What a wonderful, feel good, easy read! Absolutely loved both the main characters and their storyline, plus the spice was in point!

I genuinely can’t believe that this series is over! I loved reading about Rebel Blue Ranch and the family found in this series. What a way to end! I love Dusty and Cam so much, they are precious baby angels who must be protected at all costs! Not to mention how much I loved getting another book with sweet little Riley. To its core, this was a romance book and by that, I mean that this couple was romance personified. The yearning, the things they said, the flashbacks to them passing notes in high school! It was just pure and sweet.

Dusty, the man that you are!! This was a beautiful ending to what has been such a dreamy series. I have loved escaping to Meadowlark and Rebel Blue Ranch. Every character we have had the luck of meeting I will now hold so close to my heart, especially Dusty and Cam. Their story was every bit stunning, I loved the flashbacks and it was clear as day that no matter what happened, those two were meant to be together and they couldn't have been more perfect.

‘Wild And Wrangled’ by Lyla Sage is the fourth book of the ‘Rebel Blue Ranch’ series, and this time we are treated to the long-awaited story of Cam and Dusty - high school sweethearts separated by life’s circumstance. When he comes across her desolate in the Devil’s Boot bar in a white dress after her fiancé abandoned their wedding, the stage is set for the second-chance romance of our dreams!

Like all of the novels in the series, the story is told via dual POV narrative, and I especially liked that in this one there were also flashbacks to scenes that happened and letters that were exchanged 15 years ago. In the past, I loved Dusty’s emotional openness and enjoyed his and Cam’s tenderly blossoming romance - especially the scene where he was forced to read a sweet note to her in front of the class! In the present, I admired Cam’s fierce independence and her love for her daughter Riley and Dusty’s patience and kindness.

This book was the happily ever after that the series deserved, revelling in the joy of Cam and Dusty while also revisiting Emmy & Brooks, Wes & Ada and Gus & Teddy… the wholesomeness of the extended Ryder family (and especially the way Cam and Gus co-parent Riley so joyfully) was beautifully displayed.

This gets four stars from me and was a really fun and romantic read. I’d definitely recommended the series to anyone who loves well-developed characters, cowboys and HEAs.

Thanks to Net galley and Quercus for my advance reader copy of this book which is the 4th in in the Rebel Blue Ranch series

In this book, we are following the story of Cam and Dusty. I fell in love with Dusty; he's absolutely a superstar. I adore the second-chance romance aspect of this book and loved seeing how we had glimpses of their past to get a better understanding of where both Cam and Dusty are today and how their relationship has developed over time and how it changed. I loved how this book is extremely character-driven, and both Dusty and Cam have strong character development. Dusty, in particular, grows from a shy, reserved individual to a confident and assertive person, while Cam evolves from a reckless and impulsive character to a more thoughtful and considerate one.

I'm not the biggest fan of the single mom trope, but I've enjoyed myself immensely, which I think speaks to Lyla's incredible writing talent. This book had so many feelings. We know Cam from the periphery of other books, and it's about time we got her story. And what a story 😍

This book had me throw my hands up with frustration, kick my feet with cuteness and loveliness, and if I could blush, I would 😊😂
So, what can you find in this story in terms of tropes?

*single mom
*cowboy
*second chance
*friends to lovers
*childhood sweethearts

What an amazing end to the series 😍

I was so lucky to head back to Rebel Blue Ranch early for Cam & Dusty’s second chance romance - which has become my favourite of the four books in this series!

𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧…
🩷 second chance
🤠 it’s always been you
🩷 cowboy romance
🤠 found family
🩷 he has a tattoo for her
🤠 single mum
🩷 dual timeline

𝙨𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨…
Single mum Cam is stood up on her wedding day… by a man she was marrying to please her controlling parents. When her childhood sweetheart Dusty comes to her rescue, they begin to rekindle their relationship.

𝙢𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨…
If you know me you know I absolutely love an it’s-always-been-you, second chance romance - the heart squeezey angst when it’s done well is just 🤌🏼 perfection. And my goodness Lyla does it so well here 😭

I loved both Cam and Dusty so much - Cam is an overwhelmed mother who just wants the absolute best for her daughter, and her relationship with Riley is adorable 🫶🏼

And Dusty… he is a man *obsessed* and I absolutely loved it 👏🏼 The yearning, he yearns SO hard - it’s perfect 😭 Dusty is just the most wonderful, steady, (tattooed) golden retriever, and definitely my favourite man of this series 🥹

The found family grows again in this book - it’s always such a wholesome trope and I love life at Rebel Blue so much 🤠🫶🏼

I really did think this had the potential to be a 4.5 or maybe even 5 star read at the halfway mark! But for me the 3rd act drama really didn’t work, and it wrapped up so quickly that a couple of things felt unresolved.

BUT this book is great, and such a good conclusion to Rebel Blue 🥹 I can’t believe this is our last trip there! (Also Emmy’s bonus chapter was a perfect ending and had me in tears 🥲)

I was soooo excited to have my wish granted for this book! Thank you so much Quercus!
I have to be honest, books 1 and 3 were my favourites in the series. Dusty and Cam were lovely, but for me, there was more angst between them in the previous books in the series than their own.

One of the best installments of the series! I loved how we went for 2 characters that I wouldn't say were the 'main' characters but we're so loveable!!

Well, I don’t know what to do with myself now this series is over. Done and dusted will always have a special place in my heart, but this is coming in at a very close second. Cam has me rooting for her happiness from the first moment she was introduced, and I loved watching that happen, especially with Dusty. Dusty himself was steadfast and sure, and willing to do what it took to make Vam’s happiness reality.

I loved the way the series was tied up, with the epilogue spreading that not every couple needs the same future to be happy. Also, I’d do anything for Amos Ryder, he might just be my favourite character of all.

I can’t wait to see what Lyla writes next.

Lyla Sage made sure to finish her Rebel Blue Ranch series with a bang with Cam and Dusty. I’ve loved each of these 4 books so much that it’s sad to say goodbye, but Cam and Dusty made for a perfect ending.

I loved how their love survived all this time, how each was still pining through the distance, and grew stronger when they reunited. It was such a slow burn as they found their footing again as adults, after having been away from each other for so long. Cam is quiet and holds herself back, not letting herself want or enjoy, and it’s frustrating but as you read her story, you understand where she is coming from. Dusty is strong and loving and hopelessly dedicated - you just know he’ll do anything for Cam and Riley, but he needs to prove it to Cam. From page 1, you definitely had the feeling that they truly belonged together, then just needed time to find each other again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've loved the whole rebel blue ranch series, I'm sad to see it come to an end, but what a way to wrap it all up!!

In this final book we get:

✅️ Second chance romance
✅️ Friends to lovers
✅️ Single mum
✅️ Small town romance

At last, we get Dusty and Cam's story. After seeing them both pop up in the other books hinting there was a past between them, that didn't end to well, this was definitely more of a slow burn than some of the other books in the series. We go between flashbacks of their younger years and what happened there, as well as getting to see letters that Dusty had written but never sent. The flashbacks help us have a better understanding of what happened between them and what led them to their current situation. After Cam's wedding doesn't go ahead, she finds herself spending time back with her first love whilst trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. They both had their issues to work through, and there was some self sabotage too, but it all came together in the end! Dusty and Cam's story was well written, I ate it up! Oh and I LOVED the bonus epilogue, too, with some of our favourites popping back up!

Thank you to Quercus books and Netgalley for the arc of this book for my honest review. It was a great read, and I can't wait to see what Lyla brings us next.

4.5⭐️

So to start off the review ( I will keep this review short n sweet ( like SABRINA CAPENTERS ALBUM) . Let’s begin by saying he calls her Ash / angel!! As nicknames . This is a slowburn / second chance & i usually don’t like second chances but this one is good !!

Whats a nice change from the other 3 books in this series the spice doesn’t start until 59 -64% into the book!! This is good for me considering recently spice has been a hit or miss for me . The sex scenes in this book are actually emotional and sweet ( they have me swooning ) - especially from the things dusty says)

I do also want to say if you want instant romance between these two this may not be for you ( in present time anyway ) - you see a lot of their romance in the past via flashbacks mostly through cams pov.

I said to myself before I picked this up that this could be my fave in the series ( and I think I was right !!

I definitely will say out of all 4 men in the series ( dusty might have to be my fave) - he’s not grumpy , there is no hate to love trope between them . This is just literally a second chance , he falls first, he’s an actual cowboy, single mum romance ( cus Reminder Camille is Riley’s mother !!

There is no real 3rd act breakup & the ending was perfect . The perfect way to end the series

I am a big Lyla Sage fan. I have loved the previous three books, and I loved this one just as much! It was a beautiful way to end the series. The story it told of Cam and Dusty would not have worked as well if it was told sooner in the series. We have such a better knowledge of the Ranch and the familial relationships because of the previous books. I was invested in Cam and her daughter. I wanted her to get her happy ending. And that was all before this book even started!
Cam and Dusty together were great. Their banter was top notch, and I enjoyed that Dusty brought a different side out of Cam. We get to see flashbacks of them in high school and I loved this so much. It added much needed context for their relationship and why they were how they were current day.
There were a few little things that didn't really get resolved and just faded away (some stuff with her parents), but I honestly don't care. I was here for Cam and I was here for Dusty (pierced nose and tattoos all).
It was also fun to see more of the other characters from previous books. They never felt forced into the story, rather a natural part of the characters lives.
Cam's 7 year old daughter continued to feel age appropriate, and was a delight to read.
I can confidently say Lyla Sage will continue to be an auto-read author for me. Can't wait to see what she does next!

Review: Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage

Lyla Sage has done it again and I am absolutely feral over this book. I’m usually not big on second chance romance but Cam and Dusty may have converted me. Watching them fall, break apart, and find their way back to each other had me kicking my feet and clutching my chest. They are just meant to be 😭

The pining. The tension. THE FLIRTING. Chefs kiss 🤌🏻
The way Dusty knows Cam better than anyone else and goes after what he wants without hesitation? I am WEAK.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it forever, Lyla Sage just keeps outdoing herself. If you love second chances, small-town romance, and couples who are destined to find their way back to each other, drop everything and read this immediately.

I loved this so, so much, just as I have every other book! I couldn’t wait to explore Cam and Dusty’s story and finally find out their history and I wasn’t disappointed. Will definitely be re-reading on release day!

I was ecstatic to get an ARC of Wild & Wrangled, the conclusion of the Blue Rebel Ranch series sharing Cam and Dusty’s story. It is / has:
•F/M second chance romance
•Friends to lovers element
•Pining
•It’s always been you
•Dual POV, dual timeline
•Interconnected standalone, book four in the Blue Rebel Ranch series

I devoured Lost and Lassoed in one evening in one sitting and Wild & Wrangled would have been the same but I wanted to savour this story. I loved it and it is my favourite in the series. Reasons why ⬇️
•I adore both main characters, who are incredibly likeable and I longed for them to be happy. So first up, our tattooed and pierced MMC Dusty. Dusty is a top tier book boyfriend (I’m not saying anything else as I want you experience him in the story but I will say I have thought about him daily since finishing this book). And then we have our FMC Cam, who I also loved, in my opinion what Sage does so well is not defining Cam solely as being a mother in this story.
•I wanted to know Cam and Dusty’s back story, how they became estranged. Their reconnection had the tension I desired. We have moments of their past interspersed throughout which is an element I always love in a second chance romance.
•I adore the found family element to this series alongside a sprinkle of small town, this shone through here with the relationships from friendships, families and romances.

This is the perfect conclusion to this series, one I can’t wait to read again when it’s released in April.

I love Dusty. I think the world needs more people like Dusty in it. People who have good souls and help people out, not because they think they might get something out of it, but just because they genuinely care about people and want to make their day a little easier/brighter/better. People like that are the true treasures in this world.

I had a great time reading this book. It just had relaxed vibes, wasn’t too angsty, was super sweet and didn’t really have a third act break up. It was more of an argument that lasted a day and a chapter. Also, there was this bonus scene in the back that made me proper cry. People around me were worried about me. It was sad and sweet and wrapped up the series in a little bow.

Thanks to #netgallery for access to this ARC.

Wild and Wrangled is the perfect end to what I can only describe as an unforgettable series!.

I adored the characters and seeing their story develop, alongside them as individuals grow throughout.

Honestly, I adored everything about this book! A series I will be shouting about for a long time.

My absolute favourite in the series. Her best work. I adored them all but this one just hits different. I loved the yearning and pining over so many years and how they found their way back to eachother after all. I really felt the depth in their relationship and their individual flaws and growth throughout. The bonus chapter at the end actually made me cry, it was so bittersweet . I’m so sad this series has come to an end but I’m so excited to see what Lyla does next!
