This is one of the best books I’ve read in awhile. Lisa Jewell never disappoints and continues to be one of my favorite authors. This book at a lot of stories to follow but it made me want to keep reading more and more.

Despite being a story that has been told time and time again, Lisa Jewell's newest thriller was uniquely captivating. Jewell used multiple points of view to unravel the story, and the chapters took place in both the past and present; flashbacks were used sparingly to reinforce the ways in which the past connected to the present, and everything felt well thought out and well written.
My only real complaint is that the POVs weren't written in a clearly distinguishable way; there were so many characters that it was difficult to keep who-was-who straight, and the chapters themselves weren't separated by character at all. I think it would have been more cohesive to list whose POV it was at the beginning of each chapter.
Overall, in true Lisa Jewell fashion, Don't Let Him in was a fast-paced and entertaining read.
Thank you NetGalley and Atria Books for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Wow. What a wild ride. I didn't see that coming. I love Lisa Jewell so much. Cannot get enough of her writing.

𐙚 Domestic Suspense

Lisa Jewell’s latest thriller, Don’t Let Him In,
is told through three points of view and multiple timelines. The story follows Nina, a grieving widow and her new mysterious man, and Martha, a small-town florist and her frequently absent husband. As their lives intersect, secrets unravel, revealing shocking truths about the men in their lives.
The tension builds fast with short, punchy chapters that make the book hard to put down. The final twists are jaw-dropping, solidifying Jewell’s reputation for expertly crafted thrillers. This is a read for
those who enjoy a dark, twisty tale that will leave them questioning who they can trust.

Thank you for providing me with an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own. ・❥・

UHHH OKAY freaking girl power. The feminist in me is absolutely swooning over this entire story. The plot twist didn’t even have to be massive. I was so invested in the lives of these women and these characters. This is Lisa’s best work in my personal opinion. I will absolutely be recommending this to all of my thriller lover friends!! Thank you to NetGalley and Atria books for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Just finished my advanced reader copy of Lisa Jewell’s newest thriller, Don’t Let Him In. Let me first say thank you to Simon & Schuster and NetGalley for allowing me to read this book early.
This is a fast paced thriller, with quick chapters, an array of characters and just when you think you know, no you don’t.
Nina and Ash have just lost their husband and father respectively, Paddy Swann. Still grieving, a letter arrives from an old co-worker of Paddy’s, Nick. He writes Nina to say how sorry he is for her loss. Nina and Nick begin a correspondence that quickly blooms into more. All the while Ash is unsure of Nick and his intentions.
Martha is a very capable mother of three, owns a flower shop and a beautiful cottage. But what she can’t seem to keep track of is her husband, Al. She begins to wonder where he is when he leaves for work business. Especially after an emergency leaves her scrambling for help when he can’t be reached.
What is it about both these men that have these woman around them wondering, if they are getting the whole story.
I truly enjoyed this book, I was engaged and found myself wanting to finish as fast as possible to find out what was going on. I gave Lisa Jewell’s Don’t Let Him In 4 stars.
Hope you enjoy it too!

A solid 3.75 ⭐️. A gripping read from the very beginning, but I found the plot pretty predictable. I love Lisa Jewell’s writing style and will continue reading whatever she comes out with next.

Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for this advance readers copy in exchange for my honest feedback. I feel so lucky to get an advance copy of a Lisa Jewell book!!!!! First of all. This book leaves you on the edge of your seat. Or bed. Or wherever you choose to read this at!!!! Will I be able to sleep at night after reading this. Maybe not. But it’s worth it. The short chapters get me every ding dang time. I keep on turning. And the twists and turns are relentless. Love a good thriller. And this one hits all the right places!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed Lisa Jewell’s latest!
A book that keeps you wanting to read is always a win and this is definitely that book. It makes you wish at times you could interfere and other times just glad you’re no where near these characters. I also always appreciate books with “good” chapter lengths, meaning any short chapters that keep you going with some mid sized sprinkled as well. Makes it hard to not say “just one more chapter”.
The wide cast of characters is fantastic and easy to understand and relate to. Overall will definitely be recommending this book and purchasing it when it comes out!
Thank you to #NetGalley and #AtriaBooks for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Don't Let Him In by Lisa Jewell pulled me in immediately. Lisa always writes a good book and this one was amazing!
Three women are all connected unwillingly to one man. The story is told through multiple timelines and POVs. I was hanging on every word. I have not hated a character so much as I did for one of the characters in this book.
Lisa's writing of this character had me so angry that I had to keep reminding myself that he was a fictional character.
Three women, a mysterious death of a well loved restaurant owner, one man, and all the people connected through the lives of these women, makes for a very messy and unputdownable thriller!
Thank you to Netgalley, Lisa Jewell, and Atria books for this ARC! Don't Let Him In will be released June 24, 2025.
Make sure you do not miss it!

This book was not my cup of tea, but I could see myself recommending it to fans of Jessica Knoll or Rachel Hawkins. The female characters blended together for me, to the point that I was wondering if they were all the same woman also going by pseudonyms. Each woman falls for the same tricks by the same man and it was just disappointing. Each time I thought the book was nearly over, I checked the page count and still had 100 - 200 pages remaining. The ending was satisfying, and I do foresee patrons who enjoy a slower build enjoying this book, but I would not put this on my personal top lists.

From the first page to the last, this book was utterly captivating. A true Lisa Jewell masterpiece, it boasts a gripping plot, unsettling characters, and a series of jaw-dropping twists. Imagine a chilling blend of None of This Is True and Dirty John – that's the chilling cocktail this perfect, twisty tale delivers. I could barely put it down, savoring every page. A 10/10 read, this will undoubtedly be a contender for my top book of 2025.

Thank you so much NetGalley. I absolutely loved Don’t Let Him In. I couldn’t put it down. It is dark, twisty and wow the ending! A great domestic thriller and fantastic read by author Lisa Jewell!

Oh my goodness!! Did this just become my favorite Jewell book ever ??
Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor and gather my thoughts because I just went through the most intense read of my life .
This was the most ADDICTIVE pulse pounding , jaw dropping read this year !
I do not know how the author was able to keep up with the story without any errors because our narrator was the most diabolical , narcissistic psychopath that had trouble keeping up with his own lies.
Trust me when I tell you, you will sit down and say oh I have time to read for an hour and read a few chapters , DON'T make any plans because you will NOT be able to put this down , you will be glued and on the edge of your seat the entire time and you will want to finish it in one sitting like I did.
I lost a night sleeps over this one because It keep me up into the wee hours of the night .
I do not want to give anything away , but read this if you like:
* Unreliable Narrators
* Unhinged Characters
* Narcissistic Characters
* Fast paced Reads
* Twist after Twist
* Suspense
* Pure insanity !!
If you know me ,I love books with unhinged characters and I loved that Don't Let Him In was male and he was the most deranged character ever , and the title is exactly as it is "Don't Let Him In"!! or else ....
Honestly I could not put this down , it was such a brilliant crazy psychological thriller that was worth losing sleep over and is probably one of the best thrillers I read for 2024 , I was engrossed the entire time! The pacing was pure perfection to the final hours of watching it all unfold was true gold ! This book deserves all the stars in my opinion .Chefs Kiss !
I feel so lucky to be have gifted this ARC, Thank you Netgalley, Atria Books and Lisa Jewell for this gripping ARC!

I can always count on Lisa Jewell for an incredible mystery with so many twists and turns. At first the bouncing between stories got me a little lost, especially with timelines and such. But quickly you catch on and cannot put down this page turner! May be helpful to add more descriptions to the chapters to better delineate who the narrator is for each chapter. Otherwise, no notes! Amazing read

2.5 rounded up. Lisa Jewell is one of my favorite authors, so I am sad to leave such a low rating. The book has classic Jewell features- fast pacing, short chapters, etc., but IMO, lacked her usual creative twists. I did not care about any of the characters which made it hard to invest in the story. The switching from first and third person depending on the timeline and POV made it seem a bit off.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Lisa Jewell did not disappoint with her new thriller, I couldn’t put it down!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Atria bills for an advanced readers copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Lisa has gone darker with Don’t Let Him In, and I am here for it! The story follows three woman; Martha - who has three children including a baby and a florist shop who’s struggling to keep it all together, Ash and her mother, Nina who have lost their Dad/husband and are trying to heal in the aftermath of his death.
I don’t want to give away anything so all I’ll say is that there are twists and turns everywhere. This book will make you think to try and piece it all together.
Character development is so good in this book it’s almost scary, she gets deep into their minds and psyche, and does a beautiful job of displaying it on page.
Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I could not believe I was approved for a Lisa Jewell ARC so I was obviously very excited to read this and can say the thriller queen has done it again!
Every time I thought I had guessed who “he” might be, I would be shocked by the next flash back chapter. This book is unhinged and twisted and I predict this is going to be a hit once released!!

HE THRILLER QUEEN DOES IT AGAIN!
This may be the most deranged and unhinged book of hers yet and I absolutely LOVED IT. I don’t want to give too much away, but in true @lisajewelluk fashion this book will have turning the pages until the end, and then have you thinking, “what did I just read?” BRAVO!

📚: Don’t Let Him In by Lisa Jewell
⭐️: 3.5/5 (rounding up on #goodreads)
Lisa Jewell is always an auto-buy author for me, so when I got a copy of her forthcoming book, Don’t Let Him In, I nearly screamed with joy.
Three POVs, one truly evil misogynist of a man. This is best to go into blind plot-wise - and buckle up, because this plot is a ride.
A rounded up score because this is a solid read, with twists and turns that are dizzying. However, I didn’t find myself compulsively reading, needing to know what’s going to happen next. I was able to put this down, even at pivotal points, and I don’t know why.
Big thank you to Atria Books via @netgalley for the digital ARC in exchange for an honest review. Don’t Let Him In is out on June 24, 2025.
