Thank you to NetGalley and Get Red PR for the ARC. I am so grateful!
First off, let me say that I love Elle Kennedy and the Briar U universe. Any excuse to return to campus and feel all the emotions that Briar U brings is welcomed. However, I have to be honest: this was my least favorite book in the Briar U universe.
One major issue I had with the book was that the Briar U magic just wasn't there. The male main characters didn't seem to care much about hockey, which felt more like a sideline plot than a central theme.
I did like the characters, but this book read more like a Hallmark movie—albeit one that involved spicy threesomes. The ending felt too cookie-cutter and far-fetched, in my personal opinion. A lot of the events in the book seemed random to me and just didn't make sense or come full circle.
That said, this is a fun read, and I do think Elle Kennedy fans will enjoy it. It just didn’t resonate with me in the same way as the other books have. The previous stories have embedded themselves in my heart and will stay with me forever, but this one didn't evoke the same feelings.
I loved the cameos from our original favorites (Coach Jensen's appearances always make me smile), and the dad chat among our OG characters had me giggling and kicking my feet.
I am begging and pleading for Blake Logan’s book, along with stories of our original characters' kids. I want the next-generation story of our favorite hockey boys' offspring SO badly!

"I have a secret—I didn't expect to like this book (which I was lucky enough to receive an early copy of). But, alas, I found myself not only liking it, but unable to stop reading it well into the early morning hours (we're talking *forcing* myself to go to sleep around 1 a.m.). The Charlie Method is the third in Elle Kennedy's interconnected Campus Diaries series and it centers around Charlotte, an over-achieving STEM student who also has a risk-taking side, a sort of alter-ego who she deems "Charlie." When Charlotte isn't studying or managing her sorority's finances, she's driving some seriously fast cars at a local track and chatting with two stars of the hockey team, Will and Beckett, who share a dating profile. This book is such a good time—from the throuple relationship to the Queen Elizabeth fanfic (yes, you read that right)—but it also doesn't shy away from issues like anxiety and challenging family dynamics, which make it entirely relatable.
Though this book is *technically* part of a series, they can each be read on their own, too—I read this as a standalone and had no issues following the plot. But if you want some good romance to hold you over until it releases on Feb. 25, I'd suggest digging into the first two, The Graham Effect and The Dixon Rule, which I plan to go back for ASAP."

Wow ! Someone who is not much interested in reading about throuples, this book will surprise you. Its so much more than that. After reading The Dixon Rule i was intrigued with how Will and Becketts book will be tackled and i should tell you it was done beautifully. Charlie, Will and Beckett had great character arcs, they each had their own subplots and i was equally interested in all of them.
This book is equally funny, witty and serious with excellent sexual tension and chemistry. Also it was great reading about our favorite characters from Briar U.

THANK YOU SO MUCH NETGALLEY AND GETREDPR AND BLOOM AND ELLE FOR THIS ARC AHHHHHH
dying dead deceased !!!!
This book is absolutely EVERYTHING to me!! One of my most anticipated reads and it didn’t disappoint. Elle Kennedy remains one of my top romance authors and comfort reads
First off, Elle blew this story out of the water. Writing from three POVs with complex feelings and backstories and lives, is hard, but she did a fantastic job. I’m literally floored with each characters development and the story itself.
I genuinely have never related to a story more. While Charlotte is Korean (I am Chinese) the adoption part of her character was so well written and something I related to so much. From the way it feels to grow up different, but to also have a loving family who supports you in all possible ways? That’s my life too. While I do think her DNA test came back with such quick results, it made sense with Harrison also being adopted. It was heartbreaking to read that his childhood wasn’t good like hers. I understood his anger and his frustration, but he should see a therapist fr. Charlie’s parents are amazing, never not being transparent but also validating that she belongs and she’s theirs. It was such an important plot to me and I’m genuinely grateful it was well thought out and respectful.
- [ ] People love found family tropes which is a bunch of rag tag random people who are each others family, but no adopting is means youre not really theirs? Fuck you stacey
Her sex life - first off fuck Mitch and his slut shaming frat boys. Jealous boys who unfortunately exist in the real world. I loved this development with Charlie. It felt very real to me because of how sex culture is. Luckily nowadays it’s not as taboo and insane to have two boyfriends. If I’m being honest, if I saw a woman with two bfs, I’d be cheering her on bc at least someone is getting it. Charlie’s journey to not be ashamed was truly amazing and I really loved how she grew more confident with her hot boyfriends.
Beckett and Will
I love them both! They were both so secure in what they want, in and out of bed. I love that we got more histories for both. Will’s story is sad and reminded me much of Garrett’s and Ryders (not great dad) and Beckett’s was actually gut wrenching. An additional gut wrench was Will’s decision to not move to Australia bc what the fuck? At the same time, I think it was good he had space but also it was kinda silly to have in my opinion. But not all paths to happiness are perfectly paved.
Spice:
WOWOWOW ok listen I don’t think I was truly prepared for the spice. The dirty talk? The CAR SCENE???? girl bye I want this injected in my veins. So steamy - readers will LOVE IT
Omg also the fanfic side side plot? DEVOURED!! Fanfic is also so relevant to my life and I love the journey that some writers choose from fanfic to publishing. Elle if you have any more chapters for Elizabeth and Alexander I’m really good at beta reading😂
Is this truly the last book for Briar U? If it is, I’d say it’s a perfect cherry on top. This second generation series following our OG Off Campus and Briar U couples was everything to me. I loved every cameo we got in the Charlie Method. My particular favorite was the Dad Chat 😂🩷. I will desperately miss this series and world, but am ready for whatever Elle writes next.

Charlotte, Beckett + Will
-mfm romance
-hockey romance
-dating app
-sorority girl
-sunshine/grumpy/sunshine
as expected…this was steamy, tension filled, thought provoking, & heartbreaking!! there was a complete twist i did not expect that had me gasping!! even *i* felt betrayed by this event…& then another twist just the same happened again & i couldn’t believe it!! but by the end it all worked out for the better & im happy to continue on with anything elle wants to give us!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.5
Charlie, Will & Beckett - my new favorite trio ❤️
You know when you love a book so much, you feel kind of sad knowing you have finished it & can’t ever read it again for the very first time? That’s me right now 🥹
This has been my most anticipated read since I finished The Dixon Rule (in other words I’ve waited 265 days on this book, but who is counting 😂) & it still exceeded my expectations!
I was already in love with Beckett & Will from previous books, and I fell in love with Charlie on page one. She’s smart, a go-getter, fun, loyal and vulnerable. While this is, in my opinion, definitely the spiciest Kennedy book to date, it also has an emotional depth discussing important topics such as learning how to love & accept yourself when you don’t live according to the “norm” and that is ok to go after what you want in life.
While I’m so sad to say goodbye to the Campus Diaries series, I have loved every page of these books & I can’t wait to see where Elle takes us to next 🥰
Thank you so much @getredprbooks for the arc! ♥️
The Charlie Method by Elle Kennedy will be available on February 25! This book is for you if you love to read:
🏒 MFM
🎀 Girl boss in STEM
🏒 Super spicy texts
🎀 Sorority girl w/ secrets
🏒 Hockey Romance
🎀 “Our Girl”

Wow, I knew I would love this book, but I am blown away by it honestly.
I was super intrigued to get the 3 way POV in this book, and how it would all work for Beckett, Will, and Charlie. I was very much pleasantly surprised. I already knew I was in love with Will and Beckett, but the real owner of my heart on this one is Charlie. She was so relatable in never wanting to be a disappointment to anyone she loves and the pressure she puts on herself. I have a problem with caring too much about what others think as well, so getting to watch Charlie grow more and more confident with how she wanted to live her life was inspiring. Will and Beckett were the perfect balance for her, and thank goodness this is a why choose story because there is no possible way that I would be able to choose just one. Elle Kennedy can do no wrong. Another absolute masterpiece that was full of laughter, love, spice, friendships, and hot hockey players. I will never get enough of this world she has created.
Also, Coach Jenson STILL remains the man, the myth, the legend. That man could make me cackle on my worst day. That is all.

I’ll do my best to put my Briar bias aside … oh hell I can’t, I friggin love this world and Charlie Beck and Will are perfect additions!! The character building was spot on … Beck with his broken hearted past and Will with his Dad issues and Charlie with … well a LOT! Poor girl should add juggling on her resume. But this was perfected chaos, like a tornado of baggage and hurdles swirling around them but the three of them in the center, holding it up as long as they stay together. The depth and development was amazing … and let’s not forget the spice!! Holy hell, not sure who sprinkled some fire over Ms Kennedy but she bought ALL the heat with this book! Well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

AHHH! This book was everything I was hoping for and more. The sexual tension, the banter, the cameos from some of our favorite Briar U alum…I was thoroughly entertained by each and every page. I flew through it in just a couple of days and am honestly so sad that it’s over. My boys got the happily ever after they deserved and while it was unconventional, it fit them perfectly.

DAMN I didn’t know how I would feel about a three way relationship BUT ELLE KENNEDY IS A QUEEN AND I DEVOURED THE WHOLE BOOK IN 24 hours and the dad chat was everything I didn’t know I wanted but needed the book was hilarious and I loved every second of it I couldn’t put it down I’m just sad it’s the last one and we don’t get a Blake book! I’m not ready to be done with this verse please tell me there’s more!

I didn’t simply consume this book, this book consumed ME!!!!! I have been counting down the days until I was able to return to Briar U and read Will/Beckett’s story and miss Elle Kennedy once again blew me away with The Charlie Method! I absolutely adored Charlie! She was such an amazing FMC addition to the Briar U universe! And of course Charlie/ Will/ and Beckett together 🤌🏼💋 the banter 10/10; the spice 10/10; the way this pulled on all of my heart strings 10/10! I am so sad that this will be the last book in the Campus Diaries series, but as always I am so excited to see what journey Elle has in store for us next! Hoping for more Blake Logan! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Thank you Elle Kennedy and Getredpr for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

I love a why choose MAINLY in a fantasy genre. But when I heard Elle wrote this trope into this book, I knew she’d do it well…. And she DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
I love the storyline in this book and how Will and Beckett progressed at a pace that Charlie was comfortable in. I truly loved all three characters and their arcs. Charlie’s story deals with the insecurity of being adopted and not wanting to disappoint her family. But also wanting to find out where she’s from. Beckett has a tragic story that I won’t say due to spoilers. And Will deals with the life of a father that is a political figure. His ARC is really on point for the times we face with politics.
I always enjoy the side stories that hint at future books and the chats from the OGs. And giving us ACTUALLY historical fan fiction chapters just killed me.

I’m giving this around a 4.5! If we are getting super specific a 4.8. I just finished this all in a day and I’m still absorbing it all in and I can’t believe the rush.
Ahhhh I can’t believe the Briar U series is over!?! I will miss all these characters SO MUCH.
Let me tell you I really enjoyed this book. I saw myself in Charlie in so many ways. As an Asian American gal, perfectionism, having this double life idea, so much of her I saw in myself. I felt so seen.
I also loved how both MMC (Will and Beckett) were end game. I loved how it ended and everyone got to close out how they wanted too.
There was comedy in it as well which balanced some of the darker serious moments.
All around it was a well written Elle Kennedy hockey book but we all knew this would be a hit let’s be honest here!
I highly enjoyed this book and I will be recommending it.
I thought the scenes were going to be a tad bit crazier in the spice but it was still so fun and I loved the dynamic with the 2 MMC.
Had an absolute blast reading this and ahhh love love love.

I was really intrigued to read this book, knowing what it was about and how it was going to be handled. I really liked it! Especially as someone who doesn’t typically read why choose, or poly romance, but this really worked.
Will and Beckett have always been my favorite in the books, and with them at the forefront of this book, I think this one may be my favorite one. They both bring something different to the table; in the last book, Will was suffering with seeing himself as someone who does a three person relationship or arrangement, caring too much about what other people think. Beckett meanwhile prefers this type of relationship because it doesn’t let him get too close; something that he has done since his ex Shannon left the picture. Meanwhile Charlie has never done a three person relationship before, and like Will, grapples with what would people think, the dynamics, etc.
Charlie also has a lot personally going on. She’s in an uptight sorority, she’s adopted and has innate abandonment issues, and a libido that makes her feel insecure. Her ex said it was “too much”; but both Will and Beckett can handle her. There’s a lot of secrecy— her relationship, her DNA search where she finds a biological brother, the schools she really wants to go to— but it’s all built up in her head. She has really supportive friends and family. She just has to open up to them. There are the normal poly questions— what’s going to happen in the long run? Kids? Marriage? But they are also college age, and while those questions are important, they focus on the here and now and creating a foundation.

WHEN I TELL YOU FABULOUS I MEAN! Elle Kennedy did it again made me fall in love with all the characters! One of my favorite Elle Kennedy books I WANT TO READ IT AGIAN I LOVED IT❤️🥹

Description:
Adopted into a loving family with natural born children, Charlotte has always felt the pressure to measure up, keep good grades, be the perfect daughter. When it all got to be too much Charlie let her daredevil side out, like speed driving at her friend's racetrack, or chatting on an anonymous dating app to a single profile that included 2 hot men
Hockey players Beckett & Will had become fast friends & learned they sometimes liked to share their women in the bedroom. Nothing sexual between the two of them, they just liked sharing the same girl at the same time, no feelings, no strings attached. When they come across Charlie's profile on a dating app they're more than a little intrigued & start lusting hard. They're respectful, they'd never push a girl's boundaries unless she wanted them pushed, but realizing Charlie was sorority-girl-next-door Charlotte Kingston was def testing them
When Charlie discovers who her anonymous boys are she teeters between being hot for them & freaking out at the prospect of doing something so outside of the box she put herself in. The more time she spends with them though, the more she finds she has feelings...for both of them. All 3 of them have decisions to make for their futures but how do u factor in this thing that's looking a lot more like love than just hooking up?
Review:
I'm always impressed with Elle's ability to create such nuanced well rounded characters and she did such a great job giving each Charlie, Will & Beckett their own individual attention. She was able to layer each of their personalities, including traumas each has endured, making them who they were & contributing to their current struggles. I thought she did a great job turning up the heat without making it something "dirty" or classless. It was very easy to understand how Charlie could have feelings for both guys as individuals as well as for what they had as a group. The way that they were stand up guys and the ways that they were there for her *major swoon.* The author did a good job at showing how it could be a reality, though I couldn't help but question the sustainability of such a prospect and slightly scoff at the possibility of such an easy acceptance from outsiders

Waking up to receive an email to this ARC was not on my 2025 bingo card.
I am so beyond thankful to Elle and her team for allowing me the privilege to read this early!
I have only ever read one why choose book and it was incredible and this why choose didn’t disappoint. Elle was not shy when she was writing this book and holy crap did it exceed my expectations.
Will Larsen and Beckett Dunne have catapulted their way onto my god tier book boyfriends list. They are confident, sexy, and amazing.
The thing I love about Elles writing is that she puts such real life scenarios into the story that drag you and tug at your heart.
Charlie was such a believable FMC, she was unsure, and took the weight of the world’s views on her shoulder and I think we all tend to do that. She cares about what people think because she doesn’t want to hurt anyone around her and that’s admirable.
This as such a good conclusion to the campus diaries trilogy, and I look forward to reading more set on the Briar U universe. I really need a Blake and Wyatt book. Think about it, what a full circle comment for Logan and Garretts kids to fall in love. I would die.
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Elle continues to bring the heat in The Charlie Method and I am head-over-heels for her characters and dirty talk.

5 million stars!!! ♾️⭐️
This book completely exceeded my expectations (which were already VERY high to begin with!)
If you are looking for a hockey romance/college romance that has depth and incredible character development, then look no further!
The Charlie Method follows perfectionist/overachiever Charlie who is the perfect student, sorority girl, daughter, and friend by day but has a secret risk-taking side to her. She finds herself on a dating app talking to two guys sharing one profile. They turn out to be students at her school and she falls for both of them despite being concerned about what everyone will think.
I fell in love with Charlie and her story despite her being a new character in the series. She had big shoes to fill because I LOVE Will and Beckett so I needed her to be as phenomenal of a character as she turned out to be. Her character had so much depth and I loved the side plot of her looking into her biological family (she was adopted).
There are POVs from all three of our main characters and it truly made this 500+ page book read like it was half that length. I was rooting for this relationship all the way to the end and I absolutely love how it was wrapped up. This is one of my new all time favorite books of Elle’s which is not something I say lightly as an avid fan of hers!
This book comes out February 25th and is an absolute must read in my opinion! 💗🏒📚

GUYS! HOLY MOLY!!!!! This book is EVERYTHING!
Charlie, Will and Beckett have my freaking heart. I was so so excited for their story from the teasers we got and I absolutely loved this one.
What starts off as an unconventional relationship, quickly turns into something none of them want to end. We get the Briar hockey we’ve come to love, but get to see a new side of Briar with Charlie and the STEM program!
I loved how Charlie isn’t afraid to go after what she wants, but she’s still got those fears on the inside even though she knows what she wants to do. Will and Beckett support her so well and the 3 of them just fit together perfectly🥹
I adored them and I’m so so excited for you all to read this!!!
