In Thunder Game by Christine Feehan, Diego is back home in the Applachian mts. where he runs into trouble. Every Ghostwalker book starts with the tattoo and oath that they take. The men and women are usually psychically and physically enhanced, some willing and some not willing in a lab in the hopes to make a supersoldier. He helps Leila escape from a bad situation and protects her while she heals. Both feel inadequate, but there is inta attraction and as always an HEA.

Feehan goes back to Team 4 in her new book Thunder Game. You go home with Diego as he does not think that his brother needs him any longer. On his way up the mountain he runs into trouble and finds Leila and her sister under attack. This is a great book with ups and downs and the bonds that the character create with each other. As always you catch up with the other members of the team but also with some of the other Teams members. Will be recommending this book.

I couldn’t get enough of this book. The chemistry between Diego and Leila is intense and undeniable. As they navigate their shared dangers, the emotional bond between them deepens. The world-building is as rich as ever, with Feehan’s signature mix of action, supernatural elements, and steamy romance. Diego and Leila’s journey is not just about survival, it’s about healing, finding love in the most unexpected places, and discovering a light in the darkness.
