I am, however, grateful for being able to read it and live vicariously through the author from the comfort of my cozy bed with my only reason for being up at almost 3am is due to my aches, pains, and my need to read.

This book has really beautiful illustrations. This is a peaceful graphic novel about a shepherdess. I did not learn much from the story.

I enjoyed stepping into the shoes of a modern day shepherdess and seeing, feeling, smelling all that she does in a day. My goodness, this shepherdess is busy! It was fascinating to understand all that goes into making a single wheel of cheese.. It's a quick book to read, with spare text and engaging illustrations. This is a cute book. The illustrations are adorable but I feel like more colors would've made them stand out better.
