3.5 stars
A little mystery with the romance. I still don't get the sci-fi elements after I finish it. Is he dead or is she? And, What's p with Ally, the cheerleader?
It's definitely worth a re-read because their chemistry is cute. It's just the magical realism part that I have a hard time grasping
Many thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are of my own

This was a beautiful love story. It was wonderful to see how these characters learned so much about themselves and what was really important to them. This affected me a lot because of what I am going through right now in my life.

5/5⭐️ I don’t give 5 stars to romance books often, but this one pleasantly surprised me! I loved everything about this book. This second chance romance story follows Lyla, who revisits her hometown and reconnects with old friends and new. There wasn’t a dull moment, the pacing of the story was on point. Highly recommend reading this book when it comes out on April 29, 2025! Thank you to Annie Rains and Kensington publishing for allowing me the opportunity to read this early!

A pleasant read overall. The story follows a girl who returns home and relives the events of her last summer there. While some repetition slows the plot at times, it’s still an enjoyable book.

I don’t think Annie Raines can write a book that won’t earn five stars. I love the way she writes relatable and realistic characters but can also add a dash of magic and adventure into her plots. Highly recommend

I can not suggest this adorable book enough!! I loved the two main characters and their sweet journey of love. Add this to your 2025 TBR lists!

Summer in a Bottle was an entertaining read which focused on second chances, regrets, evaluating what’s important, overcoming fears, misconceptions, friendship, and moving on. The story fast-paced and kept me engaged. There was angst, joy, frustration, and plenty of emotion. This is a fun read and I had trouble putting it down.

This book is perfect for those who enjoy a feel-good romance with a touch of magic, a deep dive into personal growth, and a satisfying emotional payoff. It’s a beautifully written reminder that life, though unpredictable and full of challenges, can still offer us the opportunity to rewrite our stories, as long as we find the courage to take that first step.

At 29, Lyla is returning home to help her parents out as they go on vacation and she cleans out their house that's for sale. She's just ended a long relationship and needs a break.
She gets home and unburies her time capsule from when she was 18 and it seems the same things are happening to her again. She gets a flat tire where she had before and the same movie is playing again. Then she runs into Travis, her best friend from high school... A cute read!

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a good book. I loved the story and the writing so much. The characters were great and the story flowed smoothly. Will definitely read more books by this author in the future.
