Having loved the first book in this series, No Romeo, I was really looking forward to the story of Fin and Mila in No Saint, and it did not disappoint. Donna Alam’s distinctive style of writing - a wonderful combination of seduction and hilarious banter - was en pointe. The way Fin’s and Mila’s story unfurled slowly - mostly without big outside drama - and the insight into their internal angst was lovely. I enjoyed having a story that so well portrayed people’s insecurities and anxieties and how the love of a good person allows them to overcome these obstacles. Donna writes good strong female characters, feisty and independent, and Mila was the epitome of these traits, and loved because of them not despite them. Of course there was lots of delicious spice too. These two couldn’t keep their hands off each other. A great read. Thank you to Donna, Montlake and NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book.

This book had me clinging to my kindle from the very beginning to the very end!
Not only did this book make me fall in love, it also broke my heart and then mended it. And there is nothing 1 love more than a story that can give me emotional whiplash.
I couldn't have asked for a better story, but paired with the author's amazing writing style… I was in heaven. The author had me falling in love while laughing and crying. The amount of emotion I was feeling while reading this book is surreal!
The characters were all very intricate and complex which made it easier to fall in love with them.
Fin seriously has my heart. The man would stop at nothing to show Mila how much he loved her! I will admit, at first I couldn’t understand why he seemed to instantly love her, but then I realized I didn't really care to dig too deep into it.at the end of the day, we all just want a man to prove how much we mean to them and Fin does not disappoint. I love that we get to see multiple sides of him. He is more than just a millionaire playboy.
Mila was a mess but I loved her for it! Her life may have been falling apart, but she kept trucking on. For this, I truly felt like she was more relatable.
Because of Mila's past, she was reluctant to pursue a relationship with Fin. Honestly, if I was in her shoes, I would feel the same way. Her hesitance was totally justified.
There was a tiny bit of mystery to this story.it was obvious someone or something was hindering her career but who or what? This wasn't a major part of the story but it was a nice little tidbit that kept me hanging on. I will say. I did not see that reveal coming.
Also, the banter between the main characters was unmatched! There was times they had me laughing so hard.
The ending was glorious! Mila finding her voice was everything I think we all needed.
Overall, I loved this book. Not only were the vibes right, but I didn't have any problems with this book. Hands down, I would read again.
I recommend to anyone looking for a millionaire romance. Especially if you are looking for an age gap.

That was an amazing spicy romance like I loved them.
Attracted to the plot, caracters, the tension between them was to die for.
To read ASAP

Absolutely loved and ate up this book the story and development of the characters was amazing. Great read I highly recommend.

I received a copy of this to read for free from NetGalley.
This really really really wasn’t my cup of tea. I figured out that from the first page alone but dragged myself through the rest of it regardless. The conversations give me the ick and the fmc is annoying. I give it 2 stars for the idea of the plot being interesting but this is a NOPE from me.

Loved this spicy book which includes finding self love and accepting who you are. Truly heartwarming but also wanted to pound the characters to speak out!!

While I enjoyed this book, I felt it a little disjointed at the beginning, getting the setting down and the whole wedding planner stand in as a bride. As the story evolved, the story did flow better. Myla and Fin did seem to fit together and as the story flowed, it was apparent Fin had no intention of an annulment. Overall a good read.

This was a fun and spicy romance. When Mila is hired to plan a high society wedding in Indonesia, what she doesn’t count on is the groom’s bestie being someone she hooked up with previously. Neither of them expect what happens next, an outrageously funny fake wedding with far reaching consequences!
I would have given this book a different title but I definitely enjoyed the vibes in this one.

This is the second book in the series but you can read it as a stand alone. The premises was good, I liked the chemistry between the Fin and Mila but agree with some of the other reviewers...being in the same location throughout most of the story made this a bit boring and rushed the romance it also made for lack in the storyline so the focus was too much on Mila's chip on her shoulder towards Fin. It got old and was bit disappointing. What kept me going was the banter between the two of them, I enjoyed that.

Mila is just a normal girl struggling after her wedding was called off. As a wedding planner, she helps make other's wedding day dreams come true. That's how she ended up on a beautiful island waiting for the bride and groom to arrive. Once they arrive, they announce that they need a diversion. Their wedding details have been linked to a tabloid. They are asking Mila to pretend to be the bride and their friend will pretend to be the groom. Then the biggest surprise of all... she knows him. The man shi is pretend marrying is the man she has not been able to get off her mind for months after their tryst in a coat closet.
From here the plot goes wild. It is a rollercoaster of feels and seeing Fin prove he is more than how the media portrays him is pure perfection. The way he and Mila banter back and forth and the way they are trying to avoid what could be is... it's just ugh. Donna Alam has written two characters that you will fall in love with when it comes to these two. The absolute vulnerability of them makes them feel so real which is also rare thing for a writer to possess. At times the story does feel a bit predictable but it is still a great romantic read for a rainy day... or any dya really.

Fun accidental marriage under the influence of shrooms, Fin and Mila had a one night stand prior to their marriage. They were surprised to see each other again after months, and Fin a billionaire playboy who hasn’t stopped thinking about Mila and Mila who is trying to rebuild her life and career after having been targeted by online bully’s. Mila’s resistance of the making the marriage work was too hard but was justified. Fin wants to try to make the marriage work and convince Mila that they are good together. The only thing I felt a little off was Ronny, who doesn’t appear on page until after 50% keeps popping up in Mila’s mind as a sort of voice of conscience a little too much.

This is a second book in a series but can be read as a standalone. Fake bride trope that turns into more. Two characters they are opposites attach for sure. You will get frustrated at times it’s like they don’t belong together yet they do. It’s a good steamy read.
Her writing is sensual and addicting.

Five-stars overall but there are moments I struggled. This is one of those stories that you have to suspend reality and just go with it, but to be honest that’s kind of the reason I enjoy reading romance, so I can suspend reality and just enjoy the whole story. There are frustrating parts and a couple of moments where you do kind of roll your eyes at how thick they both are, but then you get back into the swing and the story is amazing again and you can’t help but love it all. If you like this author or this type of story, then you won’t be able to not be swept up in this story.

It has a lot of potential but I honestly found the book a bit boring. I didn't find the book entertaining at all and struggled the entire way through

I really struggled with this book. While the premise intrigued me, the execution didn’t work. I really didn’t like the FMC. I felt she was all over the place. The MMC was a golden retriever boyfriend who fell first. And while he acknowledged his emotions to himself, he did not verbalize them to FMC except in casual endearments.
Also, the post wedding scene was weird. She was so drunk/high that she didn’t remember anything?! It gave me a date rape drug vibe even though the MMC was not culpable. There were many (conscious) sexy times but limited heart-to-heart conversations between the MC’s to develop an actual relationship.

I know this is considered a standalone, but like other reviews, I, too, felt like I was missing something. Maybe there was more backstory in the first book No Romeo?
One thing I did love is how much he adored Mila. 😊 All that to say, I don’t think I’ll be reading more of this author’s books…her writing style was quite different!

I enjoyed the story and the characters. However, I felt like there was some depth missing. Spice was 2/5- it wasn't fade to black, but there also wasn't a lot of detail.

2nd in the My Kind of Hero series - but I read it as a stand alone easily.
Whew - Fin! It's a funny take on the fake bride trope but grows into more. The shrooms were a funny part. Fin and Mila had great dialogue but I felt she could have been a stronger character for him. They fit but they don't - it makes it hard to root for them. Spicy scenes.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

This is the first book I’ve read by Donna Alam. I enjoyed the banter between the two main characters, Mila and Finn. This book had one of my top favorite tropes- fake marriage. I look forward to reading more of this authors work.
Thank you Netgalley and Donna Alam for the opportunity to read this book.

Fin is infuriating and Mila is equally as infuriating and together these two are a hilarious hotmess!
This book started off really hot and hilarious and ended with heart eyes and laughter but I will not lie, the middle part of story had points where it dragged and I felt there was just way to much unnecessary chaos.
It did take me awhile to get through the book but I am happy I stuck it out because the ending was beautiful!
