Wow. What a ride.
The first 30% was a bit slow as we get introduced into the world and characters. But then Eden starts to become a very suspicious character (btw Eden is an exchange student from England with severe allergies allegedly) and Jo (the mum) starts to count the time until she’s gone. But then she disappears and the husband gets arrested and wowow everything I thought was going to happen ended up being not correct. Overall great read with minor notes.

Thanks to the author and Netgalley for the ARC and the possibility to read this book.

📚✨BOOK REVIEW✨📚
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Three Little Lies by Danielle Stewart

This was a twisty, bingeable read that had me flipping pages all weekend. If you're into messy family secrets, control-freak moms, and exchange students who might not be what they seem... buckle up.

Jo is that mom—on top of everything—until her seemingly perfect world starts unraveling thread by thread. From a bratty daughter to a suspiciously secretive husband… oh, and did I mention the exchange student goes missing? 👀

Watching Jo spiral while clinging to control was honestly the best part. A solid domestic thriller with just enough bite to keep you hooked.

Will be published on my blog and IG Sunday 7/6

Three Little Lies is a tense psychological thriller that explores the cracks beneath a seemingly perfect family life. Jo and Everett’s marriage starts to fall apart after a shocking confession, and the secrets they try to hide quickly spiral out of control. Danielle Stewart does a great job building suspense with twists that keep you guessing until the end. It’s a gripping read about trust, betrayal, and how far people will go to protect the ones they love. If you like domestic thrillers with emotional depth and plenty of surprises, this one’s definitely worth a look.

This book was captivating, thrilling, and at times so mysterious that no matter how hard I tried, I could not predict what was coming.

I’ve read a lot of thrillers and can usually piece things together, but while I had my theories, the conclusion still caught me off guard—in the best way. No predictable twists here!

The plot was tight, with no noticeable holes, and the morally gray characters? Chef’s kiss. I adore a cast where everyone operates in that murky middle ground.

The multiple POVs worked perfectly—not too many to be confusing, just enough to keep the suspense high.

If you love an unpredictable thriller with compelling, complex characters, this one is definitely worth the read.

Marshall expertly weaves past and present timelines, gradually revealing the layers of deception and the complexities of the characters' relationships. I typically don’t enjoy this style of writing, but this book may have changed my mind! The suspense builds steadily, keeping readers on edge as they navigate the twists and turns of the plot. The exploration of themes such as trust, betrayal, and the consequences of past actions adds depth to the narrative, making it more than just a typical thriller.

This book had me hooked almost instantly!! If I’d had the time, I would’ve finished it in one day.

After being in a pretty long reading slump, this book ya led me right back out. The twists were engaging and I enjoyed the author’s writing.

The plot could be considered a little outlandish, but with the right pacing/writing (which this totally had), it made for a 5 star read.

With this book, Danielle Stewart might’ve just been added to my auto buy list!!

Thanks to NetGalley & publisher for this ebook.

I was excited to read this one! The plot had me intrigued and ready to devour the story. Unfortunately I was left feeling a little underwhelmed. I guessed the twist early on and so the ending fell flat. However, it was still well written and a decent, quick read

Three Little Lies is a relentlessly gripping and intense psychological thriller that will have readers glued to the page. The story plunges into a nightmare scenario as a woman's seemingly perfect life unravels under the weight of her husband's escalating lies.

The compelling twists and turns made this book impossible to put down. While it starts as a slow burn, the pacing is actually perfect for unraveling this complex story. You won’t see the twists coming! I look forward to reading more from this new-to-me author.

Jo is a neurotic American stay at home mother who spends her life helicoptering over her teenage daughter and son, who has many complex food allergies, while her husband travels around the world with work. When complimented into taking an exchange student, she thinks this might help her and her daughter to get on better and find common ground, however things don’t go to plan when the exchange student goes missing and some home truths come to the surface.

This is an excellent book which had me gasping on several occasions. An absolute must read.

I really enjoyed this one! I found myself thinking about the story and what could possibly going on when I wasn’t actively reading it. I really related to Jo with her anxiety, especially surrounding her son’s food allergies (my son also has severe food allergies). It really enjoyed the main twist and did not see it coming, although I felt the very final twist at the end was a bit underwhelming for how much I feel it was *hyped* to be this horrible dark thing that happened in Jo’s past. If you like domestic thrillers, I’d give this one a shot !

"Three Little Lies" I loved the dual timelines - they don't always work, but Danielle was able to beautifully weave the two together while building a great story. With the two timelines, I felt every chapter was another secret from the girls' past being revealed. Could not put it down!

This was a fast paced thriller, I really felt myself flying through the chapters with this one. It kept me hooked and eager to read on. This would have been a higher rating if I hadn’t of guessed the plot twist early on in this book. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

This was my first Danielle Stewart book which makes me want to read more of her writing! The twists and turns in Three Little Lies kept me from putting this book down. The twists and turns were unexpected and reminded me of a Jeneva Rose book. It has a slow build which allows you to learn back story and build up to what happened. Definitely a must read.

Jo who is trying to be the perfect mom and keep her children safe from the world. Ashton had serious allergies to food and Megan is a rebellious 12 year old that is tired of her mom being so protective. A mom who helps with foreign exchange students approaches Jo to help with getting a young girl with food allergies a chance to come to the US and Jo agrees it may be the perfect step to allow her to reconnect with her daughter Megan. But Jo is also starting to deal with issues and lies in her marriage which they try to have a date night out to start the conversation when their foreign exchange student Eden goes missing and no one knows what happened.

Three Little Lies by Danielle Stewart is an engaging psychological thriller packed full of suspense and tension. With secrets and betrayal paired with a fast paced narrative, this book is sure to have you hooked!!

Jo is just trying to keep her family safe and happy. With a troubled upbringing of her own, Jo wants more than she had for her own family. When Jo is talked into hosting an exchange student by a persuasive mom friend, she thinks that the experience could have a positive impact on her daughter especially. Eden is a 17 year old girl from England and at first she seems charming and pleasant. But soon things don't seem like they are adding up and Jo begins to wonder who she really let into her house? And then when Eden goes missing with only a trace of blood left behind in the garage, Jo's nightmare continues when her husband is arrested for the crime. Who is Eden really? What happened to her? Is her husband capable of the crime he is being accused of?

Three Little Lies does an excellent job building up the suspense and tension making you think you know what is going on and why, them the rug gets pulled right out from under you!! My biggest problem lies with Jo, our MC. Her decision making skills are infuriating and she made it hard to relate to her. I did like the multiple POVs, being able to see the different perspectives really helped fill out the story and put the pieces in place for a satisfying ending!! Fans of Shalini Boland and K.L Slater will love this book!!

Thank you to NetGalley, Danielle Stewart, and Bookouture for this ARC!! Publication date: March 13th.
