Wow frieda….. this has me hooked!! The plot twist had me shuck, this is definitely a 5 ⭐ from me!! I had the pleasure of getting a ARC and I am so glad I did… this is definitely in my top 10 of friedas books.

Freida is the queen of surprise twists, and The Tenant is no exception. This seems to follow the usual flow of Freida’s books, with twists thrown in here and there, and towards the end of the book, you get your standard major plot twists. She knows what her readers like and she sticks to that. This was written from a male’s POV, which is something different for Freida that I enjoyed. The male’s perspective was very well written and believable. Readers will not be disappointed!

Reading The Tenant through Blake's perspective feels like spiraling into madness with him. There are moments when you would genuinely think he's just losing his grip on reality, caused by overwhelming series of circumstances that could break anyone.

But, knowing it's a Freida McFadden book, you would know that there's more to the story. And there is.

The Tenant sticks to the formula McFadden often uses in her novels. While the "big reveal" felt predictable, it didn't take away from how much I enjoyed the experience. The story was compelling, and I was hooked from start to finish.

I had been craving a book that would remind me of the same thrill I felt while reading The Housemaid, and The Tenant delivered. It was a captivating ride. I finished it in just two days! This book will leave you eager to dive deeper into McFadden's works.

I love how every one of her books are so easy to read! The Tenant definitely did not disappoint! You’re left guessing the entire time and the twists are not what you expect! Freida McFadden will forever be a favorite!

Another perfect book by FMF! I really loved the fast paced way this book just sucked me in. I was hooked by the second chapter. I love when a book has me thinking I have it figured out and then by the next chapter I'm second guessing and thinking a different scenario. Did not expect that ending at all!! Twisty, male POV - five star read.

Freida has done it again!! A story that you can't put down, keeps you on the edge of your seat right from the beginning and those twists!! I loved this book from start to finish and had to pick my jaw off the floor a time or two.

The Tenant features a couple in which the male has recently lost his job, leaving them in need of some serious cash. They pick a tenant to help them out financially. Soon after, said male starts having alot of strange things happen to him. Could it be the tenant causing it all? This is typical Freida style, meaning I was engaged the whole time and I enjoyed the writing. I did guess most of the twists, but I think that just comes from reading so many of her books. I still enjoyed it a good bit!

I had the exciting opportunity to read an early copy of The Tenant through a giveaway, I can say it's in my top 3 of Frieda Mcfadden's books. From the very first page to the last, I was entertained. It grabbed my attention and maintained a good pace throughout the book. It was difficult to put down. Thanks to Mandy and Freida for this early read. I can't wait to purchase the physical copy next month!

All I can say is oh my god!!! This book had me questioning EVERYTHING, the character development? the storyline? The PLOT?? THE TWIST?? Chefs kiss, Miss Freida you’ve really outdone yourself girl cause this book had me looking like a madwoman trying to piece together evidence for my own theory. During the entire book I felt like I was going through everything Blake was going through. Each chapter kept me sucked into the book and I genuinely couldn’t put it down until I realized I finished the book and that plot twist at the end? Literally threw me so off guard. I wish I could erase my memory to re-read this all over again for the first time.

I really enjoyed this book by Freida! Lots of twists and unexpected things happening per usual Freida fashion, I loved everything about this book and will be recommending to my friends and family!

This was a quick read that I had a hard time putting down. The story is told from multiple POVs but the main character is male this time. Even though I saw the main twist coming, I enjoyed how it all played out. The chapters were short which I really appreciate. I’m actually a bit sad I finished this book because I’m back to waiting for my next Freida fix.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of The Tenant, and I really enjoyed it! True to Freida McFadden’s style, this one had plenty of twists and turns that completely caught me off guard. Just when I thought I had things figured out, the story flipped in a whole new direction.

I will say the beginning felt a little slow or drawn out, but once things started happening, I was hooked. The suspense kept building, and the final reveal definitely delivered. Another solid, twisty thriller from McFadden that fans of hers will love!

I was one of the lucky readers who received an ARC of Freida’s new book, The Tenant! I’d easily give this one five stars. Blake and Krista welcome Whitney into their home during a troubling time, believing she is the perfect person to be their tenant…or is she? Sitting at 368 pages, I literally flew through it, which is somewhat unusual for me with a book that size. Without giving any spoilers it felt like a quick, twisty, true Freida thriller that keeps you second guessing everything you know and believe. The character development was thorough, but not mind numbing. The descriptions were not gory, but enough to make you squirm. I loved that we also got a glimpse into the male perspective in this book, another reason it was such a hit for me. Of all her recent releases, I do have to say this is my favorite she’s put out in a while. Another thing I loved is that all of the chapters felt quick, but exciting. This usually helps me move through a book faster than if the chapters are long and drawn out. I cannot wait for release day to be here and for everyone to read it!!!

Absolutely loved this book. I did give it a. 4.5/5 stars in total. As usual, you think you have it figured out, but you don't. I feel like this book gave a little bit different type of twists than what other Freida books do and I am all for that!! I highly recommend this book and can't wait for her next one to come out

I received an ARC of The Tenant from NetGalley, and while I can’t say much… just know that Freida McFadden did NOT disappoint! Once again, I thought I had it all figured out—only to be completely wrong (as always). 😂

I could not put this book down. I had to know what was going to happen next, and it was absolutely worth the sleep deprivation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(Though running on three hours of sleep at work today? Brutal. 😭 And of course, it was one of those days!)

I loved this was from the POV from a man - Blake. Blake has it all until he’s fired from his VP marketing job and unable to make his mortgage payments. He lives with his fiancé Krista and they decide to take on a tenant to help with bills. They find Whitney and she seems like a great candidate and so she moves in. Everything is great until it isn’t. Blake has too much stress with finding a new job, odd stuff going on at home, that by the time the danger is too much - it’s far too late. Like all Freida’s books, the twists keep coming and they don’t stop coming. Buckle up because you will be jumping out of your seat.

Of course Frieda McFadden hit it out of the park again! I never saw the twist and I'll definitely think twice about renting out to a complete stranger!
