Their Double Lives has a lot of characteristics that I usually don’t love in a book-dual timelines and many points of view. However, in this novel Jaime Lynn Hendricks brings it all together in a way that is engaging and easy to follow. There were so many twists! I got some The Arrangement Vibes and Verity vibes as I was riding the roller coaster of twists this novel threw out. Overall, this was a book I looked forward to reading and which kept my attention beginning to end. I rate this book 4 big stars.

Thriller lovers will devour this twisty thriller! What starts off very straight forward turns into something else mid way thru.Kim is desperate to pay for surgery for her dog but not sure where it is coming from. When she gets a call offering her cash to put something in a drink at the country club she works at she is desperate enough to agree. But when she discovers that the person is a former boyfriend she hesitates and can’t go through with it. When his fiancee dies instead Kim is reeling. What is going on? It had me asking so many questions! Who is telling the truth? Who is trying to do away with who? Who is innocent? And is anyone telling the truth? It kept me reading to the end.

Hard to put down, great no fabulous rememberable characters. This one definitely fits the bill of suspense thriller. Had it all. Was such a great read. First fir ke from this author I really enjoyed the writing style.

If Jaime Lynn Hendricks writes it, I'm reading it as soon as possible with a tub of popcorn in hand! Yes, a tub. I turn to her whenever I need a guaranteed fun ride. This one doesn't come out until May, but I hope it's on your radar. 👀 It's juicy and bingeable, like all of her other books.

I loved this book! I read the whole thing in 1 day. It was so twisty and good. I just had to know what happened!!

This is an entertaining and well written thriller! @thrillerbookloversthepulse this book is getting great reviews. I went into this one blind and you should too. I will tell you there are some great twists and turns. There are also some characters leading double lives which really adds to the confusion about who to believe. I found this book fast paced and a great binge worthy read. Add it to your thriller TBR.

She has to poison and kill a man named Anthony Fuller when he comes into the club for dinner. But it turns out that Anthony Fuller is actually Tony Fiore, Kim's ex-boyfriend from high school, and she decides she can't go through with it. Anthony is there with his fiancé, PJ, and before dinner is over, she's the one who ends up dead. Through a previous timeline, we find that PJ was living a double life, and she had some plans for revenge!

This was such a fun and quick read! I actually liked PJ and found it interesting to see how she was keeping up with the double life. I loved how much Kim loved and wanted to save her dog. Although she was scared about the repercussions of not going through with the murder, she handled it better than I would have! There were really good twists in this book. I guessed some of them, but I was surprised by others. I liked how things wrapped up at the end.

Jamie Hendricks was an author I discovered with my Thriller friends, and she is now an auto-buy. Another gripping put which I could NOT put down.
PJ is out from revenge. She plans a meeting with Anthony and her plans could go array. Her plan was to kill him after marrying him. I do NOT want to give anything away because each twist had my head spinning and turning the pages TO FIND OUT WHAT could possible happen now!

💭 I always get a kick out of this author’s books! She has this way about her that draws you in and captivates you! I loved learning about these characters and realizing everyone isn’t who they seem! It was so fun to keep reading and find our everyone’s motives!

This one is going to be one of the best thrillers of 2025! Jaime Lynn Hendricks can do no wrong. Her books just keep getting better and better. This one stresses me out in the best possible way. As a dog person, I love how Kim’s dog was her best friend. Lots of vile characters and bad guys that will keep you guessing! I don’t want to give spoilers just trust me in knowing you will be entertained til the very last page! 5 stars!

I have read most of Jaime Lynn Hendricks books and they are always a fun read. This was another binge worthy book. I flew through this one. Kim is a waitress who's just getting by and her dog needs a life saving surgery that she cannot afford. She is offered an opportunity by someone who calls themself “The Stranger” that will earn her the money she needs for her dog, and her life. But things end up not going as planned, and what happens is quite twisted. You get multiple POV’s with some shady characters, and unreliable narrators and it was exactly the kind of thriller I love. Plenty of drama, and suspense and totally kept me guessing. Totally wild ride!

Jaime Lynn Hendricks is one of my go-to psychological thriller authors, and Their Double Lives is currently my favorite of her deliciously suspenseful novels!

I was totally engaged by this cat and mouse game and couldn't put the book down. It kept me guessing as to who The Stranger could be and I was so nervous for Kim the entire time. I loved the flashbacks to PJ's story and she was just as much a sympathetic character as Kim was. I was equally nervous for her! It was really easy to visualize people and places without details taking away from the narrative. There was just a nice balance of description and plot.

There is a lot going on in this novel and I don't want to say too much so as to not spoil anything. It's definitely a page-turner and one you won't want to miss when it hits shelves in mid-May.

Side note: There's a minor character whose name made me contact the author to tell her about a coincidence in my life. If you've known me for a long time, you'll recognize the name right away!

This was such a wild and twisted one!! There was so much to take in, which kept the pages flying past in what was an action packed novel. The lies, the twists and not knowing what was to come. This one really kept me on the edge of my seat. A thoroughly enjoyable novel and I can't wait to read more by this author.

Wow, I’m left a little speechless after that one. Talk about a twisty thriller! Nothing is as it seems! I was hooked from the get-go with this book, because why wouldn’t you immediately begin rooting for the woman who’s just trying to save her poor dog?? As the story unfolds, I switched sides so many times only for more and more to be revealed and then all the lines began to blur. I literally finished the 2nd half of the book in one day because I just couldn’t put it down. The ending was so satisfying and made the story feel complete with a “ride off into the sunset” kind of feel. This is definitely a thriller you don’t want to miss out on! I’m rating it with 4.5 stars rounding up to 5.

I haven't read one of Jaime Lynn Hendricks' books since her debut Finding Tessa and that is a damn shame. When I got approved for Their Double Lives I knew I had to read it immediately and I gobbled this one right up. I loved the multiple viewpoints, and between Kim, Tony, and PJ we get put through the ringer. I loved how each one gave us something different, and while Kim didn’t always make the smartest decisions, her love for her poor dog gave me all the feels. There is a high level of deception and secrecy going on throughout the story and the blowup is of epic proportions.

Their Double Lives couldn’t be a more fitting title for this book, and you will be shocked and appalled by the things that happen. I think I enjoyed PJ’s POV the most and could totally see where she was coming from and also where she ended up. I would recommend going into this one as blind as possible and I think me going off the author instead of the synopsis worked in my favor. The twists and turns were fantastic, and the ending was bloody brilliant.

Read this if you are in the mood for a bingeable read full of morally grey characters, unreliable narrators, and a downright dirty revenge plot.

I am obsessed with Jaime Lynn Hendricks’ writing, and "Their Double Lives" did not disappoint! This book is a masterpiece of suspense, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

The multiple points of view and dual timelines really elevate this story, giving us the perfect mix of tension, mystery, and character development. I loved getting inside the heads of both protagonists and seeing their different perspectives unfold. Each chapter was like peeling back another layer of the complex lives they lead – I never knew what was coming next!

The characters? So well-crafted!!! Hendricks is a genius at creating multi-dimensional characters that feel real, raw, and totally unpredictable. No one is who they seem, and just when I thought I figured them out – BAM! – there’s a twist.

Honestly, I can't recommend this book enough if you're into suspenseful thrillers with deep, complex characters and a story that grips you from start to finish. Hendricks truly delivers another knockout! 5 stars!

Kim remains tangled up with The Stranger as they insist that she complete the job. After all, she has to save her dog...

I’ll read anything that Jaime writes and this is one of my favorites by her, for sure. With multiple points of view across different timelines, this book was super twisty! Just when I thought I had everything figured out, something else made my jaw drop! I was invested in the story right from the beginning and it held my attention through the end. And I can picture exactly which Jersey Shore town this is supposed to take place in!
