I couldn’t put this book down since the moment I started it. The book follows a man who wears many different masks to con women and take all he can. That is until he meets his match in the Swann ladies. The story is told through many different POVs and I kept reading to see what was going to happen. I was in suspense for most of the book. There was no big “twist”, but I still highly recommend reading this newest book by the Queen Lisa Jewell!

Applause! Applause! I read a lot of mystery/thriller novels and was starting to think I’d never find another great one again. Imagine my happiness when NetGalley gave me a chance to read and review Don’t Let Him In. The despicable main character may have been created by Lisa Jewell’s imagination, but I absolutely hated him. When a novel involves me emotionally I know I’ve found another exceptional author to follow. Lisa Jewell is now on my favorite authors list.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! This book was so well put together. The thought behind how to organize all the characters and events, yet put the book in an order to make sense is chefs kiss! I was worried I would get confused with so many characters, but it made the book that much better! Highly highly recommend!

4 ⭐️ I’’m a Lisa Jewell fan so I was pumped for this book! It did not disappoint and had me hooked!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Atria Publishing for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Read this one in two sittings - very entertaining even if it wasn’t my favorite of hers. Definitely darker than some of her others and MC’s obsession was sort of enough to give you the chills at time. Saw some of the twists coming, wasn’t liking how the last 20% was resolving, but really liked the epilogue and thought it was well-deserved. Took a second to get into since there are a ton of characters and story lines, but it’s pretty easy to see how they’re all going to come together.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC! Review live now on GoodReads and StoryGraph

Wow wow wow! This book does jump back and forth years which took a minute for me to catch on but I feel this makes the story of this book much more compelling! The ending definitely shocked me! I would recommend this book

The executive editor described this book as kaleidoscopic - continually shifting or rapidly changing. I think this sums up Don’t Let Him In perfectly.
I’ve been a fan of Lisa Jewell since Then She Was Gone in 2018 and have read (almost) everything she’s written since.
From the first page, I could not put this book down. There were twists and turns at every corner. The main male character was incredibly unlikeable. I loved the way everything fit together like a puzzle. But what I loved most was the mother-daughter relationships and the unbreakable bond and lengths at which a daughter will go for their mother.
I’m delighted to have received an eARC of Don’t Let Him In.

Absolutely loved this book! I was gripped by this from the early chapters and finished it in a day. I wondered if I should be taking notes on the characters or years mentioned but found it was unnecessary the more I read. Although the story jumped around a bit in time, there was enough context to follow along. I especially loved the second half of the book that read as more of a detective mystery book while the intensity also increased.
I loved “None of this is true” and this new book from Lisa Jewell was just as satisfying, if not more so than her last.
Thank you to NetGalley, Lisa Jewell, and Atria publishing for the DRC in exchange for my honest review.

Lisa Jewell does it again with another good book! It leaves you questioning if you can ever really trust someone.
I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of this one and was very invested- could not put it down! Short chapters that you just fly through. And I loved the multiple POVs and dual timelines!
However, I did feel a bit disappointed at the end as I kept expecting some big twist and honestly didn’t feel I got it as I was able to guess all the connections and “twists” throughout the story. I did feel very satisfied with the ending though- just didn’t feel there was anything throughout that caught me off guard and kept waiting for a shoe I was certain would drop that just never did- it was all a bit predictable. Had been for sure it would end as a 5 star read with how invested and quickly I was flying through it, but without any shocking twists, it instead became a solid and good 4 stars for me.
I also didn’t necessarily find it to be a thriller, but it was enthralling- I couldn’t wait to see how it would all wrap up.
I do recommend checking it out when it releases in June 2025!

Lisa Newell writes a book and I can’t wait to read it. This newest installment allows us to meet multiple women who lack confidence and are looking for love from a man at a cost. Enters Nick and Al. Who are they really? Who are the women trusting. Don’t let him in and trust him!

I was given the opportunity to read the ARC which was a pretty decent read. It was a little slow for me in the beginning but towards the end it got REALLY good! A man who cons women for a living WOW! I could definitely see this being a movie.

Amazing as ALWAYS. I could not put this down for hours, and of course finished it in one sitting. What I love about Lisa Jewell the most is that just when you think you’ve figured her out, you haven’t. The plot of all of her books are so wildly different, the endings vary to happily ever after to absolute dread. This ending had pleasantly surprised me. I love love love her!

One of the most unlikeable male characters I've read. Super twisty to the point where I almost wanted a notebook to keep track of the different storylines. I enjoyed it!

THANK YOU to Atria Books for gifting me a copy of my MOST-ANTICIPATED 2025 book release.
NONE OF THIS IS TRUE by Lisa Jewell is probably my all-time favorite thriller, so I was DYING to see what she came up with next, and I can assure you, she does not disappoint!
I've truly never read another thriller that was similar to this and I read A LOT of thrillers. I literally stayed up until 1AM reading this and I never do that! I was obsessed with every single character in this book and I was EATING it up!
I really don't want to say anything about the plot, because the best way to enjoy this book is by going in totally blind and letting things unfold one by one!
As with all of her books, this one has me wondering if Lisa Jewell is okay because of course it's disturbing...so be prepared for that!
This is going to be the thriller of the summer for sure!

Thank you to Atria Books and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy of Don't Let Him In in exchange for my honest review.
Nick and Al are guys with a lot to hide. Lots going on in this story with a satisfying ending.
I really enjoyed this one.

Thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for providing this book, with my honest review below.
After reading Don’t Let Him In I believe more than ever that Lisa Jewell’s unique gift is that she is able to write stories that (while largely focused on those that are vulnerable) are distinctly different from one another within the same genre. There’s no cookie cutter formula to her books, and each is a standout with complex plots and characters.
In Don’t Let Him In we experience the ripples from one man’s life, a swindler who preys on vulnerable woman to finance his delusions that he’ll be more than he’s capable of in his character. Alongside this perspective we follow that of two women, Martha who is saddled with a newborn during what should be more comfortable years preparing for retirement with a husband who is worthless, and Ash, who experience the tragic death of her father and had her life interrupted just as it started prior to that. I was curious throughout as to how these stories would come together, and come together they did so perfectly. The build up here is just as satisfying as the climax and ending, and the way Lisa Jewell keeps her readers engrossed is masterful.
I loved reading this as I believe anyone else will, and can’t wait for Lisa Jewell’s next book (I’m greedy)!

5 stars-For all of you who thought Dirty John was a despicable human being, meet Al, Simon, Nick, and the list goes on. Lisa Jewell does a stellar job of balancing all of the characters all of the while ratcheting up the suspense! This is for sure my favorite book by her! I loved this one! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!

This book had me hooked from start to finish. Everytime I thought I knew what was going to happen, Lisa Jewell surprised me and that’s what sets this book apart from the rest. However, it did get confusing at times because there were quite a few side characters and it was hard to keep up with. Overall, it was a very captivating and enjoyable book.

Lisa Jewell is an automatic read for me, and Don’t Let Him In only reinforces why. This fast-paced psychological thriller had me hooked from start to finish—I devoured it in one day! The twists and turns kept me guessing, though I’ll admit, at times, I was confused about who was who.

‘Don’t Let Him In’ is a psychological thriller that questions whether you ever truly know those you let into your life. Ash Swann is concerned about the new man in her widowed mother's life, but Nick Radcliffe seems to have an answer for every lie she tries to catch him in. Martha Grey cannot rely on her husband Alistair to be home to help her with their daughter, and yet his frequent work trips do not help their finances either. As these women, and more, question the stories they are told, their lives begin to intersect and they uncover a chilling realization that they all never should have let him in.

Thank you to Atria Books and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book for my review. I was already excited to read another novel by Lisa Jewell as I really enjoyed her 2023 novel ‘None of This is True’, and I was not disappointed by ‘Don’t Let Him In’!
The intertwining perspectives and timelines are engaging and make this story a page turner. Even during the POV of a non-loveable character, I found myself searching for more clues to the larger story at play. I enjoyed seeing the strands of the story all come together in the end. Some reveals were predictable while others left me gasping. I made myself read the final chapters aloud to keep myself from skimming ahead on the page, and I was cheering on the women as the story came to a close.
