The narrator absolutely crushed this audiobook and I found myself drawn in by the fast pacing of the author.
No Place Left To Hide has countless twists that kept me guessing until the very end, and it was one that I couldn’t stop listening to. I love multiple timelines that trickle information to the reader and this is a book that executed that extremely well.
Unsettling and fast-paced, I recommend this one for fans of YA horror, thrillers, and suspense!

I loved this authors other book, That's not my Name, so much more than this book. But I am thankful for the ARC through NetGalley and the publisher. The Characters in this book just didn't do it for me--they were all unlikeable. And I felt the before and now were both predictable. Nothing really shocked me by the end. I was hoping for a better twist or surprise.

I love thriller and horror YA books, so this one was right down my alley! I listened to this audiobook and could not stop listening until the very end. Multiple surprise TWISTS and that ending, OH MY GOD!!! Just unbelievably FANTASTIC!
Brooke, a high school student with a perfect GPA, strict parents, and a coveted image, is trying to gain that perfect, cool image back after a horrific accident at her lake house party last year that left one friend dead. An accident in which many blamed Brooke, however, she was left blameless by the law. The receiver of escalating threats and vandalism, Brooke is "bullied" by her best friend to go to a party, at the lake, where her crush will also be.
All is cool and well until Brooke and her bestie head home....
(I can't say much more than that otherwise I'd give it all away)
I was left FLOORED with all of the twists and turns, especially the LAST TWIST! Huge SHOCKER!

I have mixed feelings about this one.
On the one hand, It was a non-stop ride that had perfectly placed time jumps. It was very propulsive and a quick read because you didn't want to put it down!
I think where it loses me is the YA aspect. If you love YA books, you are going to love this book! I just am not a huge YA reader. I also found the whole book very predictable. All of the "shocking" twists had no shock value when you already know what's coming. This could be in part due to the YA nature of the book, it could also be because I have read so many thrillers.
All in all, this book wasn't my favourite, but I do think it is going to be well loved by many!

Ahhh I absolutely LOVED this and devoured it! Once I started it, I couldn’t stop!! I did not guess the ending at all which I love! I can’t wait to see what else Megan Lally writes because so far I’ve read two of her books and I’m obsessed. This book like the last had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, guessing what was going to happen.
I honestly wouldn’t consider this YA but overall I would recommend this to everyone!! It’s sooooooo good!
So grateful to have been give the audio for this! It was done so well! Loved it

This review is mainly for the audiobook of No Place Left to Hide, but I will get into the plot as well at the end.
I felt that the audiobook quality was great. The sound was very crisp and clear and the narrator, Justis Bolding's enunciation was great making the audiobook easy to hear and follow along. I often listen to audiobooks while I drive and a lot of times it's hard to hear what the narrator is saying over all the sounds of the road and traffic, but I had zero problems with this audiobook. My only complaint would be that the "robotic" voice of the Unknown Caller could have been better. Overall, I thought the narrator did a great job and I thought her voice fit the character well.
As for the overall plot and characters. I did not like any of the characters, but I especially didn't like the main character, Brooke, from the very beginning. I spent most of the book wondering why we were in her POV and if it was just a me thing that I didn't like her. 😂 It was odd being in her POV. I thought the story in general was a bit repetitive and predictable. At the same time, it had its fun thriller moments. I think the young adult audience this book is intended for would enjoy the high school setting, the Mean Girl's vibes, and the exhilarating car chase.
No spoilers here, so I will leave it at that. I look forward to going back into Megan Lally's catalog to read her first novel, That's Not My Name.
Thank you Netgalley, Recorded Books, and Megan Lally for the advanced listening copy.
No Place Left to Hide is out now!

After reading and LOVING That's Not My Name, I was hyped to get into this one. Another YA thriller by Lally that sucked into its suspenseful plot and kept me engaged and wondering what would happen. There was lots of cattiness, drama, and mean girl vibes in this story. I was invested in finding out who the culprit was, and my guesses leading up to the end were wrong. The plot was fast paced and kept me entertained even though these girls irritated me. The tension that the author built was palpable, and kept me on the edge of my seat during the last two-thirds of the book.
Justis Bolding was the perfect narrator for this YA thriller. She did a great job with the different characters and helped build the suspense
Thank you NetGalley and RB Media for the ALC in exchange for my honest review.

The alternating timeline was confusing at first for me but once I got used to it the story really worked for me. I have to say the ending is what really made this a four star read for me. I also enjoyed the narration for this audiobook

Thank you NetGalley and RBmedia for this ALC.
What the heck did I just listen to? Justis Bolding was a phenomenal performer. She’s the reason I devoured this listen today.
This story was a blender of Mean Girls, Cruel Intentions, and I Know What You Did Last Summer. It was twisted and fun, the perfect outlet for some of that female rage building in some of us.

I did not like this as much as the first book. I feel like it was very predictable and I really couldn't have cared less about what happened. I just read to make sure my assumptions was right. I'm glad I had the audio book to help get through it faster. I hope the author's next book is more like the first. I haven't counted her out yet, but this was a miss for me.

This book was definitely a young adult offering, which I didn't realize until I began to read it. It had a lot of teenaged angst and drama that many adults do not want to deal with, but the writing was good. The premise was a little "out there" but it fit right in with the drama that the YA set loves. While it was supposed to be a book that "could happen" some of the events in the book were too out there to be believable. Although I mostly enjoyed the book, it would not be one that I heartily recommend.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
Wow! This book was so fast paced and thrilling! I loved the fast pace because it kept me so intrigued and engaged. This book was such a wild ride and I was there for the whole thing. I was in awe of the twists in this book and the ending. These characters were all insane and unlikeable which really added to the wild ride.

Place Left to Hide by Megan Lally is a gripping psychological thriller that keeps readers on the edge of their seat from start to finish. The novel follows Brooke, a high school senior who has worked tirelessly to maintain a perfect life—perfect grades, perfect looks, and the perfect future, all in an attempt to escape the haunting consequences of a traumatic event known only as "the incident." As Brooke finally nears her dream of getting into a prestigious university, she allows herself a celebratory night with friends, unaware that it will soon turn into a nightmare.
After a fun evening with her classmates, things take a dark turn when a mysterious truck begins tailing Brooke and her best friend on a desolate road. Someone knows the truth about the incident, and they're willing to do whatever it takes to expose it. As the tension builds, Brooke is thrust into a terrifying confrontation with her own past, where survival is no longer just a matter of physical escape, but also facing the truth she's spent years running from.
Lally's storytelling is sharp and suspenseful, with well-developed characters and a plot that escalates quickly, creating an atmosphere of constant unease. Brooke’s struggle with her own secrets and her fight to protect herself from a dark past are compelling elements that make the book both thrilling and emotionally intense. The novel dives deep into the psychological toll of living with fear and shame, while also exploring themes of trust, survival, and the cost of keeping secrets.
No Place Left to Hide is an unrelenting, fast-paced thriller that will appeal to fans of suspense and psychological drama, delivering a powerful story of survival under pressure.

That was definitely an ending I didn’t expect 😂
Fast paced quick read, finished in one sitting. Lots of drama and action. Crushes, girl fights and car chases. This is definitely a YA book as the main focus is two high school girls coming to battle over a boy and family drama, however I found I didn’t mind. The main character was interesting enough to me that it kept me reading to see how it all ended, which was definitely with a bang 🤣
I love the audio narrator (Justis Bolding) she is one of my favourite voices to listen to!
Thank you to RBmedia and Megan Lally for the ALC, this book published in January!

No Place Left to Hide by Megan Lally was a great YA mystery.
The twists and turns were captivating.
The characters are engaging.
And the wound was great.

This book will keep you on your toes. I loved how the author jumped right into the story from page one. Brooke has it all and a bright future to look forward to. She works hard to keep her image pristine. She had an incident she is trying to escape. Who is calling her, following her? It's a game of cat and mouse. Will she figure out who is after her and her reputation?

Well that was a twist!! This was so good!
First I loved this because the main characters name has my name too 😜 but this was such a good read. I liked the back and forth of the timeline and figuring out what happened then and the what’s happening now? I thought I knew… but it got me! Had such a surprising end and I really enjoyed it. So devious. I did find our main character a little annoying at times. Nothing too big tho. I enjoyed the narration and was completely sucked into this story. This author has def become an auto buy for me. In fact had to grab a hard copy for a book trophy 😎

A pulse-pounding thriller that hooks you from the very first page. Brooke is a compelling protagonist, balancing the weight of a past she wants to escape with the pressure of maintaining a perfect façade. The tension builds masterfully when a simple celebration turns into a nightmare, and the relentless suspense kept me flipping pages late into the night.
Lally excels at crafting an eerie atmosphere, making every shadow and turn of the road feel ominous. The twists are well-executed, and while some moments felt predictable, there were plenty of surprises to keep things exciting. The emotional depth of Brooke's character adds another layer to the story, making it more than just a thriller—it's a tale of resilience and facing one's fears.
If you love thrillers with strong female leads, dark secrets, and heart-racing suspense, No Place Left to Hide is definitely worth the read. A solid four stars!

Brooke is a perfectionist and a spoiled rich kid. She's hoping that an incident earlier wont come back to haunt her. I kind of expected the ending, just not the extent of the deviousness Brooke is capable of.

ARC Review
2.5 ⭐️
The first third was pretty slow, and then it started to pick up once the truck started following her, but not enough for me to really care about the plot. I felt like it was a stereotypical YA mystery/thriller, with not a lot of substance.
