This book showcases the talent Freida truly has. I had a hard time putting this book down. The ending was everything and more. And, not just 1 but 2 twists?
It did give me a vibe similar to The Surrogate Mother. But, although similar they are each their own book. It could also be due to having just read it a few weeks prior to the ARC so it was fresh in my mind.
There was more cursing than your typical Freida book. It wasn't over done or in bad taste. I thought it helped with the character development and making them more relatable in the situations in which it was used.
I can say this has got to be my favorite book of Freida's I have read. This was very well done.

Like all Freida reads this is a quick read, when you pick it up you just can't put it down. I enjoyed the multiple POV's, it really brings together the entire book. However, I do have to say I had this one figured out early on but still enjoyed all the twists and turns along the way. A few times I did question if I had it right because as usual with Freida's books you question every single character. This was an enjoyable fast paced read and I definitely recommend picking it up when it comes out!

First, thank you so much for giving me an ARC!! This one definitely was amazing and different from her other books. It did take me a little bit to get into it, but once that ball started to roll and the twists came, I couldn't put it down 🙌 The characters were just wow, the plot was something else and the twist definitely couldn't see that coming from a mile away! Fredia McFadden you've done it again!

4.5 Stars
Another twisty ride from Frieda! As per usual you think you know and she shocks you. The middle of the book dragged on a little but not enough for me not to enjoy this book.

Frieda did it again! Quick read, a lot of twists that I certainly did not see coming! I loved the main character and a male main character?! This was a fun read that I finished within 2 days!
I am thankful for this arc- I love reading Frieda books. This one did not disappoint and could maybe even have a spin off series about Amanda! Love love love it.

Secrets, lies and revenge. What more do you need to make a great storyline? (Apart from Frieda’s signature TWISTS, of course.). No one does suspense quite like Freida!
Written from a man’s point of view, it’s a bit different from her others, but it kept me switching the “villain” until close to the end. Who would have expected that??
Thanks to Freida McFadden, Mandy Chalal and Poisened Pen Press for the amazing gift of an Advanced Readers Copy! I squealed a little when I saw the email!

I loved it, couldn’t put it down. Freida does it again. She never fails to provide a book that keeps me from not being able to stop reading till it’s finished.

Excellent storyline and characters kept me on my toes to the very end. Amazing ending! Loved this book hopefully the author writes more books soon.

This book sucked me in from the beginning! I LOVE all the twists & turns Freida throw into her stories. This book went above & beyond! I don’t know how she does it but I hope she NEVER stops! Now to wait for my Barnes & noble teal edition- as well as my bookplate copy! Why? I think more why not!?
I’d give it 100 ⭐️’ s if I could!

Thank you to Freida and @poisonedpenpress for the ARC!! This was absolutely a five star read for me. Freida switches it up this time with a male POV. As always, this was a slightly unhinged, fast paced read with several twists-- some predictable and some not-- that will leave you second guessing everyone. AND THAT EPILOGUE!!

I am yet to read a bad book by Freida McFadden! I couldn’t put this one down, finished in about 24 hours. The epilogue always gets me.

Thank you to Netgalley and Poisoned Pen Press for allowing me to read this. Freida never disappoints! Another one I flew through. Every time I say this is my new favorite of hers, until the next one comes out! So many twists like always. 5 stars of course!!!

I got an early copy to read of this book, and was so excited! I don’t want to give any spoilers, but it was great. It moved quickly, and pulled you in. In typical Freida fashion, it had more than one big twist! I wasn’t able to predict the ending at all. Overall, a great book!

Freida has done it again! Another quick page turner! She’s always got you questioning if you’ve finally figured it out by the ending! Thank you for the opportunity to read one of her books prior to release date!

This book sucks you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what will happen next. The plot will keep you guessing all the way to the end. Definitely a MUST read!

I am big Freida fan and this book did not disappoint! Quick easy read. Grabs you from page one. z you never see the twist coming!!

I loved the book, I think a lot of people are going to think they see the plot twist coming as always, but i don’t think they’re even going to think it’s going to happen like it will.
This kept me on the edge of my seat and i loudly gasped when the twist started!!

This book had me frustrated in the best way possible. I absolutely loved and ate it up. The Tenant is my new favorite Freida book!

Thank you to Poisoned Pen Press for an ARC of The Tenant by Freida McFadden! This book follows a couple Blake and Krista who come into money troubles and need to rent a bedroom in their brownstone to make ends meet where they met their tenant Whitney and from there interesting things take place.
Unfortunately this book was not a hit for me. I am a huge Freida fan and will read anything she write and publishes but this fell extremely flat for me. It felt very repetitive and predictable and didn’t give me that normal Freida thrill. :/ I was bored throughout this and just wanted the book to be over. The twists were not as thrilling as her other work which unfortunately landed this at a 3 for me.

Enjoyed this one! The usual twists but I enjoyed the male POV and didn't expect the stolen identity storyline so found that interesting. as always quick and easy reads.
