Lisa Jewell is one of my favorite authors, a definite auto read for me!! Her books always have the most disturbed fascinating characters.
This book started out so cryptic for me (classic Jewell). Three storylines and it takes a while to know what is going on. Once things start to become clear you are in for the ride of your life. I would love to tell you more but it’s best that you go in blind.
The ending was one of the most satisfying endings I’ve read in a long time.

As a huge fan of Lisa Jewell, I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into this book. However, it fell short of my expectations.
I read the book in a day, but had figured out pretty early on what all of the connections were in the story. Therefore, I spent the rest of the book waiting for the shoe to drop and…nothing.
The book was well written and Lisa Jewell is a mastermind at intertwining characters lives.
Thank you, Netgalley, for the early read.

“Lisa Jewell has done it again! Don’t Let Him In is an absolute page-turner that kept me hooked from start to finish. The plot is masterfully crafted, full of twists and turns I never saw coming. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, the story took an unpredictable turn that left me speechless. Jewell’s writing is sharp, her characters feel real, and the tension builds perfectly throughout. If you love thrillers that keep you guessing, this one is a must-read!”

I mean it's Lisa Jewell. She just can't miss!! I wasn't in LOVE with her last book but this one, whoa! I read through it so quickly and enjoyed it. It was really well done and so fast paced. I cruised through this book and couldn't get enough. I loved the multiple POV's! Thank you to NetGalley, Lisa Jewell, and Atria Books for this ARC.

•Lisa Jewell has done it again! 👏🏽 I was sucked into this book immediately and actually finished in less than two days.
•Paddy Swann unexpectedly passed away after being shoved in front of an oncoming train, leaving behind his wife and two children. In the days following the funeral, a former friend of Paddy’s, Nick Ratcliffe, shows up at the family’s home to reminisce about his friendship with Paddy.
•Ash, Paddy’s daughter, has a bad feeling about Nick from the first encounter. Her skepticism only grows when her mother begins spending a lot of time with Nick, their friendship growing quickly into something more. Ash goes to great lengths to uncover what Nick is hiding.
•My head is still spinning from this book. I highly recommend! It will become available on June 24, 2025. Thank you to NetGalley, Lisa Jewell, and Atria Books for this ARC.

This is possibly my favorite Lisa Jewell book. I couldn’t put it down! Fantastic from first page to last. As you can see, I couldn't wait to read this one! I expect you to be in the same predicament too!

Don’t Let Him In by Lisa Jewell is a gripping page-turner about a manipulative con artist who destroys lives and families. The story felt chillingly believable, with a truly delusional antagonist. However, I knocked my rating down slightly because of the final twist—did Nick or Ash write the last note? Adding that confusion felt unnecessary, especially when so many other women had already shared stories of his manipulation and abuse.

I was extremely excited to read the follow up to Lisa Jewell’s excellent thriller None of This is True. Don’t Let Him In is compulsively readable and hard to put down.
We are introduced to Ash, a twenty-six year old that is searching for her life’s purpose, but is currently living with her recently widowed mother Nina. Her father, a successful restauranteur was killed in a terrible accident and she is left picking up the pieces. Now her mother has started to date a man that Ash doesn’t completely trust and she struggles to come to terms with the new addition in their lives. We alsoMartha, a florist with three children who is starting to suspect her husband is cheating on her. This story of two women whose lives will intersect in a way that none of them could ever see coming captivated me from the first chapter.
Told from multiple perspectives, the action is nearly immediate and pivots in dramatic twists that will leave you wanting more. The characters are well thought out and instantly believable. Although I did guess a few things, there was enough explosive turns that I remained on interested and completely engaged. I give this book five well earned stars and my heartiest recommendation.
I received this advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review and feedback.

I received this ARC last night and pretty much didn’t put it down until I finished it. This is a classic Lisa Jewel novel. If you like her books (as I do) you will enjoy this book as well. There were lots of characters to keep track of but I liked how there were multiple narrators telling the story from their perspectives.

I started reading this book immediately after I was approved for it. Thank you so much to NetGalley, the publisher and Lisa Jewell for the early review opportunity!
WHAT A WILD RIDE!!!! I loved this one and kept telling my husband about it the whole time. In true Jewell fashion there are lots of amazing plot twists and juicy suspense. There are multiple timelines that tie this story together beautifully. If you loved “None of This Is True” then you might like this one even more! It was a fantastic thriller that I was not able to put down from start to finish.

I’m sad, but this one didn’t do it for me. AND BELIEVE YOU ME, I AM BUMMED. It’s difficult to even write a review, because I don’t want to reveal much.
The sprawling cast of characters and timelines are introduced rapid fire in the first 10%. I nearly bust out a notebook and began taking notes to differentiate the lot of them. Eventually, I grasped what was going on and began to make connections. However, due to the shifting POVs I felt quite a bit of distance from the characters. We followed multiple characters as well as had to endure a shift from first person to third person. It was honestly jarring and took me out of the story.
There was a slow discovery throughout the story, but due to the multiple POVs there wasn’t much mystery. I guess knowing who the bad guy was from the get….I wasn’t shocked at each reveal or connection along the way, because duh that makes sense. Of course he did that. He sucks. AND I even guessed one of the final “twists” (which I NEVER DO) even though it didn’t feel twisty, knowing who this whack-job was.
I found it to be suspenseful overall, but not thrilling. I feel like I can objectively say the narrative Jewell wove together was brilliant, but I didn’t find it bingeable or unputdownable.
Thank you so much, Atria Books and NetGalley, for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts.

Wow, I loved this book! If you love short chapters, bing worthy suspense, dark thriller vibes, intense characters, dual POV, a sociopathic main character and some good nightmare fuel, this is for you! I had only read one other book by Lisa Jewel (None of This is True) and loved that one as well. The twists were amazing and overall, the book left me feeling super unsettled which is exactly what I want in a thriller book!
Thanks to Net Galley and Atria Books for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review. 🩷

Another strong story from Lisa Jewell! It was suspenseful and difficult to put down. Although I thought the story has been done similarly before, it was well-written and well-paced. A quick, interesting read!
Thank you very much to NetGalley and Atria Books for the advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Lisa Jewell does it again! This book shows why she’s one of the most loved thriller authors out there. From the very first chapter, you’ll be absolutely hooked. Seriously, cancel your plans—you’re not going anywhere once you start reading.
Nina and her adult daughter, Ash, are reeling from the sudden death of their husband and father, Paddy Swann, who was horrifyingly pushed in front of a train. Just as they’re trying to piece their lives back together, a note from Nick Radcliffe—an old friend of Paddy’s—throws them off balance. As Nick and Nina grow closer (to Ash’s disapproval), their lives collide with another couple, Martha and Al, who are drowning in financial troubles and desperate for a fresh start. But, as you might suspect, Nick and Al have secrets, and they’d do just about anything to keep them buried.
With its short and suspenseful chapters, dual timelines, and multiple perspectives, it’s clear why Lisa Jewell is the queen of complex and dark stories, and this one is no exception.
The characters are so vividly described—flawed, sinister, and layered. When I saw this described as a “kaleidoscope thriller,” I was intrigued—and it absolutely delivered. The twists, the darkness, the drama! This might just be her grittiest novel yet, but it’s brilliant.
If you’re in the mood for a dark, shocking, and twisty thriller that keeps you guessing and gasping, this one is it, y’all!!

Overall a very good book. There was a lot of pieces that eventually came together in the end. I feel like it was well written and planned out. My criticism is that I feel as if started too slow and while most things were answered in the end, there were some unanswered aspects as well.

You ever read a book that makes you so confident and happy in your decision to stay single for the remainder of your life? This is one of them for sure. Good lord. It’s like Dirty John on crack and I loved every page of it.
There were so many times I wanted to jump inside the book and fist fight all of them. The man for obvious reasons but the women to make them wake up and wise up.
This was the perfect spin on the sociopathic con man story as we see the way these women’s lives are spun together. The multiple POVs and jump backs in time made it feel like solving a puzzle which I loved.
Lisa Jewell will always be one of my favorite thriller writers and this book solidified that. There’s just something about the way she writes that hits my brain in the best ways.
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC!

How does Lisa Jewell get better and better with every book she writes?!
Her newest book follows an array of women who all seem to have a connection to the same man, however, the man seems to have a different name and story for every woman. We bounce between present day and past events to sleuth out who "Nick Radcliffe" truly is, and the lengths he will go to to maintain his charade.
'Don't Let Him In' had me up into the wee hours of the night to unravel the mystery and plethora of questionable narrators. I haven't been this hooked in by a domestic psychological thriller in a while! I love this sub genre because the story feels real. A lot of women have experienced men like Nick, hopefully not to the extent of his actions in this book, but his traits are sickeningly familiar. The ending gave me a sense of closure that I only wish could be the ending to many real life similar encounters.
Keep an eye for this book in summer 2025! You won't want to miss it!

A con man comes into the lives of different women and draws them all together. This was a fun book to read and I loved hearing how all the pieces came together. Lisa Jewell never disappoints!

I devoured this bad boy SO FAST. I enjoyed it a ton, Filled with plot twists that I didnt see coming but a fast and easy read.

I thought this book started off pretty strong. There is a sudden death and a family that wants to know what happened and why it happened. As they grieve, they receive a letter in the mail from someone that could have more information for them. As the story progresses, this mystery becomes a lot closer to the family and lots of webs are spun and stories are crossed. The main character really disgusted me and made me feel ick. I do think there needs to be trigger warnings for domestic violence and mental illness among others.
This book felt a lot like a dateline episode. I enjoyed it but from about 40-80%, I felt like it was dragging on. I know the information provided during that portion of the book was important to the story but it just felt repetitive and long. I did really enjoy the end of the book. I felt like there was good character growth for Ash and I appreciated the friendships she made along the way. I think this would make a great audiobook with several narrators.
Thank you Netgalley for providing me this ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
