OMG, I couldn't put this book down, as usual. Freida McFadden's stories always leave me shocked! Thanks to NetGalley, the author, Poisoned Pen Press, and Mandy Chahal for the ARC.

Another great book by Freida! Kept me captivated the whole time. I didn't want to put it down once I started. And like many of her books, it had an unexpected ending that I did not see coming!

I just finished an ARC of The Tenant and I have to say it was one of my favorite Freida books. The male narrrator was different but I think she pulled it off. You really feel Blake’s pain, frustration and his spiral as his war with his tenant escalates.

The increasingly shocking events ratcheted up the tension with each chapter so I could not stop reading!! And the book has awakened a new dread of fruit flies in me!

Overall I gave it a 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but that's because I guessed one of the major twists. I think I've just read so many of these books recently that my mind has learned to predict the craziest, most unlikely scenarios. But even with figuring out the twist, I still found this book hugely enjoyable and highly recommend!

Wow Freida you did it again! I totally thought I had this one figured out and then when I was like finally you were like nope!!! You slap me with another twist that was a jaw dropper!

Freida did it AGAIN! The plot twists are incredible and the story keeps you hooked! As having a male perspective take the lead it was a change from what you would expect and she nailed it! Highly recommended!

5 stars for Freida McFadden again on her book the Tenant. Interesting choice using a male point of view. Suspenseful and full twist and turns that you never see coming. This book is unputdownable and a page turner from the start. If you love Freida McFadden then this one is a must to add to your shelf. It will have you questioning do you really know people, and a what lengths would person really go to protect their secrets.

Freida McFadden never disappoints. Her books have the right amount of suspense and mystery. This book moved along in Freida fashion. She writes them as quick as you can read them.

Freida is one of my favorite authors, and this book exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t put it down. The twists were completely unexpected, leading me down different rabbit holes. I particularly enjoyed the perspective from a male point of view, which is refreshing since most books are predominantly written from a female perspective.

Overall, it was a fun and engaging read.

I’m a sucker for anything Frieda writes, and I was so excited to start the Tennant. I will admit, the 1st bit of the book was slow to me and kinda hard to get into… but once it sucked me in, there was no putting it down!

Just like with most Frieda books, you get the 1st plot twist and it all starts clicking, but then the last little bit of the book is another twist you don’t see coming.

Honestly, this wasn't my favorite Freida book. I found the characters to be unusually obnoxious, and I actually guessed the plot twists very early on. To me, The Tenant was just okay. Not Frieda's usual standard, unfortunately

Where to start... As always Frieda McFadden writes the best books with a twist at the end. Has to be up there with one of my favourite books by her. I always think I have it figured out and then Frieda pulls out big twists I never saw coming.
As always I end up finishing this book in less than a day.
It had me hooked from the beginning.
All Frieda books are easy to read with small chapters and the font is a perfect size (this helps with my ADHD and slight dyslexia)

AMAZING! The Tenant kept me on the edge of my seat!! If you’re new to Fredia McFadden’s books this is the one to start with! Freida has done it again!

First, I love this cover and all the offered variations of it. Secondly what a fun thrilling read. To my credit I did get the twist right! That's rare for a Freida book. Definitely recommend if you like suspense, thrills and snickerdoodle cookies! Happy reading!

What can I say, Freida NEVER dissapoints!!! Holy rollercoaster batman, this was a WILD ride!! This might be my favorite Freida book yet. I have to admit, I have not read all of them yet, in fact, if I'm being honest, I've only read The Inmate, The Boyfriend, and The Wife Upstairs. But out of all of those, The Tenant is MY FAVORITE! I could NOT put this one down! Started at night, finished the next morning. Freida has this way to make you think you know exactly what is happening at the beginning, but WAIT! There's soooo much more! By the end of the Epilogue, my jaw was on the floor! I don't know how she does it.

Blake Porter is riding high, until things start to fall apart. A VP of marketing with his dream job, living with his fiance Krista in NY city, they seem like they have a bright future. But right from the get go, things start to go south for Blake and soon they allow a tenant to move into their Brownstone and soon after, things go really, really south! I don't want to give anything away, but I promise you, you will NOT know how this one is going to end, no matter how much you think you do!

This was Freida's first time writing in a male MC's voice and she knocked it out of the park. I ate this up!

Is this a deeply thought provoking, literary thriller? NO. If that is what you are looking for, this is not for you. If you like a quick, unputdownable, edge-of-your-seat popcorn 🍿 thriller, with short chapters, something that is super twisty and will shock you at the end, grab this one right now!!

4 🍷🍷🍷🍷 gripping, fruity wine glasses!

As expected there is a whole lot of crazy in the characters and their behavior in this book. Blake, having recently lost his job, agrees when his finance Krista suggests they take a tenant to ease some of their finance burdens. Enter the scene, Whitney, a beautiful and personable woman, who seems like the perfect person to move in their house. When strange things begin happening in the household, Blake is convinced that Whitney is to blame. His actions and interactions spiral out of control quickly and from there things just keep getting worse. Some of seemed a little cliche but Freida McFadden's books are quick reads and always keep you wondering what might come along to surprise you.

Love me a Frieda McFadden book and this did not disappoint! I always try to figure out the twist and I didn’t even come close.. highly recommend!

The Tenant is another fast-paced psychological thriller by Frieda McFadden. I was so into it and read it in one day! I couldn't wait to find out what happens with Blake, who is now unemployed and down on his luck, his fiancé Krista and newly moved in tenant, Whitney. Of course, everything is not as it seems, and I was there for all of it! Love the twists and turns!

The Tenant by Freida McFadden was a Superb and excellent read. I just love the way Freida writes and every book I have read - all of them! I have been sitting on the edge of my seat and up to the early hours of the morning reading it. Ths one was No different!!! and Breath! This was so good. . . . . I did not want this book to end!

I highly recommend this book, well all her books! Another 5 star read.
