Sara Cate is one of my absolute favorite authors and I was so excited to see the new stunning cover for Gravity. This book has been on my TBR for a while but I had to bump it up so I could review for the new cover release!
Gravity will leave you panting from cover to cover. It’s dark, it’s hot and it will have you on the edge of your seat. The characters all work through a lot as they exist in the wake of shared tragedy. They hurt and love each other in equal amounts and while we get an HEA it’s not a smooth ride to get there.
I cannot recommend Sara Cate enough and this book was amazing. Cannot wait to read book two!

This book didn't seem to be for me unfortunately. While the premise was interesting, I just couldn't connect to the characters so it made it hard for me to care about the relationships between Zara/Alister & Zara/Nash and the mystery plot point didn't really intrigue me. I typically love this authors' work so I know it wasn't a matter of the writing, it just didn't mesh with me personally, I suppose.

“There is no angel on my shoulder today. There’s not a voice in my head telling me this is wrong.”
Gravity follows Zara York, who is trying desperately to navigate grieving the loss of her sister when none other than Nash Wilde, the twin brother of her sister’s boyfriend, shows up at the club she dances at. Zara and Nash are carrying the same grief, as she lost her sister and Nash lost his twin brother. It’s been two years since they’ve laid eyes on each other, but now he’s back in her line of vision and won’t leave her alone - not atleast without one dance. Except that one dance turns into a lot more than just a dance, and she’s left with a lot of regret.
Two weeks later none other than Alistair Wilde, Nash’s father, is in her club offering her an opportunity. Stay with him and his son on their private island for three months in exchange for a million dollars. The only problem? Alistair is just as broken as Nash, and the only person that may be able to heal them - may also be the person to tear them further apart.
🤍 forced proximity
🖤 age gap
🤍 taboo
🖤 father / son love triangle
🤍 billionaire romance
🖤 spicy helicopter ride
Thank you so much Sara Cate, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and Netgalley for allowing me to reread Gravity ahead of its traditional release. Congratulations Sara, on yet another traditional release. 🤍 Being a part of watching you grow as an author is nothing short of inspiring.

This is a great story - all about grief and the lost souls it leaves behind. The grief stricken three come together and it’s emotional. Won’t ruin the end but there is more to follow in Freefall. This book is full of angst and raw emotion whilst they deal with their grief and their growing attraction. It’s a captivating read and it’s super spicy too. Although a duet part of the story ends here but there is more to come to complete the story for all three of them.
I really Enjoyed this book but really looking forward to book 2 and read what happens after the island.

Alister Wilde, Nash Wilde & Zara York all are dealing with a loss. Zara hasn’t seen the Wilde men in two years since that one tragic day and has tried to reinvent herself. When Alistair shows up at her work and asks her to help his son Nash get back to who he was she agrees. Spending some time on their private island with him & his son might make things quite interesting if not complex. A taboo romance that will have you reaching for a bucket of ice but it also has an emotional journey for all three characters. Very well written and all in all a beautifully told unique romance between three broken people trying to heal. MF; MFM; Triangle; Told in first person and multiple POV.

Gravity is the first book in the Wilde Boys duet written by Sara Cate.
*Love triangle
*Loss of family members
*Billionaire / Age gap
Sharing is caring is the theme of this spicy novel!
After suffering through a traumatic loss years ago, the three main characters are struggling to survive on a daily basis and move ahead in their lives. Alistair decides it’s time to make a move and fix his family.
His idea is forbidden and spicy, almost falls apart a couple of times, but ultimately brings him, his son, and their love interest closer than ever!
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read and review this title!

This one wasn't my favorite by Cate, but that's more to do with personal preferences than the book itself, necessarily--Cate imbues kink with emotion to get at the heart of why her characters have sex the way they do, making her works thoughtful installments in the erotic romance genre.
