Love Maggie Shane! I have read a lot of books by this author and this one as the other does not disappoint.

If you read the last book you'll recall Mason gets injured (being the uber-awesome, strong silent-type book hero that he is), and since he's not quite sure if new girlfriend Rachel would be comfortable giving house calls (ooh er), he decides to hire outside help during his recuperation. This doesn't go over particularly well with Rachel, not through jealousy, but because her spidey senses start tingling over a feeling there's something not quite right about Nursey Nurse. They both forget all about that though when they hear that Mason's nutty sister-in-law has broken out of the mental hospital and taken her two boys with her who knows where. Mason fears the worst and they both set out to rescue his nephews...
This was another perfect adrenaline-fuelled instalment of this awesome light horror mystery series. I love Rachel and Mason together, no matter how wobbly their beginning, and as always, the climax to the mystery had me totally unable to put the book down until the wee small hours.
Another perfect read from Shayne.
