I truly couldn’t put this book down! It offered an intriguing read, filled with moments of genuine emotion. While the prose was often beautifully written, there were times when it became a bit too flowery, occasionally detracting from the overall narrative.

The sisters at the center of the story came across as somewhat average in personality, making it challenging to develop a deep emotional connection with them. It was heartbreaking to witness how their suffering was overlooked by those around them, adding to the weight of their trauma.
Overall, this was a thrilling and emotional read, though not without its flaws. By the end, you’re left eager to discover who the culprit is— which sister could it be?

The stories were so seamlessly and smoothly blended together. The ending i didn't see coming for once. Incredibly written, definitely pulls you in and makes you fly through it.

Omg is what I can say bout this book. I was not expecting what I just finished reading. The way you get towards the end of the book and your brain just clicks and puts the pieces together. I did not expect for sir to be the priest and Sam to be Alice at all. I just thought it was multiple povs and it is but in different times. It was really well wrote honestly loved it.
