Thank you NetGalley for this audio arc, but respectfully no.
I was excited to see the audio arc available and immediately requested it because I bought the physical copy recently (sprayed edges will be the end of me!). Yeah no.
First, I’m not a fan of third person POV, but I understand the need for it in this book because of all the POV’s. This book had so much potential! The idea behind the book was great and unique, but the writing was not it for me. The way the demons spoke just seemed wanna be edge lord and forced. Like, we get it, they’re demons, but it’s so forced it was cringey.
The narrator did a decent job though with the different voices. If this was a full cast narration I think it would have been a better audiobook (I acknowledge that is considerably more expensive and not feasible for many authors). With so many different POV’s per chapter that would have helped keep the story more organized and not having it seemed like it was jumping from place to place.

I absolutely loved My Funny Demon Valentine! It’s the first book in a series, and I went into it expecting a quirky paranormal romance, but it completely stole my heart. Asmodeus aka Ash, a jazz loving demon prince, was ridiculously charming, and Eva is a badass violinist who somehow ends up in the middle of all his trouble. Their chemistry was so good with the perfect mix of humor, action, and romance.
The story kept me hooked the whole way through, and the audiobook narration by Kirsten Leigh made it even better. She did a great job bringing the characters to life. My only small gripe is that I wish it was in first-person pov instead of third, but that didn’t take away too much from the experience. Overall, I’d rate it a solid 4.5 out of 5, definitely a must read!

This was a fun paranormal romance! The story is set in Canada and was entertaining, funny, steamy, and contained a lot of action. I enjoyed the plot and how the author integrated the love for music into the story. The world building was not extreme, which I appreciated. I do not typically dive into this type of genre, but I was intrigued by the title, cover, and description. I listened to the audio which made the story very enjoyable, and that ending left me interested in knowing what will happen in the next book. This book might not be for everyone, but give it a read if this sounds like your type of story!
Thank you NetGalley and RBmedia for an ALC of this story in exchange for my honest review.

I think had this been a little more condensed I would have loved it, but I struggled to get through a few parts despite really enjoying the story as a whole. The characters were fantastic and the premise was a lot of fun with a couple fantastic twists. I'd recommend giving the audio a go if you listen to books, it may help if you're an ADHD reader who gets easily distracted like myself.
I absolutely adored these characters. Eva's mom was a doll, I can't wait for Bel's story (I love a broken boy so much) and really all of the stories to come. Aurora did an amazing job with the banter and, um, naivity? sheer ignorance? 😂 of the demons earth knowledge. They were all adorable and I am so excited for more of this world.
I will say the re-read on audio did make this one feel a little more condensed and I enjoyed it a touch more. Kristen Leigh did a fantastic job narrating.

Thank you to Nethalleh for the Audiobook ARC! I was definitely a little bored at the beginning. I’m not used to an immediate lust/want in my romance books, so this was different. The plot finally picked up and I enjoyed the end of the book. 3.5 stars in all!

i loved this. this was such a silly fun time. i’m so in love w the characters and the audio was AMAZINF

Thank you to netgalley and recorded books for an advanced copy of this audiobook.
Excellent narration.
I’m a sucker for a demon rom-com, and this hit the spot.

This was a super fun read! I enjoyed the humor (the Gollum reference was my favorite!) throughout the book! This isn’t too far off from what I’d expect to happen when four demon brothers try to make it on Earth. Did I guess how it was going to go? Yes, I did but did I care? Nope because I enjoyed it regardless. I can’t wait to read what else happens in this series!!

I absolutely adored this book! Even though it was about falling in love with a demon, it was so relatable. Ash and Eva have my heart. I am so excited that this is the beginning of a whole series! Also, I have ordered my own copy of the book because I loved it so much!
Thanks to Net Galley for the ARC audio of this title!

I've been wanting to read this book because I've been hearing such good things about it so I'm glad to have gotten a copy. I enjoyed it!

I listened to the ARC copy of this audiobook. It was a fun book with a lot of action! The character development of the MMC was enjoyable to see. Also, the banter shared between the 4 demon brothers was very funny. This book was unlike any other that I have read. I would classify this as urban paranormal fantasy. It has great twists and turns. Also, the spicy scenes were great! I highly recommend!

Thank you NetGalley and RBmedia for this ALC.
I need the following books IMMEDIATELY!!!! This books was the perfect Valentine’s Day listen. I adored the demon reaction to “I love you”. Hilarious!
Kirsten Leigh was a delightful performer. So much fun!

Thank you Netgalley and the author Aurora Ascher for the early access audiobook of My Funny Valentine.

✨Asher, a lust demon, was cursed and can no longer see colors, smell, or taste anything. Women also no longer notice him and don’t find him attractive unlike his demon “brothers”. One day they walk into a bar and Eva notices Asher, even though she shouldn’t be able to. Everything in their relationship is going great until she finds out he isn’t human… and something or someone might be after them. ✨
My thoughts:
💫I thought this book was absolutely adorable with a great amount of spice. I loved all the characters. The audiobook reader did an amazing job relaying all the emotions and different characters. I ordered the deluxe edition to have a trophy and preordered the next few in the series cause I cannot wait to find out what happens with the other characters💫

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. I did find the FMC to be a little flighty and airheaded though. The spicy bits were interesting, I liked all the monsters and the music aspect. Overall this was a solid 3.5 on my list.

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to review the audiobook for this book.
Now did I listen to this on Valentine's Day. Yes I did. Was I head over heals in love with it. Nope.
It was funny at times but the MMC was lack luster and there was a lot of lust.
I wish it was a little better but a strong 3 ⭐ ⭐⭐

Ash is used to being invisible after 3,000 years of being cursed. So, when he meets a beautiful violinist at a bar who sees past his curse, he is immediately intrigued and determined to have her regardless of the risk. Ash and his brothers have just escaped Hell and are currently being hunted. When Eva accidently sees Ash transform into a seven-foot monster and decapitate a gargoyle, she immediately believes she has hallucinated the whole thing. Eva is determined to figure out the truth but as Eva and Ash spend more time together, Eva finds there is more to this demon than she originally thought. Can Ash and Eva have their happy ending?
This was the perfect book to listen to right before Valentine's Day. I loved the chemistry between Ash and Eva and I really enjoyed the overall banter between the brothers. I was completely obsessed with this story and ended up finishing this audiobook in one day. I am excited to listen to the next book and hope that all of the original characters will be back.
Thank you to NetGalley and RB Media for the opportunity to review My Funny Demon Valentine. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I LOVED this book! It's really got it all, multiple relationship dynamics. It is in third person perspective, and I thought that was going to detour me, but the book was just so good that I was able to overlook that. The characters are relatable, the storyline is creative. I have never read anything by this author and I am impressed. If you enjoy paranormal romance, definitely grab this one.

I had been looking forward to this one, and OMG did I have every reason to be. It was so so cute and the perfect little spicy romcom! I am probably going to be chasing the high of this type of book for a while now. The audio was well done and kept me engaged, and of course the characters are so much fun. I also really love the correlation of names; Eva to reference Eve in the Garden of Eden for Asmodeous, the lust demon. Overall, I really, really enjoyed this!

Enjoyed how eva and ash bonded over music and how their shared passion brought them together and changed them. It was a cute and smutty book, it was an easy low risk read, perfect for valentines day.
