I love Lisa Jewell and this book was great! Nick Radcliffe is not who he seems, yet women seem to fall for him. This book was full of twists and wondering what happens next.

This book kept me on edge all the time . It was hard to get into the story at the beginning and I had to go back a couple of times to better understand what was going on because it was told in third person and were a lot of characters involved but overall I really loved it the story and how well developed it was. I highly recommend this thriller!, I have to tell you the plot twist will leave you feeling very confused but in a good way.

Sadly, I had to DNF this one. I got about 30 percent through. It was just so underwhelming. Nothing was really happening, I didn't feel anything for the characters. This is really sad because I love everything else I've read of Lisa. I'll probably try it again when the audiobook is released.
Thank you netgalley and the publisher for the arc!

I love Lisa Jewell and will always pick up her books. This one was definitely keeping me on my toes but I do feel that it dragged on a bit. We got the gist of it by about 50% and I was just waiting for the big reveal at that point. Her writing is 100% on point and I do love Ms Jewell and will continue to read. This one was just not as exciting for me this time. Thanks to the author and publisher and NetGalley for giving me this opportunity to read!

I've loved other books by this author, so I was excited about this one. It did miss the mark for me a bit. Sadly, there was no big twist, which left me feeling quite unsatisfied at the end. The beginning was a bit confusing with all the characters and timelines. That did eventually get better so that you could see how everything was connected. The short chapters do keep the pace active. While this wasn't my favorite, I will certainly read other books by this author.

This was a quintessential Lisa Jewell thriller. Told in 2 timelines with lots of characters, it took me about 1/4 of the way in to feel like I had a grasp on the plot and everyone involved. It’s a super slow burn but pays off in the end!

Oh Lisa. Lisa, Lisa Lisa. Since "Watching You", the first Lisa Jewell book I read, I have been a loyal reader. "Don't Let Him In", in Jewell fashion, is another domestic/family thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Or in my case, pacing my floors and furniture due to the "Oh h*ll no" moments throughout the book. Like all of her thrillers, we get short chapters with multiple POVs in a non-linear timeline. Which is the perfect formula to keep you hooked, which Jewell has perfected in her craft.
In this one, Ahs is coping with the death of her father, local restaurant owner, while her mother, Nina, starts seeing a new man, Nick, who Ash is wary of. Martha, a small-town florist, is suspicious of her husband, Al, and his coming and going's while remaining unreachable for extended periods of time, made worse during a family emergency.
I liked how this one had many twists and turns that had you thinking you figured it out, but then more things unfold and as soon as you think "I figured it out!" you realize there is more to unpack. "Don't Let Him In" kept my attention throughout the entire book. I only wish that the ending was stronger and maybe one particular character suffered more than they did at the end.
My book club is excited to read this once it comes out.
Thank you Netgalley and Atria books for the Digital Arc

Simon / Damian / Jonathan / Al / Nick is one of the MOST VILE MEN i have ever read about. Lisa, i wanted to throw my kindle at the wall so many times while reading this. This book was a quick and easy read for me!

In typical Lisa Jewell fashion, this thrilling book kept me on the edge of my seat. I think the scariest part of this thriller is that this story could actually happen and probably has happened to some degree.

3.75 STARS
This book was not at all what I expected. I love Lisa Jewell for her thrillers but this one wasn't all that thrilling??? It definitely gave off more mystery vibes than thriller, so I was a little bit disappointed by that. I did however still really enjoy my time with this book! The ending was incredible. That last chapter had me clapping my hands at the outcome!!

Oh the manipulation in this book!!! It started out as a slow burn for me as you start to get bits and pieces of information that will all come together later in the book. Then once all the pieces started to fall into place, it is hard to believe the level of deceit and deviousness that unfolds!

Ultimately, I think having the daughter's investigation into her mom's boyfriend unfold alongside stories of a charming man conning multiple women makes it pretty easy to see where this novel will go. The twists aren't really surprising, altogether a book I enjoyed at the start but felt like a slog by the end.

Another thrilling, twisty Lisa Jewell.. Paddy was living his life when one day unexpectly he got pushed in front of an incoming training and left his wife a widow and his child without a father. Nina his wife is left devastated by his death but is left to find out what really happened to him and how Nick is involved.

While there were parts of this that I really enjoyed, I think it's time for me to accept that I struggle with stories where characters seemingly ignore blatant red flags. This is still a fun domestic suspense, but if that irks you, this one might not be for you.

So good!!! Lisa Jewell gives us ANOTHER thriller full of dark twists and turns that keep you coming back for more.
Nick Racliffe enters Nina Swann's life soon after her husband has passes. While Nina is smitten, her daughter Ash knows something is not exactly as it seems. Meanwhile, in a neighboring town, Martha's marriage has hit crisis. Her husband Al is never home and always traveling for work. But deep down, Martha knows something isn't right.
I'll admit there are a lot of names & characters thrown at you in the beginning, so much so that I had to write them down to keep track. BUT, stick with it, because once the story picks up - all those names are easy to keep track. The story is twisty and dark and kept me on my toes. I loved each layer that was unraveled and the ending was diabolical. Such a good one!!!
Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for the digital ARC, all opinions are my own.

✨Do you think you would fall for someone who just seems to always know what you want or need?✨
Wow this book was interesting. The women were relatable but I couldn’t help but sit there and shake my head at them. I was shocked that they couldn’t see what was happening.
🚩 Domestic Suspense
🚩 Multi POV
🚩 Likeable and unlikeable characters
🚩 Fast Pace
Overall, I enjoyed this book. There were a few parts that got a bit slow for me but sometimes that happens as a mood reader. I normally expect it at this point! I still stayed engaged and wanted to know what was happening.
I was shocked to find out how many lies were presenting themselves by the end!
Definitely another amazing Lisa Jewell book.

I have loved and not love some Lisa Jewell books but I have to say this is my favorite of her works! I truly couldn’t put it down, it was so good. I got so interested in all the characters and it kept me engaged the entire time.

First off thank you NetGalley and Atria Books for the ARC opportunity, I am so grateful to be able to read and review this one early.
Lisa Jewell is one of my favorite authors and Don’t Let Him In did not disappoint. The multiple view points, short chapters, twists and turns, made for an easy ready! I did not want to put it down.
The ending was perfect and what I was hoping for! You won my love again with your engaging characters? And thrilling writing style! I give this a 10/10

That time you had really high hopes for a book by a favourite author but was so disappointed when you read the arc 😔
The overall concept of the con man was so interesting and I love a MMC I love to hate . But this book was so slow ..so very slow …at about 50% I felt like not much had happened really
Only picked up at around 75 % really .
Also many POVs in this book .. back and forth in time … I felt like was getting whiplash at times …

Lisa Jewell’s domestic suspense thrillers are always a ride and Don’t Let Him In proves just that. The suspense is thrilling and the plot another edge of your seat.
