, I know I wasn’t. This was possibly the best book I’ve read from this author.
Catherine Cowles style of writing translates easily to audiobooks, her storytelling is so vivid and descriptive its easy to visualise each scene play out in your mind as you listen and with dual narration for All the Missing Pieces provided by Andi Arndt & Sebastian York I knew before I pressed play that I was in for a treat. This narrating duo more than did justice to a great story, bringing Ripley and Colter to life, capturing all their characters emotions, from their guilt to their mutual antagonism which soon became a grudging respect as they got to know one another. Five well deserved stars to both artists for their performances here.

I was lucky enough to read an advanced copy of this one and I think you’re going to really enjoy it. There’s mystery, suspense, heartbreak, romance and the cutest little Northern California town.
I absolutely loved the sass and witty banter between the two main characters. Colt and Ridley have more in common than they even realize. I enjoyed watching everything unfold and secrets be uncovered.
I say this almost every time I read the start of a new series by Catherine, but I absolutely adore the communities that she builds in her small towns. The members of Shady Cove will keep you on your toes. They’ll have you laughing, suspicious, and warm your heart. They’re a tight knit crew who looks out for their own. But I’ve learned with her books that you can TRSUT NO ONE until the very end.
The “villain” in this particular story definitely took me a bit by surprise. They were one of my suspects, but not who I hoped it would be. The twists and turns to reveal this person did make up for that part though. Very creative!
Can these two help each other solve the mysteries of their pasts and heal from their traumas? You’ll have to read to find out.
Who’s ready to enter their true crime podcaster era?!?
I hope you enjoy.

Catherine Cowles does it again! I love all her books, but I think this one is my favorite!!
🐾All the Missing Pieces is an enthralling romantic suspense novel that tracks true crime podcaster Ridley Sawyer as she delves into the enigmas of Shady Cove, California and encounters Sheriff Colter Brooks in her quest to uncover the truth about her missing twin sister.
🐾The dynamics between Ridley and Colter slowly grows into a professional partnership. As they work together to solve a mysterious cold case, a deeper emotional connection begins which adds an extra layer of intrigue to the suspenseful plot.
🐾Watching them navigate their own personal vulnerabilities while solving cases, created a compelling and heartfelt narrative. It’s this blend of romance and suspense that really sets the story apart for me.
🐾And you can't write a review without mentioning Ridley's three-legged cat Tater.....I loved Tater's personality which added some fun to the story and made me laugh on more than one occasion. Most favorite cat ever!!😻
🐾Cowles masterfully intertwines suspense, romance, and character growth, delivering an exhilarating and heartwarming story that is captivating from start to finish.
🎧Narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York.
These two have a chemistry that enhances the emotional peaks and suspenseful scenes, making the story even more captivating.
Andi Arndt masterfully portrays Ridley's resolve and fragility, while Sebastian York’s deep voice brings a solid and captivating essence to Colter.

Catherine Cowles is my GOAT when it comes to romantic suspense. She crafted an intriguing story, combining the elements of true crime and podcasts, making All the Missing Pieces a new favorite. This story follows Ridley Sawyer, a true crime podcaster and Colter "Colt" Brooks, the sheriff of Shady Cove, where Ridley is following a serial killer's trail.
The hate to love tension between Ridley and Colt was everything I could have hoped for, and I enjoyed those moments of them butting heads as Colt tried to stop Ridley from sniffing around his town. I loved how Ridley would not be deterred and how her sunshiny attitude slowly broke down Colt's grumpy walls, making her impossible to resist. The suspense had me on edge throughout the whole book, and in true Catherine Cowles fashion, just when I thought I had the culprit figured out, she shocked the heck out of me.
Sebastian York and Andi Arndt were perfect as Colt and Ridley. They did a wonderful job of portraying their tense dynamic, and Sebastian used his husky, deep voice perfectly for Colt's grumpy/sexy demeanor.
Everything about this book was excellent. From discovering the town to the fun cast of characters to the banter between Ridley and Colt. I highly recommend diving into this one for your romantic suspense fix.

This book brought the true crime junkie out of me BIG TIME!!! I already love listening to true crime podcasts so I was just super stoked about this one coming and it boy she did not disappoint at all! So if you love true crime, romantic suspense you definitely should pick this one up!

All the missing pieces is another romantic suspense from Catherine Cowles. Ridley is a crime podcaster on the hunt to solve the unsolved murders across the country. Her passion leads her to a small mountain town. Colt is the sheriff of Shady Cove who will do anything to keep his town and sister protected. Sparks fly as soon as these two meet and the hunt for answers will keep you glued to the pages till the very end.
The narrators nailed this book and brought the story to life.

All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles is a heck of a ride! The more of her romantic suspense stories I read, the more I try to figure out who the bad guy is going to be, but admittedly, this one surprised me! The twist at the end had me literally speechless and literally gasping in shock to the point my family asked me what was wrong! Haha.
I loved Colt and Ridley were a lot of fun, but also had their serious sides. I loved that they complimented each other in such a way that they really kept you on your toes. I also really enjoyed that they didn't really play games. They were honest with each other and kept it real.
I loved Shady Cove and hope there will be more stories in this lovely little town! The characters are so fun!

4.5⭐️
There is something I’ve come to realize about myself and my reading preferences. While I love nearly all the books I read within the romance genre, there’s nothing quite like a romantic suspense story to leave me obsessed and captivated! And within that sub genre, there are a few authors that I put on the highest pedestal, one of those being Catherine Cowles, who in my eyes can do no wrong.
With All the Missing Pieces, her new release, she proves me correct once again, delivering a compelling, suspenseful, realistic portrayal of a small town sheriff and a true crime podcaster who meet — and through the story, experience a transformational relationship, from adversary to tentative friendship to so much more.
Ridley and Colt are just the latest in a long string of main characters of Catherine’s who definitely will stay with me. FMC Ridley is incredibly strong and determined and compassionate, especially given the trauma she has been through, which I won’t spoil. At the same time, Colt is making his way in the world on a path that he hadn’t originally chosen, but that life circumstances drove him to choose. Together, they offer a remarkable story, complemented by a host of characters that I couldn’t help but fall in love with as well. Most notably, Emerson, who is Colt’s sister and so central to Ridley‘s purpose in this story. Her own strength and courage was commendable and a little heartbreaking at the same time. And of course Ridley’s cat Taters, the real star of the show here. 😉
🩵 Small town romantic suspense
🩵 Frenemies-to-lovers
🩵 Grumpy/sunshine
🩵 Forced proximity
🩵 Past trauma
🩵 Dual POV
I don’t want to say more than that so as not to spoil this amazing story, but just know that Catherine has delivered another winner. I am so looking forward to more in the Shady Cove world!
Oh, and for what it’s worth, as always, she completely bamboozled me when it came to the villain in the story. I don’t know how she does it, but literally every time I’m wrong. And literally every time, I love it. 😉

it was amazing one of my top reads of 2024
its the third arc i get from catherine
shes an angel super sweet
cant wait for more by her

I absolutely loved this story and devoured it as fast as I could. I took notes on every little thing, and of course every person was a suspect. ATMS was brilliantly written, and as a fan of true crime podcasts, I loved that this was centered around one. 'Sounds Like Serial' is definitely a podcast I would listen to were it real.
Ridley is a true crime podcaster looking for answers in her sister’s disappearance and murder and ends up in Shady Grove. Enter Sheriff Colter Brooks who wants nothing to do with the attention she brings to his town, but when things start happening he’s forced to help out.
I was drawn in with the mystery and intrigue of this story. I loved every moment of my time with Ridley and Colt, and I can’t recommend All The Missing Pieces enough.

This was everything you love about a Catherine Cowles novel - small town suspense where everyone is suspect, protective heroes who fall hard for the FMCs, heroines who have subtle strength for enduring, and secondary cast of characters to love.
What I loved most is the True Crime Podcast angle. It added so much to what I already loved about her books. Through the couple, Cowles tackles the ideas of guilt and grief, and how those things shape you as you carry them through life. More than that, though, she showed that an HEA is possible, that you can carry them with you and honor those you love but holding them close in the big moments you will experience after their gone. Through Emerson, we got to see that the human spirit can endure and be happy, even if it looks different than what was planned when younger.
It’s a must read, for sure and one of my fave Catherine Cowles books!

📖 BRAVOOOO, Catherine!! This is def in contention for my fav CC book! I absolutely loved the storyline, our two MCs and their back story, the furry friends, and the small town of Shady Cove and all of its characters! Ridley Sawyer and her lovingly vicious cat,Tater, roll into Shady Cove so Ridley can start investigating a case for the newest series on her podcast, Sounds Like Serial. This podcast is close to her heart because she lost her twin in an unsolved case and she wants to find closure for others, and maybe one day for herself. She soon meets the Sheriff, Colt Brooks, who happens to be a handsome and broody grump who continues to get in her way. After a very close call with the possible unsub, Ridley packs up and moves in with Colt and his sweet, old dog Bowser. The chemistry they had from the start amps up, and when Colt learns what Ridley has pieced together he dives in to help her with the case and vows to protect her. A little enemies with benefits by night and partners on the case by day…
Chaos and Law Man were absolute perfection together and their attempt at boundaries and rules was cute lol. I fell as fast for them as I did for Tater and her tooth hugs! Catherine really put together a great story with this one! I loved how all the townsfolk loved Ridley from the start, to Colt’s frustration haha! And obviously the villain was expertly revealed in true CC fashion! I only hope we get more in this town, maybe for Emerson’s HEA!
🎧 Andi and Sebastian really sounded amazing in this audio! Andi is a top fav and she always slays, and this was no exception. She embodied Ridley and fully captured her persona—her strong will, independence, adventurous nature, sense of justice, and compassion. She of course nailed the emotional portions of the book! And Andi had a pretty amazing male voice as well! SebYo was absolute perfection as grumpy Colt! The casting here was just spot on. I truly can’t imagine anyone else playing this part! He nailed it!!
