Ummmm excuse me abby?! That cliffhanger is brutal and I need answers like yesterday. Did I binge this in one sitting? Of course I did. Hunters story continues right where we left off with Levi, greedy and kabir waking up to find hunter is missing. When they find her, she's not herself and finally someone is taking action against her terrible mother. And of course man number 4 is here! Sione is the epitome of zen and kindness. He's so self assured in his sense of self and love for hunter. I love that we're getting demisexual representation as well! We still have a dual timeline with present hunter and her time in Italy with Sione. The dynamics are shifting yet again in this little polycule and I am absolutely living for it. And Spence and kylians bromance is everything I never knew I needed. Those two are so similar and I love the way their brains work. The spice was hot and heavy and i just am absolutely in love with this masterpiece. Blown away yet again by the characters that Abby writes and how immersive these stories truly are. The representation is truly perfection and there's something for everyone. I learned so much from this book and about myself and my own identity. Thank you so much for writing these words and helping heal the parts of me I didn't even realize were still hurting. Absolutely obsessed with this book and narration!

Gee these books all end on cliffhangers! But this one! What the!!! Now I have to hold out for book 4!! I don’t know I can wait that long!
Gah!
The audiobook makes it easier to “read” I must admit as each character is portrayed by a different person.
I absolutely loved that we got to see the characters from Boys of Lake Chapel Series: Joey, Decker, Locke, Kylian and Kendrick with their cameo in this book.

This book was archived before I was even able to download and listen to it. I very sad I didn’t get to listen so it’s still on my tbr but I will be reviewing for the record NetGalley didn’t give me the chance to listen and review

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
This was a great continuation of this series that picked up right where book two left off. I enjoyed all of the spicy scenes in this book and the addition of a fourth partner and his differing sexuality. I really enjoy these characters and all of their interactions and how they compliment each other. The twist in the end was so good and I cannot wait for the next book.

If you've been following my reviews and remember what I said about books one and two, then here we are with the reason I read the first two. I really need to pay attention to whether a book is later in a series or the first because this is not the first or last time I've done this.
Anyway, book three picks up where we left off. We know that Hunter is off somewhere beyond her will, and we know that her guys will stop at nothing to get her back. We also bring back Spence's Valet, who is nice and grandfatherly and Sione the love that Hunter found in Italy. There are not as many flashbacks in this book, but we do have some as we find out the establishment of a relationship between Hunter and Sione, but let us be honest, we don't go into as much detail on their relationship as we did EVERYONE else. Sione is the most mellow of everyone and only wants Hunter any other dudes. This whole "units" dynamics is interesting, and there were scenes I wish I could unread. This book doesn't seem to have as much "trauma" as the others; it's mostly find Hunter, have sex with Hunter, have sex with each other, worry about Magnolia. Watch Hunter escape inside her head and forget everyone. With all of this drama with Hunter's mom, you'd think that would have more play, but it really doesn't. Magnolia is terrible, no doubt about it, and I assume there is going to be much more of her in the last book, but with as much as Magnolia is what is causing Hunter to spiral, there is not much going on there. In 3 books, there have been maybe 10 pages about that dynamic. The book itself is ok. This reverse harem, trauma reading has its niche, and if that is what you like, then this will be a series for you.
The narration was pretty good. Each character had their own narrator, which I loved. The narration of Hunter in Greedy's chapters does seem to be better in this book, and each narrator does a great job.
Overall, this is pretty much the same as books one and two, with an extra man, in a different setting, and with a little more history.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁:
Book two ended in a cliffhanger and I enjoy we got resolution on that, early on in this book. I liked the healing aspects and spiritual journey that Sione brought into the dynamics of this story. I didn’t know a lot about crystals and meditation so this was interesting. As always I like the balance each of the 4 men bring to Hunter and how all together they make a beautiful whole. This is book 3 in the Boys of South Chapel series and these must be read in sequence or there will be spoilers!
𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬:
The drama continues for Hunter with her mom and their very toxic relationship. One thing Hunter can always count on is the men in her life and they don’t let her down. They continue to show up even when their place in her heart is up in the air.
Hunter has a complex history and this book takes us to her time between London and coming back to the US. We meet a new lover Sione from her time in Italy and are introduced to what he brings to the relationship.
As always this book has all the spice, drama, emotions, lots of representation, and the navigating of dynamics and roles.

This was a solid entry for the second book in the series. The author is keeping the storyline moving along by introducing a new character and giving us additional history. It all helps to better understand Hunter and her motivations a bit better.
I received an early copy of the audiobook. The narration was well done and lent itself to the enjoyability of this book.
Thank you to NetGalley for this early audio copy.

I absolutely loved reading this series! I love a good why choose romance and the audiobooks for this series were **chefs kiss**. I loved spending time with these characters and will happily pick up anything Abby Millsaps writes! Highly recommend.

Just wasn't for me, I understand having the previous boyfriends but for me is crazy how many boyfriends keep appearing in each book, this one was too much, like there are many things we know about her and then surprised she went to some country and had a boyfriend there that now we have to worry about, maybe I wasn't in the mood or if they were introduced before or something or through her eyes before the reveal.
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for this audiobook

So YAY rinse and repeat plot elements where Hunter's mom continues to be the worst human on the planet and we are throwing another dick into the story who is very "one" with the universe…
𝙎𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙥𝙨𝙞𝙨:
This book starts exactly where the previous book ended on that, you know, epic cliffhanger because that's just what Abby Millsaps does. Take that as a foreshadowing that this book's gonna have one too, and it's a flipping doozy... So Hunter is "missing"... read between the lines that Hunter has been kidnapped by her awful "incubation chamber" of a mother... because there's no way that a woman that vile could ever be considered an actual mother. The boys are freaking out (well Greedy and Levi are, Kabir is all calm and sophisticated) while trying to locate her. Luckily, Kabir is a little bit obsessed with Hunter and has placed a tracking device inside her skin. And, while this is crossing of boundaries and totally creepy, we overlook this because, HEY! it saves her life! Now, in all the drama of locating her, Kabir called in Hunter's other European lover, Sione, when he was expected to be involved in her disappearance... and he decides to rock up so that adds some drama to the group...
𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨:
Like the previous books, this is told in a dual timeline, however, the old timeline is not as "prevalent" as the other books as we only have a few scenes. This time, the past of Hunter's time in Italy after leaving (running away from) Kabir. I also feel like this wasn't that heavy on the plot... A lot of the book is mostly just in the present and them having a lot of sex, together, in coupled or in small little side groups as the dynamics of this harem or cohort are established.
BUT LETS BE REAL... if you’ve made it this far in the series, you know what to expect and if you had to plot out their relationship dynamics, it would look a lot like a murder board with all those weird crossing red lines
- Greedy (Hunter's First Love) is with Hunter and Levi and coming to terms he is bi.
- Levi (Hunter's Boyfriend) is with Hunter and Greedy and sometimes Kabir.
- Kabir (Hunter's European Lover) is with Hunter but has an equal relationship with Levi because Levi doesn't yet want to be dominated.
- Sione (Hunter's other European Lover) is with Hunter and ONLY Hunter but doesn’t mind watching her with the others.
- And Hunter? Well, she’s with everyone, all the time...
So it can get a little confusing as fuck...
𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙡𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙮𝙨...
I love Greedy. He is definitely my favorite in the group. He’s level-headed, open, and all about communication, which I absolutely appreciate. I also love how Hunter is his entire world. His dedication to her is just so pure and grounding in the chaos that is this harem.
Levi, on the other hand, frustrated the living shit out of me in this book. He became incredibly selfish. He was already comfortably established in Hunter's little harem, but the minute her memory got a little hazy, and his place in the group was slightly questioned, he reverted into a petulant child throwing a temper tantrum. I just wanted to tell him to grow the fuck up. Like, seriously dude, she’s not going anywhere and like we as readers know she's not going to NOT have him in the group so his childish behavior was annoying... That being said, I did enjoy how his relationship with Greedy strengthened in more ways than one. He also developed some kind of kinship with Kabir, which added an interesting layer to their weird little dynamic.
Then we have Kabir, who is still his broody, dominating, alpha self who just had a solution to everything and since money is no object, nothing can stop him from conquering the world. This was the element of the book that made this most feel like fiction because a lot of the problems in the plot are solved by him just having the money to do so...
AND THEN THE NEW ONE... Sione... who is basically just a SIMP for Hunter... but also while being holistic and open to fate and soul matches...

OVERALL if you don’t like spice, I wouldn’t recommend reading this because that’s basically what this book is, just a LOT of SPICE and a very, very little slow-moving plot. Just an insatiable woman who cannot be satisfied and has a bunch of men who like keeping her happy...

All thoughts and opinions are my own!

This is a why choose second chance romance and book three in a series. The men doing the narrations for the audio book are fantastic and really make the story come to life for me. And the lady doing narration for Hunter's character is so talented. I've read the book too but the audio version just takes it to the next level. The men in the reverse harem so far are, Greedy-Hunter's first love and stepbrother, Levi- her easy going boyfriend, and Spence- the British dom billionaire. In this book we meet the fourth man who captured Hunter's heart, Sione is her soulmate. I loved that Sione kind of automatically fit in with the other guys in Hunter's harem. Each guy's personality seems so different and unique but when they all come together, because of their love for Hunter, and in some cases their newfound love for each other, it just works. We get all our questions answered from book 2 and of course this book ends on a cliffy as well. The plot and the pacing of the story is good and of course the spicy scenes are done very well. I look forward to reading the ending of this series.

It was not the first in the series so I would highly suggest reading the others but it was an interesting story. I love a good why choose and this was great!
I liked the narrators as well and the plot was just what I expected in a why choose.

This story is frustrating in that every time I think I know where it's going it heads off in a different direction. Not to mention, that this one ends on another crazy cliffhanger. Now that there are four of them, they're trying to figure out how their relationship as one and their individual relationships will work. They are all beginning to trust one another more especially as they have a mutual enemy in the form of Hunter's mother. The audiobook really brings this novel to life and creates a full experience.

This series everyone knows is my favorite already so when I saw the audiobook being offered I just had to listen. I’m way too excited for the next book 😍 The narration in this one is absolutely amazing! It truly felt like I saw standing there with the characters while it was all going down!! Did I start and finish in one sitting?! Yes i definitely did! Hunter is one of my favorite FMCs and the strength that girl carries 👏👏 I just need a little bit of it. These MMCs are just everything. All four of them! I just love them for all different reasons just like Hunter. This audiobook definitely made the Cliffhanger make me feel all the feels again! Thankfully the final book is coming soon cause I need it in my hands 😍
Totally recommend adding this to your tbrs!

Unfortunately, I'm struggling with this series now, and the cliffhanger/new trope introduced in So Rare is one of my least favorites. I'm honestly concerned that this will be the magical thing that "fixes" the FMC, which feels like an easy way out rather than meaningful character growth.
While I still appreciate Abby Millsaps' emotional storytelling and the connection between the characters, this installment didn’t work for me. The pacing felt uneven, and some of the emotional beats didn’t land as strongly as in previous books. I wanted to feel more invested, but instead, I found myself frustrated with the direction the story took.
That said, I did enjoy the audiobook narration. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters to life, and their performances kept me engaged even when the story itself wasn’t fully working for me.
I’m torn because I do want to see how things wrap up, but my excitement for the next book has definitely diminished. I hope the resolution doesn’t rely too heavily on this trope, but at this point, I’m hesitant.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to listen to and review this audiobook.

I am seriously hooked on this series. The way each book ends in a cliffhanger has me so on the edge of my seat for the next one. The narrators in the audio version of this story portray the characters so perfectly (at least they match in my head as to how they would sound). The addition of Sione and the story lines from past to present are done so well. I cannot wait for book four.
Thank you to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to this ALC in exchange for my honest opinion.

🔮WOW. What an incredible job all these amazing narrators did! June DeBorahae; J. River Pierce; Liam Dicosimo; Keval Shah; Julio Maxwell.💖
Hunter’s story is one full of strong emotions and I liked how each chapter is done with clarity, cadence and well, emotion. I must say I really liked June DeBorahae’s work! It’s my first time listening to her voice and it’s safe to say she’d enter my top narrators list.
In this book, the boys’ relationship is strengthen when trying to get back to Hunter. I wanted to hug Levi a lot, he’s prob the soft one and he deserves so much. Greedy had me smiling ear to ear as he’s coming more comfortable with his feelings. Spence is the one who took charge and who makes everyone feel protected, appreciated and loved. And Sione, he’s the light in the darkness, a beautiful soul. Hunter is well taken care of by her men.
That ending thooo, can’t wait to know what’s next!

📖 I am so addicted to this series! We were left on such a cliffy in So Real, but Abby never makes us wait too long for answers and resolution to the major angst she creates lol. Magnolia is the absolute freaking worst! But ya know who I absolutely adore? You guessed it! SIONNE! It’s like he’s always been here. He fits with the group so well and smooths out everyone’s rough edges. He doesn’t at all feel like a late addition to me. I do want wayyy more time with him, but I’m just so impressed that she seamlessly incorporated a new guy into the cohort in book 3! Super impressive and I love him!
🎧 June continues to shine as our amazing Hunter! She captures Hunter’s warmth, charm, infectious energy, independence, and vulnerability, bringing the character to life. June effortlessly transitions from one character to another, showcasing her dynamic range. It was very easy to follow conversations as each love interest had a very unique tone and timbre. J, Liam, Keval, and Julio played Hunter’s love interests and did a solid job throughout. The final audiobook in the series should be out soon too!!

Thank you Abby and Dreamscape for the ALC!
I loved this book series and was thrilled to have the opportunity to listen to it on audio. I really enjoyed the narration and revisiting the story in this format!

I listened to the audio to this and let me tell you you don’t want to miss it. The voice actors are great and really bring the characters to life.
We pick up straight after the cliff hanger of book 2, and the guys are doing everything they can to find Hunter.
We get loads of steamy scenes and some more emotional ones as well as another new guy to add to the group.
That cliffhanger though!! OMG i can’t wait for the next book.
