This was my first Jenny Holiday book, and while I felt like this was an entertaining read, it didn't have that "wow" factor for me, I kind of felt disconnected from the main characters

I give this book 4 stars. The storyline between Jack and Cassie was a good read. I recommend this book. Jack need Cassie's help, will she help him. This book has a HEA ending.

While I enjoyed this book, nothing about it made it pop. I'll probably see it in my read list a while from now and be like 'what was that book again'? The characters felt meh, and I felt rather thrown into both their lives.

I have read Jenny Holiday's Bridesmaids series and loved her characters and stories. So I was excited to try this one from her 49th Floor series.

The first couple chapters didn't grab me, but I am glad I continued with the book. Cassie and Jack are more interesting and complex than at first glance. There are things in both their lives that have been difficult, and seeing how they react to them individually and together makes the story.

Wonderful story well written with great characters. This is a first time author for me and I really enjoyed reading this.

It was a fun read, fairly heartwarming and cute though not as memorable as I had hoped. It was a good airport read

Saving the CEO was a blast to read. Not only was this sexy and fun, but there was such a great connection between Jack and Cassie that was really well-written. I enjoyed the story from the first page all the way through to the last. Nicely done, Ms. Holiday. I have a new go-to author to add to my collection.

Please note that an ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review of which this is both honest and completely voluntary.

I’d read another book from this author which I enjoyed so thought to try this one as well. The “math genius” heroine line also had me interested, intelligent heroines are my fav kind. I wasn’t disappointed, this was a fast paced, interesting read.

Cassie James works as a bartender at a friend’s restaurant to put herself thru college. With an alcoholic, substance abusing mother that she has to maintain, having funds to finish her degree has been painfully slow. The staff at the restaurant joke and gossip about Jack who is a regular as clockwork customer. He comes in every week on specific days alone, sits in 1 particular table, spreads out his work around him & keeps to himself. He shocks everyone one day coming in at a different day & sitting at the bar instead where Cassie ends up having to serve him. When she wrings it thru the days special – pork with preserved lemon! – but bluffs her way most charmingly thru it, Jack is piqued & very very attracted.

When Jack learns that Cassie is good at math, & a logical thinker he makes her an offer to help him out with a deal he is trying to broker. He’s discovered that his CFO is swindling him & he instinctively knows Cassie is someone he can trust.

The story was funny and altogether charming at times. Cassie is quite amusing with her tongue in cheek fake it till you make it approach when finding herself in any awkward situation. Her best friend is her 1st boyfriend who after their relationship figures out he is gay! They have a wonderful relationship & he is awfully protective and caring of her.

Jack confesses to Cassie that he has dyscalculia & why he desperately needs her help in both exposing his CFO’s crime as well as helping with the deal.

A good read!
