I probably would have scored it higher had I realised this was part of a series lol this book was so good and so fun to listen to and I love the relationship dynamic

😬I feel so bad saying it, but this one was not my favorite, but the audio was pretty good! I say "pretty good" for the narrator for Kabir, he was not working for me, and I didnt get the little southern accent from Levi. And Liam Dicosimo doing a female voice. No.
I love the why choose trope, but we don't need a ton of guys either. Ya know?
I gotta see how it all wraps but still very much think we could have kept this as a Levi, Greedy, Hunter story line. Or just Hunter and Greedy 🤣 I love the spice and im intrigued by the plot. I like Abbys writing too.
Loved seeing Joey and her guys. I gotta read those books again

Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for the advanced audio for "So Rare" by Abby Millsaps.
I have done the previous books in this serious as audios so I was very excited to have the opportunity to listen to the newest book in the Boys of South Chapel series. As with the other books in the series there is drama and spice and of course ends on a cliffhanger! I enjoyed doing the audio and definitely suggest listening or reading this next book in the series if you have been reading this series and enjoying it!

Really good segue to So Real.
I loved how all the dynamics evolve, mainly between the boys (so hot) and how loyal they are to each other and Hunter.
I find it really easy, hot and fun, definitely a perfect read for smut, polyamory, why choose romance lovers.
The only thing I am not super sure about it´s the new addition in between the boys. Sione is definitely not someone I connect to, or that, to me, was needed at this point, and even if yes, he is a nice addition it felt a little flat to me. Even the back story was not as interesting as the one between Spence and Hunter. The only moment I really liked him and saw his potential was during his conversation with G about his sexuality and who he loves. Than was cute.
Also Levi, I wish you were my boyfrind to, and Kabir, and G.... everyone a part from Scione tbh

I read So Rare first on my kindle and loved it, having the chance to listen to it for free was a blessing. There is an added level of emotional impact that comes with listening to this story. Hunter and her boys grow so much in this book and listening to their growth is magical and breathtaking.

I really enjoyed So Rare. I listened to the audiobook narration and enjoyed the different voice actors presentation (Dual Narration). So Rare takes off right after the events of So Real (thank goodness because that cliffhanger was a doozy). I really feel like So Rare concentrated on Levi, Greedy and Spence and how their relationships were being defined. I loved hearing about how they felt and explored how they all tied together. There are some flashback chapters in So Rare, this time from Hunter's time in Italy when she met Sione. With then parallels with Sione coming to the US upon discovering that Hunter was missing. Sione fits like the missing puzzle nobody knew was missing. He enters into the cohort seamlessly. However, we haven't reached the cohort's HEA quite yet. Hunter's mother is still scheming for Hunter to do the transplant with or without consent. And Spence has some rough secret plans to work through. Can't wait for the next book!

I was given the opportunity to listen to an advanced copy of So Rare, book 3 in the Boys of South Chapel series as a member of Abby’s personal ARC team.
While I previously read the book itself listening to it a second time was fantastic! The narrator’s really bring this story to life and getting to hear the spicy scenes - highly recommend !!
I also finished the audio ahead of reading the final book in this series which helped keep everything fresh in my mind going into it. Thank you Abby for the ALC, be sure to start this series today, I highly recommend it!

I was extremely disappointed with this book. My first introduction to this author was when I received an ARC of So Wrong. I loved that book so much. The characters and their dynamic was written very well and I couldn’t wait to read more. The second book was a little underwhelming because the dynamic between Hunter, Greedy, and Levi changed when Kabir was introduced. While we got answers to what happened while Hunter was gone, Kabir’s addition just didn’t seem necessary in the present day timeline. I still really enjoyed it even though I wasn’t a Kabir fan.
Fast forward to book number 3. So Rare picks up right where So Real left us (a thrilling cliffhanger) and just took a nosedive. Remember how I didn’t like Kabir added to the mix?? Well imagine my shock when Sione arrives. Hunter is collecting these men like infinity stones. I feel like the storyline that I fell in love with in book 1 has been left so far behind. This book felt like I was reading a totally different series. I was super disappointed because I’ve followed Abby’s writing process for this whole series and the last thing I expected was to dislike a book in this series. It started off so strong, but it completely lost me with this book.
I listened to the eALC through NetGalley and I had some problems with the narration. There are so many names and nicknames between all the characters, and there were inconsistencies in pronunciation between the narrators. Not super detrimental to the plot, but it happened enough that I picked up on it. I think this series would have been great with duet narration instead of the normal narration. I am not a fan of male narrators mimicking the woman’s voice and vise versa.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for providing me a copy of the So Rare audiobook! All opinions are my own.

This is book three in the series, and it picks up right where it left off in book two.
I listened to the audio, and it kept me invested. I think the narrators did a great job. But since it was duel narration, it was sometimes a little confusing with all the different characters and which voice belonged to who in each chapter.
But I think they did a good job.
The story was great, and it threw some twists in there several times throughout the book. I liked the addition of new characters and how we got to see the characters from Lake Chapel again.
So much happened in this book both in terms of storyline and relationship development. I really enjoyed it, and the cliffhanger at the end shocked me! Can’t wait to read the forth and final book in this series 🩷

I really tried to push through this book, but I just couldn’t. I wanted to like it, but honestly, this series seems to be getting worse with each installment. I tolerated the second book, but this one? I just couldn’t do it.
How is it possible for this girl to love every man she meets, and for all of them to be okay with it—and even happy about it? She is so selfish and i hate her. I’m glad for everyone who enjoyed this book and plans to continue the series (another thing I didn’t realize—there’s going to be a fourth book?!), but as for me, I’m done.
Thank you NetGalley, Dreamscape Media and Abby Millsaps for giving me the opportunity to listen to this ALC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a captivating read for fans of complex, emotional, and intense romance stories that explore themes of love, loyalty, and empowerment, particularly those who enjoy polyamorous relationships, strong female protagonists, and stories of overcoming adversity and finding one's voice.

Abby Millsaps is the queen of cliff hangers, the way every book i have read of hers has left me on the edge of my seat dying to have the next book.
Usually I'm not a massive fan of audio books as it annoys me when the voices don't match what i have in my head however didn't have this annoyance with this audio book. Having read the book when it was first released i had an idea in my head what i thought they would sound like and the narrators chosen seem to fit each character extremely well, you could also hear the emotions in their voices when you were hearing things from their perspective.
This book begins with Hunter disappearing and the boys conflicted whether she is running again (she has a habit of running when things get tough) however when checking her whereabouts from a tracker he implanted in her (questionable) Kabir determines she wasn't running but had been taken by her psychotic mother.
I think this has to be my favourite book so far in this series, you can see how much each character has grown emotionally within the short amount of time, particularly with the guys banding together as a united front in order to keep Hunter safe and happy. the only thing i wasn't a massive fan of was the introduction of another man (4th in total now), as much as it shows the back story of Hunter and gives you a good understanding of what she has been through, its getting a little hard to keep track.
Overall i really like this series and cannot wait for the 4th and final book so we know what happens after this damn cliff hanger

This audiobook was so amazing,
I've listen to it while reading it on my kindle and WOW!
The narrators nailed it, the plot and storyline was amazing.
Abby Millsaps does not disappointed.

June deBorahae is quickly becoming one of my favorite female narrators and I am endlessly impressed with her range when it comes to giving so many characters a distinct voice!
Reasons So Rare may be my favorite installment in the Boys of South Chapel series thus far:
We finally get to meet the mystery man, other European lover, and the answer to what happened in Lake Como — Sione Tusitala — and falls seamlessly into this family they’ve fought so hard for.
The relationship with Levi, Greedy, and Kabir really starts to take shape as they work out their dynamics and boundaries, and give new context to old feelings.
My Greedy loving heart is so incredibly satisfied at how this part of their story unfolds, but rest assured that all our men have such a strong and special bond with Hunter that there is plenty of healing to go around for everyone.
Hunter’s time in Italy and with Sione was so healing and life affirming that she is worthy of trying and fighting for. Greedy has already been through it and has some huge moments of growth with coming to terms with why events unfolded the way they did and feeling confident in where they can all go from here. While Kabir came in hot in So Wrong and was abundantly clear in his devotion to Hunter in So Real, I love love love the vulnerability we got to see in So Rare while he still got to be very much in charge.

Thankful for the opportunity to listen!

I thought the narrators were AMAZING!!
The character development between certain characters I CANNOT EVEN DEAL!!!!
So much awakening happened without giving too much way!
It was great seeing Levi, Greedy and Spence working as a team!
I loved getting to know about Sione - aka The One and Only and how he fit into Hunter's story after she left London and moved to Italy.
Can I just say Sione sounds SO HOT and THE TATTOO!!!.... lol THAT IS ALL!!!
Also his nickname for Hunter was PERFECTION!!
THAT ENDING THOUGH!!!!
I could see it coming by the way I screamed I KNEW IT at the end!!!!!
A million billion stars from me and I cannot wait for the final audiobook!!

Wow! I listened to this one and it was intense.
Hunter will absolutely break your heart! She’s so much stronger than she knows, though.
Her mother Magnolia is a piece of work and you’ll want to either kill her or slap her.
Hunters men are the best support…they are best described as heroes.
You will meet another face from Hunters stay in Italy…
I don’t want to spoil it!!! If you’ve read the first two then I can promise you So Rare will not disappoint!
Thanks Abby Millsaps for trusting me with your arc! It was beautiful and a pleasure to read!!

This book was very interesting. It picks up where so real left off.
It was intriging and kept me interested the entire time. The dynamic of all the relationships was heartwarming.
The guys all protect Hunter and the entire group takes care of each other.
The narration was good, duet style would have been more enjoyable but It is a great listen.
4/5 stars
4/5 spicy

Whew! This saga continues to pull me in and keep hold of me all the way to the end where another hangover, er I mean cliffhanger awaits. So Rare brought together the boys in their mutual quest to find and make sure Hunter was ok. But, it also brought about even more manipulation, lies, and deceit by Hunter's mother which was truly tragic. The unit development between the 5 of these characters has been great and I'm excited to see what it looks like when they finally get their HEA.
The audiobook narrators continue to do such a wonderful job voicing these characters and I love that there is a narrator for each voice, which just makes the experience even better.

As if this story couldn't get any better, it was brought to audio and stole my heart, even more.
THIS IS A TRUE SERIES AND MUST BE READ
IN ORDER!**
The narration cast was EPIC. The way that the flawlessly capture this cohort 🥹🤌🏼 phenomenal. I cannot wait for the whole series to be on audio so I can listen all at once.
The amount of EMOTION that was packed in
book. I love the dynamic our boys have fallen
into with Hunter. Y'all are going to SWOON,
absolutely MELT and will most definitely need
a cold shower with this one.
ANDDD on true Abby fashion... I was left like
this 🫠😮😮😮 at the end.
I am so obsessed with these characters and I
will protect & defend them at all costs. 🥺

Consenting Adults
Audiobook Narration:
5 stars for the recording of the book.
June DeBorahae- June executes an endearing and vulnerable performance. If you find the undertone of Many Moore's voice calming you will definitely enjoy her delivery.
J. River Pierce- The country twang of a man from the South became dimmer in this book. I guess you could describe his voice as more crisp on this recording.
Liam Dicosimo- You can hear the calm wash over his performance. Consistent delivery, great tone, the perfect book boyfriend tone.
Keval Shah- Keval is able to demonstrate humble and approachability with the other characters. The accent and delivery is pretty pristine and perfection.
Julio Maxwell- His execution is suave and wispy. He pulls you into a zen space with his tone.
The cast grew and expanded the delivery in this series. Each narrator melts into the book tone complimenting one another’s performance. I highly suggest the audio of this book it was a pleasure to listen to. I tend to increase the speed on my audiobooks. I preferred to listen to this recording between 1.50-2.50 speed.
So Rare:
4.75 stars for the story itself.
Consent conquers throughout the graphic and spicy scenes. The dynamics reach heightened levels I did not see coming. These characters constantly surprised me.
This group pulled me into their story. The descriptions Abby Millsaps uses will have your cheeks flaming from the heat. The nicknames and terms of endearments are enhanced with the timeline travel of flashbacks to the present. I saw so much self reflection and growth of the characters.
The final 1% of the book had my jaw dropping so hard I thought it’d detach. In the meantime I shall remain on the edge of my seat until the audio for Book 4: So Right drops.
Thank you to Abby Millsaps and Dreamscape Media for providing this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
