Never Come Back was a great read. It had a very unique storyline which I enjoyed immensely. It kept me guessing throughout with all the twists and turns. It was a little farfetched in places but that did not spoil my enjoyment of the story.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for my ARC.

Never come back by Cara Reinhard is a suspenseful thriller that follows husband and wife Rowan and Wyatt.

When her husband was missing Rowan wished desperately that he would come back, but then she learned his secrets and now she wishes he not.

Being a single mom when your married is hard. Wyatt is always away: at a work thing, his phone was stolen, there's always an excuse. If only it was an affair, the truth is it's much worse than that.

First Wyatt goes missing and now Landon. But Rowan can't confront Wyatt without exposing herself.

Thank you Cara for working with NetGalley. I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

I personally found this book a little hard to follow in parts at the beginning as it felt like it jumped very quickly. The storyline was interesting however minimal the spent on character building.

Rowan takes her son, Landon to see The Liberty Bell and is taken right from under her nose. Will all her secrets be discovered and can she get Landon back before its too late?

This book has my worst fear come true- waking up in a bathtub with your kidney removed!
This is what happens when Wyatt goes to Mexico City for business. When he comes home, things go from bad to worse when his son goes missing. This book was very far-fetched which made it more realistic if that makes sense. The ending annoyed me but I understand why it played out the way it did.
I stayed up late to finish this book. I’m looking forward to more books by Cara Reinard. Many thanks to the author, Bookouture and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Rawan is a devoted wife and mother who struggles with the complexities of her seemingly perfect life with her handsome husband, Wyatt. While managing the challenges of raising their young son and preparing for another child amidst Wyatt's frequent absences, she strives to cherish their suburban existence. However, upon Wyatt's return after a week of silence, she senses an unsettling change. Despite his explanations—his phone being stolen and the fatigue from travel—she cannot shake the feeling that something is amiss, especially with the mysterious scar that has appeared on his body. As her intuition whispers of betrayal, she is haunted by a deeper fear: that Wyatt may uncover her own dark secret which threatens to shatter their idyllic life and put their family in great danger.

MY THOUGHTS: I believe it’s best for readers to approach this fast paced narrative without any prior knowledge, so I don’t want to reveal too much. I will say that this clever story captivated me from the very start and kept me engaged throughout. It is filled with significant surprises! Dive into this if you enjoy suspense, unexpected twists, and unreliable characters.

“Sometimes when you’re dealing with bad people… you become bad people"

I really enjoyed reading this but honestly hated the main characters. which, in my case, was totally fine. After all, I enjoyed reading and seeing what was happening in their lives, but honestly, the characters themselves weren't likable. Have you ever heard that phrase, "Couldn't have happened to a nicer person "' , this was my sentiment about these characters. Honestly, I felt more sympathy towards the kids and the "bad guy," then I did the main couple.

This was my second book by Reinard, and I don't think it will be my last.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I'm so glad I trusted Bookouture, who are easily becoming my new favorite book publishers! This is a VERY fast paced 5 star read for me, and I will absolutely be coming back to read more of this Author's books in the future! That was a much needed wild ride!

Rowan is furious that her husband, Wyatt, has to travel abroad for business. Wyatt continues his plans, despite her protests. Tragically, a single, fateful decision during his trip alters the course of his life forever. Rowan’s agitation intensifies when she not only can’t reach Wyatt but also receives a call from his employer informing her that he has been injured.

Rowan and Wyatt are parents to a four-year-old son, Landon, and are expecting their second child. Rowan yearns for Wyatt’s return home to restore normalcy. However, even upon returning home, his experience has left him a broken man, certain to have a profound impact on their marriage.

Their son Landon’s subsequent disappearance further exacerbates their strained relationship, shedding light on their less-than-ideal marriage.

The story takes a darker turn as Wyatt’s experiences abroad persist. For the sake of their son and while wishing for his safe return, a united front is crucial. This couple’s situation suggests that their marriage may be beyond repair.

Beyond its surface-level drama, this novel delves into a profound and thought-provoking subject, one that I found new and intriguing as I read it.

Many thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Thanks for letting me read this. The book was about a topic I find interesting; sale of organs. This is something you know happens, and certainly than you think. The book is also about the family and how far one is willing to go to save one's family.

I think the end was a bit abrupt, I would have liked a few extra pages. So we got to see how things went a few months/years later.

Reinard writes a fast paced, on the edge of your seat, keep you guessing, refreshing thriller. There is so much happening and so much action that will keep you turning page after page until you all of a sudden realize that you have finished the book! This book is chock full of drama, secrets, and lies. Just when you think it’s only Wyatt that is hiding secrets and lying, all of a sudden you find out that Rowen has secrets as well! Some of the characters are not what they seem, it really is just a very twisty book!

I will say that this book should come with a trigger warning for organ harvesting and child abduction. However, these things really happen, so while this is an entertaining thriller, I do think that it touches on a subject that isn’t talked about much.

Anyway, thriller lovers are going to love this book. The ending is literally unguessable. So, go ahead, I dare you! Pick this up, read it, and try to figure it all out!

This book was insane. I read it within 24 hours and enjoyed every minute of it. There were so many twists and turns and I did not see some of the twists coming. I felt like the ending was very fitting for everyone, although I would have like a "1 year later" style epilogue to see where evryone ended up.
