I LOVED this! It picked up right where Lore's story left off! And I liked how we explored a new world with the addition of the sirens and the complication of Asher's character and true motives. Lore stays true to who she is in the end and puts her community over herself at every turn. This book was still cozy with a lot of danger

This book, just like the first was beautifully written. It’s is full of magic, adventure, detailed world building, tension and betrayal, amazing characters, and all the same things I loved about Lore of the Wilds. This books is cozy, but also has an element of high stakes tension that held my attention. I also love a good duet, we need more of those!

I ate this book up! I loved that we picked right back up where we left off. It really drew me in immediately and I was sucked into the story all over again! I loved all of the twists and how some of the unanswered questions from the last book came back to life in this one. I thought it was a good way to end the duology and the narration made it even better!

This is a beautifully written and emotionally enriching conclusion to The Lore of the Wilds duology. I loved how Lore’s journey took a darker, more adventurous turn, set on the open ocean with magical threats, betrayals, and high-stakes choices. Her growth felt natural and powerful, especially as she grappled with trust, love, and her responsibility to her people. The romance was heartfelt without overshadowing the plot, and the worldbuilding, especially the oceanic setting, was vivid and enchanting. I appreciated the balance of action, quiet moments, and moral complexity. This book delivered on every level for me: character development, immersive magic, and a gripping story. A satisfying and hopeful finale that left me wishing for more stories in this world.

I really wanted to enjoy this book more. I liked the first book, but I wanted to see more from the second. Unfortunately, it just didn’t pan out for me. I feel like we saw the same pacing and tone issues and I really just struggled to get into the story and stay invested.

I do think this story has a lot of potential and I liked the sirens that were introduced but it just wasn’t enough overall. I didn’t see any chemistry between Lore and Finn and everything between them felt too forced. I think this honestly would’ve been better kept as a YA series.

I will definitely check out more from this author in the future but this one just didn’t do it for me unfortunately.

An absolutely epic ending to this series! There was so much to love about this book - the world building was fantastic! Loved the addition of the underwater kingdom and the sirens. I loved how Lore really came into herself more in this book, how she used her intelligence, her drive and her strength to help her people. Lore and Finn are a match made in heaven. Loved seeing their story and their strong connection take hold in this book. Finn is such an incredible character. He is so in tune with Lore's needs and loves her so unconditionally. He was always rooting for her, since the very beginning. An absolute standard! Not gonna lie, I was a fan of Finn & Lore since book 1. I was so happy to see they were end game.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this as an arc!

Unfortunately I think I’d give this 2-2.5⭐️

I struggled through this book, it took me 15 days to read it. I read the first book in 4 days. Reads like a ya but has descriptive scenes so it’s more new adult.

Felt a little rushed/busy compared to the first one. I honestly was able to skip pages throughout and still follow the story.

Relationship with syrelle went from love/hate to none existent to loathing without notes on why the transitions happened when they did. At 61% the way she is acting with him doesn’t make sense from the last interactions they’d had. And then at 80%ish she cry’s when he leaves her. Idk man confusing

While I was rooting for her and Finn at the end of wilds, their relationship seems rushed and the chemistry is gone in this book. Their escapade scenes don’t feel very natural and feels like they take place at tandem times. Feels like the author wanted this book to be more spicy than the first but it just didn’t hit right

In the first book it’s paced well where it focuses on lore finding and learning how to use the book. This one she has somehow, saved a siren kingdom, found and bound book 2, traveled back across the ocean saved her people and killed the fae king.

Another great installation from Analeigh! It was our pleasure to dive into this story again and to get to interview Analeigh to feature her for Volume 5!

Rating:⭐⭐⭐/5

I really wanted to love this book because I had been anxiously waiting for it since I finished Lore of the Wilds, but sadly, some issues caused me to lower my rating. We pick up immediately after the intense cliffhanger from Lore of the Wilds, so there are no dull moments at the beginning. I did not reread Lore of the Wilds before starting this one, so I had to play catch-up a little bit as I was first reading, but it might have been a more seamless reading experience had I done a reread before, because I was confused if some of the characters were new or old in the beginning.

The pacing was an issue for me because it was prolonged in some parts and very fast in other parts. There was a lot of repetition when the characters were on the ships, which slowed down the pacing. Then, the pacing picked up when the characters encountered the sirens, and slowed down again when they moved to the new island, and then sped up again towards the resolution.

The storyline also felt somewhat disjointed. There were about four different subplots going on throughout the story, and it seemed like too much to tackle all in one book. The resolution of all the subplots began to weigh on me because the resolution either came too quickly or too long, and there seemed to be no high stakes except in one scene while they were on the boat. With so many storylines happening, I did not feel like the stakes could build enough for me to be motivated to see the resolution. Even the main point that was carried over from the first novel seemed to be rushed at the end. I would not mind a novella to truly wrap up the story, as I still yearn for a more definitive conclusion.

While I loved Lore's character, I felt some of the other characters' development was lacking. Finnadryl seemed to lose all characterization and became 'the love interest.' He was only there to cater to Lore and make sure she was 'happy' and taken care of. He seemed to lose all of his own motivations. There could have been an interesting development of his character after the adventure with the sirens, but it was very surface-level. Their physical component of their relationship felt rushed to me and disjointed within the story. The attraction was built quickly and seemed to be a central point of connection between the two.

In contrast, I loved getting more of Syrelle's backstory, but I felt we were missing his motivations. The author kept hinting about why he behaved the way he did, but I did not honestly believe it. He also kept confessing his love and that Lore would understand one day, and I never believed it. I wish there could have been an honest and genuine conversation between Lore and Syrelle, but her anger and his miscommunication prevented that from happening until the very end.

Overall, I think the potential was there, but it was too chaotic for me. Just as I was getting motivated about one storyline, it would end, and then it would quickly move on to the next storyline. It wasn't easy to feel attached to many of the characters besides Lore. Even when characters from the very beginning of the first novel reappeared, it was hard to show excitement due to the fast pace towards the end. Plus, Lore seemed to only think about them and her human family when they were right in front of her because they did not seem to cross her mind a lot throughout the rest of the book, so it was hard to feel her joy and desperation to get her back. She mentioned wanting to save the humans from the fae, but she did not mention her human best friend, aunt, uncle, and the children until the very end.

Thanks Harper Voyager and Netgally for the free physical copy and eArc in exchange for my honest review!

So great to come back into Lore's world! Lore has found herself under the control of someone she thought she knew, thought she trusted. And everything has shattered now, but as he searches for the other grimiore, she also tries to figure out how to save Finn.

Adventure on the high seas, monsters, enemies, and secrets woven into the fabric of Lore's life as we follow this story. Such a fun ride!

What I loved:
The characters- they are well written and realistic in their flaws.
The writing- Sbrana's writing flows so easily and is so enjoyable to read
The setting- both on ship and in the Siren's territory, I loved the setting!

What did not work for me personally:
The sex.. like we are in the middle of a world that is dying, in a strangers home, in a public room.. is now really the time?!
The plot- I was engaged and invested in book one, anxious to see how it worked out. This one didn't quite grab me in the same way.

Overall, still a fun read and a solid ending.

Thank you to netgalley for the earc.

ore Of The Tides was a rollercoaster and a journey. Not a bad thing either of those. Especially when you think about how Lore was betrayed by someone she trusted and gave her heart to. Navigating life after that is hard, and adding to that she only had a short while to come to terms with it. Honestly surprised she didn't go crazy. The author did a fantastic job with setting descriptions and the dialogue between various characters. Lore grew more into herself as the story progressed. Finn, oh my! His way with words was ummm, if I had pearls, I'd constantly be clutching lol I thoroughly enjoyed the book, with the banter, spice, threats of violence (Lore should've slapped Ms Prissy Pants , consequences be damned), and even the sad moments. There is so much I could say, but that's leading to spoiler territory. So go grab this duology if you haven't already. Its worth the read.

Lore of the Tides bounces around between conflicting plot points. The majority of the book Lore states that she will NEVER forgive Syrelle. But in the last 20% or so she magically changes her opinion and decides that she can't live without him and loves him. Despite the immediately previous scene describing how much she hates him and how he has changed. On top of that she constantly discusses how she is going to build a wall around her village and alludes to cutting Finn off altogether to protect her village. Then they have some spicy time and she immediately changes her mind. Lore's character just seems all over the place. I'm not against her being with both Finn and Syrelle but the entire book gave no hint that she would be returning to Syrelle and consistently points to the opposite. Not only that but Finn hates Syrelle and threatens him several times throughout the book but then decides that he is totally on board with saving him. The book continues to state that they forgive him for everything. It just didn't align. Had it not been for this direction of the book the first 80% or so was a solid 4 or 5 stars. Also what was the point of making a big deal with the pixie captain. It didn't add anything to the story other than a few pages of typing. Also the entire plotline of the series is based on freeing Lore's people and yet the book on focuses on the actual conflict the last 10% of it. Instead the focus appear to be the adventure with the mermaids.

I received a digital ARC of this but I also preordered it. The cover is gorgeous and matches the first one. This is the conclusion to the duology and picks up immediately after the massive cliffhanger of the first book. When I read Lore of the Wilds I finished not sure how I felt about the book. It was fine, it didn't include as much in the library that I expected, but because of the ending it was going to heavily rely on Lore of the Tides on whether or not I would like it. I'm sorry to say I was not a fan. I really wanted to love this duology, but I could not get into it. The only part I really enjoyed was when they were under the water but even with that the book felt like it was just Lore lusting over the two men. Even though the one had betrayed her at the end of the first book, apparently that didn't dampen her lust even though she kept saying she shouldn't feel attracted to him. The world could have been interesting, but the characters did nothing for me or pissed me off. I will be offloading my gorgeous copies 😭

Really enjoyed this sequel, it built on the relationships and world of the first book while still being a surprising new story. The new characters and adventures in new places enabled Lore's growth as a person. It makes me want to reread the first one again too.

Let me start by saying, I do not like love triangles... but Analeigh Sbrana absolutely killed it! The world is so beautiful, and I loved being able to see more of it.

I loved seeing Lore grow as a character, but I also loved divinig deeper into how Lore feels about both MMCs. It's complicated, raw, and completely honest.

Honestly, I loved this duology from start to finish. I feel as though it is a fresh take on fae, and the magic system is so unique. I can't wait to see what else this author does in the future.

Thank you, NerdFam and Harper Voyager, for providing me with this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun, active, interesting conclusion to the Lore story. My attention span/patience loves that it was a duology, and yet, I could live longer in this story, if there was more story to be had.

The characters all have things to like and things to eyeroll about, but that's what makes a good character.

Thanks to NetGalley, Harper Voyager and Analeigh Sbrana for this eARC.

I think I enjoyed this one more than the first! There was so much pain and angst mixed with adventure and more magic!
And that end had me gasping at parts (if you know, you know!)
Even the banter in some of the lighter parts of the story really made it enjoyable.
I would recommend this duology to any fantasy/Romantasy fan.

I loved the Lore of the Wild so much and was so excited to this one blew me away! Snabre's writing style is just so immersive. The prose is almost lyrical, painting such vivid pictures of the oceanic settings and those fantastical creatures. The pacing drew me in slowly at first, letting me get lost in the lore, and then it really picked up with some thrilling moments. It's a magical journey, full of wonder, real danger, and a super compelling look at destiny and power.

A Tidal Wave of Emotion and Magic!
"Lore of the Tides" is an absolutely stunning conclusion to the "Lore of the Wilds Duology" that swept me away from the very first page! Analeigh Sbrana has truly outdone herself, crafting a world so rich and characters so compelling that I found myself completely lost within its pages.

Lore's journey in this book is nothing short of incredible. From her harrowing imprisonment to her unwavering determination to save her people, her growth is palpable and inspiring. I was rooting for her every step of the way, feeling every heartbreak and every triumph as if they were my own. The expansion of the Fae world, particularly the mesmerizing aquatic settings and new magical creatures like sirens, was just breathtaking.

And the romance! Oh, the romance! The complex, push and pull dynamic kept me on the edge of my seat, full of tension and undeniable chemistry. The exploration of trust, betrayal, and the sacrifices we make for love and for what's right was handled with such depth and nuance. I adored the themes of found family and inner strength, which truly resonated.

If you're looking for an epic romantasy that delivers on all fronts action, magic, heartfelt emotion, and an utterly captivating plot then look no further. "Lore of the Tides" is a must-read that will leave you completely satisfied and wishing you could dive back into its enchanting world. Absolutely brilliant!
