Thank you @getredprbooks and @ellekennedy33 for my #gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
God, I love Elle Kennedy’s hockey world. I’m gonna be honest when I got this arc, I screamed. This is one of my most anticipated book releases of the year and it did not disappoint!
Larsen and Beckett have been great side characters in the last two books, especially in The Dixon Rule and I loved getting to know them more in this book. Larsen is such a solid character and a great book boyfriend. I loved his relationship with his stepmom and reading about how he grew into his own person despite his father. Beckett is such a flirt, but his backstory is my favorite. I love his family, especially his dad who is the definition of a stupid boy (even as a grown man) in such a funny way. Finding out why Beckett is so adverse to relationships was heartbreaking, but added so much to his character.
Charlie is such a complex character. I love how she works through her anxiety over decision-making through her lists. I absolutely think she could use a bit more therapy to work with her feelings on being adopted, but I loved the representation of adoption and the feelings that are associated with being adopted. I know a lot of people who are adopted and think Kennedy did an incredibly accurate job of describing the feelings that adopted kids often feel.
Charlie’s relationship with Larsen and Beckett is not only hot but also so sweet. You can feel how much they all care about each other and how even though none of them knew how it was going to work, they didn’t really care because they cared about each other that much. Their chemistry is incredible.
I highly recommend this book and this entire series!

The Charlie Method is the third book in the Campus Diaries series.
This one, like the others, was a fun and wild read. I can always count on Elle to deliver the spice and this one certainly did. Charlie is a STEM sorority girl- one you'd consider by the book and an uptight overachiever. But Charlie has a side she's hidden a bit of a freaky side if you will, she is on an anonymous dating app, except it's not one guy its two and she loves the heck out of it. It was fun to be alongside Charlie as she discovered that she is in love with not only one but two men and that they are her classmates and on the Briar University hockey team. One being Beckett a hot, sarcastic, Australian who Charlie, pretty much hates and he calls her "sugar puff" and the other being Will the pure, fun and genuine guy who is her lab partner who she's grown close with.
I loved how this story played out - Charlie growing as a person, discovering herself and getting to dive into her history of who she is and where she came from. But also, her learning it's okay to break the societal norms of a nontraditional relationship. But also Will and Beckett growing as individuals too. This book honestly was not at all what I expected, and I did struggle with it for a bit but once it clicked it clicked, and I couldn't stop reading. I of course loved the nods to previous series characters and the "Dad Chat" text thread was hilarious.
If you're a fan of Elle and love her hockey romance books, give this a try - it is a nontraditional romance that I am sure will keep you entertained.
Thank you to GetRed PR and Elle for an ARC, I am always honored to read these early.

So I finished this book in 2 days!
This follows Charlie, Will, & Beckett. In the past two books we have seen a glimpse of Will & Beckett so I was very excited to see where this book was headed!
Charlie is such a relatable character, she is trying to break out of her shell and be herself. Which is hard in a world where it’s the norm to be like everybody else, she feels the need to please her family especially since she was adopted. She is even in the sorority that her mother was in, which is a prestigious sorority that has to uphold a certain image. She goes through the internal battle of choosing herself or the opinions of others.
Will & Beckett also have there own personal issues which I really liked learning about.
Will is the son of a congressman who has to uphold a certain image of himself to the public, butt Will doesn’t truly care about that. Beckett is outgoing and to the world looks like the worlds biggest jock, but deep down he may be still hurting from his high school ex.
On another hand this his book was spicyyyy af 🥵 I was blushing while reading this!!
I really enjoyed this book and getting the three povs from each of them. I loved that this boom was funny, serious, and sexy. Seriously I found myself laughing out loud one minute then almost crying the next. This was such a fun story and I can't wait to see what Elle has next!!

I LOVE this series! This is technically book 3 of the Briar University series, but they can each be read as stand alone and in any order. In this story, readers meet Charlie, a senior in STEM and an overachiever. Charlie is more than her “good girl” personality, however, and she finds herself in a throple situation with two of the universities hottest hockey players.
Thule this book is STEAMY, especially with the MMF relationship, it is also a story about family, friendship and finding yourself. Charlie grew so much throughout the story, where she shed some of the expectations of herself and was able to become someone she was truly happy with. This story also explored adoption and Charlie’s want and need to find biological relatives. These books have so many layers, and just as with the first two, I couldn’t put it down.

Thank you to the author and GetRed PR for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
I’ll be honest, this wasn’t my favorite Elle Kennedy book. I just never felt fully sold on the relationship. Also, I didn’t feel connected or fully invested into any of the characters. Both Beckett and Will felt a bit under-developed to me and I wish we had had more time spent developing them as individuals. I was way more invested in Charlie’s adoption storyline and navigating that situation. I found that super engaging and interesting. The ending felt a bit underwhelming to me. I didn’t feel like we fully got closure to everything that happened in the book. Also the last 10% conflict really grated my nerves because it felt thrown in there for no reason and made the book drag on for me. I loved the cameos from all of the previous characters. I really loved getting to see more of Blake Logan. I can’t wait to see where her story goes from here. Overall, a solid book but not a favorite.

If there's one thing we can count on from Elle Kennedy, it's that she will absolutely deliver when it comes to a hockey romance! And add in the Why Choose trope? *Chef's kiss*
This book follows Charlotte or "Charlie," Will and Beckett. Will and Beckett are hockey players and roommates who have been known to share in the bedroom. Charlie has two sides to her - the preppy, sorority girl named Charlotte and the spicy, libido heavy Charlie.
I loved how Charlie knew both Will and Beckett and had different relationships with each of them before she figured out the connection to the dating app. This was fun to read her put the pieces together, especially since her and Beckett were very much enemies in the beginning. I enjoyed watching their situationship turn into more and how they all began to break down the walls each had up. It was so sweet to see how the guys took their time with Charlie to let her process everything she needed to and give her the space to feel comfortable.
I am Charlie, and Charlie is me. She is my list making, calendar using queen and I loved how similar we were in that sense. I really enjoyed her character, and watching her go from caring about everyone's opinions, to finally saying F*CK it and live the life she wanted to. I also really loved how she discovered who she was (literally) and where she came from, and how supportive her family was of her.
Will and Beckett were pure hockey romance gold. I wasn't expecting both of them to want something other than hockey after college (I think we're all used to hockey MMC's going pro) but it was definitely refreshing to see. They both had their own issues, but I loved how they each grew through the book and opened up.
While the Dixon Rule is still my favorite of the series, this book was a fun read and felt really different (in a good way) for Elle's writing. I still can't believe I get to ARC read for Elle, but I am so appreciative for the ARC copy!

The Charlie Method
(Campus Diaries, #3)
Elle Kennedy
Pub: 2/25/25
4-4.5☆
I have adored my time at Briar University and this was another fun and steamy return. Charlie, Will, and Beckett’s story although “unconventional” was sweet, serious, funny, full of tension, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Leave it to Elle Kennedy to have me feeling all the feels and falling totally in love with a throuple.
What I loved:
🏒 MMF Romance (IMO MFM)
🏒 Hockey Romance
🏒 Adoption
🏒 Family Drama
🏒 Character Growth
🏒 LOL Humor
🏒 Off-Campus Cameos
A huge thank you to Get Red PR and Bloom Books for the gifted copies.

This wasn't really what I was expecting it to be, but I really enjoyed it! I thought the direction that all the characters arcs went played out really well. They were fully developed, rich with emotions and made sense by the end of the book. I was a little thrown off with the timelines from scenes we had in The Dixon Rule to some scenes in The Charlie Method, but that could have just been me misremembering things. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I think it did a great job handling real emotions for a non-conventional relationship. I look forward to sharing this book, and series, with lots of book lovers in years to come.

This is the third book in the Campus Diaries series and follows two irresistible hockey roommates, Will and Beckett, as they navigate a relationship with Charlie, a STEM sorority girl and textbook overachiever. Only Elle Kennedy can make me fall equally in love with two characters and fully embrace a nontraditional romance!
The dynamics between the three felt authentic, with incredible sexual tension, witty banter, and open, honest conversations. Charlie’s character growth was particularly compelling as she grappled with her identity and the realization that she is in love with two men—a concept that took me time to fully embrace as well. She was easy to connect with and root for throughout the story, making me unable to put the book down!

I just love how Elle Kennedy can write a romcom that will sweep me off my feet while bringing all the steam! The Charlie Method is a witty romance that is sweet, funny, at times serious, full of excellent banter, a ton of sexual tension and will give you some very sexy shivers.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆?
I pretty much loved everything about this book! From the character growth and discovery to the suspense and serious moments that deal with family relationships, hurt, trust and so much more. I was just held hostage by it all in such a good way. The best part was the whole story felt extremely real and I was able to completely connect as I read.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲?
The romance had all the sexual tension and buildup that I love. However, what really stood out was how Kennedy approached writing about the very serious moments that made the MMF situation quite real in the way that it affected the characters and how they viewed their sexual situation and fears.
🔥Steam level: Open door with the hinges blown off and a few walls taken down
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁:
MMF/Throuple
Adoption
Family drama
Excellent sexual tension
Wonderful friendships
Laugh out loud moments

Nope, and that’s the thing I love about Kennedy’s series. You can pick them up in any order!
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲?
Holy smokes! This is one chunky book that clocks in at over 500 pages, and I flew through it in just two days. Honestly, this book hooks you from the very first paragraph and doesn’t let you go, so don’t expect to get anything done once you start reading it.
𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸?
An absolute MUST READ!! A MUST! Now to attempt to wait patiently for book 4, and I have no clue as to who's story will be next, but I already know I'll love it!
Thank you, NetGalley, Bloom Books and GetRed, for this gifted copy in exchange for my honest review.
Thank you GetRed for this gifted copy in exchange for my honest opinions.

I really enjoyed this series and was excited to see that this one was MMF. I was excited to dive back into the world of Briar University and get to meet Charlie, Will and Beckett. I don’t read a lot of romance like this, but I usually enjoy when I do, and that was exactly the case here. Charlie is a great character. On the surface, and what most people see is the sorority girl and STEM student. But underneath, she’s a risk-taking daredevil. How fun, right! She likes to try new things, and for me being a college student is the perfect place to explore new things. I loved her family and their dynamics. The epic family dinner at the end had be in shock, it was so much fun though and just exactly what a family dinner like that would look like. The relationship between Charlie, Will and Beckett was great. Will and Beckett are wonderful together and their sense of comradery and closeness really shined. I love how this book wrapped up and gave us hope into their future together. No spoilers but it is full of emotions and will have you on the edge or your seat turning the pages to see what happens, or at least it did me.
If you’re looking for a delightful hockey romance featuring a throuple, then you need to check this one out.
