Elise has been gone from her family’s old ranch for several years. She has returned in an attempt to restore the ranch. There is a 20 year old murder mystery following her and threatening to ruin her family.
Colt meantime has become a sheriff’s deputy. With a lawyer trying to get Elise to testify against Colt’s father and someone vandalizing her property it seems as if nothing will ever go away. The story begins with Elise believing Colt is trying to kill her but when someone driving a truck like Colt’s appears it looks like both Colt and Elise will have to work together to solve this mystery. The catch is, one of their parents may go to jail.
We never do solve the story of Colt’s mother’s murder trial but we’re getting closer. This is going to get really interesting.
