Here’s the deal: I did not enjoy this book. I struggled through it. The issue was simple - the characters are not likable and I didn’t care what happened to them. I give all authors a lot of credit for putting the words on paper. It is a very vulnerable process. I don’t like feeling the way that I do about this book. I also don’t like it when authors review their own books and skew the average. This author definitely did this on many platforms and I find it distasteful.

Here’s the premise: rich woman with no backbone gets taken advantage of by a man. New man is a big ole jerk, but they fall in love anyway and have a lot sex. Falling in love doesn’t redeem them. It doesn’t correct personality flaws that turned me off.
