Suitor Armor: Volume 2 by Purpah is so good. I loved every single second of it and I couldn't put it down for a second. I rated it 4 stars because I really loved the story.

3.5/5 stars
The webtoon moving from the webtoon format to a book looks amazing! I would recommend anyone reading this with on an eReader to try to find a way to read in color because the artwork is stunning in full color!

I have been a fan of Purpah’s ‘Suitor Armor’ comic on WEBTOON since the very beginning; I remember getting immediately absorbed into this epic fantasy romance, gobbling up each available episode, but then feeling sad once I quickly ran out of new episodes to read. Seeing that ‘Suitor Armor’ is now being traditionally published for more of the world to access really just makes me so dang happy. And getting to revisit this world thanks to NetGalley & Ten Speed Press is truly a gift.
So obviously, this being Volume 2 of the series, if you’re reading this review but haven’t read Volume 1, it’s pretty fair to say that you may run into some spoilers ahead, even if I’m not intentionally trying to share spoilers. That being said - this comic truly gets better & better with each episode &, now, each volume. Volume 2 expands more on the world building but also on the character-building. The focus is still Lucia & Modeus, but I really love just how many characters we meet & spend time with, & that they all feel so real & flawed & well-fleshed out (apologies to Modeus for that phrase choice). I loved learning more about the world outside of the Castle walls & getting more of the lore/history of this world, even though themes begin to turn dark in this volume.
And I just have to say: Modeus is truly one of my favorite characters in anything EVER. I love him, I love his story, I love learning more about him, & I love his newly found sass/attitude. This will forever be a Modeus fan page.
‘Suitor Armor’ brings so much out of me: laughing, crying, swooning, worrying, & gasping…often all of those happening within each chapter. Purpah has not only given us absolutely stunning & dynamic art, but a story as layered as any other epic fantasy, comic or not. I want to stay in this world forever, so I will just be over here binging episodes of the comic & anxiously awaiting each new published volume.
Thank you (again) to NetGalley & Ten Speed Press for providing an advanced digital copy for review. All thoughts & opinions expressed are my own.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to continue reviewing this series!
Suitor Armor is a very unique story because it keeps many mysteries about each character, about Lucia and Mordeus' past. The first volume is a bit slow, but by the second volume you can understand what is happening as Lucia discovers her ability to use magic, with Mordeus as the only one who knows the truth.
I can't wait to continue reading it on Webtoon.

Suitor Armor: Volume 2 is a wonderful continuation of the story from where it left off in the first installment. This graphic novel is an engaging read making it easy to finish in one sitting. Unfortunately it ends in a cliff hanger and I can't wait to find out what happens next! I would definitely recommend this book!

Very Sweet second installment! second installment the first book felt a little slow. I did actually enjoy this volume a little more and already pre-ordered it for shelf.
Definitely a quick read with beautiful sweet drawings

This tale left me at the edge of my seat. The Plot follows a war between the fairies and humans. Our main characters ate caught in between and seek to see peace but it will come at the cost of life long friendships. The main romance has just enough tension to keep things interesting. Highly recommend for romantasy lovers.

I was obsessed after I read the first volume, so I was so excited to get an arc of the vol 2! And it did not disappoint. I loved the contination of Lucia and Modeus' story, as well as going deeper into the mystery of the farieies and getting some answers, but a lot more quesions as well. I also liked seeing more of Kirsi and the King, and how their relationship is developing. And the way this volume ended makes me so excited for volume 3.
As always, the art style is gorgeous and really brings the story to life.

I loved the storyline and the depth given to the characters. Seeing an animal/faerie die was so disturbing and upsetting for me. I'm still curious on the developments on Lucia and Modeus' relationship in the next volumes.

This series honestly gets better and better.
Lady Lucia was appointed the magically created suit of armor, Modeus, as her bodyguard. After the fairy broke into the castle in volume 1, they didn’t want any big scary fairies to hurt her. If only they knew she was one herself… she’d be dead.
We found out a little bit more about the war between fae folk and humans in this book. More like we found out it had ended 100 years ago and they’ve been pretending it’s still going on to scare the people. There’s nothing like having a villain to be scared or, but more and more it’s seeming like it’s the humans that everyone should be scared of.
They were keeping the fact that Modeus is able to speak a secret, but after a hunt for a fairy creature and an arrow almost hitting Lucia, his anger at the knight who shot it gets the better of him and he screams in front of everyone. So the cat is out of the bag?
This volume brought a lot of new things to light, making me extra ready for the next one, seeing as how we met an elf named V on the last page that is going to give answers on how Lucia will be able to stay safe in the company of humans, as well as more answers on the war that ended years ago.

What a unique story! The art is just as beautiful as the first volume, and there is a ton of great character development and plot development going on here. Fast-paced but still understandable.

I am more invested in this series than I should be lol. We pick up right where book 1 left off, and Suitor Armor: Volume 2 does not waste time in getting to the action! I adore the illustrations, and the characters are so well-developed! This one has a lot more lore and definitely dives into the darker side of the universe, but still a fun, delightful read overall!
Thanks to NetGalley, Purpah, and Ten Speed Press for the chance to read and review! My opinions are my own!

A magical and intriguing tale of a fairy undercover as a human, political conflict, and a scary-looking robot with the biggest heart!

I've been a fan of Suitor Armor on Webtoon since it's initial release and I was so excited to be granted access to an ARC of volume 2! Purpah's method of slow worldbuilding works in a marvellous way as we as the audience descend into the interpersonal relationships and personalities of all the characters. From knights, royalty, mages and more, each character is distinct and possesses a unique charm, while the socio-political world quietly and not-so-quietly shapes around them.
I cannot wait to see what comes in Volume 3!

I truly enjoy this series. It's sweet but full of depth. Each of the characters show interesting growth in this volume and of course I am mostly here for Lucia and Modeus because they're my favorite characters. I love seeing Modeus continue to learn and understand how the world works and what things like 'death' actually mean and while his primary reason for being was to find and kill fairies, his instincts really aren't to harm but rather to protect and with guides like Lucia, Baynard and Peres, he's certainly in good hands. Even Lady Kirsi and King Reimund are growing on me in this volume because they show their vulnerabilities a bit more here which definitely makes them more likeable characters. The core group of characters spend the majority of this story on an expedition and I really enjoy seeing more of the world and learning some new information about fairies. The art is just as beautiful and colorful as the first volume and I look forward to the next one!

Volume 2 is here and we are back with Lucia,Modeus, and all the other characters of this kingdom.
I absolutely love the slow burn relationship of Lucia and Modeus. They discover so much of theirselves together in this installment.
The art style once again is great! I love the bold use of jewel tone colors that create such a vibrant world.

Thanks to NetGalley and WEBTOON for the ARC!
Volume 2 of Suitor Armor didn't disappoint, and the ability to read in a printed format really did the story justice! The reading experience was still well thought out and the pacing was nice, I think the set of chapters included in this volume kept up the tense atmosphere as Lucia is trying to figure out where in the court she will fit in once Kirsi gets married and becomes queen. It was also nice to see some character relationships grow between the newcomers of King Reimund, Quinn, and Modeus learning to utilize his voice.
As a longtime fan of Suitor Armor, it's great to see it formally published as printed books, and I'm so excited to see the next few volumes.

I love this series! It is so well-written and reads like an epic fantasy novel. As far as graphic novels/webtoons goes, this is on par with Lore Olympus in quality of story and artistic expression.

In the next installment of Suitor Armor, we delve more into Lucia's past, Modeus's sentience, and court politics.
I absolutely LOVE this world. Lucia has my whole heart. And I really like how Modeus is slowly coming into his own. The romance between them (if it is romance) is a definite slow burn as they both navigate their place in court. I also liked to see the budding relationship between Kirsi and King Reimund.
All in all, this was a great installement, and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

I was hooked reading the first book and this one is just as good. I CANNOT wait for the third book. I need more, the characters are great, the art style is amazing, the magic and background of the characters just suck you in. I need to know more.

This volume contains chapters 18-38 of the webtoon comic. A bonus chapter featuring the continuation of Baynard and Peres’ story is included at the end.
This volume picks up right where the previous one ended. Lucia is now an apprentice for the court mage and is learning about magic. A lot of big things happen in this volume with someone finding out the truth about her being a fairy, Morpheus’s ability to talk being revealed, and Lucia continuing to hunt for the truth about the fairies. There were a lot of important events that happened in this that changed everything for Lucia and I am very curious to see how she deals with it going forward.
Also I am very curious to find out what Lucia unveiled at the end of this volume since it was clearly something horrifying or scary.
