First I want to say how excited I was to get a DRC of Don’t Let Him In. Jewell is an automatic read for me however this one just wasn’t for me.
I will say I think a lot of people will really enjoy this. It’s much less thriller / suspense than her other books and more domestic drama. I honestly just kept writing for something to happen and it really never did. I also found the POVs a little confusing.
Thank you SO much to NetGalley and Atria books for the DRC. All opinions in this review are my own.

I left NO CRUMBS. When I think that I’ve read a favorite by Jewell, she goes and does it again and causes these wonderful designer bags under my eyes that are well worth it because I couldn’t put this book down until the early wee hours of the morning. I loved this, everything about it from page one to the very last page. We have two women who’s lives couldn’t be more separate form each other slowly come closer and closer for reason. Fast paced, who did it, what’s happening and arm chair gripping all the way through this book, you’ll be trying to put everything together and pointing fingers at just about everyone in this book, but you probably wont figure it out until the end, I didn’t. You get multiple timelines, multiple POV and a whole lot of side eye, the recipe for an incredible domestic thriller that NEEDS to be on your TBR right away.
Large thank you to our Author, NetGalley as well as Atria Books.
𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗦: Fast paced, Domestic Thriller, Dual Timelines, Multiple POV, Who Done It

This wasn’t quite as bananas as None of This is True (but really, what could be?), but it was close. There was so much lying and uncomfortable tension - it was making me increasingly anxious the whole time I was reading (which fortunately wasn’t long because I TORE through this).
As the reader getting multiple perspectives you figure out the broad strokes of what’s going on pretty quickly, but there’s always something else to be revealed, and there are some real doozies.
Another twisty, unhinged winner from Jewell!

4.5 stars
Don't Let Him In is the tale of three women. Nina, recently widowed, Ash, her devoted daughter who has moved home after suffering a mental breakdown and losing her job; and Martha, who juggles her busy life with three children, and running a busy florist shop whilst her new husband travels all the time for work. These women are all connected but don't know why or now, until something happens that opens their eyes to the truth.
The many voices in this novel intersect in ways you wouldn’t suspect. You may think you know these characters, you may think you'll know what they'll do, but you'll be wrong. There were many small twists and I was able to predict one of them, but the rest took me by surprise!
To me this book solidifies the fear that you never truly know who someone is at their core, especially men.
I love that Lisa has finally embraced the darker side of domestic noir/psychological thrillers and I am thrilled that she created a deliciously, disturbing and dark tale of obsession.
It drags on a wee bit at times and becomes repetitive with the narrative of the male main character. I think it was intentional, as it shows how desperate and repetitive a narcissist can be. However I do think some of it could have been cut out.
Overall a fantastic plot, and I am so grateful to have read it in advance!!

I was waiting for a huge twist in this book and I don't feel like it ever really came-- it was fairly straightforward what was happening (if you are familiar with books jumping timelines and various POVs)-- however, with that said, the lack of a HUGE twist didn't bother me-- I kept coming back to these pages and finished it within just a few days. Lisa Jewell is a talented author and this book definitely made me want to continue reading everything she publishes.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Don't Let Him in by Lisa Jewell is a fantastic thriller.
Lisa Jewell is one of my favorite authors and she nails it every time.
There are several different points of views, which I love.
The characters are so well developed and fleshed out.
I loved the twists and all the different characters.
Another amazing thriller by Lisa Jewell that I absolutely LOVED
.

I really enjoyed this one. I have found that I enjoy many of Lisa jewel’s books. Reading both of her most recent books, I can say they are suspenseful and well thought out. She is able to do a mystery thriller right, one that does not necessarily need to start with a murder.

“Don’t Let Him In” kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put this book down. Definitely a worthwhile read for anyone looking for a suspenseful read with thorough character development. Each time I thought I could predict what would happen next, something came along to change my mind.

So not my favorite by this author as I felt it was extremely predictable and there was no huge twist which was surprising in itself, with that being said I still devoured this book and had a hard time putting it down. The characters are so well developed and the unfolding through different points of view keeps you holding on for more.

I love Lisa jewell books. She always leaves you in suspense. She is very good at writing thrillers. This books was great.

There is something that just excites me when reading a book where the characters interconnect, and this book was exactly that. Throw in some nail biting moments and short chapters that will keep you wanting more. The antagonist will piss you off, so be warned. This had the pace of a slow burn, but it was absolutely worth it in the end.
This book has many characters (which can be confusing) but mainly follows two storylines of women who have different lives, similar losses, and a connection that may ruin their lives and put them in danger. I'm not going to say anymore because I do not want to ruin the story. I will say that I was fully invested in the characters and driven by an intense desire for revenge that consumed me throughout the novel.
There's a tone of women empowering women too which I just am so here for. I actually predicted the ending which surprised me because normally I'm not quick on picking up on twists. However, I throughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to any thriller lover. Also it's a Lisa Jewell novel so why would you not run to grab a copy this summer?
(My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is it felt a bit lengthier than it needed to be, but all in all just an amazing story and another well done job by LJ)

Absolutely wild ride of a book. I don’t want to say too much because it was so fun going in knowing very little, but if you loved None of This is True then you’ll love Don’t Let Him In.

I will admit that I am a Lisa Jewell fan, but I think that this is my favourite book of hers. I’ve been in a reading slump lately and this book got me out of it. I couldn’t put it down.

Lisa Jewell is one of my favorite authors, and Don't Let Him In is another testament as to why. Simon Smith/Nick Radcliffe is the central character in this gripping novel. The women who come into his life are at first charmed, wooed and under his romantic spell. Little do they know that the charming facade covers an amoral, selfish narcissist who will take their money, their self respect, and for some, their life. Nick leaves devastation in his wake, and as a reader, we hope that he is exposed and brought to justice. This book is one I could not put down!

loooved!!! I went in with high expectations after a one of This is True, and i was not disappointed! This is a fictional novel version of “Dirty John”- if you listened/watched that and enjoyed then you will love this story.

Thank you Atria for an ARC copy of Don’t let him
in.
Lisa Jewell is one of my favorite authors, her latest story might be my favorite.
In this story we are following a few different POV’s one being a mid 50 year old very handsome charismatic husband and father. We’re also following a grieving family that has just lost their husband/father in a horrible act of violence.
This story had so many twists and turns, I loved the character development. I was truly invested in the outcome for these characters.
In true Lisa Jewell fashion the ending was tied up perfectly in the best satisfying way.
I would and will definitely recommend this book.

Lisa Jewell!!!!!!!!! This was insane 🤯 I literally couldn’t put this down and I read the whole book in one sitting. This book has everything you would expect from a Lisa Jewell thriller. There’s a manipulative sociopathic antagonist (who is truly so much fun to hate), multiple twists, and a very satisfying ending.
Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for this ARC 💛
(This review is posted on goodreads as well)

Fast paced domestic thriller. Twisted story of the ultimate con man and all the families and victims he has left in his wake. This book is fascinating as it explores toxic relationships and the damage they do. Definitely one of Lisa Unger’s best books yet. Literally could not put this book down. Would give way more than 5 stars if possible, not to be missed.

This book starts a little slow and has multiple POV’s. It picks up about halfway through when everything starts to come together. Not the usual psychological thriller by Lisa Jewell, but it ended up being enjoyable.

Another winner from Lisa Jewell. Suspenseful and definitely a little creepy with a stressful yet satisfying conclusion. Thanks to the publisher and netgalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
