This book definitely had a super interesting concept! I am always a fan of fantasy, especially with animals involved.
The idea of time traveling to fix different moments in history was really fun to me. However, I think it could have been executed better. There was a lot of showing instead of telling, and I did not feel as if I really knew the characters. Instead, there were a lot of descriptions of their characteristics.
I am not sure though if I am simply not the right age for this book. It definitely felt more geared towards elementary schoolers, so I may have simply been too old. This is a clean, wholesome fantasy read with some excellent morals about friendship and bravery. I would recommend it to younger readers who love fantasy.

A cute collection of short stories of a time traveling trio, Bugs and her two dogs Theo and Bodhi. Through magic and fantasy in her own tree house, these three embark on day trips to the medieval times, the colosseum and even a few new world islands where time works differently. These stories were well enjoyed as a quick 10 minute read to my reader. These stories would be great for 10-12 year old readers who are transitioning from graphic novels to chapter books!

These stories were very much enjoyed by my younger granddaughter who likes action and adventure but cannot cope with anything too scary. She loved the dynamics between the main characters and their adventures together.

Magic Moments by Nichole Starlight gives you just what the title says - a collection of magical moments as experienced by a fearless trio. The lighthearted journey is fun as the trio travels through time, as well as different cultures and locations, to solve a mystery and learn life lessons. The adventures and lighthearted and fun, and the writing is solid. Upper elementary and middle school age children will love it!

I really enjoyed reading this story with my son. It has just enough suspense for a kid that they can follow along really well without getting overwhelmed by the storyline.
It was very well written by Nichole Starlight and we can’t wait to see what the next adventure holds.
