I have spent my whole life living with disordered eating.
My mother struggled with her weight, and at some point everyone in my family decided that I should be her diet buddy.
While I can look at photos and see that I wasn't fat, I always thought I was.
It is only in my 50s that I am able to see that controlling how much I eat doesn't help me control anything, and everything else.
I identified with Shavin, and with her struggle. It's real!
Funny, horrifying, and honest - this is a great book.
I received this free from NetGalley.
